Needed to move a pickup from one Enterprise location to another. Went through main 800 number who confirmed change. New location didnt have a car nor any update that this change was made to their location. Called 800 again and sent to another pickup location who again, didnt have a car for me nor any update from Enterprise HQ of this change. Got confirmation emails showing new locations for pickup but updated locations never got word. Almost missed my flight. Customer Care didnt care. What a mess.

Our last day in Miami beach our car was towed, and the tow company told us only enterprise could get the car back. We spoke with this enterprise office and they told us not to worry that they would make sure to get the car back in the same day. Three days went by and they havent yet got the car back and dont answer our calls. I would definitely not recommend, horrible customer service.

I ordered a SUV several weeks prior to coming to Miami. I called 24hrs prior to picking up the vehicle to make sure everything was still good to go. I was told we have your taken care of and look forward to seeing you the next day. When I got there I was informed they had no SUVs and the only thing we have is a family van which I did not request. I simply asked where is the customer service? Why didnt you call me? Had no answer. After going back and forth with them requesting for a SUV, they simply told me dont have any in the area so take what we have or you can call around and see that we are telling you the truth. As we were still at the location someone showed up with a SUV which we were finally able to get. Great way to start off your day. They did give me a discount but only after all the BS I went trough. Do you homework and make sure they have what you want before showing up or else you will being wasting time.

The regional manager at this branch is a snake and sleezy beware if you rent your car here. Was supposed to call the insurance company to get clearance and never did. The insurance company waited for answers from him and never did his job. I was in a accident and the insurance company used them so I can use there car. They didn’t follow proper protocol on renting the car to me and the insurance company refused to pay and they came after me. I disputed to my bank all is good and got refunded.

Completely unprofessional. Made a reservation the day of and was told there are cars available. Then got a call saying there were non right now but one should be by reservation time. Came in a bit late to give them extra time. We walked over 20 minutes to get there. Upon arrival was told that no cars were available and that there were people waiting for cars for 8 am reservations (keep in mind we were for 12:30 pm). Like a said, unprofessional 👎🏽

Ive rented a car with this branch of enterprise for about a month. Overal I had a great experience! People were very friendly and helpful. They didnt really try to sell me extras I do need ( I really appreciate that). The car was great, didnt had any problems with it.There is one catch with enterprise, and thats the price. Ive booked the car online for a reasonable price. At the end of the trip the amount I paid more than tripled over the original price.Especially for European people watch out for the insurance price! Its best to try and book the car with the insurance locally, and not in the US.

Horrible service. Went there to pick up a rental that I reserved and the manager name called Erica had the worst attitude ever. She was trying to give me a car with a flat tire or have to pay extra for exact similar one. I tried to speak with a manager and she said she is the only one at the place!!!Prior she took my ID and credit card and claimed she lost them. I called the cops and filed a police report.That place is a scam!!!

I prefer a Enterprise as they are easy to deal with an offer very competitive rates, I really like the Miami Beach location in Sunset Harbour, the staff is always nice and quick, for locals it is the perfect situation, This location used to be very poorly run and the company has really stepped up to the plate and got their stuff on track.FAST FORWARD 1 month later ... I take it all back! yesterday I went to pick up the car i had reserved and this location had NO CARS and were either unable or unwilling to help! The representative Brock that was suppose to be helping me was SO RUDE and unhelpful ... Such a shame this location is so inconsistent, BEWARE! and whomever DR is that replied to my original review, no one at enterprise has any idea who you are, or so they say.

Just the worst experience ever.I had a one and only day to spend in Florida and I just lost it due to the incompetence of this staff.I ordered a convertible and received the confirmation for it but when I went to this « agency », they just told us that they didn’t have any car left and suggest us to rent the only one poor car standing on their parking.The young guy, who not welcomed us but dealt with us, was cynic and not concerned at all. When I told him that his welcome was awful and that we didn’t get what we were expecting for, he just told me with the most heinous and disdain way that my rental was declined and that I had nothing more to do with him. Then he closed the door and took refuge in the agency that was closed to the public.I complained with the customer service of Enterprise Rent a car who told me that they will act accordingly but I really doubt that they have taken any action to correct this problem that seems to be common in this rental agency.Never again and I spread it all over the world.

I suggest everyone call and speak with the staff directly. I called the Bay Rd location 1.25 hours before Expedia scheduled me to pick up car in DOWNTOWN Miami which was out of my way, too much traffic hassle and would have cost double the cab fare. So, when I called the Bay Rd location, closer and less hassle, they were easily able to transfer my reservation and accommodate. When we got there 2 hrs early they got us on and out in an AMAZING upgrade, just so my disabled mother and I didnt have to wait outside with 5 pieces of luggage. They were wonderful!

Ive been renting cars from this location (1801 Bay Rd.) for years and they have always given me 5-star service. All the employees are nice, efficient and professional. Last week I made the mistake of renting a car from a different company. I paid for a higher end SUV and was given a Kia suv. It was awful and I went the next morning to exchange it but they had nothing else to give me. I was leaving in an hour to drive up north and was starting to panic. I returned the car to the original company and took a lyft over to Enterprise on Bay Road. Within 20 minutes I was on my way up north in a Jaguar SUV....thank you Enterprise. I will not make that mistake again. I will only rent from these guys from now on!

Amy was creative and responsive in taking care of me when the compact car I reserved wasnt available ( My fault, I was late picking it up). She found a much larger vehicle...a 12 passenger van to be exact, for my trip across the state. She waived the drop off fee and helped out with gas. Imagine the surprise of my friends when I pulled up in that sweet ride!!Id recommend this office without a doubt. They are a good spirited crew.Thank you Amy!!Linda :D

My car overheated in Miami & I went online to book the rental car. During the order process the drop-off location switched back to drop off in Miami. I know I made it an Orlando location as I had to enter my zip code & pick a drop-off location. I even explained to the Enterprise store that I was driving this car to Orlando as my car has broken down.Once I called to ask where I should drop off the car, I was told only the airport would charge a drop off fee & the Colonial location would be best. When I dropped the car off they charged me over $100 plus the charges I was already to pay. I realize there’s not a lot of control from the online but knowing the details you would think Enterprise being a family business wouldn’t charge me anything. And when I called to be picked up from hotel there wasn’t anyone available so I had to Uber to the location. Not a fan of Enterprise now that’s for sure.

We arrived on New Year’s Eve to pick up a car & we had a very limited choice of cars at the time. The original vehicle we chose was unsuitable for me because I couldn’t adjust the seating position. As soon as I informed Deana of the situation, she said she would call me when a suitable vehicle arrived. Sure enough, she did call and was wonderful making personally sure that the vehicle was appropriate for my needs. We found the staff to be very friendly and caring.

I made reservation for a RAV4 12 days before my trip and when I show up to enterprise to pick up my car they didn’t have it. They didn’t have any cars to rent but a mustang and wouldn’t lower the price for what I had reserved. The workers a rude, they eat in front of there customers the place is dirty and disgusting. Never again will I rent from this place again. My experience was terrible. It’s such a shame I always rent from enterprise where ever I go and to get to enterprise and then tell me they don’t have a car to get me is beyond frustrating and unbelievable!!

UPDATE! NO ONE HAS ANSWERED MY REVIEW. TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE! AVIS. HERTZ. BUDGET.I have a corporate account through Amazon and rent quite frequently here in the west coast. I just had a business trip down to Miami. I left a pair of shoes not in the car but office. I spoke with someone that said they had seen them and had it, later when calling back to make shipping arrangements, I person said no one had ever seen them and that the manager would say the same thing. Refused to let me speak with anyone else. So, if someone saw them and now they are gone, then someone took them. They also, take the car to another location and gave me no receipt indicating that the car was actually returned and not damaged. I do not feel like this a great practice. What happens if damage occurs while they are relocating the vehicle. Terrible experience. This was a business trip/birthday for me that is celebrating being in remission from stage 4 cancer. NOT COOL!

I spoke to Marvin who is the manager at Bay Road Enterprise location (as of September 2020) and he said that even if you make a reservation there is no guarantee they will have a car ready for you. You have to call in advance and confirm the reservation. Also he said that they may or may not answer the phone.Extremely bad customer service and unreliable.Enterprise needs to improve dramatically! Consider using a cell or remote wireless phone to answer calls if you only have 1 or 2 employees at this office. This is a simple solution that they should implement.

It’s a small office in a very popular location. They may not have the car you requested but they make the best effort. Staff have always been courteous and forthcoming. Bring a credit card, they don’t accept cash and debit cards are a hassle.

It took about 45 minutes to get our car since it wasnt ready when we got there. They also didnt have the full size car we reserved, so we had to take a pick-up truck. The first lady that greeted us was rude, but the second one took better care of us and tried her best to speed up the check out process. Also, our credit card that we were planning on using for insurance got declined on the first try and we were told the system couldnt try it a second time. The card was working fine everywhere else all day...And when we switched to another credit card, it was working fine on the first try...

I want to start by saying most of the staff is great, I have 90% of the time had a great experience expect this one day one of the employees came in from buy breakfast, no was at the counter so I was there waiting. Employee bought Dunkin’ Donuts and was first worried about eating her sandwich before helping and when she did help me she was worried about eating her sandwich while she helped me. I was very disappointed since I have never had a bad experience at this location but overall the rest of the staff is great and they try to do everything possible within their powers.

We needed a car to explore outside of Miami. We walked here from South Beach and didnt have a reservation. The computers were down and you could tell the guys were having a rough day. Even though it took a bit longer than usual, everything went fine. Got the rate from online and the car was in good shape. Eddy was really nice and I give him credit for not getting snarky while the computers were done. Would rent from this place again.

I had a car rented for the day, beginning at 8am. They called me very late the night before to tell me that there would be a delay. When I tried to ask how long, they simply would not give an accurate answer, saying it would be multiple hours. A car rental for a day is wasted if it is delayed multiple hours, especially in the Winter time when the days are so short. The service was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and they clearly lacked proper organization. DO NOT make a reservation with them, they will simply delay or cancel it on a short notice.

Service representatives are very attentive, professional and kind. They made everything go smooth. No complaints on this area. The problem lies in the service charges -specifically for insurance- were extremely excessive. I made a reservation on the website for a mid car. The cost to rent this vehicle was $203.04 for 7 days (taxes and fees included). According to the website insurance ranges between $7 and $32. But a different scenario developed at the counter. With insurance the total amount due was $535 (thats 163% over the reserved rental price). I had no option but to pay since my trip was already pre-planned with little time to deviate. This excessive charges for added services such as insurance fees should be illegal, specially when a full cover insurance policy cost is approximately $3,000 per year ($8 per day). I was charged $47.42 per day ($331.96 for 7 days). I felt robbed.

The only downside of my long-term (three months) rental was the corporate requirement that I renew the agreement every 30 days. The staff was always pleasant, helpful and efficient. When initially picking up my car, I discovered the a/c was not functioning. I was immediately given another, and better vehicle. The gas tank was empty so I had to immediately go to a filling station. Upon returning my car today, I told Omar that the tank was ¾ full and that I had taken it away with an empty tank. He then gave me his card with a note indicating I was entitled to a ¾ tank credit on my next rental. This was my first experience with Enterprise, but it wont be my last. I have already scheduled another vehicle for rental from this location for next month.

DO NOT TRUST this office even if you received confirmation email for your reservation. I did my reservation on this office and at the day of car pick up, someone form office ( Sabrina) I think gave me a phone call and said we dont have any car! So they asked me to cancel my booking!! This is a shame for Enterprise, people plan their events and do reservations, enterprise can not cancell a confirmed reservation without a reason or something. Avoid this place.

Will never rent in this company again. They said they pick you up from where you are but they dont. I called 24hrs before my reservation to confirm pick up. I waited for them to pick me up at my place but no one came so I had to uber. One of the reason I rented the car is because of the pick up offer. I came to the office with only one employee with more than ten customers. Waited over an hour to be helped. Still here waiting for my car as I type this review. My first and last in this company.Note: the employee was nice it isnt his fault that they only assign one personnel to handle a busy weekend.

I called to make a reservation got the confirmation number emailed to me. I took uber to enterprise to pick up the car. They got my card and drivers license they then tell me no car available give us an hour. I waited no car.Now i cant go to a different rental agency because they still have a hold on my card. I had to take the bus home. This is how enterprise treat their customers.

The customer service from this location was the best Ive ever experienced. We rented a car for a couple days from south beach to Orlando. Not only did they pick us up from our hotel, but they also Took us back after we dropped off the car. The customer service rep named Claudia took great care of us and went beyond our expectations to make sure that we were taken care of. Great job enterprise!

When I rented the car, the rental agent explained to me that there would be a $200.00 deposit collected, that would immediately be returned when I returned my rental. The rental was returned on a Saturday and when I did not see the refunded deposit in my account on the following Thursday I had to call Enterprise. The representative told me that it sometimes takes a bank several days to credit the refund once they have processed it, he gave me a number to trace the transaction and told me to call my bank. Called my bank and they did not have any indication that a credit had been issued by Enterprise. Calling Enterprise again I was transferred to the local office where I rented the car. The agent there told me that since I returned the car at an airport that they had not yet been notified that the car was returned and the refund had not yet been processed. She went on to explain that the airports are very busy which is why they are not notified as if thats somehow acceptable. When I pointed out that if they knew about this problem, they should be doing something about it and should not be telling clients that the funds would be immediately credited. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and at least acting like she would talk to her staff about what they are communicating to clients, she became very defensive and said they collect the deposit because Im being given a $30.000 car. This couldnt have been further from the point I was trying to convey. In the end, the rental was fine, but the customer service left much to be desired.

Had a rough start as my flight from Madrid was 40 minutes late and they had given away my car. The lot is the size of my bath room, have 1 or 2 cars. We had 2 rentals booked, 8passenger SUV and a convertible. Both vehicles they didnt have, and said they are calling around to arrange one. After an hour or more they said we can give you a 8 passenger mini van and a standard 5 passenger car. Both which I could of booked for less $$$. Worst experience, wasted 3 hours of my day in Miami, plus Uber going and coming to this location. Travels beware of lower advertised prices, and location hunting vehicles when u arrive.

Worst enterprise ever. They do not listen what exactly you want and then charge you more. I told them that I will need the care a little bit more than 1 day and they said no problem. S**t a** customer service. Left my sis stranded with no car despite her has been calling 3x to confirm. Yet on the day, no car available, nor can answer if there will be replacement car. They don’t do anything, not even trying to call other rental to rent from them. A lot of other renters at this location today did not ger their cars. My sis had to call Sixt herself to find a car at the last minute. Ruined the plan for the day. Don’t bother even to try renting from this place. Avoid at all cost!! Shame on you Enterprise!! Boo!

I definitely don’t recommend this location.We booked a car for 12pm, when we got there the car they told us to wait 1h to get the car, after 1h the car was still not available and they were not sure how long it would take so we decided to reschedule it for the next day at 11am.The next day the car was still not available and we had to go to another location.There was 5 people in the line before us and they all got issues and people were very frustrated.At the other location, the car was still not available and we had to wait another hour!!!The only thing they are doing is to apologize.To make it short, don’t book a car with them!

This is a joke of a company. We had our reservation to pick up the car at 10am. We get to the office at 10:30h and the car is not there. The rep working there doesnt communicate with you. Then he says they are picking the car up from somewhere else and bringing it. After a long wait then he tells you you have to go in a car and that you will be taken to another office to pick up the car. But first we are going all the way to mid beach to drop another customer...its almost mid-day and we still arent at the office and dont have a car! So much for our day driving to the keys... Avoid these guys, the are so u profesional!!!

Wasted hours of my life on these people. Completely incompetent and liars. Have been trying to rent a car from them for a week now. Have confirmations from them (in writing), when I try to call they dont answer the phone at all, or it goes to the corporate office who is useless, and promises I will get a callback (which never happens). So finally I left work to go today since I realized I was not going to get called back, and he tells me they have no cars, and they are no honoring their contract with USAA. He tells me this after making me stand there for 10 minutes watching him on the phone with what looked like a personal call. When asking when they will have cars, they have no idea. Thanks a lot. When I booked this car in may of 2015 I put down that I would pick up the car in South Beach and return it to the Miami Airport. There was no mention of a $50 drop off charge. My email showed Total Charges 212.54 USD. This did not include the drop off charge and there was no indication that there would be. I would like to make sure that in the future people are made aware of this beforehand.The car was fine and we had no other problems, other than them trying to push the insurance at $20/day.

This office was poorly staffed. Waited long time to receive the rental. The car was completely dirty inside and outside. The windows were filthy. Wanted to exchange the car for something clean but did not have time due to the amt of time it took to get the car. The location is very understaffed. I had a long wait, waiting for my driver to pick me up as well as a wait when arriving at the location. They also did not have the car I wanted. I reserved a car on December 27th to be picked up on the morning of January 2nd. I received a call ten minutes before my scheduled pick up with news that they would not have a car available for me (the representative on the phone, who by the way was as professional as she could be given the circumstances, noted that they only had 6 cars for 30 reservations!). I asked in what ways they might be able to accommodate me, since I was on a very tight schedule and they could offer no help. I eventually had to book a last-minute flight and rental with another company in order to make it to my destination on time. I still havent heard back from Enterprise Customer Service (though Im not sure what they can do at this point) and I have also not received any updates about my still-not-canceled reservation with this location. I would imagine pre-existing reservations on a busy holiday weekend would be more closely monitored and that the company would make efforts to inform customers of overbooking much sooner.

Really disappointed with this place. I always use Enterprise but this place really lowers the bar in terms of standard.They take advantage of the renters lack of knowledge and add charges which are not needed. When you raise the issue with them, they change the story and talk about refunds when the car is returned. Naturally when you return the car they do not give back the refund.If you rise the issue with customer care, you eventually get a regional manager who talks to you, he doesnt listen, is not interested in the facts and just offers very low refund.Guess I will take my service somewhere else in this region.Really poor.

Been using enterprise for trips and family functions for a long time now, customer service keeps me coming back, it’s not about not making mistakes, no one’s perfect, it’s about how you resolve the problem that makes a company stand out, customers come FIRST, I think enterprise understands, at least my local branch does;)

I needed a car for the day. I called and made a reservation the day before. When I went to pick up the car it was blocked in and could not get it. It seems that the customer from the day before had returned it and hadnt brought the key back. Anyway, that was not a problem, they gave me a brand new upgrade for no extra $$$ and I was driving within minutes. Yes I will use them again. They were great to work with and my experience could not have been better.

They have offices just about everywhere you may need to rent a car. The rates are VERY GOOD, but they are willing to work with you to get the best car for the best rate you can afford. In my case, I had been hit by negligent driver who totalled my car; I needed rental to get around for work AND to buy a new car. They were able to drop my original rate when I found Id need a car for longer than originally thought. (Thanks, Tyra!) And they even drop you off... no Uber needed!

I booked the car over phone, when I arrived there, not only that my car wasnt ready but they didnt have to give me any car for that day. The guy that works there was unprofessional and he was talking on the phone whole time. Try Hertz or even better, go with Turo if you are planing small trips.

I was disappointed with the pricing and service from Enterprise for several reasons. We rented a car to travel from Ft Lauderdale Airport to Bay Street in Miami. We were there to take a cruise. After the cruise I called Bay Street for a Pick-up and was told that they did not offer that service.( I believe this was the closest Enterprise Agent to the port). We spent $27.00 + tip to travel the short distance from NCL Port to Bay Street. While on hold for the pick-up request I heard a recording that repeatedly said that We will pick you up from Enterprise, I think that this was false advertising and may report this to the proper consumer watch agency. I was then informed that we would need to pay a $50.00 fee since we were only driving one way to the airport. We drove from the Airport to Bay Street and then back again one week later (but I guess this doesnt count as the same place for the return). The agent was very kind and courteous at Bay Street, but was unable to help us with either of these problems.I will not use Enterprise in the future. Very disappointed

I called this location and I asked if they had vehicle available for immediate rental. I was told that there are few sedans and suvs that I shouldn’t worry. I came to the location within 15min and there were no cars. Plus there were other 10 pleole waiting for rental. It’s not nice to lie to people. I hate dishonesty
