Best martial arts place for young ones. Master Jose is great with the kids. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good wholesome experience for their kids. The classes are short (30 min for the 4-6 year olds) but extremely active and challenging. TJ is great at sending out inspirational emails to help engage parents. The kids are taught the principles of martial arts which translate to all areas of life. I love this place and I’m sure you will too.

We really love it here for our 8-yr-old. Theyre a perfection mix of professionalism and heart. You know things are going to be organized and done well, but also your child will be loved and paid attention to. Cant recommend enough!

Master TJ is an exemplary professor of the true martial arts. My sons started their journey to black belt when they were 4 and 8 yrs old respectively. Master TJ has been their mentor, teacher, and big brother. They have matured and excelled in their physical and mental well being and they have mastered the five tenets of Taekwondo. The studio has grown from one small classroom of 5-6 students to over 50 students and the studio has quadruple in size and comfort. True Martial Arts is not just any martial arts center, it is a place where kids learn, grow, and understand respect as well as hard work and fun at the same time.

My boys have been doing Taekwondo lessons with Master TJ for 5 years. You would be amazed at the skills the children learn. True Martial Arts has not only become a place for my boys to learn, exercise and make friends, it has become a family. Master TJ truly is highly qualified and cares for the kids. True Martial Arts is amazing!! Master TJ instills respect and discipline in my kids while providing a loving and supportive environment for them to learn and grow. The adult fitness classes are a great workout. All of us are really appreciative of the online classes being offered for all levels during this time of quarantine. Both of my children have been at True Martial Arts for about 6 years now and if you want your children to engage in an activity that is based on respect, gaining responsibility and build confidence this the place to go. Master TJ has a passion and drive that I’ve seen from day one. He recently added an adult class called “TRUE FITNESS”, which I’ve been participating at this time via ZOOM because of the pandemic virus. He has not skipped a beat and has continued to excel. True Martial Arts is an amazing place. All 3 of my kids have been with Master TJ for 5 years. The discipline, respect and curtesy along with the martial arts that he teaches them is absolutely amazing. Classes are for all ages, and the times of the classes are convenient. My son and dtr both have been training with Master TJ for a little over a year. TJ has the ability to connect and bring the best qualities out of all the children in his class, regardless of age or gender. His combination of consistent discipline mixed with a high understanding of the kids and their needs, is a very successful recipe for helping the kids learn Taekwondo and all the qualities necessary for excelling in life....in general.I had respect for TJ before the rona outbreak but even more now. He has managed to navigate the unknown waters of teaching his classes via zoom and has enabled my children to continue physical activity and a sense of normalcy during uncertain timesTJ also teaches an adult fitness class which I had the privilege of trying via zoom and I am now participating in on a regular basis.
