Canyon Recreation was exceptional! I received great customer service from them both when I called before our trip, and when we arrived in Utah. I really cant wait to travel and book a vehicle again. We received advice about a wonderful campground to stay at as we had a last minute change in trip plans. Everything was packed so well in the Jeep. We used all the gear, and it was great. What wonderful memories my son and I made - very grateful!!!

Everything from start to finish was a wonderful experience with Canyon Recreation. I did a lot of research prior to this trip and Melanie was very helpful in answering questions I had in a very timely manner. I considered other van/camper rental companies but I’m so glad I chose Canyon Recreation. The pickup and drop off process could not have been easier. The Bronco was perfectly equipped with exactly what we needed and the tent was a breeze to setup even in the dark. And driving the Bronco was so much fun! Awesome place to rent a Jeep from!Had the vacation of a lifetime thanks to Melanie and the staff at Canyon Recreation! The Jeep came with everything we needed, and more. The rooftop tent was fantastic - 2-3 min to set up and 3-4 min to take down, and very roomy! The rechargeable battery pack was a wonderful feature that enabled us to run the fans we brought when camping at hot, remote locations. Melanie and the staff were very responsive when we had any questions, and kept in touch with me when needed. Highly recommended, and will rent here again next time Im out this way!I had fallen in love with southern Utah 34 years ago and have been back several times since then, but the last time was 15 years ago. Out of the 5 times Ive been there, this was by far the best - because of the Jeep we rented! It was economical (rental RVs, although they have more room, are more than twice as expensive when you factor in that they charge for mileage), fun to drive, has virtually all the gear you need for camping already included, and it allowed us to go places and see things that we otherwise would have missed! Rented for 2 weeks and did a grand tour of 6 national parks, 4 national monuments, 4 state parks, and 4 national forests! Would not have even considered Cathedral Valley of Capitol Reef, driving up over Cedar Mountain to get to Kolob Terrace and Kolob Lake to come in the back way to Zion, driving Valley of the Gods near Mexican Hat, driving the mountain roads of Bears Ears from Natural Bridges to the Needles District of Canyonlands, or driving the White Rim Road of Island In The Sky District of Canyonlands without a Jeep! But Canyon Recreation made it all possible to create the trip of a lifetime for my daughter Rachel, who also fell in love with southern Utah during this trip!Kevin McCollumHummelstown, PA

My wife and I rented one of the new Broncos for a week to explore Utah. We had a blast!! We really enjoyed how the Bronco came fully equipped with all of the necessary tools, utensils, grill etc that we needed to have an enjoyable trip. The pick up and drop off process was simple! We recommend!

We wouldn’t want to explore Utah any other way. Canyon Recreation provided everything we needed and more to make our National park tour and camping trip possible!! We loved having the option to camp on the free Bureua of Land Management sites, and the tent was up in minutes! The moon roof on the tent was amazing to watch the stats at night, and the side windows brought a wonderful breeze. They don’t advertise it, but Canyon also provided us with pillows and the propane needed for the stove! We can’t wait to come back!

Wow! I was so fortunate to find this Canyon Recreation on some random Google while planning our trip to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Beartooth Pass. We fly into SLC from OKC and we were able to get transport with this Canyon Recreation to their office and then rent this stunning Bronco suv. Spent total 5 nights in the rooftop tent, it was so perfect for the 3 of us. Plenty spaces in the rooftop tent! Absolutely love the concept this owner’s business for providing the every equipments come with this suv. Thank you for making our family’s a lifetime trip very memorable! And we’ll be definitely rent this suv again in the near future for another trip to the national parks around in Utah! FIVE STARS!!!

We rented the Ford Bronco for 10 days and had an amazing vacation! Pick-up and drop-off were very fast, the staff was friendly and responded to all of our questions. The car/tent and the camping equipment were complete and in very good condition. I would definitely recommend Canyon Recreation!

We had an absolutely amazing experience renting through Canyon Recreation and highly recommend them to any prospective renters seeking adventure. The set up of the roof top tent was very quick, easy, and convenient. Additionally, the gear included was easy to use, well organized, and didn’t take up too much space leaving plenty of room for your own gear and packs. The staff was all very friendly and knowledgeable and even offered pick up/drop off to and from the airport.The only reason why we didn’t give five stars is the fact that we were not particularly impressed with the drive capabilities and handling of the Ford Bronco and would have rather had the Jeep, however that is only personal preference and we still recommend renting through Canyon Recreation. You won’t regret it!

Everything was perfect. The jeep was the perfect vehicle for this trip I got us where we need to go it was small enough to get around. We loved the rooftop camper so there was very little room for improvement. The Canyon recreation team did a great job of putting together everything you need and nothing that you didn’t. Space is tight so that’s important. We will make a habit out of running this vehicle from Canyon recreation

Melanie, at Canyon Recreation, did a great job in providing a great vehicle that was well outfitted to meet our needs of exploring the state of Utah like a local. She was responsive to any questions and concerns, and provided tips to help us maximize our trip and improve our experience while there. Doing it any other way would’ve taken away at least half of the fun and experience we enjoyed on this excursion.I’d gladly rent from Canyon Recreation again.

Tried the Bronco for a week-end in late April !! Loved it! it had all that was needed and more. Drive is excellent. Makes me want to go back to Utah and explore much more. Nothing can beat the sunrise views from the rooftop tent!

My wife and I wanted to tour Yellowstone and the surrounding area at the time of the 2017 solar eclipse. We wanted a small camper-like vehicle to combine our transportation and lodging, but didnt want an RV or camper trailer. Everything we came across was booked up, but we managed to find Canyon Recreation last minute. The entire experience, from the moment of first contact to the return, was easy and hassle-free. They dropped the Jeep off at the hotel we were staying at in SLC, and took the time to review all the equipment included and answer any questions we had. The Jeep was the perfect arrangement, as we had a great deal of flexibility as far as where we went and slept. The one night we didnt have any campground reservation, and since everything was booked up we simply drove out into state game lands to park for the night. Returning it after the trip was just as easy. We simply cleaned it out, locked it up with the keys inside, and they picked it up the hotel the next morning. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and will make them the first point of contact the next time were in the area.

My son and I traveled to Utah to celebrate him turning 10 and to enjoy the outdoors. He wanted to, “Dig for dinosaurs, camp out and ride in a Jeep.” Canyon Recreation could solve two of those! Melanie and the entire team were great. We had a great vehicle with well-stocked camping supplies, a friendly welcome with instructions on how to use everything, and they even gave us a quick ride to our next destination upon turning in the Jeep. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience with Canyon Recreation. We rented the Jeep Wrangler with the iKamper tent on top. Melanie was super helpful when we first picked up the Jeep. They really hook you up with loads of equipment for camping with the car, including a stove, cookware, generator, lantern, chairs, a table, as well as a propane canister, towels, soap, among other things. Price was reasonable. So glad we found this company and would definitely do again.

I rented a camper Jeep for a surprise for my husbands birthday and he absolutely loved it! It was so nice to have all the equipment ready to go. We loved being able to drive around on the dirt roads and see Utah! The tent is super easy to pop up and put down and very spacious and comfortable.The staff at Canyon Recreation was very helpful and accommodating. They replied quickly if I had any questions or concerns at all.We will definitely be renting a Jeep from them again and recommending to all our family and friends.

Perfect service!! We rented a Jeep with a rooftop tent. The service and communication was superb. We got all the camping equipment. All was well-organized and it was a pleasure. We traveled with their Jeep for three weeks. Zero problems with the car and the camping gear. Highly recommended!

The guys at Canyon Recreation were fast to respond to any emails about booking the jeep.When we got there they explained all the bits and pieces of how everything works. The jeep itself was all that we needed for a 12 day road trip for our honeymoon to the mighty 5 in Utah, Grand Staircase National Monument and Dead Horse Point State Park. They had everything from pillows, sleeping, bags, utensils, stove, camp chairs, and charging station for you ready so you can take it on your adventure. We even experienced some off roading for the first time which was really fun. Throughout the trip we had at least 10 people stop by to compliment the set up of the jeep. We are already home from our honeymoon and miss driving the jeep. We will definitely book a jeep from them again!

As campers, this was the best way to see all 5 National Parks in Utah economically. We loved the experience and our dealings with everyone at Canyon Recreation was exceptional.Already planning next years trip!!!

Perfect experience all around! The jeep experience was way better than expected - comfortable to sleep in, travel in, and just enough space to pack all your gear with the gear provided. The staff were friendly and communicated quickly and gave an amazing recomendation of where to camp! Highly recommend this company and if we ever come back to Utah (which we plan to) we will definatley rent this Jeep again!

Everything about Canyon Recreation was fantastic. Melanie was very helpful in answering all my questions leading up to my trip, the Jeep was so well-equipped, and it was the perfect thing for driving around Utahs easy and moderate 4x4 roads. I had been concerned about the wind making it hard to sleep in the roof tent, but as long as the hard shell is angled right and you tie down anything that might make annoying noises (the zippers on the windows!) its fine. If its extremely windy, use earplugs. Also, the tent is surprisingly spacious and comfortable—I was really impressed. My partner and I are already planning our next trip.

Our trip was amazing! The Jeep allowed us to go places few others are able to enjoy, and the tent enabled us to be free from a scheduled itinerary- definitely the way to go!

For the first time i finally get to take out one of the new jeep. As an employee ive always get them ready for an adventure and always get excited for the person that is renting the jeep . well its my turn to take one out and let me say this new jeep was incredible the smoothest jeep that ive ever been in it was a Cadillac even better on the dirt and the gas mileage also amazing. When i get to my campsite i pulled everthing out and tested all the gear and yes everything i needed was here didnt have to run to town to get stuff cuz it was already in the jeep. Melanie has the perfect set up for the jeeps she has purchased and me as an employee would recommend this jeep for hitting the most beautiful mountains and im so greatful that Melanie gave me the chance to experience now i can answer most of the question

My 16 year old Son and I rented a Jeep camper for five nights of camping in South East Utah during November. We used it to visit and camp in both developed and primitive backcountry campgrounds in the national parks Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands. We’d rented Jeeps in the past, and this one was as good if not better than our others. It performed very nicely, and was even easy for my 16 year old to handle. It drove nice on the freeways and highways and we had no issues with the Jeep trails in these national parks. We were able to get to and camp in places not possible in any other way, getting to the darkest skies and the most remote corners. We drove this jeep day and night and never had an issue. It was roomy enough to fit all of the provided camping equipment as well as several bags for both of us. For camping gear, the jeep came efficiently appointed with everything we needed for stopping and cooking up a meal. As for sleeping, with a quick demo, we easily learned how to put up and take down the roof top tent in little time; on our schedule, we even did this in the dark routinely. Once done, we were surprised how weather resistant the roof top tent was; in November it was as low as 15 degrees each night when we emerged to photographs stars, yet the zero degree rated sleeping bags kept us toasty warm while the tent protected us from wind and rain. The Jeep even comes with a battery that can power 110 Volt, USB, and 12V devices. We were able to charge our photo equipment regularly, as well as power a CPAD machine nightly. Finally, the folks at Canyonland Recreation rented us a Garmin navigation unit, which we found indispensable as once off the main roads, the GPS on our iphones and ipads failed to connect, while the Garmin was always able to locate us.

Amazing. What else can i say... 2 weeks of pure bliss with my gf... Hicking and mtb with a camper jeep was so easy, so usefull and yes so fun. You need something ? Its there. Thanks to all the friendly staff.
