Great place for dental work. They are friendly, understanding, and really worked with me in terms of my situation. Wait time was not long at all. I would recommend Aspen dental too anyone wanting to fix their smile and quality of life.

I have had a lot of dental work over the years and Aspen has been great compared to some of the others... Dr Murphy is awesome, I didnt feel any pain getting my filling replaced. Cheri the receptionist is friendly and professional. Lily the hygienist does a good job and makes you feel comfortable....Rosa the dental hygienist is great at what she does...I recommend Aspen to all of my family and friends.

I’ve had many cavities filled over the years and it was always a long, painful experience. Aspen Dental was by far the best place I’ve had it done! Very quick I was in and out, ZERO pain with no uncomfortable after effects. They have the most friendliest down to earth staff! I’ll never go anywhere else for dental work.

My Aspen dental experience was very very bad at this location. People were not friendly at all. My appointment was the last appointment of the day, so everyone was in a hurry to go home. No one explain me the treatment. I had to ask for hygienist 3 time just to talk to her. People at counter were very rude. No one explain me the producer. Counter people should explain all the producer instead they were talking to each other and laughing at each other jokes.

I made an appointments for a cleaning. When I went, they checked my teeth and they said I had to make an appointment for another day for cleaning. They charged my co-pay twice purposefully for the same visit. Every time I go they try to overcharge me for one thing or another. Very unpleasant experience every time.

First visit was informative. From the front staff to the Dr and Assistants everyone was so friendly and kind. They all took the time to answer every question I had, and I had many! The woman in the office I forgot her name was so understanding, she explained the costs and helped me with a payment plan. She made every one of my appointments and was so patient while I looked up my calendar to find available dates for visits. She even wrote each one out on a reminder card and wrote what would be done that day and about how long each visit would be so I could let my driver know when to pick me up. I use a walker and she helped me out, holding all doors and helped me off the curb in the cold! I can’t say how happy I am finding this place. All I can say is Thank You!
I was taken care of with very best attention. I felt like I was a new patient even though I hadn’t been there in 2 years I was still a regular patient. When I walked in and saw Dr Murphy we both greeted each other as if we had just seen each other yesterday. She is such a wonderful doctor and the staff there is so good at their work. They are awesome at this Aspen office and I love going there even though I hate going to the dentist.
This was without a doubt the worst dental experience I have ever had. they started off by attempting to give me x-rays. The first tech had absolutely no idea what she was doing. She had to take double if not triple images because she couldnt do it right. Her supervisor finally came in and while the supervisor knew what she was doing was not at all gentle. She hurt my mouth cut my gums and it still took forever. When I finally got into an exam room they had me sign a waiver telling me that despite all of their signage saying that it was safe to go to the dentist during the pandemic that it was in fact not safe and they were not liable if I got covid-19 while at the the dentist. Their waiver explicitly stated that dental exams cause water vapor which is how covid 19 is spread and that because one couldnt wear a mask during the exam, there was an increased risk of contracting the illness. This directly contradicts all the marketing saying that it was safe to be at the dentist. Furthermore the doctor was only in the room with me for 2 minutes when a legit fight broke out in the hallway. The dentist abandoned me to resolve the fight with the patient and I was left unattended in the exam room for 30 minutes. When somebody finally came back to see me, they observed that my gums, that had been manhandled by incompetent techs for 40 minutes were irritated and they tried to upsell me on a $1,500 additional cleaning and when I declined that service they basically turned me away. I never got the basic cleaning which was the only reason I went. Would not recommend. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
The appointment started 30 min late.The x-ray technician had to retake each x-ray multiple times before her supervisor stepped in. The supervisor was rough and cut the floor of my mouth with the device.After scanning my mouth with a camera, they began to sell me on invisiline braces before I told them Ive already had braces in the past, and they changed the subject.I was refused a cleaning during my introductory appointment because they tried to sell me on returning for a multi-stage process that would not be covered by insurance and would cost more than $1000 to clean my teeth.The entire appointment was painful and drawn out, and I left without even having had a cleaning.
I was experiencing severe tooth pain. They were able to scheduled an emergency appointment for me right away. Had the bad tooth extracted during the same appointment. What a relief! They have a great staff and doctors at the Methuen office. Very courteous and professional. I highly recommend Aspen Dental for all your dental needs.

Had an excellent and informative appointment yesterday with Dr. Murphy and her team. Cheri and Phyllis were caring and helped me to understand my treatment. The DAs Mari and Rosa helped set my mind at ease because I was experiencing pain and generally become very nervous when it comes to the dentist due to bad experiences in the past. Lily is the Hygienist I saw that day and she was awesome. Also someone who was able to take the time to discuss different options for what needs to be done.Then Dr. Murphy came in and not only is she an amazing doctor who discussed different options with me but her whole demeanor can’t help but put a smile on your face and feel like you’re talking to someone who really wants to help you.Overall, a really great and easy experience even with the news that a root canal and crown are very likely in the future. Everyone was just so caring like an office that sees patients should be.

I have no insurance abd after calling many dentists, Aspen dental was the only dentist that was willing to see me and offered a free exam! The staff were very professional and kind. I only wish that I could continue to see them but circumstances are in the way .I would highly recommend Aspen dental to any one !

I had an appointment today at Aspen Dental In Methuen, MA. I was a little early for my 2 pm appointment, but the woman behind the counter said youre early that means youll be done earlier! I picked up the sign in sheet she said no need to sign in I know who you are. A few minutes later an assistant lab technician called me to go into an examanation room. She told me that the dentist wasnt here today due to the virus, but she had spoke to the boss in the lab and hed be with me shortly. Sure enough he came in (didnt want me to mention his name) and provided me with the very best dental service ever! He went way beyond my expectations!
I had my upper denture done in April 2019 everyone was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. I am back to have my lower denture done. Everyone has been just as happy wonderful as last time. I not only would but have reccomend Aspen Dental.
My experience with Aspen Dental, methuen, MaIncompetent bookeeping*i issued check to them*They lost it*I issued another check*they found old check*credited my account*after last visit was paid in full from credited account, Aspen said I still had an $89 credit*today I received a collection letter from Aspen Dentals (CMM Dental PC) collection company for $309.25(By the way, I never received from Aspen Dental or their collection company an email, snail mail, voice message, phone call stating I had a balance owed before today)Of course today when I called, they said there was no record of an $89 credit.
No Covid screening on my visit last month. No temperature check. No screening questions. Nothing.New hygienist was clueless, totally incompetent, and struggled with doing simple routine x-rays.Numerous billing issues where they overcharged after insurance payments.I will never go back there. They are not concerned about their patients. Their only motivation and focus is to generate as much revenue as possible.

(I dont know what kind of successful business strategy comes out of that.)So now I have to find some place where I can be seen.But Im sure the office manager is happy - one more former patient shell never have to talk to again!
The actual dentist was nice and knowledgable- some staff were nice as well but there were a lot of social things going on like private conversations and visitors. We arrived as told to- early and the whole staff was in a meeting and no one could start us on our paperwork. The bathroom was also out of order.

They just called 4 days before our appointment to tell me that they had to cancel our appointments and would call us to let us know when they could reschedule.. We will not be waiting around for that phone call. I have already scheduled us an appointment at Methuen Family Dental, they accept the same insurance plans and were much more pleasant to work with & only 5 minutes away!
Where do I start. These people were rude and judgemental from the moment I walked into the door. I had a very bad decaying wisdom tooth and was in agony severe pain. I also had no dental insurance which it even says on theyre sign no insurance no worries, yea 1700 dollar bill no worries who are you kidding. I went for a tooth extraction they said I need 3 fillings a cleaning and dental surgery to remove the tooth and pressured me to pay close to 1700 dollars upfront to use theyre services .Almost seemed like I was being bullied into paying but I didnt because I had the sense these people just wanted my money. The receptionist who tried to get my money was extremely rude and I wish I got her name for a complaint. Dentist look like a couple hustlers with no concern for the actual patients. And they wouldnt even write me a script for some painkillers when my tooth needs surgery. It was obvious from the sight of my tooth I was in total agony. I was being judged the entire time by the staff and it made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. They were anything but warm and professional Id say their approach was all about business and turning over profit. These others reviews on here have to be fake I wouldnt doubt it. Overall this experience sucked and I couldnt wait to leave and never go back. Ill be going somewhere else for the surgery at least I got a free consultation but I dont know if I can even trust these guys opinion either. Do not go here no good. Unless you want to waste your money to get disrespected and poor service. Never again

They suggested me deep cleaning the first time I visit. It didn’t even cover by the insurance. I didn’t do it. The second time I visit, they couldn’t fix my problem and charge me $100. Receptionist is not nice.
I went in for a filling in the hygenist was extremely rough and basically did not care that she was hurting me at all. On multiple occasions I had to stop her and take a quick break because she was being extremely rough. It was like as if she was trying to rush out for lunch break as soon as possible. It has now been over a week that I went to get my filling done, and there should be no reason as to why Im still in pain when i eat and when i move certain parts of my mouth. This is the second filling she has done for me and i will NEVER go back.

My experience was amazing. They were very thorough in their exam. I spent no time sitting in the chair waiting for the tech to come in and within a half hour I knew what needed to be done, the procedure and what it would cost me. I had a mouthful of problems and didnt think I could afford to have teeth extracted and a new plate made but after a couple questions and a few minuets of my time, I was approved and a couple days later... I will be smiling with confidence again.. Thank you !

I found the staff to be very courteous and friendly. I could not complete the work recommended for my first appointment because of a personal issue. In spite of that the charge for another work completed was waived due to their caring and consideration. I will definitely return for my future dental work.
Although I went a few months back, Aspen was great. I saw Dr. Murphy and she exlpained everything thoroughly to me. I had great service from the girls up front to the assistants out back to the office manager. As i explained to them I will be returning once I return home in December. Called in and set up an appointment over the phone. Told them my dental plan and ID number and they said everything was good to go. When I got there they said we haven’t been taking this insurance for a while now.Receptionist on the phone was obviously unaware that they hadn’t been taking this insurance for two years.
Edit: I made an appointment with another dentist, only 2 weeks after this appointment, they billed my insurance only for a regular cleaning, and I was told I had ZERO cavities.Hmmm? Do not go to aspen dental unless you want unnecessary work. $$Im getting invisible aligners for my bottom teeth and havent been able to get dental insurance for a while, I was just offered dental insurance so I decide to go get a cleaning before I start my aligner treatment. A cleaning should be around 100$ I just had X-rays done less than a year ago. SO when I go in, the Dentist tells me she wants to Do X-rays anyways. I agree because she seemed like a polite and professional person with good intent. After receiving the recommendations I was given a bill for over 600$. I told the woman i just needed a cleaning currently I didnt have money for other services, she said they could ONLY perform the recommended services. Soooo instead of a deep cleaning they recommended, and a standard cleaning I could afford, I was sent home with NO CLEANING. i will be going to another dentist to get my STANDARD CLEANING and when i have money. i will go to that dentist to get a deep cleaning or other required services. She also told me I had 2 cavities, which is false.

I had dentures put in.still trying to test them out.i had to go back a few times for adjustments.the staff there is great.but I just dont like how the dentures came out.my family is telling me the teeth are to big an I still cant chew solid food.i look like a cow when I eat.i need to call them again.
Please, stay out of this place..It started when i had toothache - so i was looking for someone open Saturday and would accept Dental Reduce plan.. First they would charge you for a cleaning (common practice for all dentist offices). After that they make statement - they need to make gum treatment before any dental work (over 1K treatment).. When you are in pain - you would agree for everything.. They would suck your money... they said that I need Dental work for over 4.5K (remove all wisdom teeth + 5 crowns)!!!I went to a different dentist who treated my problem on the same day and was told I didnt need the dental work they said I needed. He also said he has dozens of patients who went to Aspen Dental and was quoted thousands of dollars for dental work they didnt needIn additional to that be ready to sit in a chair for an hour without even seen a doctor... RUN AWAY!!! You could find better place event if would seen a little expensive than in Aspen - BUT at the end you will spend more money in AspenDental than needed...

Dr. Kaur and her assistant were awesome. Went in for a couple of filling replacements and a resurfacing of another tooth. I was made to feel very comfortable and the work was done in very professional and caring way not to mention quickly. I was in and out in 30 minutes.
4 hours out from my procedure. I had 4 teeth extracted in 3 corners of my mouth.I was slightly nervous but Dr Kaur was so fantastic. And her assistant Mari.They were both so nice and knew exactly what they were doing.The Doc kept asking me if I was comfortable or felt any pain. I had 5 shots of novacaine but it wasnt nearly as bad as I thought it would be.She explained everything as it was happening and was very sweet and professional.Id recommend her to anybody and everybody.
I found the staff at the Loop Aspen Dental office to be absolutely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and discuss options related to my case. I am on my way to healthier teeth now - and Im looking forward to it!

I have been going here for some time although they are very nice. I do think that they charge a lot of money even with my Dental Plan l have to pay a lot put of pocket for any service. Also you have to wait a long time after cleaning for a dentist to check your teeth, or for the helper to come and polish after cleaning. I also dont like extra treatments not covered by the insurance, like fluoride.

I have been going here for some time although they are very nice I do think that they charge a lot of money even with my Dental Plan l have to pay a lot put of pocket for any service. Its very uneasy knowing that they can charge what they do it cost me more to see a dentist then my own doctor. They should list there prices so you know up front & they always try to sneak in a fluoride treatment cost which I make them take off as I brush daily with a fluoride.

Honest answers. No one at Aspen has ever withheld information or misguided me in decision-making. Ive been going since 2004 and even after they moved to the new Methuen location I followed them. Prices are very reasonable, staff is extremely friendly, but because of their popularity I have to schedule my teeth cleaning no less than six months out. To be sure I have an appointment I am scheduled a year out. Believe me, its well worth it!Edit July 2016: it was determined that a filling needed to be replaced. They tried twice. Novacane wasnt working so they suggested gas. Aspen Dental does not provide gas. Not only that, they sent me on my way to find another dentist to finish the job they started. Quite inconvenient. Then, they had the audacity to believe that after going to another dentist that I would come back? Suffice to say I didnt. Quite disappointed that after all this time with good service then suddenly Im treated like a leper.

Went to the Methuen, MA office for an extraction. Unfortunately the only extraction was a $200 deposit from my checking account, which, over 2 weeks after they decided they could not perform the tooth extraction, has yet to be refunded. The office staff is a study in uselessness and has been no help whatsoever in getting my deposit back.Never give these people one cent in advance. Youll never see your money again.
Good place to go if you have too much money and are over confident about you mouth. Otherwise, be prepaired to have the tell you about all the problems you have and all the work that has to be done and the cost of it all. When, in reality, its only problems you might develop. They just treat it as active disease so they can bill you more. Never go there.

Place has new equipment. The first exam was good. They took lots of X-rays and did multiple checks. The do not clean your teeth during this visit. They do show you the issues they see and then comes the annoying part, they take you into the business office. I feel like I was at a car dealership. They print out an itemized list of items you need. They for some reason forgot to add Novocaine etc to the list and slip in the cost of a $130 toothbrush that sells elsewhere for $90 and some other rinses. Some services I am not sure are really needed. I really feel like they were trying to upsell. Other services like extraction and cavity are scheduled for every other month as that is the only time the visiting DMD visits that office. I guess I should have expected this from a franchise. I will not go back. I am headed to a local non-franchise dentist.

Please DO NOT go to Aspen Dental. They lure in customers with cheap cleanings and then wont do cleanings if they find any issues (even if they arent legitimate issues) and pressure their customers into getting expensive procedures.They told me I had periodontal disease and pressured me into getting a deep cleaning (for only half of my teeth.. they were going to make me come back to do the other half) which was extremely expensive. They also tried to sell me a $160 tooth brush saying I really needed it for proper care as well as $67 toothpaste & rinse. I felt like I was at a used car dealership. They also told me I had 5 cavities & a possible 2 others. Feeling pressured (and trusting what I thought were medical professionals), I got the deep cleaning for the first half of my mouth... after the whole procedure, I felt pretty uncomfortable.. like I had been conned into the whole procedure. I voiced some hesitation to the receptionist after the whole procedure was done, and she responded very condescendingly (as if I was a total idiot for feeling uncomfortable with everything that just happened).I ended up going to another dentist who confirmed I DID NOT in fact have periodontal disease. I confronted them later and asked for a refund for the treatment that I had not needed, and they refused.Needless to say, it was a horrible experience. Please dont do this to yourself for the cheap cleaning. Just go somewhere you know and trust.

Two weeks ago your front desk was misinformed and raised her voice in front of the other customers telling me Well if you dont understand your plan call your insurance plan and argue with them! I had to ask her to lower her voice and that yelling at me was not going to help me understand.The rep who actaully deals with insurance reviewed the situation then acknowledged there was a miscommunication... I asked to speak to a manager I was tild she was on vacation and would return Tuesday... I have not received a call yet!I have been a customer for over a year... Sad that I have to find a new Dentist because the admin chose to address an issue she is not qualified to speak on and was disrespectful in the process...

Dont doing good service I had a filling I have insurance but they charged me ($263) full amount as I dont have insurance then I got a letter from insurance company I should pay $155 for their service, I called many time to let them refund difference almost 2 month passed still doesnt move any where their reception is worst to deal
