I couldn’t be happier with the work that Esteban provided for my family and I. My AC was freezing and I couldn’t figure out why? The first 2 technician from other companies couldn’t figure out the problem but Esteban figured there was a leak coming from the coils. I was also advised that the AC coil was covered under its warranty. Esteban was honest, on time and extremely knowledgeable.I will definitely use his company in the future.A ++++

I called for a repair of my refrigerator ice maker leaking at 9:30 am today. Esteban and Aaron were in the area and came by within an hour. They were very professional and courteous. They explained every step in the repair and had the part in their van. The job was complete by 11:30 am. I had a great experience using Mikes Appliance Service. It is somewhat unusual to see so many 5-star reviews for one company on Yelp/Google so I was willing to wait an extra day to have Esteban come out to my house in Coconut Grove. The communication was excellent and once they arrived, it took Esteban and Aaron less than an hour to diagnose and resolve the problems with my LG dryer. Their price was very reasonable as well. Id give an extra star if I could for speaking perfect English; I know I am the outlier in Miami, but not being able to speak Spanish frequently causes me issues with this sort of thing. Not today. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in Miami in need of appliance repair.

I texted Esteban in the evening last night and he was at home the very next morning. He had an opportunity to charge me to replace my water heater, instead took the time to figure out the real problem and go above and beyond to fix it and make me happy. He was on time, kind, and extremely fair, charging me only a service call fee. He also took a look at my air conditioning while he was there - opened all the vents and fixed some poor work from the previous repairman. Would highly recommend him for any and everything.

For the past few months Ive had issues with my AC leaking and freezing over. The first AC technician did a shoddy job that left our AC with more problems than it initially had. We had another technician come in and take a look, he mostly just fixed some pipes and a sensor, didnt really take the time to actually troubleshoot and see what was wrong.Yesterday, I gave Esteban a call and he was headed over within 4 hours. He came in, checked the unit, troubleshoot a few key factors, and within an hour he found out the solution. Definitely a must use if you need your AC fixed in a flash. We were desperate to find an honest person to repair our air conditioner. Mike AC and Appliance Repair is an honest company that does excellent work at affordable prices. There are so many people that do a bad job and take your money. However, Mike / Esteban is a diamond in the rough. He was on time and was very good at communicating and listening, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, does great work. He diagnosised the problem with our AC unit and showed me immediately where was the leak. He even went the extra mile to check if there were any problems on the roof with the outside unit. (Thank goodness it was only the inside unit). They did an efficient job replacing the coils, welding, filling it up, and patching up the new unit. Now, the AC is very cold and not leaking.Out of all the people we called, he was the only one that told us about warranty. He save us a ton of money. We are going to use him in the future because he also does repairs on appliances, small electrical,and plumbing jobs. Its really hard to find an honest repairman in S Florida and theres a reason he has an excellent ratings online. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mike AC and Appliance Repair.

I decided to make the call due to the other reviews, and Mike definitely did not disappoint. I got lucky and he was in my area. He responded on Veterans day, just minutes after my call and was very professional, polite, and straight forward from the start. He checked both my washing machine and my stove that were giving me issues. He was able to answer my questions and explain to me in detail what and why his diagnostics was what it was, in a simple manner that I was able to understand. I will definitely call him back when other appliances start to fall apart. Mike is fluent in both English and Spanish, so I am glad I was able to talk to him with no problems of a bad accent. Esteban and a nice guy helped do all I asked, checking our washer, which was working fine, to do maintainence, the dryer needed a part which we had, they gladly installed it, checked it, did a thorough job, understood what we need for venting the dryer, were fantastic and charged just a minimal 85.00 for the call. I contacted Esteban at Mike’s Appliance Service because the washing machine is not filling with water and the spin cycle is not working. Esteban checked the washer and noticed the switch was bad and also the transmission was no good, so the washer is not worth repairing. Although, he came out to my home twice I was only charged for 1 service call. I was kept informed about his arrival via text and Esteban was punctual and knowledgeable. I have a rental property in Sabal Chase in Miami. My tenant told me that the washer is not washing the cloths well. I called Mike because I read the great reviews he received on this site. He came and checked, and told me that nothing is wrong with the washer and charged me $85 for the visit. I paid him the sum, although he did not do anything, and since then I am asking him for the receipt, and he keeps ignoring me. I will report him to the IRS, and will never use him again.

I had an A/C guy for a long time, then (as it normally happens) we had a disagreement and I started searching for a new one. Thanks to Yelp I found Mike’s A/C & Appliance Repairs. I used him around a year ago for my home AC, it was spot on! Then I scheduled a maintenance visit for a rented apartment, that was perfect too, and now he checked my home watcher (Samsung) and recommend me to buy a new one instead of throwing over $500 in repairs. As I write this review he is also checking the rented apartment watcher that had problems last weekend, by the symptoms he things it should be a quick and easy fix. Stay tune for updates since this type of services are needed periodically….I can tell you that Esteban, his assistance (which has being the same guy since the first time I deal with them) and obviously his father who founded this company many years ago are HONEST PEOPLE.
