I called Disaster Relief Team for mold remediation and water damage due toa small fire. Their response was very quick, they handled every part of the work professionally and provided all detailed paperwork needed by my insurance company. They subcontracted with a New Jersey based contractor to do hurricane restoration in the Keys after Irma and our experience was horrible. There were days when there was no one on the job. The job sat for an entire month without any work being done. They billed us for encapsulation work that was never done and then argued that the work was done. Only after I removed some drywall to show them that they did not spray to encapsulate the wall did they acknowledge that it was not done. I have repeatedly asked for a refund of the $3000 they were paid for encapsulation. My requests have been ignored. Stay away, based on my experience these are not honest people.

My husband and I bought a home and we needed a serious remodel. We contacted Disaster Relief Team and they came out and listened to all of my ideas and even showed us a 3D model of what it was going to look like. After the project started, Tony updated us daily with photos and they even finished faster then the projected time frame. Our new home looks even better than we expected from what we saw on the 3D model. Tony really paid attention to all details through the entire process and we are very happy and satisfied, I would definitely recommend them for any re-model project!

From my first impression thru the cleanup the DRTs team were professional looking, conducted themselves in a professional manner and left the penthouse unit clean. I cant say how very impressed I was with the job they did. The follow up report was impeccable and used to file the claim with the insurance company.After the leak, the team showed up at 20 minutes after our called. That night and magically, the smell was gone, the floors were clean and the air was breathable again. They are fully insured and our residents felt comfortable going home to sleep, while they worked thru the night. They came over the same day we called and provided a detailed breakdown of how best to remedy the issue and provided a detailed estimate the next day. They were the only company who truly knew how to address the issue and suggest additional solutions that no other company even thought of. We also agreed on a start date and time.On the day the work was to begin they showed up on time, prepped, protected all furniture and appliances and completed the work over the course of the next several days. They always left the job site clean and orderly and were respectful of our home in every way, they made us feel very comfortable. The owner went out of his way to communicate clearly and provided help and assistance on another small matter outside the scope of work at no extra charge.The results were fantastic and we could not have been more pleased.
