I’ve been trying to contact this place for WEEKSSSS and nobody ever answers the leasing office phone nor do they answer the phone for current residents. It’s so unprofessional and it makes people not trust them off rip because they can’t even answer the phone, I’ve left messages even put in my information through the website and nobody has ever contact me back. YA NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER!
Great place to stay at. Daniel and Alex were very attentive, helpful, polite and professional. I really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.
Love staying here! I was looking for a cheap apartment to rent in Miami and was considering studios in Downtown and Brickell, but then I came across Aerie. I looked into the coliving apartment model and found that it worked perfectly for me! A lot of the other Miami apartments under $1000 were really run down, but this is a brand new place -- I think I was actually the first to rent my private bedroom, which was awesome! Id definitely recommend it to anyone whos looking for an affordable apartment in Miami.
Stayed in one of the coliving apartments here for a little over a month. I had my own bedroom and there were two other bedrooms. Loved how close it was to all the action of Brickell, just across the river without paying an arm and a leg. The apartments are very modern and have everything you need if you work from home - high speed wifi (100mbps/55mbps) and a workstation in my room. My roommates were cool, so I was very glad about that. I loved that they sent a cleaning lady every couple weeks to clean our living kitchen and dining area, plus she would hook us up with all the housing supplies you need, like garbage bags, paper towels, soap, etc. I know its not a hotel, but this was a very nice touch that refreshed the place for us. Id definitely come back here if Im traveling solo.
I stayed at Aerie apartments for a month to get away from the cold. It ended up being cheaper than a Miami hotel or Airbnb. All I needed was a room, so I was glad to find this option -- very close to downtown, brickell. I also took an uber to Miami beach several times and it cost about $15 which isnt bad at all. I visited coconut grove and wynwood as well and they were only 15-20 minutes away as well. The place is brand new and had some cool tech features like keyless entry, which I liked. I just needed my phone to get into the building and apartment. When I went for a run, I just put the app widget on my iwatch and used that instead, so no need for keys jangling around. The building felt safe even if some of the other buildings and people in the area were rough. But growing up in LA, nothing too wild here. The apartment itself is nicely designed and modern. Its like roommate living, but very easy to get into. I had my own bedroom and bathroom, so its really not an issue -- most of the time it felt like I had the entire place to myself. My apartment was on the first floor so we didnt have a balcony but the ones above me did.The other two rooms were already rented out, so I got to meet them (one guy, one girl) occasionally after work some nights, but we all kinda kept to ourselves due to the pandemic. They were respectful and clean which I greatly appreciated. And on the cleaning front, I liked that the building management sends over a cleaning team every couple weeks to clean the lving, kitchen area, so that was a nice touch that also helped a lot. A couple nights the roomies and I ended up having some group meals which was cool, especially when you dont know anyone in the city.Overall, to get an apartment like this for a month was a tremendous value for me. Im only knocking off one star because I wish I had a TV in my room as well, but just streamed on my laptop.
I stayed at the Aerie apartments for about 40 days. There are lot of good things to say about it, and some negatives as well.POSITIVES:[1] Excellent location: only 5-6 miles drive from the Miami South Beach. I had rental car half the time, and used public transport rest of the time, in either case its a great location. There is free parking in street, which I think hard to get anywhere closer to the beach. Walk towards west across the river - there is a bus and metro hub (Government center) with transit connections everywhere, and during my stay all transports were free.[2] Newly constructed building, regularly serviced, equipped with latest technology in security and laundry. Clean minimalistic interior, full kitchen (fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, utensils, bowls, cutleries, pans etc).[3] High speed and stable internet connection, I never had an issue working remotely from here, doing meetings over the internet or streaming any content etc.NEGATIVES:[1] The one thing I hate most about this apartment is their app-based lock. They use SALTO KS app to manage the main entrance and units door. So you have to use your smartphone either remotely or at proximity to the lock to unlock both. In general, when you dont have access to your key (either lost of left inside room) your first help is your phone, now imagine your phone itself is the key - you can land into a very stressful situations if you are not always super-cautious. And it happened twice with me. On 2 different occasions I was locked out.The 1st incident happened when I returned late one night and my phone was out of charge, I had to wait for someone to open the main entrance and had to ask to allow me to tailgate through the building entrance, and for the unit luckily there was another roommate inside who opened the door of the unit for me after knocking. The 2nd incident on Jan-13: I just stepped outside the unit to dispose trash (within the same corridor) and left my phone inside by mistake and was locked out, it was about 10 am, there was no other roommate. I had to roam around for about 5-6 hours outside the area waiting for someone to help me get back my access. The cleaning lady could not help. It was about 4 or 5pm when I finally found some guy from the management team who escorted me to the unit. The doorbox had some emergency call button but that was getting repeatedly disconnected. I think one experience like this is enough for a 1-star review.[2] Laundry in 2nd and 3rd floors - while they boast the concept of app-based payment and not having to deal with quarters is nice, but the app as it is not pay-per-use, you have to reload funds, with a minimum reload amount of $10. After my last use I had few dollar of credits left on the app, and I requested refund back to my credit card. Its been 9 weeks since I moved out and the request is still not processed, and I cannot uninstall the app until it is done. A laundry app doesnt need to hold a deposit of $10, if you use the washer and dryer once ($1.5 + $1.0), the rest of your fund (approx $7.5) will be held indefinitely. Too bad.[3] Insufficient supply of trash bags cause overflown trash and smelling, especially when everyone is cooking, and cockroaches roaming in the common area (see the pictures). On some days I had to drive them out of the unit using their decorative twig tree in the vase as a broomstick.
Loved my apartment + great location to explore Miami.
I had a six month photography course and was looking for affordable rentals near Downtown and Brickell. I was pleasantly surprised to find a brand new building with a coliving apartment concept right by there. It allowed me to move in without dealing with buying furniture, because it was already furnished with all the necessities. And i loved that I could pay one bill and it would take care of everything, including all my utilities and 2x a month house cleaning. I stayed here for several months and met a lot of cool people along the way. TONS of local culture, lots of great cafes and restaurants in Little Havana, like El Gallito and Casa Florida for drinks. Jogging by the Miami River and just get some work done in the sun at Jose marti park was awesome (when it wasnt raining lol). Little Havana seems to be changing a lot, definitely feels like a place in transition, but i always felt safe and secure in the building. If youre looking for coliving in Miami, Id definitely recommend this apartment building.
Love it!!! New building!
Daniels attention is excellent. Respond very immediately to any situation that arises. The place has everything exactly you need. The space is exact, everything well calculated, so when I make my bed, the spaces feel restricted. However, the kitchen is very well equipped, the bathrooms are in good repair, and the laundry and garbage services are in good working order. The surroundings show the reality of Miami on its sour face. A lot of accumulated garbage, abandoned places, homeless people in various places, make the main photo of the place look like a well done montage. However I felt calm and was able to sleep comfortably. Thanks Aerie.
