Ive been going to this shop for over 20 years (through 5 cars), even after I moved away from Milpitas. I trust them that much. Its a family business and the original owner passed the shop over to his son. I like how the shop actually checks the vehicle instead of guessing what might be the problem. They are also honest when telling you what services need to be done and dont try to oversell you on services you dont need. I will continue bringing my current and future cars to this shop for service.

Ive been using Alvins Auto for at least 5 years. Tony and the crew there are always so awesome and they dont try to rip you off. A good friend of mine works for a major car dealership as a mechanic and he says you should never go there for services bc they always try to up sell and rip you off. One time I dropped off my car and the dealership mechanic said I needed a new battery the next time my oil change was due. Went to Alvins and they said the battery was fine and didnt need to be replaced. Trust these guys 100%.

My SO and I love Alvins Auto!! Great auto body shop who know their stuff when it comes down to Toyota owned cars. We brought in our 06 Prius for an electrical problem with the signal light and electrical water pump.Of course, we brought in the car at Toyota Stevens Creek for a price quote which was way over our budget, plus they werent as knowledgeable compared to Alvins. Anthony, who helped us at the time, he was well rounded on Toyota cars and carefully inspected the car by showing us what were the problems and what should be done as opposed to Toyota Stevens Creek who didnt show us anything but a printed paper of things to get fixed.Alvin and the staff were friendly, honest and didnt pressure us into anything. After much consideration, we decided to get our car fixed here! Not only were they helpful, but they provide legitimate Toyota parts and not generic brands that will ruin your car! Were definitely coming here from now on for service and maintenance! Well priced and efficient!

Great service. They do not try to fool or overcharge you.

They charged me$128 to diagnose a.c., and couldnt find the leak, then wanted to charge me again to add dye, which should have been part of the diagnostics anyway. I cant trust them anymore for further service
