Great equipment and area, I’m giving it a conditional 3 stars, based on the following complaints- People don’t wipe down equipment and there’s little enforcement of it, not a huge deal but worth mentioning- The water fountain in the main room has a red filter, IMO there’s a lot of things that can go wrong in any situation but not having a proper water filter is not okay in a gym.- Equipment and Weights - the weight plates are everywhere, again not a huge deal more so how the people treat their gym. Additionally there’s some equipment thats been broken since I got there.Overall I quite like it, but it feels like we’re paying for the name of the gym and the square footage rather than an 89$/month gymI’ll update this once they fix the water fountain at least.

Local ir visitor this is the gym you need and worth every penny enny. 3 different areas expanded to every side to the original one, weightlifting, machines, barbells, dumbells, crossfit racks, boxing area, whatever you need. It is always clean and with very cool environment. When in Miami elevation it is.

This gym is badass. I reminds of the famous Gold Gym in Venice, CA. Old school, but with new equipment and members who come to do more than stare at their cell phones.

First time visiting this gym and it was an amazing experience. The staff was great, very professional and courteous. The trainers were extremely helpful in answering my Workouts questions. I highly recommend this gym and anyone looking for a new training facility!!!!

The gym is very dirty, the floors are full of dirt, spills, etc…the bathrooms are unsanitary, the gym smells musty. No one wipes the machines after use, I’ve seen dogs, people eating in the work out rooms. It’s so dirty you don’t even want to put your bag on the floor. The manager never answers emails and the people at the front have no idea of how the memberships even work. The weights are all over the place so you can never find then. The machines are very old, some don’t even work properly. With covid getting worse they should be keeping the place clean at minimum…… I will be canceling my membership.

My personal trainer comes highly recommended. Ive been with her for a long time and have gained considerable arm, leg, and ab strength. She inspires me to be the best version of myself every day. Simply choose her if you want to achieve a physically fit body!

One of the best gyms I have ever been too. Equipment, culture, size, people. Just stellar talent and they even did a free day pass for my first time. Makes me want to move to Miami.

Great gym but the only reason why I signed up there was because I needed a trainer. I trained one-on-one with Lawrence and it was worth the time and money. He helped me correct my posture and I can see a big difference after training with him only 12 sessions.

The amount of improvements Ive seen in my body and muscle definition, as well as the improvement Ive made in being able to perform any of the exercises, has been astounding. Id like to thank the exercise gym for their perseverance and diligence in assisting me!

Love this place and atmosphere but they don’t have any discounts for veterans or students. Im a business owner myself and offer discounts to college students and veterans if asked as well as anybody that seems to really need it. It just seems like the right thing to do and it’s so minor.

Super clean gym with lots of equipment & weights. Nice to see gyms holding themselves & the members to a high standard -- weights are actually reracked and management is top notch.

This is an exceptional gym and I would -- and do -- highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in improving ones health, fitness, and/or physique, whether a beginner or far more advanced. The founder & owner invests tremendously into improving the overall workout experience for everyone who works out there. The only place I can think of that Ive been that has comparable equipment or offers a comparable quality of workout and experience is the Golds Gym in Venice, California (which is, mind you, often referred to as the Mecca of Bodybuilding). The staff is friendly, and there are a substantial number of members who are very knowledgeable as it pertains to anything fitness related, from form variations on particular exercises to nutrition and recovery outside of the gym. Im very impressed with the people who work out there and am grateful for the people Ive met and relationships Ive cultivated so far. My experience (thus far) has been unambiguously positive. Essentially all of my workouts have been at the downtown (Wynwood) location, which I think was the original location. Overall, I think its a great value and again would highly recommend.

Left a premium fitness club and started going to Elev8tion Fitness 4 months ago. Let me tell you … 10/10 would recommend! Besides the great ambiance and classes, I’ve been training one-on-one with Lawrence and he made all the difference for me. He holds you accountable, customizes your workouts so you get the most out of your time there. Had major knee pain, back pain but thanks to him all that’s GONE! Really happy I started coming here!

I have been a member at Elev8tion fitness for 4 years now. Yay!! & happy 4yr Gym-anniversary. OG Club. Clearly this review is Long Overdue. I have witnessed this gym get bigger & better every quarter. As a Female it can be quiet intimidating going to a coed gym. We are our worst critics and I’ll admit some of us get crazy thinking we are receiving inappropriate attention. It’s in our heads ladies. This gym has an assortment of shapes and sizes to admire and use as motivation. I have always felt safe and comfortable. If ever I feel the need to address any concern, I feel confident to speak to any of the staff members there. The Owner, Angel, is a pretty Cool Cat😉. Gerald is an OG and happens to be my favorite. This amazing gym is Constantly adding equipment, classes, supplemental drinks and simply switching it up so there’s always something for everyone. Whether you are new to the area, new to your fitness Journey or body builder/ competitor. There is enough equipment and space for everyone. I recommend anyone looking for a cool clean gym,This is the place. My only downfall is that I don’t take enough advantage of all the equipment here. Welcome to Miami. At this gym on June 6th I was disrespected and violated. A man named Tim followed me to the bathroom after he had been staring at me and another women during our workouts. He opened the door on me while I was half dressed and instead of immediately shutting the door he stood there and stared at me and only closed the door when I yelled at him to shut the door and leave. I spoke to the workers there and they were helpful but I do not want to be in a gym that does not immediately revoke membership to a man who behaves in such a manner. He kept insisting he did nothing wrong and even after I started crying out of frustration I still received no apology. My experience at this gym has been traumatic and I feel extremely unsafe and violated after training here. Ontop of this incident, the bathroom are not clean at all. They smell like fish and I often find myself in a situation where there is no toilet paper or even wipes to clean the machines. After this incident the gym has continued to allow the man to train at their gym and blocked my Instagram account and deleted my comments talking about the traumatic experience I had. They have been very unprofessional and insensitive to me despite having been a client at their gym. They are trying to silence me, gaslight me, and paint the picture that I’m lying and exaggerating about what happened to me. The lock on the unisex bathroom door was broken. I was followed into the bathroom. And this creep who is still allowed to go to the gym opened the door and stared at my vulnerable half naked body. Women are not safe here. Planet fitness or LA fitness would be a safer and cleaner option for those looking to train in good environment.update: I have included screenshots of the unprofessionalism that followed this incident. they blocked me and deleted my comments talking about my experience. Also, the owner has tried to invalidate my experience because of the content I post on instagram and because I have an only fans. This is hypocritical because the owner posts competition photos in speedos and the people who train at the gym are also models and competitors who post the same exact photos I do. This extremely unprofessional and hypocritical behavior.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE RUDE AND CARELESS STAFF!!! I have been a member of Equinox and Anatomy Fitness for the past 3 years. I asked for a day pass to check out the new addition I heard about because the last time I visited was over 3 years ago. I gave them my name and it pulled up that I had visited although there was no date listed in the computer. I told them I was considering adding this membership if I liked it and the guy at the front told me I had to pay. I asked to speak with the manager and when he walked up I explained that I was looking to add a new membership if I liked the setup of the new addition. He said either you can pay or go it doesnt matter to us! I was very disappointed in this careless type of gym. Im used to a welcoming yum that wants you to come experience their unique experience. I payed and made it clear that it was only because my 3 other friends were already inside. Will never return to this place! Highly recommend Anatomy fitness Midtown. Marc Megna is one of the owners and the face of the company. He represents what this gym could never offer. He is very kind and very welcoming! Have nothing but good things to say about this gym. Have been here many times for events on weekends and the vibe of the gym fits the area and people. Ownership is real as real can be and that’s how it should be. Staff all welcoming. As for the gym they are always striving to be the best and offer as much as possible to their clients. They continue to grow and expand. If I didn’t live in Fort Lauderdale and lived further south this would be my every day gym no doubt.

Best gym in Miami. Tons of Squat racks. Huge area. High quality equipment. Great option for bodybuilders, power lifters or functional athletes. Several rowing machines and assault bikes in great condition. The gym can get pretty fn busy at peak times but the owner and staff promote a culture of kindness and respect that is disseminated towards everyone and in turn creates chill and good vibes amongst the patrons.

My mother and I were so satisfied with the experience we had at this gym because we were properly taken care of! The coaches were so helpful and they always make sure to check up on us every time!

Great Place! I went to buy a day pass because I was in the area and they told me my first day was free! They told me about memberships but did not push anything on me and allowed me to get my workout! I would definitely become a member! They have a whole leg room a whole upper body room and a 3rd boxing section. Great place beautiful people!

Terrible service; the manager Shirley didn’t offer me a package or told me my options. I went to try the gym because I’m new in town. My husband and my brother in law asked me if I like it; so we all 3 can join but she didn’t let me workout that day. I think they are not accepting more people. I tried class pass for other classes at that gym, knowing that it was big I wanted to give it try. She was rude and not professional at all. I decided to go to another big gym which they welcome you since you walk in.

For the downtown location - Great equipment, overly crowded, never any parking, no place to stretch. I asked the owner if they would be getting more parking to accommodate for the increase in members and, that idea was rejected and I was told to workout at a different time if I was unhappy with the parking situation.

Canceled back when Covid! I moved out of Miami been charging $95 last 3months, I called they gave me a wrong email! Come on! iF I want to cancel just f...ing cancel by a simple phone call to the gym stop being shady!!

Been coming here for quite a while now, but it seems like there has been a shift in management and it has become a little hostile . It is extremely uncomfortable having to be working out and one of the managers ( a woman ) stare at me and everything I do ( at others too ) to make sure I pick up after myself . I would like to add that I do, I have always re racked my weights etc and wipe my machines down . I respect my home and I also respect any facility I step foot in . All in all, what I am trying to say is, it would be nice to be able to not have someone breathing down my neck while I workout . I love this place, and the service from everyone, this was just a concern of mine .

This gym is awesome, probably it is the most complete equipment of all gyms in the Miami area. Little by little the owners add new features so it is ever evolving, of the gyms that I ve frequented few follow this kaizen mentality in the way Elev8tion does. Note that parking may be intimidating as the gym may appear to be fuller, however once in it, it is so spacious and with so much equipment and toys that you can always get your workout in. You will also find some of the best personal trainers in the Miami area. Overall, this is a great gym to boost your training whether working out by yourself, coached or if looking for PT. As of the time I am writing this they are adding cryotherapy to all their locations and other features that are making them move into the postworkout experience that other fitness establishments offer. If you like going to a gym and live or are visiting Miami, you must go to Elev8tion.

Super cool gym. Great people and always a clean place to enjoy a great workout. They just expanded and the size it twice as big with HITT training and a basketball court and plenty of room to workout. Open everyday and always people there to help with any questions you may have.

I got robbed at the parking lot on my second day. Somebody opened my car and got my bag with my computer and work stuffs. Even when the place is a good place to train, they should take care of the people adding some kind of security if the parking lot isn’t a safe place. I hope the owner can check the cameras and see if they can catch who did it because its extremely possible that was somebody who attend this gym.

My gym of choice for living near downtown Miami. Its not as big as LA Fitness or another corporate gym, but what youll find here is the best trainers in Miami...the ones that train competition winning fitness athletes. Even the gym owner is competing at the Arnold 2018. So if you are looking for a gym where everyone is dedicated to working out, this is the place!

Amazing old school gym!

Great gym, but to small for the amount of people that go there and lots of personal trainings there.The restroom it’s really small, most of the time you have to wait to use it, witch can take longer if someone it’s taking a shower in there.Good equipment, you can get a personal stretch by one of the professionals that work there. A few cardio machines, 3 step master, one bicycle, one punch bag.Small gym for the price.

Good gym, but I cant give 5 stars until they fix 2 of the 3 stairmasters that have been out of order since I joined, over a month ago. The only one working is always busy, obviously. And also the 2 showers with no hot water...We could do with a new ham-glut bench, btw.Apart from that is a good gym. Crowd is very friendly and staff also. Im happy with the music they play, training there is motivating and an overall positive experience.

Hands down best gym I have been to since livin in Florida. All the equipment you could dream of under one roof. Took a few months off from working out.. Can’t even tell you how much I love this place! Everyone is like family! They have excellent equipment, and the energy is like none other. They also have some of the very best trainers in all of Miami. I mean top notch men and women. IFBB Pro trainers. It’s very clean and sanitary and I am VERY big on that. Bathrooms are always nice and clean. They have delicious meals...and even a dope barber! It really is a one stop shop. This is the place to be in Miami! If you’re serious about fitness, Elev8tion is the spot.

Great gym, has everything needed for a good workout. Only issue is the bathroom/locker room/shower situation. Theres only two individual bathrooms ( the locker rooms are separate changing rooms not connected to the bathrooms at all) with a shower in each and there are no other showers... you can see how this could be a huge problem in the mornings when people have to get showered/ready for work being there are two showers for the whole gym, one in each individual bathroom. A solution would be to add an additional shower in each bathroom ( one female bathroom, one male) and put the toilet in a stall. That way two people can shower at one time in each bathroom and people can still use the toilet.

Great gym. For serious bodybuilders, but not scary for normal people. Most people are friendly and everyone is there to workout.

Waited 15 minutes at EMPTY front desk as a new member wanting to try this gym. Alexa answered phone and put me on hold as I still waited at front desk. The service is horrible and when I was in there I did not see one employee. This gym is not run professionally so do not waste your time like I did.

The gym has an old school feel. I dig this place. Very clean, staff was very friendly. I went on a Saturday evening and was not busy. I’d reccomend this place to everyone.

I joined Elev8tion last month and if you are a physique athlete or just into equipment that isnt typical corporate gym stuff then Elev8tion is what you NEED.The gym recently opened an entire new space with a turf field, basketball hoop, jungle gym, water boxing bags, sleds, glute and lower body equipment and even a yoke. This is already on top of a main room with a belted squat, inverted leg press and olympic platform!Once again, if you are looking for a facility that is equipped with unique and effective tools to achieve a specific physique then there is no other gym in the area with the sheer variety and opportunity that Elev8tion offers.

Continuing to charge membership dues while the gym is closed during the pandemic is outrageous.

Hands down one of the best gyms in south Florida.
