I had a great experience at CrossFit Millburn. My brother has been going here for years and I joined him for a workout. Our coach, Danielle, was outstanding! She helped me get through the whole workout and provided awesome tips along the way! I’ll be sure to make this a staple visit whenever I’m back in the area. Highly recommend for all levels of crossfit lovers!
I dropped in at CrossFit Millburn to run Olympic weightlifting programming, and I was so impressed with the size and cleanliness of the gym, as well as the amount/quality of equipment! I have never seen so many Rogue monster racks in one place 😹. The members were really friendly and the coaches I met, Jermaine and Diogo, were helpful and knowledgeable. It was a super nice space and atmosphere and I’m looking forward to visiting again.

Very welcoming environment. Came in as a newbie a little over a year ago and never left. Workouts are great- challenging but always scalable. Class scheduling can accomodate early birds and those that prefer evenings, and I just love the coaches!

Ive been a member here for 2 years and I really enjoy it. Ive increased my strength and endurance while adding great skills like muscle ups and olympic lifting. The community is great, the members and coaches here are some of my best friends. It is a very welcoming place where everyone will root for you to succeed.

Fantastic gym- very welcoming! I dropped in from out of town for one class, and Diogo and the athletes in class made me feel like I was at home. Had a great time here. Sometimes people are intimidated about some things we do in CrossFit- or even walking through the doors for the first time. This gym has a very welcoming atmosphere- the kind of gym where these people would feel no intimidation, and get instantly fired up!

Fantastic community and fun! The bonus was that there was so much space for everyone and so much equipment for people to accommodate over 20 of us for Memorial Day Murph. And the owner set the appropriate tone of making sure we didn’t hurt ourselves but encouraging us when we needed it.
Recently went over the weekend to this Gym and was Amazed. They have all the equipment you need / want to get a great WOD in.Thanks Coach Diogo I’ll be back soon !!
CrossFit Maelstrom is not like other gyms. In around an hour you will get an unbelievable workout combing all the elements of CrossFit and strength training. The coaching staff is first rate and is super focused on safety and proper movements by their athletes. Awesome place to get fit and have fun all at the same time. Trainers are very well prepared for the class and are attentive to each person individually. I only attended 1 class as a guest but I am looking forward becoming a member. I drive an hour to get there and it is worth every minute of it.
One of the better CrossFit gyms Ive been to. The area is spacious enough where you arent on top of each other and there are various rooms to do the different workouts. The instructors are extremely friendly and helpful. They pay attention to everyone during the workout and make sure everyone is safe in their movements.
The workouts are killer and the trainers are incredibly helpful with improving your form and/or working around injury. Great place and go as often as I can!
We had my son’s 8th birthday party with his entire class. Thank you coaches for making this a memorable experience for the second graders. They loved all the workout stations, but most of all they had a blast during the dodge ball game. They needed the pizza and cake to recharge after the fun work out.
Amazing place to go to whether you’re a first timer in CrossFit or have been working out for years and really want to challenge yourself. The coaches and people at CFM are wonderful and make working out a fun, collaborative, and educational experience. Every day is a different workout, so you’ll never get bored and will always be pushed to your absolute limit. This was my first experience with CrossFit and I’m hooked!
While visiting the area from Philly, I was looking for a gym to drop into while in town. I reached out in advance to get more information, and was responded to quickly with welcoming and helpful information. This morning I dropped in for their barbell class, and had such a blast! Kareem greeted me upon arrival, gave me a tour and welcomed me to make myself at home. Members soon arrived, everyone was super nice and introduced themselves, and made me feel as if I had been going there all along. The class started with a great movement specific warm-up, then into the start of our work session. Kareem’s coaching was great - clear and descriptive with demonstration and help along the way when needed. Dave was also there to coach the Olympic lifts and help with technicalities, very vey friendly and helpful! This is a great spot, I’ll definitely be back again the next time I’m in the area. We recently had my son’s 9th birthday party here and everyone had a great time! There were a lot of activities set up for them and it was very well planned and executed! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This is a great place to get into crossfire. They have a great team of trainers and are also very supportive and motivating. The people in the group classes are also very inspiring and keep motivating me.
The amount of time directed towards each student is unprecedented. I always had a personal problem trying to perfect form in workouts to avoid injuries, within a week at the gym I was not only executing proper form, but also breaking personal lifting records. Ive been to plenty of gyms, but the coaching here is the best ive ever encountered. From the moment I walked in the coaches and gym members made me feel like family, overall just a great place!!

I gave CrossFit another chance after having a terrible first experience at a different gym. Needless to say, CrossFit Millburn completely sold me. From the coaches, to the space, to the workouts, nothing was short of impressive. The staff was very attentive, the newley renovated facility was clean and spacious, and the workouts pushed me harder than anything I’ve experienced. 5 stars!!!
Top-notch coaching. Since I have started doing CrossFit at CrossFit Maelstrom, I have continually hit new PRs in weight lifting (some by almost 100#), due to coaching on technique and a dedicated strength program. Further, I have added gymnastics skills that I didnt know I had in me (butterfly pull ups, handstand walks, muscle ups).
Couldnt have had a more lovely experience at CrossFit Millburn! Diogo, our coach, was a wonderful motivator, he delivered seamless transitions, and we left feeling motivated and exhausted (in a good way!). We were just dropping in, but were treated like members of the community - wish we could live here so we could attend! Thank you, Diogo!

This was my first time ever doing crossfit and I had an awesome first experience. The coach was great, informative, and super nice! The atmosphere was non judgemental and encouraging all while getting a great workout! I would definitely go back and would highly recommend this gym.

I have been a member of CFM for 6 months at the writing of this review. Simply stated, this place is awesome. In 6 months Ive set and hit major goals: muscle up by year end, check, deadlift 300 pounds (315 actually), check, increase front and back squat by 20%, check. Dont know what any of that stuff is? Then no worries, because CFM has the most supportive, welcoming and knowledgeable staff (coaches) I have come across. They are motivating without yelling at you, instructive without talking down too you and ALWAYS keep your safety as the first priority. If you are afraid of injury or just intimidated by Crossfit but want to try it, this is the place to do it. From the experienced Crossfitter to the newbies, everyone is super friendly and genuinely having fun. Yes, its fun. As a side note, I am a Chiropractor with a multi-discipline sports practice with physical therapy and rehabilitation therapists. We treat athletic injuries daily and I can really appreciate the attention to detail Dan and his coaches have for injury prevention.
