In all fairness… your team was assigned a task.Your team failed. Why ? In the world would I or should I have paid in full?The reason the equipment was located at my house longer than needed was first 2 days equipment was placed in the wrong location, I was charged for the lack of your team doing the “fairness” job.Your manager/supervisor showed up with uncharged tools, went out to his truck 3 times all batteries dead and ended up using my tools to do his job. Seems fair so far that was I charged again?Then your team again failed at being able to write an invoices correctly the first time, failed to be able to explain itemized break down. You customer successfully explained to them the disaster, successfully asked the right question, and successfully got the invoice done correctly. Seems fair again I guess?If I was working on your car, installed wrong parts, then didn’t have tools, but charged you for the labor of getting/installing wrong parts and going to buy the right tools… how would you feel? Do you think that is fair? Do you think that is proper leadership? My mind what you and your leadership team showed everyone and myself, is lack of accountability and lack of leadership is still the customer’s responsibility and problem. Absolutely trash…

First, this review is definitely for the Middletown office- this is what it says on my bill/contract even though my husband says he called a different location to initially ask for an estimate. We have used Servpro in the past for similar work in one of our homes in the Cleveland area and those experiences were top notch, so it definitely matters about franchise leadership vs branding of company name.We used Servpro in early June 2020 after a seal around an outside-entering pipe in our basement failed during the 100-year rains in May. My husband was the main communicator with this scheduling and project oversight since it was my busy time at work. He doesn’t read reviews beforehand like I do; I wish he had.On the day the team arrived, the lead person came in with a mask on to review the scope of the work which was very detailed and itemized on our quote. As we were discussing this, a crew of about 6 remaining people come walking into my basement with no masks on! They didn’t even have them around their necks just not on. When I interrupted my conversation with the lead person to say loudly “STOP!” And put up my hand gesturing stop, they did comply, but when I questioned about the masks, there was a brief moment of silence it seemed and they all looked at the female team lead and then she said in more of a questioning tone looking at her crew “sure, we have masks to wear, right?” This was very concerning to me because I have many risk factors and to just come into my basement without masks and assuming it was okay was very much NOT okay with me and not appreciated.The crew seemed nice overall on demo day, but I also didn’t appreciate that some of them left used cigarette butts in my driveway. It’s bad enough this is poor job site etiquette during non-COVID times, but during a pandemic, REALLY?! After you hear me say I have risk factors during the earlier mask episode? Who do you think was going to have to clean up your mess? C’mon man!There was LOTS of confusion and missed items of work that were supposed to be done that were listed in writing in the agreed upon scope of work contract. This resulted in multiple phone calls back and forth (some due to non-responsiveness) that really shouldn’t be necessary. I feel badly for the front office staff who have to constantly deal with these issues that seem to be common based upon other reviews. Once we severed the contract and switched to a much better company (Dry Effects), my husband still had to call a few times to have charges removed from our final bill for work that was never completed.

Overview: Technicians seem competent, but office staff does not have their act together.This review is specifically for the Middletown/Springboro location. We had water damage in our kitchen, which resulted in mold growing behind our cabinets and in the wall. A friend recommended ServPro after good interactions with them in Kentucky, and I gave this location a call. Matt came out, and was very thorough in his assessment and estimation. He was very professional.Unfortunately, I did not have the same interaction with the office staff. The office staff was disorganized, and we had to call in twice to get our house on the list for mold removal. On the day that Matt was supposed to come out and do mold removal, he was ill. No one in the office called us to inform us. When I called in to find out what was going on, I was informed that we were not on the list for the day. When I informed them that we indeed were, they had to check the planner of another member of the office staff, where they discovered that I was actually on the (paper) list kept by the other staff member. We tentatively rescheduled, and I reached out to another company for a quote.The following week, I called in to ask a question, got ahold of someone in the call center, and did not get a response for three days. When they finally called me back, they had no clue why I was calling, in spite of the call center taking down information for me. I decided to cancel with ServPro, and used the other contractor instead.

DO NOT USE SERVPRO OF MIDDLETOWN!They are extremely rude very complicated to work with .It took me 4 days to get scheduled with them and then on the day they was supposed to come out at 10:00 am they did not show up I called the receptionist back to ask what’s going on but she struggled for an answer .very unprofessional but they have pro in their name ..dry patrol got me together though .

The crew was top-notch they worked with their all at my home to clean my kitchen’s ceiling, walls and floors that had become severely dark because of cooking oil smoke. DO NOT USE!! I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH. Suggest using a competitor.Update: Although Servpro indicated they would help with Insurance side of things, they filed a lawsuit for payment anyway. Yes, literally a lawsuit filed with Middletown Municipal Court for a payment that was never in dispute and had been in active discussions with their leadership on helping to resolve with the insurance company. Never was there a discussion or an e-mail or a phone call about this until we received the summons in the mail through registered letter. If you dont want this headache, I suggest using an alternative provider.Did a great job with the fixes and we had an issue with who was responsible for paying (condo association vs our insurance) and they jumped on it to help with ensuring that it was handled.

Would definitely recommend to anyone who had anywhere from an accident to a disaster happening in their home or residence. Also heard from a few of their workers that they sent people from Ohio down to help out in Florida when the hurricane ravaged the area so I want to thank them for all of their efforts across the country.

Highly recommended. We contacted a few other companies to get quotes prior to finding Servpro and most of them wouldnt even answer their phones or call us back. However, we were very happy with Servpro from start to finish. We had a decent amount of damage in our basement from a burst pipe which required many steps to fix. We met with Jesse first and went over multiple options and pricing so we could pick what we wanted to do. We never felt pressured to do more or unnecessary work. Jesse was a great point of contact throughout the whole project and kept us informed. All of the crews were very polite and took pride in their work, the room that was fixed went from a nightmare to one of my favorite rooms in the house. Bonus points for the final price being quite a bit lower than the original quote! Hopefully we never have to use them again for the same reason, but we will definitely use them again for any other remodels.

Schedule a mold inspection from 8-10am. I was informed at 8:30, they would be a no show. Reschedule for 8-10am on Thursday, and again they were a no show with no notice this time. I have a full time job and cant keep using my PTO for this, will look for a more professional business to give my money too.

I couldn’t believe how fast they came out. Our basement flooded. We were obviously upset about the damage. The operations manager, Jesse, came to our home and helped us in a difficult situation. His calm friendly demeanor and knowledge and explanation of how they were going to help us get our lives back in order. Very unreliable and inconsistent, poor communication between the various employees that worked there which even led to some of the workers openly mocking the woman at the main office and making jokes about how she always screws things up. I had a pipe burst in my house while I was on vacation which caused severe damage and required us to move. Servpro was brought in to do some of the cleanup, and then to pack up the contents of the house and move it out. Since they were clearly making money on each box and sheet of packaging paper they used, they used 2-3x as much as was necessary. This made it much more difficult to unpack since we were drowning in packaging paper. When we moved to our new house and I pulled our dining room set out of the basement, I noticed that one of the arms on our chairs had been snapped off. Someone attempted to glue it back together and used large rubber bands to hold it in place. I called to complain and they stated that on their inventory list it was marked as cracked so they didnt do it. This is ridiculous because we could see the dried glue on there and the bands holding it to keep it from falling apart. My theory is the moving company they contracted for the move broke it (half of whom looked like heroine addicts) and they were covering up for them. While our stuff was being moved into the house we even heard the Servpro rep yelling at one of the movers in another room for being too rough when he was having a difficult time assembling a bed and getting frustrated. I would certainly NOT use this Servpro location again. Incredibly dysfunctional group of employees, and it wasnt even the damage that bothered me. They had no interest in making it right when it was pointed out what had occurred.

Servpro is an excellent restoration company. I have had to work on jobs before that were previously cleaned up by Servpro. By the time I got to the job sites you could never tell that there had been a flood issue. The walls were clean and there was no mildew or mold. I would highly recommend Servpro to anyone in need of restoration services.

Poor experience with Servpro Middletown. Poor business practice, couldnt get written quote or estimate on work after several requests. Unfortunately I relied on a verbal quote, then received a non detailed bill with only an invoice amount that was $653 more than the verbal quote. I asked for detailed statements, called multiple times and was promised call backs multiple times. Finally today I was called and threatened with the legal deparment unless I paid the invoiced amount today. Very disappointed.

While Servpro in general, as a nationwide company, Im sure is a great company, this particular location has some work to do in how it communicates with clients. Initial clean up of water damaged carpet was fast and awesome! I was really happy with and appreciative of how quickly and efficiently they were able to get rid of the foul-smelling basement carpet. They even came out on New Years weekend for it. The hang-up came at the end with many miscommunications and a lot of getting passed around between people who either were telling me they were just the messenger but not getting me through to someone who could help me, or people who were just not responding until it was convenient for them. Despite my attempts at trying to clear up the miscommunication via phone and email, it seemed difficult for the office staff to understand what I was trying to tell them and they assumed I was just not cooperating. The office management does not seem well organized at all, ended up causing significant aggravation, and left a very poor impression on a job that started so well. The actual restoration by Servpro was fantastic, but if you dont want an additional headache on top of the fact that youre having to use a restoration company in the first place, I would strongly caution those who would go to this particular location/branch.
