We had an amazing stay here. Having a washer and dryer in the room was is now a must for me when traveling with my whole family. Very beneficial. This room was everything that was portrayed online. The valet was the only fallback. Only because we had an excessive amount of luggage and we’re used to taking our time unloading. I am very happy with our stay. If we ever come back to Miami we will be staying here. Only with an ocean view instead of a bay view (which was also beautiful).
My Stay at 5445 Collins Ave in the Castle Beach Club, Room 1629; completely and utterly disgusting. To make matters even worse, this room is rented through an Airbnb host named Jessica. I have booked numerous times through Airbnb and I have never once come across such false advertisements as this. Keep in mind this room cost nearly 400$ a night. Upon entering the establishment, the lobby decor and etc are beautiful. But as soon as you leave the lobby and get off of your floor, you feel like youre in a motel from the 70s. Dirty walls, that 70s carpet, yellow dim lights. But it doesnt stop there, upon entering the room; and I will provide photo evidence of everything I say, it was worse. The fridge, my grandmas fridge. Mind you it was also empty, but that really isnt a complaint, but it is very respectable if the room has no drinking water to offer some. But nothing, as we leave behind water, juice, and soda, is still sealed for others. The microwave, a tiny square. The lightbulb just like the hallway, dim yellow lights. The handle for the water in the shower, broken. The sink in the bathroom falling out of place, the grout in the bathroom full of stains. Numerous holes in the wall that the owners were too lazy to properly fix, but rather paint over. The rust on the curtains, the door handles. The bedside lamp doesnt even work and it looks like dirt is on it. The furniture in the room has its wood chipped off, both on the tv and bedside. Listen I can go on and on and the Airbnb hosts inept ability to see something wrong with her apartment is sad in itself. For this kind of money just go to a well-respected establishment instead of trying new resorts. Ive learned my lesson. My child couldve kept this place in better condition. Oh and to top it all off, everything you buy is a forced 18% gratuity. So keep that in mind too.
To start off our anniversary first morning at 6:15 in the morning the fire 🔥 alarm went off witH no warning to the guests. Had to walk down 16 flights of stairs ( I have a disablity similar to MS) this gave him a huge flare up, and my back and legs were so sore the whole vacation was ruined!! Make matters worse we found out they were testing their alarm!!! At 6:30 am?? Who does that!!Next was the fact that when we arrived we were super tired and hungry, tiki bar closed so we went to the on-site restaurant “ blue gin” absolutely one of the worst restaurant experience ever! Wait staff was super rude and it was super expensive.. but it was our anniversary so I ordered the filet mignon.. it came out super well done and tasted like that weird taste of you have ever tried to cook meat in your microwave!Sent it back only to get one completely raw in the center ( and strange color and smell.. eww!Husband ordered the stir fry w chicken served w no rice? Weird?Music at pool with people w their personal radios trying to out play each other and then throw the mix of the loud obnoxious music playing at the tiki bar ( which was then opened) made for not a relaxing experience!!Valley system also screwed up, nice guys buy short staffed..Would definitely NOT recommend!
Very poor customer service. Check in staff was very rude. Stained carpets throughout the hallways. Paint job desperatly needed throughout the hallways of the hotel. Our first night at the hotel we get a knock on the door from security at 11:30 pm telling us that we were assigned the wrong room and to pack up our belongings and head downstairs to check to get keys to our new room only to find out that our room had been given away. The desk clerk begins to have a nasty attitude when we mentioned to him in a friendly manner that we suspected we had be given the wrong room since the online description did not match what we were had been assigned. Honestly we thought that maybe the description online was just over exaggerated to appear better than it actually was. The desk clerk then snaps at me telling us in a stern manner that we should have spoken up right away. As if this was our fault. After waiting 45 minutes or longer the desk clerk (security) approaches us and begins to apologize for his rude behavior and admits that upon check in he failed to compare the requested photo ID with the actual name on the reservation. We agreed to go back to the original room assigned and to resolve the matter in the morning.Hoping for a better day!
After reading some reviews, we didnt think it could be that bad because there were some positive reviews but it was worse than expected. Just goes to show that Google reviews are not dependable and you should seek out opinion from trusted sources. Only valet parking, which we didnt know and only includes one parking space even for large groups. If you have an extra car, you will be charged their regular valet parking rate up $36 for 24 hours and there is no in and out allowed. Smelled like weed in the hallway everyday. Found blood stains on random areas including on towels, furniture and even on curtain. Not in walkable distance to restaurants. Beware, not a family friendly atmosphere.
We at casa beach 5445 collins apt was amazing
If I could give this place 0 stars I would because of the valet. By far the worst valet experience I have ever had. Valets are supposed to be convenient, however this valet took 45+ minutes to get into the building and 45+ to leave. I would rather park my car 1 mile away and walk my bags to the hotel. The room was amazing, however I would never return because of this unprofessional valet which looked like it was their first day due to how unorganized it was. A shame...
A come stay..I love it, but I live here and its been a nice place for me for awhile now.
Just checked in and valet rushed us out car to move the line and we left money in middle console. Someone went in and stole $2600 from us. Valet manager does not seem to care. No one would pull cameras. Cops came but most our vacay money is gone now.I want to update for tha actual apartment. Was not their fault valet stole from us. They gave us 3 free nights and were the only ones who listened to me and believed me.Valet said he has a lead but cant tell me. I have noticed one person who first took our car gone since that incident. But no one will tell me anything. He said the cops will call me.
Our room was fine. The view was awesome. We had a balcony apartment with the perfect ocean view. The beds were good, too, and it was very clean. The problem was with the operation of the whole establishment. There are multiple entities involved in running this building. Its weird. There are so many rules and petty regulations, it makes it much less fun. It has valet parking, so you cant forget anything in your car. Also, $3.50 for a cup of black coffee, with no refills and no warning? (Husband and I spent $21 for morning coffee to go with $20 worth of food -- a ham and cheese omelet and bagel breakfast sandwich.) Just beware.
Office workers are so kind and hardworking. They make sure if you have an issue it is resolved quickly. My room had a TV that didn’t work. They quickly replaced it and were very nice about it.
Horrible Place!Dirty, filthy, old. Doesnt even look 1% of the pictures that they post. False marketing.First we got a room in the first floor which was an apartment and it was so bad. Not recommended at all
Great views, easy beach access and decent pool. A few guests were of questionable character.
I rented from airbnb from Lorenzo, Room number 1545.The room was horrible, dirty, old trash was left from previous renters. The bathroom was the worse, sink was clogged, had to use the kitchen sink to brush my teeth. The smell through the building was bad, mildew and urine. Beds were comfortable. Only had 1 channel on the tv. No phone service in the building, had to go outside. Valet parking took forever and they had no other option but to park 2 blocks away, no gloves or hand was being used in between cars, we all know its covid.
Clean and comfortable@
Worse nightmare ever!!! Avoid PH 12!!Our first night of holiday in Miami, we were super excited. However, we couldnt sleep at all since we werent alone, the mattress were infected with bed bags. It was a really nightmare, We killed some of them but I was awake all the night checking my kids and myself. Obviously, we complained in the morning and after a man came and checked the spots of blood and the bed bag body, they gave us another place that thankfully it was fine.On top of that, it was suggested that we probably brought those bags with our luggage Honestly, very unprofessional staff.
Very old and so many issues.-noise (no sound proof at all)-smell (if your neighbor smokes, it will get to you)-no fan in bathroom-valet parking is a joke. Min 20-30min wait-swimming pool and private beach is disappointing. Dont be fooled by pictures.Nothing impressed me.
I wish I could give zero, even negative 🌟. This place was disgusting and a health hazard. We tried to get in touch with Soliel apartment management after hours and Saturday morning but went straight to voicemail. We also went to security hotel security, but they were also unable to get in touch with management. We end up scrambling to get a room at another hotel 1 in the morning because our whole party was getting sick due to mold in the air, anyway we didnt feel comfortable sleeping there once we realized the condition of the apartment. We had to contact the booking site for assistance, I guess they were able to get Managements attention. We were issued a full refund, but our first night in Miami was a nightmare.
If you guys are planning on staying here for a nice vacation.... RUN AWAY!!! Worst hotel I’ve ever been to in my life honestly can’t think of anything more terrifying than my visit here i wish I can vote 0 stars. The big dark skinned security manager that was there on Nov. 10, 2019 at around 9:30 pm had to be the worst part... extremely rude and unhelpful, he doesn’t care about you or the situation you’re going through he will just simply evict you from the property. Overall 0/10.
Lots of shady characters.
Stayed in Apartment M2 this weekend it was fairly nice close to beach and 15 minutes from south beach. Only issue was there was mold in the upstairs bathroom. It could use some updating and can be more cleanly upon arrival. They requested air stay on but it was freezing and it was rainy and chilly . The view was amazing. Overall good area.
Watch out for the time share people in the lobby. Also lot of different check in desks can be confusing. Staff member at the pool was being aggressive with guests looking like they wanted to fight.
HORRIBLE...and I dont complain... Hole in the wall, no phone, pubic hair in sheets and tub (which when we complained we were handed a stack of sheets) stained towels, hung up on TWICE by owner, and blinds ripped off the wall whenwhen we tried lowering them...spent $100.00 for pool side appetizers. Run away and pay a little more. Another guest told us in the elevator he has had 4 days and 6 hours of problems...and we paid 300$ for less than 24 hours.
My stay at Soliel Apartments in Castle beach WAS HORRIBLE. Me and my 3 friends arrived at bay9 and were super excited. There was a nice upstairs downstairs, full bath, half bath, kitchen and dining room etc. My friend was tired from the flights and went to lay down and noticed all of our sheets were DIRTY. Pillows were dingy and had blood on them as well as the sheets. We informed our house keeper that we needed new sheets and pillows right away and he got them for us and we were thankful. BUT that was the LAST TIME we EVER saw a house keeper. We ran out of toilet paper and towels and wash rags. We went to their many front desk to learn OUR front desk closed on the weekend fri-Sunday and does open until Monday. So basically we had to use our same towels and rags the ENTIRE weekend. We ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some which a roll was 1.75. Every time we seen who we thought was a house keeper they find us they did not speak English. Finally when Monday rolled around we had noticed money was missing from each of our bags. We started to put the chain on the door at night just in case. Monday morning we hear some keys ringing through our room. Nobody was supposed to be in there except for us. We yelled to see if somebody would say something no answer back so my friend went down stairs to see if somebody had gotten in. She noticed the bottom and top lock were unlock but the chain was still intact. Somebody tried to enter our room and then when we caught them they scurried off. OVER ALL i do not recommend to stay here unless you want to provide EVERYTHING for yourself and deal with rude employees that don’t even actually work for the hotel you stay at.
Terrible customer service rude gross broke rooms we had so many complaints do not waste your money !!
Handle fell off the shower. Came right out of the wall. Door could not lock. 85 year old Grandmother spent the night in a totally unacceptable room for the amount of money we paid. No air conditioner in one of the other rooms. I was told she works 8 to five and she could not move her. You will be disappointed in the quality of the hotel.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. The issue I have with Castle Beach Club is with the parking service they use. When you stay with them and you have a car you are required to use the valet parking services. This service is operated by ParkSafe Systems. I stayed at Castle Beach in July of 2018 and my brand new Honda Odyssey was damaged by the valet. I filled out the claim ticket and they admitted they wrecked the car. I was told that someone from ParkSafe would call me to tell me how to get my car repaired. I have sent numerous e mails and left probably 100 voice mails, but I cant get anyone to return my call or my e mail. So I called Castle Beach. I talked to a manager at Castle Beach and told her about my issue and asked for help. She informed me that they arent responsible for anything that happens as a result of the valet service. They wouldnt even assist me in getting in touch with someone from Parksafe. I would like to know why Castle Beach is using a company with an F rating from the BBB for their valet service. If I cant get any help from Castle Beach I may have to return to Miami to file a small claims suit. If you research ParkSafe you will find numerous complaints from people whose cars were damaged by ParkSafe, but because they werent local they have been ignored. Castle Beach is willingly working with this company and should be held accountable.
It took 2 hours to bring our car back from the garage, they were unprofessional, impolite, ignorant, we asked multiple times for our vehicle and nobody gives a **** about my group, if you are looking for a hotel with a valet parking that is definitely not the one for you...
Compared tonthe last place I stayed this place was great . Will definitely return ..Good food and pool with easy access to the beach . Use the free trolley to get around as you will find cheap places to eat and drink . But do your research first .Water is expensive everywhere. I moticed in Miami that nobody carried a bottle of water around with themselves . Bottle water is not cheap .
Nice appartements, goods location, right on the beach. Run by really professional staff.
Beautiful room pretty clean and roomy
Never book there they canceled with no notice
Correct but no more
Shameful ! No hot water during my stay of 5 days !The staff didnt answer my calls and their office was closed most of the time.Avoid this place !
Fabulous. Great. Place
Good views with beach access
Terrible reception service....bathrooms are horrible ....what a dump for the money
Free parking and its right by the beach!
Not good
Old building, without remodeling. The check-in staff greet you like youre asking for food stamps, and they yell at you, the room in general was ugly and filthy. Very dirty towels and grime-stained walls. The bath tub had hair from the previous tenants. They dont clean. Definitely not going back to this grotesque place. There I leave you photos of tests. I stayed for 2 days that seemed eternal. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
A nice place on Collins, in the center of Miami Beach !!!
Excellent accommodation conditions. Cleanliness and comfort. Very good wi-fi connection. All very functional. The building has all the expected services.
Please note this is not a hotel! These are apartments owned by various bodies that are not there. After office hours there is no one to talk to even if you have a critical room problem.Of course, in the emergency number no one answers and the guard in her wedding is helpless.
Good place. Spacious apartment. Near the beach.
Animals are allowed but they are not animal-friendly here. We have to pick up our dog from the entrance to our room (8th floor) and he is not the smallest. They are also generally not friendly even rude that has a dent in your holiday mood. Photos on booking. com do not match our studio, cooking facilities certainly not.
Great apartment hotel with great location towards the beach. One downside is that there are no further shops and restaurants in the area.
Good located Nice apartment For the price it is recommended. Beach, pool and parking. recommendable
Very good link to stay! You can order pizza x whatsapp and take it to the room
Excellent attention as the next trip department I return to this place, I recommend you go to the safe good location and security. ...greetings from Chile
A condo with all services, good pool and exit to the beach. But with delay in the valet parking (which is mandatory) and complicated to download and load the luggage because it can only be done by the entrance stairs
Quiet place, comfortable apartments, and has a pool to enjoy, and if not you have to go to the beach that is attached to the complex as it is on the beachfront.
A good place for Spanish speakers. Known. Cleansed. Large. Excellent parking and at a good price
Beautiful view, very good attention and willingness to help you in what you need from the people of the hotel.Beautiful apartment, clean, a lot of clarity, nice atmosphere, very nice pool.
Excellent. Rent from your page is a security guarantee because there are pictures of each department. It does not disappoint. They give you what you see in each photo.
Old dirty ugly never rent other sofaAll dirty the same floor
An excellent place, very good service, nice people and 100% helpful. We had a loss of a property and the head of security not par to find who found it and we reimbursed. Quality and price to cordepenciancia and the head of security
Very good. Quickly solve problems. Very good attention
The location is very good. Very nice beach area.
Very good apartments on the beach and at a very good price
