The location is great,access to the rooms is great with multiple entrances,the hotel is secure and in a decent quiet business area of Doral. Apart from better internet service i would highly recommend this Hotel.
The place has signs saying it was smoke free but I get in the room and it had remnants of stale smoke smells. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Bathroom had a decent sized nice mirror and the window opens which made the stay alot easier considering the smell. Not a good place to stay if you want a view
Great stay while in Miami. Sherrie was very welcoming at the front desk and accommodated all of my needs. However, they still use the Covid excuse to keep their pool closed along with their continental breakfast. If youre booking here for a free breakfast/pool, book somewhere else. If youre booking for a nice place to stay while you grab breakfast somewhere else and head to south beach later in the day this place is for you.
It had roaches stained mirrors and a very awful smell in the hallways and elevator. The tv didn’t work and the bathroom and mirror were gross. The beds were also very gross and the bathroom was also gross. We do not recommend this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! VERY DIRTY AND HAD BUGS! It was also smaller than the picture and we expected better and cleaner room. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

The room/bed were clean but the windows were covered with so much dirt you could not see out. Staff was helpful and location was convenient. Due to covid the pool and other amenities were closed. Breakfast opened back up on our check out day for continental style prepackaged items. The front elevator broke down but fortunately the rear elevator worked. Not the Ritz but sufficient for our needs and just steps from some amazing restaurants.
The location and clean bed are the only benefits. The room is dated, smelly and musty. The breakfast is just sugary items. The showers are old although the bathroom is fairly ample.

Room had an odor, floors were dirty, grass outside was uncut and full of ants. Not worth $215 a night, I have had better stays at motels. The only plus was that they allow pets.
I am a big fan of la quinta but this location is terrible. Dont get me wrong, the employees are kind and helped out as much as they could but this is not their fault. For starters, the hotel looks like it hasnt been updated in 20 years. The pool was closed the whole 3 nights we were there which is a minor inconvenience. For a hotel with breakfast included, the breakfast was nonexistent; breakfast was coffee and juice with prepackaged muffins, granola bars, oranges yogurts and make it yourself oatmeal packages. It was underwhelming to say the least. Our rooms never got cleaned while we were there, I would have at least expected housekeeping to come in and make our beds, take out trash and give us clean towels. The mini fridge and tub were fixed immediately so I was happy for that but there are what looks like ants all around the hotel. We couldnt use the coffee maker in our room bc it had ants, they were in the rest room and some parts of the room. I think this maybe in part to the lack of housekeeping and extermating. The hotel is super close to the airport without a doubt you do hear airplans at night so keep that in mind if you book here.
Checked in perfectly. It has all the Social Distancing measurements. Rooms are pretty clean and their stuff were very kind. Quite a nice hotel to stay :)

Breakfast consisted of a muffin, a bottle of water, and a pot of fruit in a paper bag. the room they gave us had in the fridge some tacos with salsa bitten by previous customers, disgusting, the extra bed we asked for was dusty but full and dirty, the room is never ready, you have to ask at reception what you need because not They raise it, and if you are going to leave the suitcase until time to leave and it is full where they keep their suitcases they tell you that they cannot keep it, the price we paid per night was $ 300 for a terrible service, the breakfast area is not Open, they give you the paper bag with the breakfast when you make the reservation. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. We change rooms that yes.

Stayed here for one night and we’re satisfied. Pet friendly (no extra charge, we brought our cat), the room was comfortable and everything seemed clean. The staff was super helpful and friendly (The receptionist helped work something out for us when we had to arrive early because of a change in flight) and two other men in the evening that helped us with figuring out some transportation.The only thing I wish I would have known was that due to Covid, there is no breakfast and the pool and gym are not available, which was a little disappointing. They do serve coffee though.If you’re not from Miami, it’s important to note that the hotel is 7 miles from the airport and 13 miles from Miami Beach. There are some restaurants and stores just a couple miles away.Overall I would stay here again (after things go back to normal so I get breakfast and swim in the pool!)
Positive: It was much better than I expected for a 2-star hotel. The room was really spacious with a desk, mini-fridge, and microwave. It was mostly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very easy check-in. Nice front desk staff. Easy parking. Negative: The furniture in the room, including the microwave, look like theyre from the 80s. I had a couple of issues in the bathroom - the shower had a slow drain and the toilet didnt flush properly.
Laquinta earns the all time low as the first hotel I have seen without hot water. For a $179 a night you would expect more than a freezing shower. The room also lacked basic amenities like a fridge and microwave. How hard could it be to put a fridge in a room? Guests have to use a microwave in the lobby and that can be frustrating. Their idea of breakfast is a bottled water and muffin.
Dreadful waking up to the bathroom and finding a roach infestation. It was a very unpleasant experience. I will never return and I will not recommend it.
This is poor quality never seen hotel, the lobby looks good but when you get the elevators that is a trash is when the party begins. Not recommended at all. expensive as a 5* class and chip quality motel. i ask for a non-smoking room and all the rooms available smells like a cigar shop store.

Staff was great and helpful but as soon as you left the lobby it smelled like someone was smoking weed and trying to hide it with perfume. It was throughout the hotel. There was trash outside of almost every room like tomorrow was garbage day.I will say that if you can get over that it is conveniently located across from a strip mall with great food.

Positive: The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Negative: The staff was not welcoming, and the male clerk kept pulling his mask down to speak. The windows of our room with filthy and moldy and the carpet could have used a good cleaning. Breakfast was not available, so it was basically false advertising.
Said they ran out of conditioner. Breakfast was a muffin and a fruit cup, was not satisfying whatsoever. Pool was closed due to COVID, which I didn’t see on the website when I booked the hotel. But the staff was nice at the front desk at least.
The location was very convenient. Although it is located in a busy area in Doral, it was quiet. Close to several restaurants, like Carolinas Ale House. Check in was very easy with minimal contact. Staff was very friendly. The elevator has a bottle of hand sanitizer in it. The room was big and comfortable. Television had many options. The bed was comfortable. The only issue was the toilet. It was too low to the ground.

Please go elsewhere. I always check the bed as soon as I enter a hotel. The sheets on the bed were NASTY. They were heavily stained and there were crumbs in the bed. When I called the front desk to let her know my issue her response was, Well housekeeping just left out of there. Im like what does that have to do with anything? There was noise in the hallway ALL hours of the night. Now I saved the best for last.They have roaches!!! 🤮 I just read a review with another person saying that while in bed my first and only night, but I thought that I was one of the lucky ones whose room was free of friends, but the next day I saw one crawling on the tv. I couldnt relax after seeing that. I was officially ready to check out because enough was enough. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Thats what I get for being cheap. #YouGetWhatYouPayFor
I asked for internet to manage my conference call from my room. No internet. I was promised it would be up by the next night. Again no internet. They make excuses that they outsource the internet and tell me this 6 floor hotel is full so they cant move me. Not true. They did not visit the room to clean or resupply. I would not recommend this location. I have little use for dishonesty.

La Quinta was a nice place to stay the price was good, Ive actually stayed in better places, but the noise was terrible. The individual staying there had no consideration of their neighbors yelling, fighting, dogs barking, it was not a very good experience.
So I went to three rooms each three room had hair on the floor in the bed neither one of the three TVs was working they had red stuff on the bed not only on the bed on the sheets the bed pad had it in the microwave was very dirty very very. a smelly Bowl of food was left in the microwave refrigerator was dirty bad business there very bad business they took my money at 6 check in with between 3 and 4 but I dont understand why they take my money already telling me I cant get my my money back out of my card you should have did that I never been to a hotel where they take my money before I get there when I specifically said I was going to pay you when I get there bad business Bad Business wouldnt recommend it to No One Bad Business

Room was dirty. Hallways and stairwells were equally dirty. The drawers still had garbage in them from the last guest....and the kicker - the bathroom floor was gross. I trusted the 4 star google review...but Im not sure it deserves anything close to that.Airport shuttle, housekeeping, pool and breakfast were all not operating due to COVID.RESPONSE TO THE OWNER RESPONSE - This was my first, and likely last stay at a LaQuinta. Im still here and there are dogs barking 2am. I could go on and on. The lack of management at this facility is amazing. I didnt expect the Ritz but I did expect clean and orderly.

No safe in the room. TV wouldnt come on, checked it and the wires were loose. Tv wifi connection went out later on and again wires were loose. Not the best looking area to stay, but we walked around a bit and it was very chill. Did have one morning where several officers were blocking my car in to talk to one person for about an hour just to let him go on his way. #wastehistime2021Room was a little outdated, but clean.
I know amenities were closed during to covid, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was a very broken in dip in the mattress.
I called La Quinta directly to book the reservation only 20 minutes before arriving. I paid over the phone. Upon arriving, twenty minutes later, the staff told us that the room was not available and they only had more expensive rooms available. What a scam! There Is no way that this should be acceptable. I would have never booked or came if they were going to charge that much over. Upon checkout, I heard someone arguing with the staff over having the same exact problem. Clearly this is a scam hotel, do not stay there, they uncharge their rooms upon arrival and its a drug den.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I booked this place for 1 night after traveling for hours. I trusted this place to provide me with excellent service and instead I left with an insane headache and stress. I traveled with my service animal and upon arriving to my room the bathroom was COVERED in FLEAS!! The floor is all carpet as well throughout the hotel so they were probably all over the entire room/hallways leading to the room I was assigned.I immediately went back down to get a refund and left to stay somewhere else.In the 15 minutes I was there (checking in and arriving to the room) my poor service dog is now COVERED In fleas! I now have to deal with getting them off her which of course is not an easy thing to do at all.The hotel definitely knew this was an issue as well because when I stated why I wanted an immediate refund they did not even question or hesitate to give me back my money right then and there.DO NOT STAY HERE! ITS COVERED IN FLEAS!!!!
Terrible place to be, I only stayed here because everything else was booked I actually would have been better of sleeping in my car. Mini fridge broke, room dirty, no amenities what so ever, no customer service any where, dirty rooms, bathroom toilet did not flush and the list goes onnnnnnnnnnnn.
Positive: The A/C was very cold, and nice, and the area was quiet, during the night for sleep. However, there was only 3 pillow on a kingsized bed, and bathroom had no vent for humidity when showering, and door to the hotel room, was damaged, Negative: Location, roads closed off for voting, and bathroom needed a vent. Light did not work at desk, in hotel room.
Positive: And yeah, as published on the website “Free breakfast†. That is really cheap and you do not comply. Negative: The elevator is dirty. In the days I was there I did not see any cleaning done. The hand sanitizer is empty for a few days or weeks. I have not had towels replenished when I was there. Do not come and tell me it is COVID. That not a valid reason. Shame.

I checked in the pool gym & spa is closed. My room key was not working at all. Luckily the house keeper was around and let me in the door was very difficult to open. I then called front desk and requested new keys and for someone to check my door and it was more then 1 hour wait. Extremely annoyed and won’t ever return here.
I was being cheap and was looking for a hotel in this specific area for my specific reasons. I will say this was definitely a lesson learned and will never go “cheap” again. I would NOT recommend this hotel. At least 45 mins after check in we saw a roach. I let the front desk know, he apologized and gave me a room change. Next morning, my mom used the restroom in our new room we were moved to and saw another roach. Calmly, I went back down stairs and was offered ANOTHER new room (supposedly an “upgrade”) and some money back. I took the offer only to see the new room furniture was outdated and the sheets had stains all over them as if they had not been cleaned after the previous guest. This hotel is NOT it, AT ALL. DO NOT STAY! If you choose to stay here and have no other choice bring your own sheets and pillow cases (I did) because I swear the only thing the “cleaning” ladies do is wipe down counter tops and use the same sheets after every guest. No exaggeration.
Stayed here a week, and nobody ever came to change the towels, or take out the trash. Tried calling the front desk, the phone in the room is connected but not connected. Called with my cellphone, no answer calling the front desk. It asked for a code after it rings. Never even saw anyone to ask them to bring new towels and take out the trash, no one was at the front desk when I went.
Yes. I love the fact that the Wyndham has the no smoking policy in effect. However, everyone is not playing by the same rules. This is a (FACT) I have seen people smoking and blowing the smoke out the windows. Also, when trying to sleep and night and some early mornings too I would smell weed sent coming into my ROOM. I am speaking in particularly about the Wyndham located on (so and so) I love my favorite room now Room 624 on the top floor, towards the end of the Hall. I have also stayed in room 506, and room 524, but my favorite room now is Room 624! Guests need to understand that Personnel might be walking the halls enforcing the no smoking policy, as this needs to be taken very seriously these days, to see if everyone is complying with the no smoking policy. And if the Personnel has probable cause of Guest smoking, they can be asked to vacate the premises, and given their money back, because they are complying with the rules, and putting others at risk, even more so with COVID-19 lurking, it’s not healthy to breath, or inhale other people’s vapes, smoke, or smells under any circumstance especially now with COVID-19. I do not like the smell of vapes, cigarettes, or weed, I am A healthy lifestyle person.Sincerely yours Room 624Thank you
Positive: Nothing was a worse nightmare I had in my live. Negative: The front desk lady was so rude and unhelpful, hotel was dirty and smelly. Bathtub was oxidized and mattress had a big hole that forced you to stay in the corner of the bed .
Place was clean, staff was friendly. I loved the fact that they are pet friendly and no charge for animals. Highly recommended.

I would NEVER EVER recommend this place...they dont follow the rules they set. My room was smokey and i found burt tabaco papers next to my bed from the previous guest that stayed there. Apparently they DONT CLEAN the rooms i found long straings of hair on my towel and theres no hot water. I was very very dissatisfiedNever again!!

Great location, near interstates and highways. Lots of very good restaurants in the neighborhood to choose from. Clean quiet area. Hotel was very clean with lots of parking space. Breakfast was the same everyday with very few varieties. Tea & coffee served all day. Staff was friendly with attentive people making sure that breakfast items were replenished as soon as they run out. Fast internet. Not too many cable channel choices though.
That elevator needs to be fixed and I dont know how they dont have cameras in the hallways or elevator..but it was coo otherwise
Check-in was rough as I though I booked directly but somehow the number I got off the website was apparently a third party. But, the staff on hand was very helpful and understanding. Room was very dated and warn. Needs major upgrades throughout. A/C only on in rooms, not in hallways...which might explain the mold smell that was not covered up by the massive amount of floral scented something that was so strong I couldnt sleep and was sick in the AM. Personal driver to the airport was very professional and early which was great! Again, staff was awesome - property needs help.

First a shout out for keeping the hotel pet friendly. For a low priced hotel the clientele is nice, mostly families and cruise line transfer passengers. There are some restaurants and a Dunkin Donuts across the street. Staff is friendly. Could be cleaner and fresher. Room tended to be warm at night even with AC cranking. They were always running out of coffee at breakfast. A staff member said their coffee maker is malfunctioning. More airport noise than you would expect. Perfectly fine for a short stay and better than many pet friendly hotels.

I arrived before midnight and nobody was at the front desk. The taxi driver knocked on the office door and asked for assistance. When the man came out we asked for help with the luggage and the reply was that they don’t provide that service. So the taxi driver ended up helping me out with the luggage. The breakfast is not bad, pretty basic. On the other hand, the Hotel is near the airport and the shuttle driver was nice.

The rooms smelled musty and the heater was broke & tub was stopped up. Black lady at the counter had a mean attitude and wasn’t friendly at all. Elevator was rusty and old, i will never come and stay there again.
They lied about everything I asked. I asked about the pool was it working they said yes I asked if the shutters are working to the airport they say yes andupon arrival everything was closed. They said the shuttle wasnt working for months and the is under construction. Wow!
It took me awhile to find appropriate place because I was driving a truck. This La Quinta was able to accommodate me. Best nights sleep Ive had in a while. Clean and all the amenities I need. Iike that they have USB and plug ins everywhere. Because of the covid, I could find anything to eat close by.
