Going to the Everglades was one of the activities that our party wanted to do. It was a really fun experience! We started off with a animal show and informative session. Sadly during our airboat tour no alligators were spotted. However, our tour guide let us hold a baby gator at the end of the tour. The staff was nice and knowledgeable about the topic. Something I’d recommend is bring water, hats, sunscreen, and bug spray. Otherwise, it was a real fun time!

This place is really cool!! We got there around 10 AM and only had to wait 20 minutes before the next airboat tour. The tour guide was really knowledgeable about the plants of the Everglades. Got to see a few alligators and birds in water. They have a nice gift shop and restaurant with reasonable prices. They have a few alligators and snakes they bring out after the tour. Staff all very friendly. Cant wait to come back!

This was definitely a great experience that you can do with friends and alone! I had a good time eating frog legs and alligator at the restaurant. Then, exploring the Zoo before the tour started. Alligators got very close but the guide was phenomenal! You wont be disappointed!

I have always wanted to try an Airboat, it was a nice experience and we even got to see couple of Crocodiles, different birds and vegetation. Our guide gave us a good information about the Everglades. Kids friendly, Don forget hats, sunscreen and water.

The staff were so friendly and funny. Before going on the tour, you get to hear a show where you can feed turtles, pet a baby alligator and boa constrictor, and see the alligator family. Once on the airboat, they provide cotton calls to put in your ears or you can bring ear plugs. The shop is pretty neat and you can get alligator jerky. Theres also a restaurant, the gator bites and frog legs were very good! The waitress is great!

All staff was super friendly and seemed to enjoy answering all of our toddlers many, many questions. Airboat tour was fun. Wish wed brought more water and things to cover ourselves - it was hot and youre exposed to the sunlight for the entire ride.

This place has been here forever and I usually make the trip out each visit! It was raining pretty good today (6/15) but it was a good airboat ride and everyone loves the slides! Didnt see but a couple today but still worth the visit.

It was so much fun! The Everglades are beautiful. Our guide was very good and stopped several times so we could see alligators and to tell us about the Everglades. The animal show was also fun and informative. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, they helped make the visit a time we wont forget. Also, make sure to have lunch at the little cafe, the fried gator tail is delicious!

Low prices compared to other airboat companies in the area. There was a reptile show w/ free (tips accepted) pictures before the airboat and then we could take pics (tips accepted) with a baby croc after the boat. All in all great experience

We had a great time at this place. The prices are reasonable for the amount of time you spend out there. Some places are more money and for less time spent out on the boat. Coopertown did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and our tour guide Jack was awesome. Jack was very knowledgeable and funny. He loves the Everglades and he loves his job which makes the trip well worth it. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stop back over here

Doug was a rockstar of a guide. Much more fun than the same your I took with Everglades Safari Park a few days later. Also the young lady who did the informative talk with the critters was excellent. Facilities are original and gave it that authentic southern feel.

The animal show was great, Carlos was wonderful. The boats ran well and prices seemed fair. We did do the cheaper group tour as opposed to the private tour. I wish the boat driver (guide?) said more about where we were and what we were seeing. The desk staff were knowledgeable and encouraging to reluctant kids.

Fun time with 20 minute pre show followed by a 40 minute air boat ride. This company has been in service since 1949. After the ride took picture with a 3 foot gator. Captain was awesome and informative. Only issue I had was purchasing ticket on Groupon, when I got there I had no service, so had to ask for to use another persons phone that had little service. Sooooo... print or download ticket before you get there 👍🏽👍

Did a lot of research before choosing this place! Best bang for your buck! Not as touristy as some of the other places, which means smaller more personalized tour. Our ride had about 10 people on it and the tour guide was great at spotting out the gators and other wild life. He would also spin the boat around to give both sides great opportunities for getting the perfect picture!

This was such a wonderful Everglades experience! What a great day. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful, the restaurant was cute and fun, the boat tour was a blast, the animal show was great, and the gift shop had such fun treasures. Will absolutely do this again next time I visit the Everglades. Check Groupon to see if theres a deal! If you have one, bring your Everglades entry fee receipt with you to avoid paying the additional $5 National Park fee in addition to your air boat tour cost.

We had a great time at Coopertown Airboats! Mike was our guide and he was really well versed in all things Everglades and seems very passionate about the wildlife. We rented the private tour for a group of & and the boat was super spacious. The boat ride consisted of some rides through the grassland portions of the Everglades to see some birds and fish, and then theyll take you through some more wooded portions in canals where youll see some gators. The gators are clearly VERY used to the airboats and dont see them as a threat because they will come up RIGHT next to the boat. I think we stopped and met 4 or 5 alligators during our tour. Definitely would recommend and ask for Mike!

Had so much fun with the family. The tour guide guy was knowledgeable about the everglades and stopped to explain everything we needed to know. Buy the go Miami pass and visit three attractions with it, including Coopertown. That way you save so much money.

Looked a little iffy from the outside but the tour was just the right amount of time to experience a little of the Everglades. This place has a restaurant and sells beers that you can take on the airboat. Although we didnt eat here, the burger looked like a 1/2 pound of deliciousness. This place could use a little cosmetic upgrade but the tour itself was fun and informative. We got to see 3 of the locals (alligators) upclose on the tour.

Good way to experience the Everglades marshes if you are not looking forward for a hike. The airboat ride is fun and about 40 mins long and if lucky you can spot a alligator or two. For general airboat ride they will not start the tour until there are enough members. They have few caged huge alligators, turtles and couple Boa for viewing. Overall well spent 2 hours.

Was surprised how much we enjoyed this, especially our 18 year old son who was not interested in going here . They have a few alligators in pens to see before you take your cruise. Also have a little show with some of the things you may see, turtles, a small gator,etc. On a side note the gators in the pens are usually still,you may think theyre not real. While the pre- boarding show was going,a old man was using his cane to poke them through the chain link pen. The guide handled it well,was loud,but firm in getting the man to stop. The ride is loud while moving,they give cotton balls to you as ear plugs( headphone type ear protection for kids). Boat has kids and of a drift quality to it in the turns,a unique experience. The captain, who was normally a cruise ship captain ( not running cruises during Covid19) would stop from time to time,give a talk,or point out things. We did see one gator cross the channel in front of us. Highly recommend doing this,being from the Midwest,you just dont have things like this in our area.

The restaurant was small and only had 1 person who was the waitress and cook. The AC was not on and a 20 minute wait was sweltering. However, the food was delicious! The airboat tour was fun and informative.

Fake alligator experience sold as though they are wild animals. No cool and false advertisement. I wouldn’t be surprised if the alligators they “showed” uswere actually plastic.

This was amazing! Super informative and educational. Arturo was our guide, and he kept the tour lively and fun. The airboat ride itself was fun as Ill get out. Getting to see wildlife alligators birds etc in their natural habitat was really cool. I definitely would like to bring my children back down here next time so that they can experience it. When youre done you have to stop in and get some food at their restaurant, just to say youve done it.

Dreams came true here! Im a gator lover and have dreamed of an experience like this. The best part was them letting me hold a young gator. The air boat was amazing the guide a ginger like me was funny and knowledgeable to the flora and fauna and he wore his mask the entire time. He even drifted us in the boat a bit! Also we went first thing and had maybe a half full to a quarter full boat and it made the experience even better. Lastly some rich lady bough a private tour and was then asked by another staff member to see her ticket when she went through the gate. It was epic to watch her face, reaction, response and submission to a staff member doing their job. Loved it!

Had an enjoyable visit today. Ate lunch first; all was excellent. Angel, our server, was great; thre kitchen was really slow for so few customers but I think it was only one cook. The tour was shorter than we expected, but we saw 3 alligators and the tour guide shared a lot of information. We would definitely go again; but would probably pick a longer trek.

Awesome place to visit! The Airboat tour was amazing, and full of knowledge about the Everglades and the animals that live there.

The air boat is fair/ average, consider the price. There was no show, the lady that worked was so grumpy the whole time, the moment we walked to the show area, she told us there was no show, she was just standing there for us to ask questions, her attitude was pathetic. I think I have never been to any place and met a staff with such miserable attitude. I would not recommend this tour.

This is place is absolutely fun. I went with friends and we had a lot of friends. I brough tickets for myself and kids to go back again. This is a place that the whole family would have fun in. The stuff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The airboat ride was fun.

You get to see a bunch of gators and even hold them.The riverboat tour is fun, and it’s one of the closest spots too Miami.

Tour was really short. They say its an hour but I think their estimate included the little alligator farm. You also cover very little distance out on the water during the tour. Im sure their tours are very similar to all the other air boat tours in the area. I definitely recommend doing the private tour. It was still a good experience and I would do it again.

We had reservations for 9:00 a.m. and they were ready for us. We had a great time out on the boat saw some very beautiful scenery and five or six alligators. We had a lot of fun.

We got there shortly before they closed, in the middle of a little storm, and these SUPER NICE PEOPLE brought out a baby alligator for us to see! The kids LOVED it!! For 15 minutes they never stopped asking questions! Arturo is super KNOWLEDGEABLE and was very patient with them. He clearly loves his job! :) This was such a treat for us! An unforgettable experience!!! ♡

We took a tour with Coopertown at the beginning ofo January. My husband & I have a bucket list to visit all the US National Parks. Taking an air boat tour through the Everglades with Coopertown was truly one of our favorite expriences we had while visiting the Everglades. Not only was it fun, but also very educational. I would highly recommend adding it to your list of things to do while you are in the area or visiting the Everglades!

The guide was great and I enjoyed the airport. The place is a bit rundown so keep that in mind. By a bit I mean the “restaurant” has no AC and there is really no wildlife show. We saw one alligator baby and one snake. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed the experience. The take away photo was awesome.

Fantastic your, and must do to see parts of the northern park and ti get a sense of the ecology. Take the private tour, its not that much more expensive. In the back there are a few large alligators, and the restaurant lets you order to go if you want to sample something unusual

Staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions. Got the first boat of the day and saw so many birds and about 10 gators. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the animals and the area. We visited the end of February so I am not sure if it was the time we went but we saw way more than we expected! I highly recommend this company.

Sam was out guide and he was informative and entertaining. We really enjoyed the facts that he provided throughout the tour. He was very attentive to questions. The animal show allowed us to learn new things and enjoy the reptiles on display.

Our guide was great. Saw several Gators. There is disabled parking in the front. If you have a US Parks Pass it will save you several dollars. Make sure to bring sunscreen, a hat and a camera. Masks are required.

One of the best airboat rides i have had. They spaced us nicely in the boat. It is not crowded. It was worth every penny and safe. The guide was a exelent and knowledgeable about his surroundings. We learned so much. He talked about the trees and animals. The ride itself was pretty exiting and fun too. We saw many alligators.The airboat ride came with a show after. The show was cool. You get to touch alligators and snakes. You get to take pictures too.

We experienced a tour with Coopertown on a Thursday morning. The boat ride was relatively uneventful. The driver/guide did not engage the passengers at all. We saw one small alligator and two birds. While I know you cannot control wildlife, it would have been nice to have seen a bit more. The facilities are extremely run down and just dirty all around. The alligators they have on display are in laughably small pens, and one of them had no water at all in his little pond even though it was scorching hot outside. The most redeeming quality about the experience was that the staff was very kind and accommodating.

Had a blast here! For $27 you get an entrance into the park with two gators, a turtle, and a snake exhibit. The air boat ride is 40 minutes long and awesome! It’s safe for kids we took my 2 year old niece and she loved it. We saw 3 gators in the wild and learned a lot of cool information about the Everglades. Our tour guide was really nice and knowledgeable (be sure to tip). No pets are allowed in the park though.

We came in without an appointment and did a private tour. They were very accommodating and hooked us up with Sam right away. We had a great 60 minute tour. Saw 6 gaters and other wildlife. Our driver sped around fast and graceful. Could not of had more fun.

Amazing experience to ride throw the airboat. Thrilling to ride into the Everglades, awesome way to explore, see the Gators, spot so many different types of birds, turtles and just experience the breath taking ride into the glades.Our tour guide was Sam, did a phenomenal job we had a great time hearing all about the Everglades park, the Gators and many other things.Prior to the boat tour, there is a mini animal show inside - kinda waiting area. Our guide was Carlos, did great explaining everything about the gator family - Jo Jo, Big Ben and others. Showed us the snakes, snapping baby turtle and also allowed us to hold and take pictures with the BOA snake.Overall, definitely worth the time and money to visit and experience the Everglades through Coopertown.There is also a restaurant attached - you get to try turtle legs, gator tail, beer, soda and other items.There are restrooms at the back of the restaurant, clean and ok.Only downside was the photo booth, the guy was less interested and didnt explain well about the photo pose.

Wow the best airboat tour ride in the Everglades. Awesome tour guide we had. The gators come right to the airboat.

The tours are advertised as 40 min long however our experience lasted about 10 min. After about 10 min our tour guide got the boat stuck in the grass for over 30 min. We had to sit out in the boat baking for entire time until another boat came out. We where transferred to the new boat which took us straight back to the dock. When we returned I asked the staff is there anything they can do to accommodate the inconvenience and was told it happens and they can’t do anything about it. It was a lack luster experience.

Took my family of 5 on the airboat tour and it was a great experience. Everyone we interacted with seemed like they really enjoyed working there. The ride was a lot of fun and we saw about 7 gators. I walked away with a completely different understanding of the Everglades.

Had a great airboat ride. Not expensive and just long enough. Some high-speed running and then some slower moving to spot the gators. We saw about seven and then they have some much larger ones in captivity. Pretty birds were hanging around too. We had a photo-op with a young gator.

Rain or shine!!! This was an awesome adventure during a mini monsoon! We saw two gators...Ive been on a few of these types of tours and this was the first where we saw gators out during the tour! Very nice and knowledgeable group of ppl working there!

We had a groupon and were surprised it cost almost $50 additional $. It was worth it, for sure, just read the details so you know beforehand).
