Both my therapist and my med doctor got there licenses removed and I was forced to go 3 months with no treatment.

Access Counseling Services / Irfan A. Dahar, MD is a shameful example of someone who makes a business from enacting pain and suffering. Very disappointing that this Psychologist remains in business after so many sad events - and overwhelming negative reviews - and that they can continue demeaning.. and disrupting the lives of their patients.. with seemingly little to no recourse.Please.. go elsewhere for your care and counsel. Read the other comparative reviews and beware.

I’ve called this place 8 times trying to schedule an intake appointment. Half of those times, the call was ignored. Mental health should be taken seriously and not seen as an inconvenience. I would not recommend trying to go here, as people usually don’t reach out for help until they need it desperately. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Waited 1hour and 20 minutes for my appointment !!!! After 45 minutes I ask them if the Doctor was running late and was told oh you are next !!!Another 35 minutes of wait time and this happens .I had already seen the Nurse (an hour ago)for my vitals but, they sent out the BIG bouncer Nurse to tell me that they hadnt !! Oh hell no ! I left !MY TIME IS VALUABLE TOO !! Could have done without this !! Oh, this isnt the first time I had to wait over a hour . MENTAL HEALTH HELP ? I question their ability....

Its been a week and my childs refill still hasnt been sent to the pharmacy. Ive called every day and spoke with a nurse. First I called and left a message on the Medline and no one ever even called me back. They can seem to never get ahold of the doctor. Every month I have the same problem.

Not only were the doctors and the staff cold, but my counselor for my PTSD was late or double booked me for appointment MULTIPLE times. Its hard to form a trust and a bond with someone when they are consistently late for appointments, and might I mention it wasnt 5-10 minutes late it was always a half an hour or more, and then we would be billed for a full hour of service.

This place deserves the lowest rating possible. Id absolutely give it zero if i could. As doctors, how can you be so heartless. Not only was there an hour and 15 min wait, but the doctor had the nerve to say he didnt have time to listen to his patients needs. You prescribe meds to mentally ill but want to tear them down at the same time? What a joke you are. Im beyond disgusted and hope no one EVER gives your office the time of day. Find a new career if you cant actually care for your patients.

The girls at the desk are polite, but most of the staff is very rude. Dr. Dahar is very rude, acts like he doesn’t actually care about your problems, and is ALWAYS late. I’ve come with my friend very many times and we always get stuck waiting for at LEAST an hour.

The wait is too long. Expect 1 to 2 hours. Also the new NP is in the pocket of the drug reps to get his bonus. Changed my meds to basically benadryl as needed and a $500/ month antidepressant. What a joke. I could get th as t from my regular doctor.

Would recommend ANY other place before Access. Access is certainly a misleading name since I waited 3 weeks to be seen for intake??! Called daily with no answers but to ‘call back’ the next day. Waste of my time and more importantly my HOPE.

Ive been going there about 1 year or so so far and I was seeing a tharapist for about 6 months. I just kind of stopped going on my own she was very nice and I felt she cared about my problems. But now I just see a nurse and Dr D. He is always late and never talks about anything but he is very busy has a lot of patients. So far he has me on the right meds and I be asked for higher mgs. On my meds and he raised almost all of them. The nurses listen to me and always check my vitals and see if I need any other meds. Im pretty satisfied with everybody there just they run about an hour late. I would recommend access counciling to others. They also have opened a new facility.

My name is Ashley they have taken away the medication that has kept me stable and my panic attacks under control. They switched it to another Benzo but it’s not working it’s worse to say the least.i have made several calls to the nurse med mines and they tell me to go to the hospital! Is this some sort of joke?! The hospital tells me to get with my physiatrist. I’m mean I have quit my job I haven’t left my apartment I don’t have transportation to get to access unless I schedule it 48 hours in advance. This medication isn’t working. I’ve been going there almost a year and you would think they would know me well enough by now that I am not lying and I need some help. I have to take a sleeping medication wich is beginning not to work. The only time I am okay is if I am asleep yes I told them but nothing has been done. I trusted them. I really thought I had great care. Now I’m very much beginning to doubt that they care at all. I’m not a heroin addict I’m. Not using illicit street drugs but when my medication was switched my doctor made a comment about how bad this area is for drugs and heroin. Well I’m not one of those people. I thought I was safe I though I could trust them but this is ridiculous. I need a recommendation to another doctor because I don’t feel they will help me. I took the meds as prescribed when switched it I did nothing for me so it has caused me to take more to try to get some sort of relief and they could care less. What am I supposed to do? I trusted these people but my m beginning to realize they can’t be trusted. I suffer from anxiety ptsd depression and I have quit my job not left my bedroom I have called and told them and they do not bother to help me. I don’t do heroin. I’m a mess. I just need them to help me how do I get them to listen.

How do you even get to speak with the Client Rights Officer? I tried to send an e-mail from their website and it was returned (address not available). I have had many legitimate issues lately and need to voice my concerns. I have left a message for the CRO in December, she did not even return my call. She had the person I had an issue with call me. That was very unprofessional. I call the office, I have to send every message through MEDLINE. They never return calls, I found that out when Dr. Baula left and I was having issues with my medications. Never a return call or no call to let me know there could be/or is an issue.I guess because I am a mental health patient, I do not deserve the respect that would be given to someone with a stable mind.

As this is only a story building, there is no need for an elevator. They do have wheelchair accessible restrooms, with accommodations for all genders. Special needs are the main reason for all their services. From mental issues to adult-child parent-child behavior to all Counciling needs.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. They supposedly treat mental health, but trying to get in touch with someone at that office will literally drive someone crazy! Ive been calling for 2 weeks now multiple times throughout the day to get copies of test results and schedule appointments, and I still havent been able to get through to them. Ive left messages for the front desk multiple times, tried calling the Drs line to leave a message and the mailbox is full. I even went down to the office before the time they are supposed to close which is 8 pm and they were already gone, not one car left in the parking lot. I am definitely not wasting anymore money on this place for literally nothing! Im not one to complain, but my goodness! This office is supposed to be for patients who suffer from mental health disorders which is a huge deal and cannot be taken lightly so Im confused on how they think its acceptable to go through so much trouble and aggravation just trying to get in touch with ANYONE at the office. This is DEFINITELY not ok.

I’ve been going here for PTSD and mental health treatment since 2013. Some of the complaints on here about getting ahold of the front desk are semi valid but as long as you just try again the next day, then you will get through. It’s not because they don’t care, it’s because this place is very busy now. It wasn’t as much so when I first started being a patient here.That being said, the people here DO care about your mental health. I am currently undergoing EMDR treatment with Julia P. and spent the better first few years of my time in therapy with Jeff. Both are extraordinary therapists for one big reason - they CARE about you. They are INVESTED in your mental health. The therapists here will cheer you on, encourage you, give you hard truths, and really help guide you taking a look inwards.They have group therapy here too which I found beneficial when I had time for it but I moved and my schedule just doesn’t allow for it anymore.My psychiatrist, Dr. Dahar, can come off as sort of callous at first but he really is a nice person, once you get to know him, that cares about his patients. I think he is just a very straightforward person. Be straight with him and he will be straight with you.I’m still a work in progress but if it weren’t for Access Counseling, I don’t know what kind of person I would be today. They have truly helped me grow in ways I never thought I needed to 6-7 years ago.

My son has been without his medication for 3 days now I have left numerous messages on the nurses line I have called the front desk they tell me they can’t do anything I ask to speak with the doctor and they say he is busy so it’s friday my son will be goin all weekend with no medication thank god it’s nothing he has to be weened off of this place really sucks I really just don’t know what to say but we will no longer go here I will take him someplace else

This place is a joke! My daughter had a real psychiatrist for some time and they leave their practice. Then you back to square one with practitioners with no experience. Ive got 23 years experience with my daughters condition. These idiots have taken away her medication that works for her. She is an adult now. They dont listen to her. They treat her like all these opiod addicts in Ohio! She always passes a drug test she has to take. Humiliating for people like her! They need to be shut down! And you wonder why there are shootings! Makes me worry for her to go there! Ohio needs to get in check of this ongoing problem!!!!!!!!

They care about their patients and staff. The practice wants to really make a brighter future for all who enter their doors.

My daughter had a scheduled appointment today and they are closed! Shes waited all month and is about out of meds!

All I can say is absolutely wonderful .

I went into their office back in April of 2018 requesting my seven-year-old son desperately needs assistance and help with school with behavior with his ADHD they said they would get back with me in 2 weeks I have called every two weeks since April and they claim they have no place for my son for him an appointment if I didnt call them they would not even attempt to call us

They always mess up the time we are supposed to be here and we wait for forever too see the Dr and when forms are need for the school they have mess those up more than once if there was a better option in my area I would change places
