Very quick turn around time to schedule a new patient appointment. Provider I was placed with made me feel very comfortable, front desk staff was pleasant and welcoming.

Wanted to share that I had a great experience at this practice. Moved to the area recently and needed to find a new provider. I felt very welcomed on my first visit and my nurse was very easy to talk to. It can be hard to find a provider that makes you feel comfortable and feels like a good fit. I am very glad I called this practice!

Its been 2years. Since Ive been there, I move away. I ask if I could make a opiontment to see someone about try to get some help. They said u have a call no show opiontment. So thats why they wont take me. I moved away and got a new phone. also for a place that said we are trying to help, your lying. Very bad reputation dont go here !!!!!!!!

Janet is amazing and the most hardworking and friendly person I’ve ever met who works in a position like hers. She gets yelled at by rude patients and doctors and pharmacists all day and never lets it get to her. She is always soft spoken and warm when interacting with people and you’d think you’ve known her for years just from talking to her for a few mins. She is very good at handling requests and always makes sure to follow up with you about the results and let’s you know if there’s anything else you need to do or that she needs. I used to dread when my medicine needed a prior authorization but I feel at ease knowing Janet is handling it, and know it will get taken care of quickly.The man working at the front desk currently (I don’t know his name I apologize)is very nice. He is new but doesn’t let that bother him. He still speaks to everyone politely and ACTUALLY gets the messages on the voicemail and handles them correctly. I’m not stuck having to call and ask what in the world is going on and if they even listened to my voicemail. I used to hate when they had someone else in charge of those.Dr. McCormick is wonderful! I swear to god I feel like this woman helped save my life. I was out of work for over 2 years because I was having such debilitating panic attacks that I could hardly leave my house. My doctor referred me to her and it was the best thing I could’ve ever done. I’m not exaggerating at all. I wanted a doctor who wasn’t just gonna be a pill pusher and I wanted to find out the root cause of what was happening to me; finally I found that kind of treatment with her. I still have the occasional anxiety but I haven’t had any panic attacks in over a year. I never thought that would happen. I thought I’d be a prisoner to these things for the rest of my life and honestly wasn’t sure how much more I was able or willing to take. She helped me talk through things and to understand things from a different viewpoint.If you are truly looking for a doctor who knows what she is doing and will formally assess you and treat you- and not just give you drugs that you request because that’s what your friend takes- then please give them a call. They are a great practice and you won’t regret that you did.

Ive been a patient here for just about a year. I see Karen and have never had such comprehensive, professional treatment by a mental health professional. She heard me out after a terrible experience with another psychiatrist in town and she continues to impress me at every visit with her knowledge of the medications Im on, as well as their interactions with each other.Now, I will say, it is hard to get in touch with the front desk by telephone. Thats what made me only give 4 stars. However, I can see how busy they are with patients in front of them and feel like they do their best.

It is so nice to be greeted like people want you to be there.Youre lucky if someone looks up AND doesnt roll their eyes.The woman who IS the front desk is my role model. She does everything...quickly...with a smile...remembers you. and after all that goes above and beyond when you need help and she is happy to do it. I dont know how she does it. My theory is super powers.What is truly exceptional to me is my doctor but I cant entirely put it into words. I find it exceptional that she thinks about the illness beyond meds. Its exceptional that she hears and understands what I am saying more than the other doctors Ive been to (which is a lot). I really wish I could describe this better. Maybe someone else will comment and help me out here.They are a warm and open group that knows what they are doing.

I don’t know where all the negative reviews are coming from but I’ve had a great experience at this practice. Front desk has been nice to me greeting me when I walk in and my Doctor has been so easy to talk to and got me the mediciation I need. I recommend this practice for sure!

Great place. I’v Been a longtime patient. I’m impressed of the teamwork of the office staff. I still come to McCormick and associates after having to move out of state. I don’t think I would get better treatment elsewhere after being helped so much over the years from McCormick and associates.DJ

Not only is the front desk cranky and rude, but they are not accommodating in the least and make scheduling appointments a hassle. They have no bed side manner and have no idea how to treat those struggling with mental health. They also only send out medicines on certain days which is RIDICULOUS! Another issue I have with them is that they don’t answer the phone. I called 10 times in one day and never received a call back when It was urgent. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here and go to creative medical instead. This place is a joke, and they have no idea how to treat people.

So far so good. My girls like Dr. Hummel and more importantly so do I. She is very knowledgeable and answers all questions we have.

I scheduled my appointment a month ago. I called on the 13th to confirm. At that time, they couldn’t find me in the system. After looking, they called me back and left a message stating that my appointment was on 9/26 at 3:00pm. I arrived that day at 2:45 to find the door locked with a closed sign in the window! I can’t believe I waited a month, had my husband leave work early and left work early myself, just so that they would be a no call, no show. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I went there for help and now I’m back to the drawing board. I guess it will be another month before I get the help I need.

I am very pleased with my experience here. I can be a hard critic of mental health care places and the people employed by them. combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when i’m not feeling well and the result can be much less that pleasant. However, since becoming a patient here my nurse has helped me through a handful of my problems and although the medication took a couple adjustments for me we eventually found the perfect dosage and medication altogether. I truly struggled with mental health for a long time until becoming a patient here. This place was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. I felt like I was in safe hands and the staff even had me leaving with a smile on my face! I believe they are the best and I won’t have that awful feeling of dread when I come in for an appointment here. I appreciate their followups everytime I have a question they’re more than eager to answer and help me. A big thank you to all of the staff over at Mccormicks!

Would give zero stars if I could. This place is office. It is rare to be able to get someone on the phone, and dont bother leaving a message because no one returns phone calls. They dont care about your well-being, they just want to make sure they are getting money. They are not friendly in the office, either. I went for 3 visits and on two of those visits no one made any eye contact, the woman at the front desk was unorganized and not ready for work at all, so made me wait, and multiple staff members walked by me as I waited and did not even say hello. The psychiatrist I went to see told me she did a lot of research in school about anxiety and how to deal with it without loading up on medication, but the first thing she did was put me on a higher dose of my current medication and added a second medication. She never came off as caring and she came off as very uppity. I will NOT be going back to this place.

This is not a professional business. Had to call THEM three times after leaving contact information to schedule an appointment. They have ridiculous policies and zero professionalism. Go seek medical treatment elsewhere if you want to avoid conflict and petty issues.

The worst experience I had ever endured and seen !!! She needs to go back to school, and learn the effects of different meds and the withdrawal symptoms of such meds.After 3 months I had went through 3 withdrawals and one put me in the ER and a stay at the hospital!! Please be very careful of this so called HELP, its your health and would not recommend this office to a animal!!

Really had a great experience at this office. Everyone is very friendly and my nurse made me feel very comfortable on my first visit.

Attended for simple med checks for my child for approximately a year. Recently broke my phone which had my calendar and missed an appointment. They refused to see my child for her medication refills without paying a $50 no show fee. They make no accommodations for situations and have no caring of what patients situations are. They will allow a child to go off of a medication which has withdraw side effects over $50. I normally do not complain about much, but this is completely insensitive, especially considering the field in which they are working.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYThese people are useless. I ended up being transferred to them when my psychiatrist retired. Needed meds refilled and my pharmacy contacted them once two weeks ago, then again a week ago to refill meds. But the meds were never filled, and that led to me calling them myself to see what the problem was.First time was late at night and the woman from their answering service told me to call back during their business hours at 9am. So I did and their answering service told me theyd leave a message and the office would call me back. Waited 30 minutes under the impression she meant an immediate call, then called again. The next person who answered had an attitude. Told me the office was closed until July 9th. Closed 6 days straight for 4th of July! When I asked why she was extremely rude, basically said she didnt make the rules. Call turned into an argument, and then she hung up. Reminder: Theyve had two weeks to refill my meds. Thats one simple job.This isnt the first time either. Ive had multiple problems refilling meds with this company. My pharmacy contacts them and they dont ever send a new script, and I end up having to call personally, which means dealing with their horrible answering service. Would rather deal with an automated phone service. Thats how bad it is.I have problems with clinical depression and anxiety, and NEED the meds Im prescribed. These people dont make it easy to get in contact with them, and youll never get their office when you try to call. And if you try to inquire about anything other than office hours their rude answering service will ignore you, say they dont know, or hang up. Simple as that.Theyre also only at the Newark office part-time, so good luck getting an appointment.Another thing, and this is a critique of most doctors offices, a missed appointment fee of 50$ is a rip-off. Especially if youre dealing with the mentally ill youre going to have people occasionally miss appointments. Its just another way to scam you out of money. Theres no reason for it, especially when you consider how much a doctor makes.

Was referred to this office for my daughter. She has an appointment today but every time i try calling this office knowbody answers the phone. I tryied calling to find out an exact time of her appointment because i didnt receive a reminder call. If this is a normal thing then i dont believe i will continue to take my daughter here. I will only take her to this appointment because she needs her medication. I tried calling 2 times already and its almost 10am. I dont fewl comfortable taking her to a doctors office that you can never get a hold of. Not very good patient relations.

Very unorganized Ive seen my dr about 3 times the first time she seen me about a half hour late and the last appointment I had there was a student there and she again seen me a half hour late I believe I was in her office for about 5 minutes and she sent me on my way now Im pretty sure my appointments are paid by insurance for at least 45 minutes but I felt judged and uncomfortable and which is unacceptable not to mention scheduled appointments being messed up
