Really appreciated the almost next day service! Jim was very kind and very helpful to know what time he was to arrive. He arrived at that time. He had the repair part in his truck for the washer. This was important for me to have the quick repair. He provided the preventative maintenance information that I asked him for. Thank you, Jim I highly recommend this service and the service call reminders .

Getting the parts delivered to our home after they were delivered was the biggest problem of the repair process! Service tech was on time and was able to make repairs and get us back in operation quickly. Happy with the repair part of the process!

The Technician that came to make the repairs once the parts were received was excellent. The process of scheduling for the repair was horrible. It took ten days for them to come out and diagnose. Once it was diagnosed, on Dec. 7, parts were ordered and I was given another appointment 12 days away, Dec. 19. Parts were there within less than a week. But I waited for my scheduled appointment. Made sure I was home between 8 am - noon. However, no repairman showed up by noon. When I called in I was informed they had re-scheduled me for another ten days out (Dec. 29) because they said the parts werent there. I said the parts were there. (No one had called me to ask so I assumed they had tracking and knew the parts arrived. I then checked email and discovered they sent a message the night before asking me to call in...different phone number...need to keep for next time.) Fortunately, they were able to get me a repairman out on that day. The repairman told me I was very lucky my parts came so quickly as he had another client who had been waiting on their parts for over a month. I considered myself very luck at that point! My compressor was out (refrigerator is Kenmore Elite and only 17 months old made by LG). They had ordered condenser, drier assembly and compressor. Only the compressor was needed and the other parts went back with repairman. The calls to the phone number for scheduling is a mess. I did have the service plan so I was referred to Benefits department. They were very helpful and I am now waiting on my reimbursement for lost food and refrigerator rental. There should be a much faster and easier way to get repairs scheduled, particularly when one pays for the service plan. I usually dont buy the plan but it worked out for me this time.

Sucks didnt fix dryer. Waited a week for repair and not fixed, same problem. Someone coming today to dix. Seven people in house went to laundry mat and it better get fixed this time. never had problem like this in 21 years. Always fixed or replaced right away. Very disappointed.

The Sears repairman arrived promptly for the appointment. He checked the front-load washing machine thoroughly, but could find no cause for the water leak. After inspecting the area, he noticed a small amount of water dripping for a pipe at the bottom of our utility sink. He advised us to have this checked out by a plumber. He was helpful and considerate. We would give him an A for his service.

I feel your labor charges are way to high. When the part cost 57.00 and it only took 15 minutes to install. I can see 157.00 but not 274.00 Really Disappointed. :>(

The repairman was prompt, professional, and went about his work so quietly that I almost forgot he was here. The dishwasher is working so well--as if it were new!I think that if I hadnt had the contract with Sears, I would have remained unaware that my dishwasher needed repair--until eventually, it just died.Thank you for fine service!

Repairman was on time and very efficient - exceeded my expectations. He dismantled the dishwasher and put it back together with cleaned parts. He improved the flow of hot water, and the cycle is no longer stuck. The dishes are not spotted and shine. I am pleased to discover that the dishwasher is not dying, as I had suspected, but is renewed.

Our tech, Calvin always does a great job. Hes very discerning and thorough. He determined that our freezer needed a new fan motor, called around to find one, went and got it and returned to install it. The freezer is running nice and quiet now.

My service man was my knight in shining armor. He worked steadily under less than ideal circumstances - he was very pleasant and thorough. I couldnt believe that I could schedule next day service and get 20% off my bill with the emailed coupon. Sears Home Repair is # 1 in my book. My fridge & freezer are working just fine and I really want to thank him again for all his hard work. He definitely made my day! Definitely 5 Golden Stars!

The technicians that came to install the washer customer interface (Start button) informed me the problem was initially misdiagnosed. Luckily, they had the correct part on the service truck and were able to repair the machine quickly and effectively. A correct first assessment may have prevented an additional week of washing machine downtime. Five Stars for the second team of service technicians that did the work right!

I am very pleased with the service provided. My refrigerator does not leak anymore. They even turned the water supply to the fridge back on. When my ice maker failed to produce any ice, I feared they had done something wrong but I just needed to flip a switch to turn the icemaker on.

This was the third visit of service for my ride on lawn mower that I bought last September from Darien outlet store. The serviceman that came the third time which was a new serviceman, said there was no reason that causes my battery to die so he replaced it. He thinks maybe it was a defective battery. This is the third battery that they replaced on this lawn mower and hes trying to tell me theres nothing shorting it out! I dont believe him. He was very condescending. I told him the last serviceman came and replace the axle on the lawn mower and when he tried to start it the battery was dead so he gave me a brand new battery. This service man told me he replaced the transmission. I said well he didnt call the transmission he called it an axle, and he said well, theyre the same thing. I dont believe you him.IllIn a couple weeks when my battery is dead again and I will call for service so please dont send this last repairman back to me!Thank you.

Its a shame that Sears charges for coming out to do a physical assessment @ $109 and then when they come out to do the repairs once the parts come in to your home, they charge $109 again!!! The initial call we were charged $109 and obviously, the problem that happened a week after they left was not detected. To spend $327 on just service calls in three weeks (it took a week each time for parts to come in and then for them to schedule the actual repair is an aggregious problem!!! No wonder Sears is closing everywhere!! The service tech was very professional and did a great job cleaning after making repairs. I wouldve given them a four stars because of that alone!

The gentleman was nice, but he had to come out 3 times. The first time he came out, he looked at the disposal, and said we needed a new part. The part came in within a week, so he came out to fix the disposal. When he was here, he said he didnt have a tool to get a part off, so he said he would come back. A couple days later, he was back saying that he was going to replace the entire garbage disposal. After many phone calls of rescheduling, he dropped off the new disposal and my husband installed it. There was very poor communication. After I asked for his number, I had to initiate all of the phone calls and remind him to come or when I was going to be home. He was very apologetic, but did not come at the scheduled times. In the end my husband had to install the part.

I had my tractor mower serviced. They were on time and did a great job checking everything to find my problem and fixed it, which was a minor item, but working great now. They made sure everything was cleaned up and running smooth. I would recommend them to friends & family and definitely will call them again when I need help.

It cost less than I thought it would and he did a great job getting rid of all the built-up lint in the dryer. Turns out there had been a fire and we didnt know it. Very dangerous - could have burned the house down. We were home and shut it off as soon as we smelled something like a motor overheating (hubby thought it smelled like burning rubber). So the fire was contained to the dryer. (If your clothes smell smoky when you take them out, there is a fire inside there that you cant see until it spreads outside the dryer.)

It took 5 weeks to get our refrigerator repaired. We had to wait 10 days for the first appointment. Serviceman was an hour late and didnt call. They had to order parts and made an appointment for 10 days away so parts could arrive. One part didnt arrive by the second appointment date so we couldnt schedule another service call until the part arrived. We called when the part finally arrived and had to wait another 10 days for them to come out. I will not use Sears again. Very disappointed with their service.

Between 2 repairs & 4 visits for the exact same problem my family of 5 has had a total of 34 days without a working refrigerator. Sears has neither apoligized for the inconvience nor offered reimbursement for the spoiled food we had to throw out. Since the underlying problem has still not been addressed by the technicians Im certain the fridge will break within the next 3weeks.

I had to wait over 10 days for an apt because I had sears protection agreement while a cash appointment waited only 2 days.When the technician finally came out 2 parts had to be ordered and my next apt I was given was 2 wks out but I got lucky that I was given a sooner apt due to cancellation. And after putting those parts in another one had to be ordered again with a wait time of 2 wks to install the part and this time I didn’t get a sooner apt on the first call attempt. The agent Transferred me to the protection agreement department to complain about the 6 wk wait for repair with having the protection agreement and they hung up on me and never called back. This new timeframefor appointment scheduling will make me cancel my protection plan after 15 yrs. I should not have to wait 10 days to 2 wks for any appointment esp when I found out by attempting to schedule online that cash appointments are given priority. And by the way appointments for protection agreement CANT be scheduled online so stop referring me to online scheduling!!!!!

My repair man was scheduled to be at my home between 8-12. At 11:30 a.m. I called Customer service to see where he was and they said that he was running late and would be at my home between 1-3 p.m. The customer service Representative asked for my cell phone so that the Repair Man could call me before he would arrive. I did not receive a phone call and he showed up at 1 pm. Very disappointing that I was not notified earlier in the day that he was running late.

I have just scheduled my 4th service call for our Kitchen Aid dishwasher. --in 1 month.On the first visit- I would have given them 5 stars, the technician was on time and knowledgeable...but the dishwasher stopped in the middle of the 1st load right after he left-- I gave 4 stars because the technician Hasnt fixed the issue- I know its not his fault and its not feasible for him to atay for a whole cycle....imaybe its Kitchenaid in need to rate a 1-- overall sears is easy to schedule, the text updates are awesome. And the technician was friendly and seemed knowledgeable...its not Sears fault this dishwasher is junk--- thank goodness for the guaranteed service so I dont have to pay service call each time!

The repairman at my house was friendly and did the job, however, in spite of my telling call center what he needed to bring to fix (for the second trip), no parts were sent with him ... thus the parts I said were needed to the call center, had to be ordered by the repairman, AND yet another trip for the repair was needed. Not the repairmans fault!
