Edit:Ray is great, like I said before. He negotiated well, and brought our car 25min away to a Sullivan Tire for the used car inspection. Yes, he originally turned us off of buying because he said we couldnt take it to Arlington. But he worked out in the end, and we bought a great car at a great price!Nice people, good cars but be warned: they dont let you take the car out to see an independent mechanic if you take the car out longer than 1hr. Total BS! I live in Arlington, an hour away.

After shopping for 6-8 months for a Honda Element, I came across Speed Auto Center posting what appeared to be a quality Element. After further investigation I discovered that this company, run by Ray Lyrio, is actually a CarFax dealer. Ray pays a premium to obtain CarFax reports on every car that he sells. I looked at the car and drove it. Prior to leaving the parking lot Ray advised that the car needed brakes and that they would be done before the car was delivered. We agreed on a price slightly less than what he was asking but he not only replaced the front brakes he went beyond my expectations and replaced the rear brakes and put 4 new tires on the car. He is a gentleman to work with and professional. He is like anyone in the business and does it to make a living for himself and I respect that. He genuinely cares about the cars leaving his small car lot. He owns an auto detailing station on location and the guys do a great job cleaning the vehicles. I had questions regarding some things on the car after the purchase and he answered them. He has a close relationship with a mechanic nearby and can have mechanical issues taken care of quickly. If you are looking for a rock bottom prices this may not be your source. However, if you are looking for a quality car with excellent pre and post sales support and the reassurance knowing that the seller will stand by his car then this is the place for you.
