This is the kind of place that gives mechanics a bad rep….so went in for a Diagnostic on my Truck’s AC, got an estimate for 2k. Went elsewhere for a second opinion and found out that only needed a single hose that had a crack, only $100 to replace. Never again!! This place waits to take advantage of decent people.

Had my 2007 Ford Mustang repaired here. Replaced my Cat. convertor with a next day turn around time. Robert kept me up to date and was friendly and informative. This is my second time having my car in and while they are a little pricey their work is quality and they stand behind it; and that is what matters more. I would surely recommend you try here first for your auto mechanic needs.

Took my Jeep for a few fixes: Brakes and oil leaks. They took care of the breaks and a couple of the oil leaks correctly but one oil leak continued. I took it back a few times to have it done correctly, it was not fixed though they said it was redone.I finally gave up and took it to another mechanic (directly recommended by friends) which fixed correctly. The new mechanic took pictures as he was doing the job to show me if Carroll’s did what they said they did. I was charged for hours to take the transmission out to fix the leak but it was never done. Best guess they half did the job and still charged full price. They were nice but I do not pay for nice but a job properly done.New shop: job well done, and half the price.This place is pretty expensive (though most places in town are equally expensive), I would not mind if the job was done correctly. I recommend carrillo’s for easy simple jobs but not for more complicated jobs you cannot easily verify for yourself.

Great Service and very helpful. Suddenly my trucks steering wheel, and gear shifter was stuck, and the key would not turn no matter what I did. I expected to have to tow my truck to the Ford house and spend hundreds to get it to work, but I called Carrillos. They advised me to get a new key made and try it before I have it towed and spend lots of money. I took their advice and the new key worked. Because of their experience I saved hundreds of dollars. Thanks guys.

Great and quick service for the exact price they quoted. Robert even showed me how to replace my own air filter instead of paying them to do it! Pretty crazy. Ill never go anywhere else in Midland for repairs.

I had my brakes done on my truck this week and they had done in one day and the cost was fair. When I came to pick my truck up I had locked the keys inside. Even though it was 7pm the owner was still there and helped me get my keys out. I have only been here for 90 days now and everything in Midland is hard to do so this was so nice and refreshing. I would recommend everyone to Carrillos.

Couldnt believe how easy these guys were to work with. Honest too, they could have told me, it took us 3 days to rebuild that steering column instead the said Hey look, it needs to just be replaced which is what I assumed to begin with. I found a replacement steering column before ever even calling them so I was surprised to see how little they actually mark their parts up. This is a legitimate business with a legitimate overhead, and i spent less than my budget.Their over all professionalism has earned a customer for life.

Never actually got service here. 5 stars for honesty. The dont work on anything older than 2000 and dont go behind other shops work. I have a 95 GMC G3500 with a 350 TBI small block and its very difficult to find a qualified mechanic that isnt scared of it around here.

I have had nothing but good experiences in dealing with Carrillos. They give great service and back up their work. They seem very knowledgeable and have fixed the problems that I have taken them. Their fees are not cheap, but they are fair. Its what youre going to pay at any dependable shop. They tell you what is wrong and how much it will cost you and then it is up to you. I recommend these guys.

I thought they might be too busy to help me since other places have a 2 week waiting period and this place looks like they are always full. But they said they could replace my brakes no problem and even called me back in an hour to give me the quote whereas other places take 4-5 hours to call back or some never call back at all. I am quite impressed.

The only reason this place has 5 stars is because they offer a discount if you give a good online review. Charged me $140 just to look at the problem and then wanted to add nearly $850 to replace a $170 fuel pump, thats $990 for a two hour job. Who in the world deserves $820 for two hours of labor? I decided to go elsewhere for much cheaper. Bad first impression for a potential customer. Ill go where the service and price are not considered as gouging. Unbelievable! I have never been disappointed by the service and care that Carrillos automotive takes with me and my vehicle. They have been able to fix each and every problem with each of my vehicles that I have taken over the years. As a 10 year customer, I have taken my vehicles to them even over the dealership during warranty because of persistent problems that are not resolved when I go to the dealership I bought my car from. Mr. Carrillo and staff are individuals of high integrity and I will continue to take my vehicles to them in the future.

Took my 2014 GMC Sierra in for AC diagnose. Charged $130 to tell me condenser had a leak and could not get the part for months and when it did come in the part would be $285 and the total bill would be $1300+ on top of the diagnose fee. I asked if I could bring them the part and they said no aftermarket parts because they dont fit. Ordered a condenser off the Internet. Took me 3 hours to get it off (I have no idea what I am doing) and less than 2 hours to put it back together. Went to one of the more expensive shops in town to get it charged and that cost just over $200. Basically these guys are charging over $800 for what took me 5 hours. I would bet I could do it in 3 the next time.

I went in for an A/C repair quote. They were very nice and gave me a ride across town to where I needed to be. They were the second shop I went to after Lone Star Automotive, and reported that *some problems* were no longer present. Their A/C quote was reasonable and the people seemed real--busy but not too hurried to be straight with their customers. I also got a third quote that was ~$200 less (for a $1600) repair, and wound up doing the repair at Christian Brothers. Christian Brothers did ok, but found *new* a/c problems, which in the end was additional money. Long story short, I wish I had stuck with Carillos, I think my A/C would be working great now instead of, Well I guess its ok since we spent all that money and effort.Also, Carillos was very prompt.

I need to know if they are set up for ARI BILLING.

Took my truck there for a girl problem and brakes they charged me 321 dollars to check my truck and all it was was bad gas that they just added more gas then to top it off my truck ended up with a huge dent on the rear passenger side that was not there when it was dropped off to them they didnt fix my brakes like I asked them to the owner would not fix the dent yeah Im not impressed with them at all
