I was so bothered when I read the bad review that was recently written about Dermacare. I am a physician and have been a patient of Dr. Barnes for the past three years. Dr. Barnes and her staff are warm, caring, extremely patient oriented, well organized, and they always see their patients at their appointment time without any wait time. Every single time that I have been to that office I have been treated like I am part of a family. It is evident that the person who wrote the bad review is not educated enough to know how much one has to study to become a physician, physician assistant, nurse or clinical assistant. Multitasking is part of every medical practice! The staff at Dermacare is extremely well trained and I feel very confident and happy to continue going to such an amazing practice. I admire Dr. Barnes for all the effort and everything that she has done to provide her patients with the best care.

DON’T GO / NO VAYASThis clinic is not professional AT ALL.Investing your money in there will not be worth it.1. Let’s start by the fact that you will not see an actual doctor until you pay for the treatment and only an advisor (that isn’t a doctor) will see you first.2. The same lady that’s in the reception was applying the anesthesia and doing other procedures which is UNSANITARY & UNACCEPTABLE. How is it possible that someone who is a receptionist and manage payments and money is the same person that applies anesthesia in your face and do other procedures?3. There’s not a single certification or medical degree hanging in the wall which makes it suspicious.4. The doctor applies the product (filler in this case) depending on what SHE wants and not letting you complain afterwards if you didn’t like the results.5. This clinic is located in the center of Brickell demanding expensive prices that would be worth it if they had enough employees that can actually provide a good service, but it’s not the case.This is based in my personal experience, after I didn’t like the result and they didn’t agree on helping me correcting the mistakes they made now I have to go to another place to fix it & lost my money with DermaCare Brickell.Again, do not go.(I’m using a different name in order to protect my privacy)

I thought Id already written these girls a review, but I guess I was wrong. The Dermagirls are really the best. Odalys on the front lines couldnt have a better attitude, Michelle & Carrie are great and Yuni is the sweetest. Wonderful experience, great facility. Id highly recommend it. Your concerns will always be addressed & no one will pressure you to do anything you dont want. #dermafabulous

I am in Miami for a few months and really needed Botox. I typically see a dermatologist where I am from and have gotten Botox for several years. I appreciated that the specialists at Dermacare took time to sit down with me for a brief consultation and let me know price/unit, etc. They recommended a very different approach than I was used to, but I decided to see how it would go. After 3 weeks I am happy to say I love the results. I personally like to be quite frozen and they still suggested a conservative amount, which I appreciated. My forehead is nice and smooth with minimal movement (which I like). I highly recommend this medspa for Botox injections.

Dermacare Brickell is my absolute favorite place to go to for all my needs beauty. Dr. Barnes is an artist at what she does and is extremely knowledgeable. Carrie will guide you through the right steps in finding what’s best for you as well as in a reasonable price range. I always recommend Dermacare to all my friends because I know they will receive the best results with the utmost care.

In town from NYC and needed to get my quarterly VI peel. Found this place on Google and sent an email for an appointment. Got amazing customer service pre, and post procedure. Also took my temp at the door, made me wash my hands and gave me gloves. I can appreciate that.The front desk was welcoming even as I was a bit behind schedule. Carrie sat down with me to make sure that I had chosen the correct procedure according to the result I desired. Gave my visit the professional touch that many forget.Once I was in, my specialist was very nice and we had a good conversation while she concentrated on giving me a perfectly even peel.5 stars and I will be back. Very good and professional experience. I called got an appointment pretty quickly. They had some specials I was able to take advantage of. I also had a facial done by a machine and also light extraction done by the esthetician. The results were fairly good. I was pleased the staff is very friendly and didn’t judge me or make me feel bad when I expressed my concerns and budget. I will be returning when I need more services.

BEWARE! I was scammed by Dermaclinic.Ladies make sure you ask to do a test area if you are getting the smooth shape or the cavitation!! These 2 services are unbearably painful and they will not return your money under any circumstance!!!! Even if you are clearly experiencing intense pain and cant take the treatment, they will not refund you at all.I also had a family emergency with covid which forced me to move out of the states. I explained my issues and they just dont care. I purchased the services under a special package only to find out the way its billed its a total scam that is not specified on the fine print. Even with a clear, verified, and admitted error on the contract, my money was not returned. Carrie only offered a credit for less than a 1/4 of what i spent with the clinic, to be used at the clinic, but that does nothing. She knew I was leaving Miami for good. Horrible customer service, its a shame because some of their staff is very nice.

I simply love them. I’ve been going there for years, Carrie, dr Barnes, Heidi and all the staff are simply amazing. They truly care about me, their suggestions are always accurate, and all the services provided are high quality services. I have tried other places, but I wouldn’t go anywhere else ever again. I love them, and I have recommended them to all my friends and family. You can tell they are being genuinely nice, and it comes naturally to them.Dr Barnes is very gifted, all results on my skin are impeccable. Always, no exceptions. Carrie always find a way to help me out, doesn’t matter what time I reach out to her. An example is, I recently did a surgery and it has left a scar. I barely mentioned it to her few days back, and yesterday she called me to give me a nice cream to treat it. She’s a sweetheart and very professional. Summarizing, they are experts on what they do, all high qualified professionals and I love them.

Michelle is an amazing doctor and her work is spectacular! I went in for my first time for lip fillers and the moment I stepped into the clinic I felt taken care for, seen and heard. Michelle felt like a best friend helping a sister out. Cool, clean and comfortable all my questions were answered and the procedure was skillfull, fast and with minimal discomfort.I cant wait to see Dr Barnes again when its time and highly recommend her to anyone looking to touch up their looks.

The one thing you will get that you are hard pressed to find elsewhere is the quality treatment and really incredible people who will make you feel like you can do anything from the moment you say hello.I love coming here and the special way I am treated. I also love the results. My dysport took effect in only 3 days. They really give you exactly what you need. No fake injections like Ive had trying to get a deal from Groupon. This is legit.So two wins. It works and you get treated like a queen. I wont to anywhere else.

The staff is what makes this place special. Dr B & Carrie always listen to my concerns & offer options. This is not a one procedure fits all kind of med spa. Got a package of 6 sessions for hair laser removal. Very nice technicians. It would’ve been better to use the chalk to make sure no areas are being missed. I also wished Carrie would’ve done a follow up after the 6 sessions full body laser. It was $2500 for the package (6 areas) and I inquired about more sessions since I still had hair, I was told it was going to be $1800. I asked Carrie if I could do the maintenance for $1500 instead of $1800 and got a cold response. I love when centers put their clients’ satisfaction first and don’t only think in terms of $. I guess Carrie took my request very personally..Receiving as much attention after the treatments as the first time you walk-in is imperative!

Dr Barnes is the best!!!! I have been going to her for years. I would never let anyone else touch my face. She is delicate, conservative and has comforted me in my moments of horror as I realize my skin is not as loose as it once was. Or when I think I need to do all these new procedures, she carefully guides me. I look amazing!! Amazing for 40. I am a very “picky customer”I used to change dermatologist a lot because of the doctors lock of experience or the poor customer services or even for the things other people will not think was a big deal but that changed when found this wonderful place Called Dermacare few years ago. I am very happy with all the treatments I had and still have there. The results are amazing. I love love my skin. Part of the success of this business is because dr B is very honest and tell you exactly what works for you and what you should expect from every treatment she offers, she is very experienced, I would say an artist and ethical ..that is huge !Carrie is an inspiration to me because I see how dedicated she is to her job and to the customersWhen I referred my friends she always went out of her way to helped them have a great experience by listening what they are looking for etc She explains clearly every policy and promotions they have so you know exactly what you are paying for and for what treatments.Heidi and Maribel are very knowledgeable with the machines and make you feel confortable during the treatments. First time I went to Dermacare, I was a little afraid, after all is the face what we are talking about. I met with Carrie De Castro. Her knowledge made me trust my decision and that it was fine to move to the next step. The injection. Dr. Barnes was sure of how safe the injection was and, that she had the training and the experience, I instantly believed in her. This was about seven years ago. It is with her that I tried a filler. It was with one of her team members that I tattooed my eyebrows.In one word, Dermacare is team of professionals.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDdr B is the BESTEST. i had been going to dr brandts (RIP) office in the gables and getting good but unfortunately relatively UNaffordable treatment maintenance. i was VERY hesitant to leave the expertise and client relations (including goodwill services like tweaks and corrections since we know cosmoderm med is not just science but an art) of his office. to me, sometimes the client service is more important than the treatment itself.i needed a comparable treatment and client oriented cosmoderm spa but one at more affordable pricing but was afraid to leave 2 MD dermatologists at my office in the gables. i dont remember how, but i stumbled upon dermacare and immediately felt comfortable and at east with dr B. she has made great recommendations, said hmmm maybe not a good idea/not worth the money, not enough of a fix, cost effective or otherwise when she believed it. to me, that builds HUGE trust and credibility. never at any time did i feel pitched--and believe me im a great pitch detector, to the point where i have terminated business or relations with merchants than behave in that fashion.i feel like a more knowledgeable consumer when i leave which is VERY important in this business. anytime ive had questions or concerns, i always felt validated and valued. i have been pleased with my injectable treatments (cant speak to aesthetics or lasers) and their efficacy. pleased enough that when i return to miami for vacations. i have gone in for treatments knowing that follow up would be logistically complicated if not impossible. but alas, not necessarily impossible because dr B *and the staff) responded with personability, urgency, sensitivity, empathy, courtesy, and friendly cooperative partnership on possibly even better solutions and with a client goodwill approach.i DO NOT want to be argued with when expressing questions concerns to any business. that has NEVER happened to me here (unlike my previous office in PA)--with one EXCEPTION of an administrative issue on an appt cancellation which wasnt even a big deal--which is very important to me. the last thing anyone wants, when they are being honest, truthful, altruistic and respectful is to get their concerns dismissed or even diminished. see what i mean about client service??!! dr B has been awesome in that space and i applaud her for it.treatment is great. prices are reasonable. staff is friendly. everyone is approachable. environment is peaceful, calm and soothing. aesthetics are sterile but warm and comfortable.(dermacare prices are moderate in comparison to market and seemingly less expensive than dr offices yet you have a dr on staff)

I did not like the one that was burned in the last section, they only gave me a cream but they never took charge of what happened. The manger of that they treat you like queen and they are very kind but in any case one pays for the service. I had a treatment to get rid of the beautiful ones and they told me that some people take more time because the beautiful is stronger or the weaker depends on the beautiful. That was an experience many years ago in 2015 more or less

A real scam I paid 350 $ to put botox on my forehead alone without having many wrinkles since I am 29 years old and after a month and a half the effect began to disappear I went to the place and the doctor told me that there are people that the effect lasts less but less than a month and a half is something like impossible, so I talked to several moms from my daughters kindergarten who had put themselves on the scene and the same thing had happened to them, dont lose your money
