I felt mislead.I was upgrading the hard drive on my laptop and decided to up the RAM as well. I ventured out to ComputerPros to pick up parts. I expected an upcharge, but its a local business.I traded in my two older 4gb RAM sticks for 2 8gb RAM sticks.Upon installing the sticks, one was defective.I noticed it was not only different from the other stick, but it was a bit marred up and had an Replace with HP Spare label.Now, Im not unaware when it comes to computers, and that alone screams it came from the parts bin.I came in to exchange and was told that theyll be getting in an order and to come back.I came back, and while they were able to exchange the defective stick, I could not get an explanation on how I was given a used part for a new price.They swore up and down its new and thats how the vendor sent it.So, is it from a used vendor? I cant understand how Im supposed to believe that they bought new RAM sticks to stock that have an HP replacement label on it.So for reference, the sticks I needed are $45 on Amazon. I understand an upcharge, again, its a small business.However, I feel very mislead. And they took my money and said, oh well, thats how it is.

I brought my PC in to see if it could be fixed and decided to buy a refurbished newer PC instead. It was thought my hard drive went out and since it was pretty old and the cost would be about what one of the refurbished ones cost just made more sense to trade for something better.

Worst experience I probably had with any business. Most unprofessional employees. They kept lying on the status of my computer. They said that they understood Macs and yet after two months they didn’t even know what was wrong. I spent two hundred dollars (120-30 of parts and the rest labor) and they didn’t even refund me for a poor job done. Every week they told me we will call you and never once in two months got a call back. Go spend your money somewhere else.

Hard drive went out on my work laptop and I brought in here to get repaired. Very knowledgeable and friendly! He upgraded me to a solid state drive and had the repair done the same day! Highly recommend them for your computer needs!

Computer Pros has been servicing my computers for years and I cant give them enough praise. Andy just repaired my 4 year old Dell computer which had a bad hard drive. Our parts are guaranteed with warranty. The 1 star reviews are mostly because they dont want to pay for labor. They only want to pay for a part and the rest is free... Thats like going to a mechanic, buying a engine and them putting it in for free.. 👍Best computer store around! Stop in!

I went here to see if I can get a iMac repaired that was basically destroyed. And I bought it on eBay knowing that things needed to be fixed. So I got it for a good price. Current thoughtsGood, with some negatives that might not even be their fault.Things I have purchased-Good:1. My PC from them is very good. Its not fancy, but it does what it needs to do. Runs exactly how I wanted it when I explained what I was looking for. It is also up-gradable which is awesome. Very very Very Very happy with the computer.Complications: [This may or may not be on me- I dont know how everything works! It is probably me being a consumer and not giving enough clarification on what I wanted.]1. I have received a laptop battery from them before and it stopped working immediately. Mightve been the laptop? Was a long time ago.2. Used monitor I bought was more used than I thought. This was a bit on me, because buying a used monitor is what you get, but it wasnt working well at all.3. Somehow after all this time- I realized my PC tower has no HDMI port. I dont know if that is something that is never included and is something customers ask for- but I dont know why there wouldnt be at least one. Is HDMI just not on computers by default? If so, my bad. But what is there, is just like a million USB ports I dont need lol.The only reason im pressed on it is because I do Graphic/Digital artwork and bought a display graphics tablet that NEEDS and HDMI port to display.

This business is outstanding.I have purchased systems and accessories from them for many years. And I’ve had items repaired by them. I have taken items in to the store and also had them do repairs at my home. I need my computer and there turnaround time for repairs is normally a one day sometimes two at most depending on how much work they have if you take something in. Sometimes they were able to fix the problem while I waited. And they will tell you up front just exactly how long it will take. There charges are reasonable and they are just very friendly and nice to deal with.

They are very helpful on getting our new computer up and running. Had a little problem and had to go back. They showed us how to fix our problem. So we are good to go. I would recommend them to fix computer problems that you are having.

I called Computers Pro just now and asked about a specific motherboard that is listed online for $109. Mind you, I just looked on Newegg and seen that I can get the same board for $60 cheaper. He then takes me off hold and told me it would be about $160. That is about $102.01 I believe cheaper online. I am sorry but they are ripping people off. I checked out a few other parts (this includes shipping by the way) and they are all asking about $60+ more for each product.I dont know about you but I am not going to be doing business with them what so ever. Also, had a computer repaired several months ago and they didnt even do a Sub Par job and I had to take it in two more times due to the fact I didnt have the time to do it myself and should have just waited to do it myself. I then just took it to a different shop which repaired it and I DIDNT have to take it back a second time.All-In-All, NO! Not ever going back there again. I will drive to laporte before I even think about getting anymore parts there or repairs.

They sold me a new laptop that had many issues within a year. They kept replacing parts at high costs. Shortly after the last repair they claimed the laptop wasnt fixable (less than 18 mos old) & sold me another one. Within months, the new one started having problems. I received not one, but two new faulty parts $$$. I was told they were putting in NEW parts. I complained to the owner to no avail. Took laptop elsewhere & discovered that the used parts were to blame. This new establishment has found several MAJOR parts Computer Pros installed were either used, faulty &/or improper (so that the laptop would seem to be repaired but would continue to cause problems later). Ive spent a small fortune on so-called repairs/labor at Computer Pros, Ive also now spent another small fortune having to replace all the used/faulty parts. Much more than the original cost of the laptop. They sold me two laptops & a ton in repairs & labor. All this knowing Im a disabled person on a very fixed income. Im out more than the cost of the two laptops combined because I trusted them. Dont make the same mistake!
