I came in with a faulty charging port due to packed in pocket lint, I didnt have the tools to clean it myself. After looking at my phone the technician took 5 minutes to clean it out. Instead of replacing the port as I thought I would have to. They were very informative and helpful and the least I could do for this pleasant experience was to leave a wonderful review for them! Will definitely be returning if I have any more issues.

I went to get my phone fix the employee told what the problem I was having, he then took it to get it fix. It only took him a couple minutes for my phone get fix. The price for my fix was decently priced.

Broke my samsung s20+ screen and went in to get it fixed... unfortunately its a 2hr process and I didnt show up til almost 6pm and they close at 7pm. But I was able to set up an appointment and get it fixed that same day I took my phone in for the appointment. Screen and phone feels just like the day I got it. Saved me at least half of what I wouldve had to pay for a new phone! Will definitely let everyone know if they need their phones fixed to take it there!

The team members who assisted me today were fabulous. I had severely smashed the glass screen on my phone. They assisted me in a friendly, courteous manner and did the necessary repair. Now my phone looks and works as good as new. The price was very good as well.

I am very unhappy with my experience with uBreakIFix. My Pixelbook was restarting itself every few minutes, and Id tried everything I knew how to do -- including reinstalling the operating system. I sent the computer in, and after a week and a half, they called back to tell me the operating system had to be reinstalled. No, Id done that, I told them, it was still restarting itself. Long story short, they reinstalled the operating system and then reported they couldnt repeat the problem. They charged me $90, shipped the laptop back, and -- what do you know? -- the computer still restarts itself after 5 minutes. So they were worse than useless: they charged me $90 for something I knew perfectly well HOW TO DO MYSELF. Will never recommend this service to anyone.

I was assigned this location, through my T-Mobile insurance, to fix my iPhone screen. Drove all the way out there on Friday just for the worker to tell me she never received our insurance claim and that there’s nothing to do because it’s not in her system and to wait 24 hours and they will call when they receive it. I call the next day and the girl is still telling me she hasn’t received it and to wait on her call.. but they never called. The next day is Sunday and the store is closed so I can’t fix my phone. I call T-Mobile to ask about the insurance claim and the claim was marked “completed” by this store, even thought my phone is still cracked and now I have to go to a location in Merrillville to be serviced. I would have spared you this review if the worker would have been more friendly and less rude when talking with her.

Fixed my s8+ broken screen in 2 hours and made sure no water damage, phone looks and works great.

My phone was rejecting all charger cables. I have an android. It got to the point where I would just leave my phone dead all day because charging my phone was so frustrating. I took my phone into this store and told Casey my problem. He fixed my issue in no time and even brought my phone back out to me. Casey was also very friendly and chill which made my experience there even better. I will definitely be going back for any further issues.

Great advice and service. I had questions on my device not holding a charge they called and discussed since that it wasn’t in use for some time it just needed to be charging for longer to take a charge. There was no cost for service. I appreciated the honesty and integrity. We do need to confirm that the battery has sufficient capacity once we are able to gain access but overall satisfied.

They have saved our bacon twice now. First time, wifes PC wouldnt start, boot or anything. And it had been a while since last backup. So she was really freaked out because it looked like a LOT of school work was gone. Never really found the problem but they first recovered the hard drive just in case and the computer started working again. Since they never found an issue, no charge. Second issue was my PC wouldnt hot spot with my iPhone. I tried everything I could find on the web - to no avail. So I went in to my local store again. They spent at least 20 minutes with me and got it resolved. Again no charge. What can I say. The Michigan City Indiana location is tops for customer service.

My iPhone 7 would not charge. I brought it in and Alex confirmed it was not a charging cord issue. He quoted $60 if it needed a new battery and $80 if the charging port needed to be replaced. He put in a new charging port and it worked... but took the time to put my old one back in since it didn’t appear to be damaged. Violá- it worked ! Walked in and women behind the counter did not explain process very well and was rude and short! Told me we had to sanitize my tablet then do work order. So she put it in this ultraviolet light box and walked away to the back room. Didnt tell me how long it would take. After 15 to 20 mins my husband came in and asked for some assistance out front and long story short we took the tablet and left!! Will never do business with them ever!!!

I took my iphone in for a cracked screen, everything went fine but when I got it home, I noticed it wasnt registering my touch, it was clicking the wrong spot, freeze, etc. NONE of this was happening before my phones screen was replaced.I go back to have it dealt with and dude at the counter tried to mansplain to me for about 20 min that it was MY fault that the phone is acting up. THEN he finally is ready to take it back to change the screen and sees that I had insurance. I was told I had to go back through the insurance, and they can not doing anything about it.Not sure why he didnt see that when he first opened my file? BIG waste of time. And now I have to get a new phone.

The service from the moment I called on the phone to ask the hours of operation, till the time I paid my bill and left with my new phone was outstanding! I got a call if not multiple daily on the progress of my phone. They told me everything in detail and even took pictures for me to see the exact damage. They followed up with me and even gave a great deal for as many issues I had with the phone that needed fixed. I couldnt have asked for better service! Patrick up front was great, super friendly, and a genuine good guy on the phone! With that being said the manager Sarah was right along side him helping him through the process and teaching him the ways. Im visiting my sister as usual and I broke my Samsung Note 9 screen! This I believe was due to a faulty case that was supposed to protect it! I have more problems with my computer now then when I took it in to get fixed. They took it apart and next thing you know my computer lags so much which it never did before, it has a hard time connecting to WiFi again never had any problems. Took it to these guys and one guy there “worked” for simply Mac and I see why he doesn’t any more. This place is a joke

I severely crushed my iPhone 7 screen about eight months ago. I called Sprint and they informed me that it would take $200 and a month to fix it, so I left it in my dresser drawer and reactivated my old phone. Then, the other day, I saw an article in the NewsDispatch about uBreakiFix and decided to give them a shot.The customer service was excellent. Everyone I interacted with in the store was extremely nice, helpful, and clearly explained the entire process. Needless to say, less than 24 hours later and my iPhone was fixed for $100, half what Sprint wanted to charge. Went in for a google pixel 3 repair. The cracked screen wasnt under googles warranty if it is caused by accidental damage (I wasnt sure how I cracked it). They noticed that the battery had expanded and that may have caused the screen to crack. So thanks to them, Im getting a replacement under warranty instead of paying ~$100 for a cracked screen fix.Thank you!!

Made a appointment and drove a hour and half to be told they are sorry and don’t have the parts the said they did. To the businesses reply..I understand the Samsung warranty thing but don’t try redirecting the real issue here. I talked to someone the day before and they confirmed they had a black peice in and could do the repair. They scheduled a appointment and I even got a email confirmation. I wasted a total of 3 hrs driving and wasted 30$ on gas. The business did nothing to make this right to me when this part was on them.

First things first, 100% i would recommend this place to anyone in need of repair. They went above and beyond and the repair is perfect. Samsung makes them run a bunch of tests before the phone is sent back out, so the peace of mind is there too.Heres a little (kinda lengthy, in depth),autobiography of my experience. This was an ordeal. My LCD needed for my Galaxy S7 needed replaced because...I am the reason I cant have nice things. I took it on Monday afternoon for what was supposed to be a 2 hour repair. I get the call and apparently their screen was detective so they ordered a new one and I waited until Friday.My life is Murpheys law. My phone factory reset so I had to go in to give them my login info for my Google account and from there it was supposed to take an hour. Their testing computer was acting up (not their fault) so it ended up taking 3 hours. BUT, (I remember no ones names because I have the memory of a goldfish) the guy was super apologetic and I go to a college that is a little difficult when it comes to being off campus. The guy knew that and was constantly telling me if school gave me any problems that they would 100% vouch for me and just all in all I felt like my time mattered to them. It wasnt just they were slacking off and didnt care to get my phone back to me.I get the phone back and everything is amazing. 4 months prior I had a screen and battery replacement done at a Batteries+ in PA and they changed the screen to a flat black and not the original pearlescent black and the back cover of the phone was adhered so poorly. Bringing it to ubreakifix, the screen is the pearlescent type black ( which I love because...pretty) and they completely replaced my back cover with a new one. One of the guys said the back is normally hard to get off and they have to apply heat. Without the heat mine came off like butter thanks to the shoddy job by Batteries+. Even with the back screen replacement my price didnt go up.So all in all, Im so pleased with how I was treated. The customer service is fantastic, my phone looks and works great, and i have a year long warranty. So Im very very happy.

I stopped in store assuming no one would be able to fix my son’s very damaged iPad screen. I had been told multiple times by different places it was not fixable and just to replace it. I held onto hoping one day I would find someone who would able to. Well, walking into the store the young lady working was fantastic. She explained if they don’t fix it or I’m not 100% satisfied I don’t have to pay. It was fixed absolutely perfect and the two gentleman working on it called me to update me duringthe couple days it was there. Then, they said it was ready for pick up but called me back shortly after to tell me they found a small glitch and could they keep it s little longer because they want it perfect (absolutely, I thought). I was so impressed, the iPad is perfect customer service was excellent and I have a very happy little guy. I was so impressed by everyone at the store. I highly recommend uBreakifix.

First off, I just wanna say these guys are great!So heres what happened.... I was caught outside in a sudden downpour while using my ancient 6/7th Gen iPod Classic. Needless to say it sustained some bad water damage that rice did not fix... so, not wanting to go alllll the way to South Bend to the Apple Store (where Id get WAY over-charged anyway), I did a quick Google search for electronic repair services nearby. Among my search results was UBreakIFix in Michigan City. Their website is so easy to navigate and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day directly from the website! My inner anti-social self rejoiced! A couple hours later they called me to confirm the appointment and get some more info on what exactly was wrong with my iPod. THEY actually called me, it wasnt an automated call! So the next day, I took my iPod in to the guys at UBreakIFix and they did a quick FREE diagnostic to make sure it was in fact water damage. They gave me a quote on a repair (basically all there is to do for that specific issue is to open it up and clean the guts really well and hope for the best) and told me when I could expect to hear from them (24-48 hours).Alas, my iPod could not be saved by a simple cleaning as the motherboard has shorted out and to replace that would cost as much as just buying a refurbished replacement. BUT they COULD do that work if I were willing to pay for it over buying a different iPod altogether. I opted out of that repair and was amazed to find out that I owed them nothing! Apparently if their repair does not work to fix your device, you do not get charged! I was floored!Now about the customer service.... it was phenomenal! I was mainly helped by Patrick V., one of the techs there. And he was so genuinely friendly he was a joy to talk to. And whats more, it is easy to see he really has a passion for what he does, fixing electronics, so you know his work is of great quality. He was so knowledgeable and explained things so well even a luddite like me could understand what he was talking about.10/10 will definitely be back!
