Be careful!!! I booked a cruise to go to Bahamas. Well Royal Caribbean changed the itinerary and wasn’t going to Bahamas any more.So I called to cancel and they wouldn’t refund me my deposit because I had a non refundable clause. Well if I didn’t want to go were they choose to why I should loose my deposit? Right?! Then, they said, we will give you a credit that you can use within a year but it will be available in 30 to 45 days. That being said if I want to book a cruise next week I won’t have access to my credit. I will have to spend money out of my pocket again. In other words be Aware of this cruise line!

My partner and I, Asians, were on a cruise for Christmas and stopped over at Bahamas for half day. When we came back to the boat, the security guards just let passengers pass with smile without any immigration/security checks except for us. When we showed them our Japanese passports, they immediately opened a security line forcing us to stop, turn our bags upsidedown, bodycheck and everything saying/eye contacting with their colleagues who were just chatting and relaxing, the job. It was totally humiliating and we were like what have we done? We are not a drug smugglers. Asian hate. Racial descriminatin.

I have cruised with them before and had a good experience. I booked a cruise prior to covid which was of course cancelled . Can’t get a refund . They’llOnly give me cruise credits . Their reps were also very rude and condescending.
