Carlos was extremely helpful and did a diagnostic of all the new appliances. Original call was because both the refrigerator and stove were not leveled. Our experience was an excellent one. Appointment was easy to arrange. The service representative showed up on time, intuitively understood the issue, worked rapidly and efficiently. He had to order a part and was clear and realistic about when to expect delivery. A few days later, we received an email that the part had arrived, upon which we arranged an appointment the next day. Flamingo is a role model for appliance service companies. Theyre simply excellent!

This was a selected service provider from my KitchenAid warranty. Unfortunately, while everyone is nice, after 4 visits to my house over a 4 month period, our fridge still doesnt work. Each time they came out, they prescribed a fix... 1) shut it off for a week, then turn it back on... 2) this sealed system part is the issue, wait 4 weeks for the part and we will come back... 3) comes back with the part and a new tech says the sealed system isnt the issue, he wont replace the part because its a different issue. Order a different part... 4) after 4 weeks of waiting for the part and an additional 3 weeks to get on their calendar (they wont put you on ahead of time) ... My day to have my fridge fixed has come and somehow my appointment was removed from the calendar, the part is in, but Ill have to wait a week.Everyone is nice, dont get me wrong... But I want a fridge that works... Not 4 months of being jerked around.

The actual Repair People were very good and really seemed to care, but Flamingo as a company seems to be dedicated to making it as difficult as possible to receive any warranty service, to discourage you from attempting to avail yourself of free warranty repairs, and to run out your warranty time-they are like the big health insurance providers who bog you down in an impossible system with rules and admin and customer unfriendly policy until you give up and walk away, or go out of pocket and pay somebody reasonable for what should be free.So even if the repair people care, their hands are tied and they are prevented from really helping you, by two giant corporate machines.If Whirlpool really cared about its customers, it would not force you to use Flamingo for all warranty repairs, but indeed they do- they say in Florida there is no other option. Its the worst experience I have ever had.It would also help if Whirlpool would build better products under the very pricey Jennair brand- I have 4 brand new appliances and 3 of them are defective. Not only are they broken, but the oven in particular is an absolute safety hazard by design. The oven shelves retract automatically at a high speed when the oven is operational and pans are on the shelves, making it almost impossible to pull out a pan of food safely- I already have one bad burn on my arm are as a result of this. Its honestly ridiculous that this is intentional, but according to Flamingo it is.I cant tell anyone what appliances to buy, but I can say I would never ever have a Jennair appliance in my home again. Truly awful.Response to OwnerIf you really valued peoples time, you would not give people an 8 Hour window for repairs. Your guys have been to my home more than once for the same problems with the oven, and have not been able to fix it.The compliment was to the service man- you should not take his credit. His concern cant replace your lack there of.

I know plenty of nerds who are passionate about what they do. Like... really passionate. I have not met that in any appliance repairman until meeting Jeremy.The dude rolled in with the exact parts in hand he needed to repair my washer without having inspected it first. He proceeded to talk the entire time explaining to me everything he was doing, what went wrong with both the bad part AND WHY that bad part was used in my washer in the first place.He managed to replace the broken parts in minutes, and while running a few test cycles he went on to inspect our dryer... because it was there. He tweaked the door so it would close better and then explained some maintenance procedures to do every now and then.Once everything checked out, he took a look at our dishwasher and complimented it and said it was in great shape before leaving. The whole experience was no more than 30 minutes and we magically have complimentary floor mat now.Yeah, this is the guy you want.

Eddie diagnosed the problem for us correctly. We thought we had a refrigerator leak, possibly the ice maker, but upon removing the built-in refrigerator, he discovered our water valve was leaking from the wall behind it. He explained all the options and worked quickly. We will use Flamingo Appliance Service in the future.

Albaro arrived on time. Very professional and polite. Our refrigerator was not cooling properly. Albaro determined that the Evaporator fan was not working. He was able to retrieve a new Fan assembly from the Truck and complete the installation. In less than an Hour the job was Accomplished!

The tech that came to the house was a 5/5. Very professional and courteous. He explained everything and was done in under 10 min diagnosing and repair the fridge. Knocked off one star because the first appointment I had the technician asked me over the phone what was wrong and when I explained it he said I would be charged a high price as warranty would no longer cover repair. Thats not what I was told would be the process from Kitchen Aid and sure enough Im glad I cancelled and rescheduled. New technician told me it was a known problem and the company was indeed covering the repair.

The online appointment system works great! I got the same day response and was scheduled for 1 week, which was not bad. I received confirmation of the appointments via e-mail, the time window I was given was fulfill and the tech arrived on time. As it was raining tech had shoe covers, mask, etc. Very professional and courteous. I had a great experience for the service of my Maytag drier. kudos

Alex was great, very efficient and competent. I was unhappy with the companys scheduling process. I was given a day that they were coming and had to wait until the evening before to get a 3 hour window. Basically I had to be able to be home the entire day because they could not give me an approximate time until the night before. I am in a condo so I asked if they could just get a key from security and come up to my unit without me being home. They would not agree. They wanted me to be here. In this day and age, I cant believe how un customer friendly this whole process was. Please review your policies and procedures to accommodate your customers.

I had an issue with my families Kitchenaid microwave. I called Flamingo Appliances because it was one of the repair companies that fell under the Kitchenaid appliance warranty, Im glad I did.My repair technician was Marcelo Macaya -- he was both knowledgeable and very professional. He did everything in his power to help me with my issue finding me whatever discounts he could.When he left not a day later, the microwave had a different issue that it didnt have before. Six weeks ago, the temperature in our refrigerator went up to 60 degrees.We called a repair company, and they determined that the refrigerator needed a new UI board, but the part has been on backorder for more than 1 year.I called KitchenAide and was told that Flamingo Appliance needed to service the refrigerator.Miguel arrived right on time, asked me what the problem was, looked at the refrigerator for 5 minutes and told me that the problem is NOT the UI board - rather, it needs a new fan assembly.I showed Miguel the receipt/report from the first company I called - and it clearly stated that the UI board needed to be replaced.Miguel chuckled and said they dont know what they are talking about.I asked Miguel how long it would take to get the fan and he smiled and went out to his truck and brought in the fan assembly.I asked him how in the world he knew the problem was the fan and he told me that he looked at the work order and immediately knew it was the fan.An hour later the refrigerator was up and running.You cant do better than that.

Worker took 3 days to get to job. Worker came 3 hours late on a Friday evening. Worker refused to give me a quote until I paid $135 which wouldn’t come off the bill. Maytag referred company on my 2 year old machine which has suspension issues. Absolute brutal company to do business with. I couldn’t get a quote on repair till I paid $135 on a $500 machine. Worker wouldn’t give me an estimate on the suspension issue until I paid for him to drive to job which he did late. Gongshow of company

I was experiencing issues with my washer where it would start and once it hit the rinse cycle, it would stop. I called Flamingo Appliance Service being I had used them once in the past for my dryer, and Manny (the same guy who came in the past) came to service my washer. Eddie called days before service and on service appointment day 30 minutes before arrival. Icemaker box was completely frozen and not operational, after defrosting and loosening up access panel, a nice cleaning and then testing the ice crusher he provided instructions on how to deal with future issues. The issue was insufficient use of the ice maker, we are now using it at least 3-4 x a day.

Flamingo has come to my apartment to try and fix my refrigerated twice for my tenant. It is now running worse than before. They refused to come back even though I have a warranty through whirlpool and they are their service company. Finally, once settled with whirlpool after many, many phone calls between the two companies, flamingo agreed to send a tech for the third time. I requested a different tech, a master tech, and flamingo agreed. However, the original tech (who basically broke my fridge and is stating it is fine) showed up. I’m so frustrated and ready to give up. This is not right. Let’s see who they send tomorrow..

I had a refrigerator that suddenly stopped cooling. I called another company to come look at it that turned out to be mostly useless. They correctly diagnosed the problem as being a refrigerant leak, but they did not have anybody that could fix a refrigerant leak. So I called in Flamingo. I was a little hesitant due to the high minimum labor charge, expecting the chances were high that the repair would be too expensive to be worth it and Id just end up paying another diagnostic fee and then buying a new fridge. But I decided to take the shot.They came right on time - a little earlier actually - and got to work, also confirming that the problem was a refrigerant leak, but they could fix it. The refrigerator is only 2 years old but out of warranty. However, the technician called the manufacturer and was able to get approval for a one-time repair under warranty anyway. An hour later, maybe a little less, and it was done, with no out of pocket cost for me, and it is now cooling like new again.Thanks!

The service person pointed out from the beginning that there was no solution for the problem Im experiencing with my JennAir range. I also pointed out an additional issue with the spark ignitor in one burner, and the quote to repair it was $430. Pricy from my point of view. I ended up paying for the diagnostic $134 and couldnt solve the problem.

On Sept. 9th, we saw that water was dripping down onto our kitchen floor from the bottom of our freezer drawer. It seems that somehow, a 1/2 inch thick layer of ice had formed on the bottom of the drawer and was now defrosting. There was so much water that it was starting to drip down to the apartment below mine. I called Flamingo and scheduled an appointment for Sept. 16th, but I had to call back and ask them for an immediate appointment so that the water would not cause any damage to the apartment below.Fortunately, they understood my dilemma and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Friday, Sept. 10th.Their technician arrived on time on the 10th, found the problem and cleared it and the refrigerator is fine.I truly appreciate their response and service and rest assured knowing that Im in good hands whenever my refrigerator/freezer is in need of service.
