I asked my therapist if, based on what I’ve confided in him, he identifies emotional or psychological abuse from my partner in my relationship. His response was “well I’m not there so I can’t say.” So I said “new question - do you not believe anything I tell you?” To which he stumbled over his words and tried to backtrack.So that was fun. Needless to say I no longer go to therapy and will probably never trust it again.Someone close to me saw a different LCSW or MHC here and ended up being HIS therapist because the kid (yes, kid) couldn’t stop talking about himself or his own problems.This place is a joke.

I liked the office staff. But my therapist wasn’t good for me. Would wrap up the session fifteen minutes before it ended constantly. Had to cancel several times and they were not understanding about life happening.$35-50 fee for cancelling 24 hours before the visit.

Bavoy has helped tremendously in the mental health dept. Tanisha listens, provides insight, and enough praise to assure that I got this one day at a time. I truly feel heard, and productive when going to therapy. 5/5 Recommended.

My time at BAVOY has really changed my life and the way that I experience therapy. Charlene Dones has really helped me to go deeper to learn more about myself and my experiences in order to work on myself. She is supportive, knows how and when to tell me difficult truths, and is so easy to talk to. Highly recommend!
