I cant say enough about Captain Jay. He picked me up in 20 minutes got me to the ramp super quick. When I dropped my glasses in the water at the ramp he gave me a mask and snorkel to find them. Do you need help hes the guy to call.

On Saturday Sep. 25 our boat had engine failure. TowBoat US got the job done.Thank you again to Capt. Oscar Claros! He was there 30 minutes before the estimated time, from afar we could see he came straight to our boat. We have an older model 27ft heavy craft and he had no trouble hitching or docking us at the marina. The service was very quick and the captain definitely made this bad situation much less stressful for us.

I recently purchased an older sailboat and after Stripping the sails in prep for Tropical Storm Elsa, my engine died, and had to drop anchor to avoid crashing into the dock or another boat. Jay the Captain from Towboat, arrived, and took the situation in hand. He assessed the situation, immediately securing my boat, and then he proceeded to help me clear my emergency anchor as it had become entangled. He spent a great deal of time and effort, going far above and beyond! He is a professional and I would recommend him and towboat to anyone who reads this. If you have a boat in Miami, I hope that you never find yourself in a similar situation, but if you do, I hope that Capt Jay comes to the rescue!

After we ran out boat aground just south of Fisher Island, we called TowBoatUS to help us. They dispatched Captain Mike Black, and he rushed to try to pull us out before the tide got too low but it was just dropping way too fast so we were forced to wait it out. Ultimately, he stuck around and waited as long as he could for the tide to rise again. He got dispatched to a few other calls in between but kept calling to check on us periodically. It started to get late and his shift was ending, so Captain Mike Black came by one last time to check on us and introduce us to Captain Chris, who would be taking care of us going forward. A short while later, when Captain Chris arrived, the tide had come up and he was able to get us out.Excellent response time, communication and customer service. Both Captains deserve recognition. I called this morning around 6am to get help with my sunk boat. The guy flat out didnt want to help. He told me Capt Brents would call me for a price.Them some guy shows up and asks me for ny insurance. I call the office avain and they say dont let them touch your boat they are on the way.What a confusing experience under an already stressful start to my day.

Captain Jay provided a very stress-free towing experience when we were mid-ocean. He was proffesional and punctual. We didn’t have to worry about anything.

Beyond professional and helpful staff. Helped use unhook our boat, get the damaged vessel to the marina, and waited longer than expected to ensure we were all set. Jay in particular was the key to getting us where we needed and providing top notch customer service.

I feel ripped off. We call Towboat. The guy shows up tells me it’s $650 for a tow then says his friend can do it a little cheaper. Then another guy calls me and tellsn me he can tow us for $500 cash. 40 minutes later an orange response boat shows up. I guess Kick backs are in every business.

Had an unforeseen issue on the water, called another company but they were 2 hours out.Luckily, we spotted a tow boat passing by and was able to hail them.Captain Jay was straightforward and professional, had a slight issue with the cage for the outboard motors scuffing the boat but we are working on getting that taken care of.

I had a bad experience yesterday at Duffys Restaurant that caused me too much money loss. The Captain charged me $3,500 up front before he did the job. He said that he would be using a water pump and floating equipment in my boat but the Captain didnt use it making my boat engine sink under water and therefore losing it. I definitely dont recommend this company.

We got a 1 hour wait estimate but Capt Jay was able to get to us in 20 minutes! He was super quick & helpful and we had absolutely no problems.

Our 33ft Carver was in need to be towed and we had no way of getting to her . Capt Jay was awesome!! He waited for us at the dock and brought us to our boat . He then helped us get the battery charged and then towed us to our Mooring ball . He even helped us tie the lines to the mooring . It was pouring like crazy but he still took us back safely to the dock . We were so thankful .

Very disappointed by the unprofessional work from the captains from towboat us Miami, me and my family and friends (16 people ) had ran out of gas during a very busy weekend in haulover and were stuck floating until we waved down captain Chris which came and offerd us a tow to the fuel dock and a 1 gallon tank of gas we assumed he was just trying to help us but before we got to the gas station he insisted that we paid $300 for a 1 gallon tank of gas we instantly declined and he then he made us pay $30 for the gas very unprofessional, I do not have a towboat us Miami membership but if I did I would definitely cancel my membership because they are only on the water to take your money, very unprofessional

Capt Jay helped us out of a bind and took us all the way back up to a safe location so we could do some quick maintenance. Added bonus he was pretty cool.

Had to use TowboatUS when my boat overheated, stopped and started taking on water. Captain Jay and his boat arrived with the Fire Dept., didnt even need to make a call. Captain Jay took charge, decided boat was no longer taking on water, calmed us down and said Ive got it, juat relax and Ill get ya back to boat ramp safely. He towed us for a couple hrs at night. Knew exactly what he was doing and as promised we got back to the boat ramp. Great experience through a costly bad experience with our boat.

Arrived earlier which was great and navigated us through a storm up the Miami River to our destination for repairs. We waited forever and they never showed up. We didnt have phones working. Luckily a family that was there as well listened to us and readily helped us. No issue at all. No equipment, no experience, no problem. As opposed to the actual towing boat by this company that clearly didnt wanna work, let alone help people in dire need. I just want to begin with saying I am not a BoatUS member, regardless, i am not here to bash BoatUS Miami. I am sure they offer great service, but I just want to share my experience i had this weekend on the water when I approached Captain Kyle for a friendly question on if they were going to allow boaters to park on the sand bar and one of his rude replies was for me to to ask the police officer so i can get a ticket. Then he told me he would be there later when my boats battery runs out of charge, when i told him NO, I have SeaTow, which then he replied Oh so you will then end up waiting four hours. I told him no i wouldnt as I have never had a bad experience with SeaTow. He shouldnt be treating possible future customers that way. He was just parked on his phone, which is probably why got the bad raft as i disturbed him. Oh well, hopefully he realizes its not ok to treat people that way. Captains name was Kyle.

I love these guys ! Boat broke down, needless to say I was nervous until I remembered my Boat US towing insurance . The size of my boat is intimidating, at 50 Ft, but Captain Jay got me over to the fuel dock, and after trying to start the boat and failing again ( long day ) he got me back to my slip so I could ascertain my next move . I was a real piece of mind to have the insurance .

When our engine died on our way back to our dock while in the Atlantic, TowBoatUS Miami was on the scene quickly and soon had us under tow. They were very professional and patient as we prepared our boat for towing and again as we tied up for docking maneuvers. We got stuck on a sand bar south of Haulover Beach. We called TowBoatUS and Capt Jarvis showed up right away. He was very courteous and tow us out of the sand bar. TowBoatUS is well worth the money. We give them 5 stars with a great review.

Our boat ran aground last night and Captain Jarvis Osorio was dispatched to help us but unfortunately the tide was too low and he could not get close enough with his boat. We were planning to wait for the next high tide.I was on shore, but when it became much colder later I called Jarvis and told him that there was only one person on the boat and it was quite cold and his cell phone was dying.Jarvis told me that he didn’t ever like to leave anybody stranded so he went out immediately and was able to get close enough to at least get the passenger back to his home dock.He contacted us again in the morning to see if we needed any help getting the boat. I felt he went above and beyond because we knew that we would have to wait until high tide to float the boat, I don’t think that Jarvis was required to come out to get the passenger, but he did and I’m very grateful for that.

Capt Jarvis was on time and very helpful gave us reassurance we would be helped with our boat. He stayed with us until we were fully operational and on the go. On time and knew what he was doing. Definitely went over and beyond something you dont see very often. Thank you Capt!
