Unlike some of the other reviews I sailed on a 12 day trip on the Regent seven seas voyager tour of Italy, Spain and France and from the moment I got on the plane at Miami (business class both ways) until the time I returned I felt like I was living in the life of the rich and famous the boat was spectacular the service was unbelievably good the food was incredible. Our concierge suite was unbelievable it had a walk in closet, there was champagne waiting for us when we arrived in our room. The suite had full bathroom with tub and marble countertops. I sent pics to my friends and they said the bathroom was as big as their room on other cruise lines!!! all of the excursions that we went on were free and they were fantastic with top notch guides I just cant say enough about how good this cruise wasYes the ship is smaller than most but thats perfect for me it only has 700 guests with 450 staff...... now how can that be a bad thing !?!Im kind of amazed at some of the other reviews because I just cant seem to put those reviews together with my experience ......they are complete polar opposites. Im guessing because those must be a review of some booking facility and not the actual boats. The inside of the ship was immaculate and brand new and I felt like I was in a Las Vegas high-end hotel. The food in the main restaurant was unbelievably good service was fantastic I would encourage anyone to spend the money and go on the trip of a lifetime on the seven seas voyager! We cruised Rome, Almalfi coast, Lipari, Sardinia, Vulcano islands, Barcelona, Saint Trope and Monte Carlo.I will never forget it. A first class experience in every respect.Take a serious look into Regent Cruises.....you wont be disappointed !

For anyone anticipating an especially premium or luxury experience on Regent, make sure to look elsewhere. Regent has managed to charge excessive prices for subpar services and accommodations for a while. Its astonishing that Regent Seven Seas has been able to mantain its hollow visage as the worlds most luxurious cruise line. The Regent Navigator would be my temporary home during my 19 day trip. It is the oldest and smallest member of the Regent Seven Seas fleet. The marketing team has performed an amazing hat trick in claiming the Navigators weaknesses are in fact its stengths. The ship has aged beyond the possibility of repair even from the craftiest designers. The interior has an unmistakable gloom. There is a pervasive smell of rank sea water, cigarettes, and kitchen grease. The carpets are faded and the suites have stained popcorn styrofoam cieling panels. In the rooms, there is an off-white/beige plastic which covers all major bathroom amenities that give it the look of an old Motel 6.The great majority of the interesting all-inclusive excursions (which are supposed to account for the exorbitant price mark ups) cost extra. Its easier and far less expensive to call the upcoming destination and privately arrange a tour than to use the concierge the included itinteraries. The seemingly engaging activities were mostly full and were expensive. In this sense, the marketing and executive management of Regency have made fraudulent claims in their marketing of the cruiseliner. With nothing left to distinguish Regency from competition, they promote all inclusive adventures as their signature, and its absolutely rubbish! One luxury which I really look forward to on an all inclusive cruise is room service. When one has a verandah and a balcony, having meals in the privacy of your room (with ever changing vistas) is a fantastic indulgence. The room service onboard the Regent Seven Seas Navigator is horrendous! The food served onboard in all of the restaurants is excellent. The room service menu is extremely limited, the portions are TINY (therefore one has to order multiple items to have a square meal) and the taste could not be more bland. When I found out that the food comes from the same kitchen of the ships largest restarant (that produces a variety of delicious options), I could only think of one explanation to the room service situation. It must cost the ship additional resources and man hours to serve guests room service. Therefore, by deliberately crafting a limited and tastless room service menu, guests are compelled to eat out.The itinerary was poorly designed. I chose this itinerary because of the destinations and the embarkation ports close proximity to my home. When we did finally arrive at a destination, we would often have less than 24 hours at one city, and then two days at another. This created a frenzied sense of urgency to visit the best destinations, and a prolonged stay at less desirable ports. Finally, it seems that Regent Seven Seas cruises has built their business model around taking advantage of wealthy senior citizens that have yet to travel on other Cruise liners. I asked as many guests as I could if they had travelled with another company, and they almost all said no. I understand that I have only travelled on one Regent ship. However, theres clearly been a major effort by cooperate offices to equate all of Regents fleet with their newest ship thats getting news coverage as the worlds most luxurious vessel. I wont say how much I paid, but it was VERY expensive compared to superior competition. I feel obligated to warn those considering travel with this company to go elsewhere. Their marketing and pricing scheme is misleading and borderline fraudulent.

I am a frequent traveler. I have cruised all over the world. Did many cruises with Regent Seven Seas. I dont really understand why people had troubles with their cruises with Regent. I have experienced only the best. I have tried other cruise companies, but I think Regent is the best, thats why I am a frequent passenger there. Most of my cruises were on Mariner or Voyager. Both ships are medium size, 750 passengers capacity and thats perfect for me. I prefer smaller ships, which do not overwhelm me.Therefore I can get the sense of direction around the ship pretty fast. The dining options are great. There are several restaurants on board. My favorite were Prime 7 and Signature. For these restaurants you need a reservation, but its easy to make upon arrival on the first day of the cruise. Staff is very friendly and all well-trained.

Just returned from a great enjoyable cruise from Copenhagen around Russia and found this Crouse line exceptional. Not only the welcoming staff, clean and shine ship, excellent food but the tours provided were with well informed guides. Booking with this line you can be assured of being spoiled!

I need to start by saying this is the most despicable company I have ever encountered. My father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly two weeks prior to my parents leaving on a very expensive cruise. When we reached out to the company to request a portion of the fee to go towards a future cruise (after explaining the situation), they sent back a standard response email saying - no such luck. Should have purchased the insurance. Well, my father was a very healthy individual with no health concerns - so they didnt. The least this company could do is provide a credit on future travel. Unbelievable! We have reached out so many times and they continue to send the same old email. Even WestJet and AirCanada had more class and provided my mother with credit. DO NOT use Regent!

Sailed on the Mariner to Alaska. Aug 30th to Sept 9th. Professional services by all crew. Top captaincy and a highly skilled 1st officers crew. Silver service. Versace plates. Top of the range for cruises. Just some of the passengers were abit hob nobby. But the crew made up for it

My father seems to have had a lot of issues with this company. He gets hundreds of catalogues a year and yet they don’t have an effective management style to deal with complaints.
