Five stars all the way. My pool was a complete disaster week after week. I was determined to take care of it myself but kept getting bad info and sold products that I didnt need. A coworker told me he bought a pool from Duckys and told me to try them for my supplies.My pool has never looked better. I bring my water into Duckys every 1-2 weeks for a free water test. They give me detailed instructions and dont roll their eyes when I ask questions. Also when chlorine was in short supply this year they always had it in stock. I am a Duckys customer for life now.

My big hobby is aquariums. When I bought a house last year with an older inground pool I thought I could handle caring for it just fine. It is a big aquarium without fish to mess things up, right?There are 3 pool stores in the area. I visited the other two before Duckys. They were terrible. I wanted to hire my neighbors pool guy to take care of my pool. He is good and as a result is fully book up on his route. He told me to bring a water sample to Duckys. Seeing how bad the other 2 stores were even Duckys just telling me hello when I walk in the door would be an improvement. Duckys has been stellar in all of my dealings with them. Ive been going here since May or June and now go a few times a month for water tests. Unlike other places they have staff here who first cares and next knows pools.

Absolutely 5 start service all the way. My pool situation was one problem after another. My pool service guy who was great for 15+ years retired. After that it was one bad company after another. A friend told me to try doing it myself. It was a disaster too until I started going to Duckys. These people know their stuff. Now I have them test my water for me on a regular basis and follow their detailed instructions. The past few times I brought my teenage son in with me and he is now taking over the ropes of keeping the pool in tip top shape. This would have not been possible with the people at Duckys.

We purchased an above ground pool from Duckys earlier this year when the kids were out of school due to Covid. It was the best home improvement money weve ever spent. The kids enjoyed the pool. I was pretty nervous about the whole process but Duckys made it easy and continues to do so. I continue to shop with them for all my chemicals, supplies, pool toys, etc. They sell spas too. That is my next goal.

We first went to Clear 🌊 in Metairie got over charged for 21’ foot round steel paid 3000 somin cash and they weren’t very helpful. Fast forward to Today my wife seen a commercial about buddy’s we called then visited the store they had the pool in stock Fa real and we got a wayyyyyyy better deal on a 21’ round ALUMINUM . I’m bad with names😑 but the sales woman was super duper awesome! Explained everything to the tee and didn’t force any upgrade or extras into our purchase. As a business owner myself I truly appreciate the extra Miles they put in. They’ve definitely made it to my supporting of small businesses list. Thanx

Five star service all the way. This store recently opened in our neighborhood. We went in earlier this month to have our automatic pool vac repaired. Last time we brought it elsewhere it took 3 weeks to get back and didnt work. These folks had it back to us in under 2 days and it works great.My pool guy isnt doing any work right now due to Covid so I am the pool gal right now. Jeff at Duckys has been helpful in every way possible to get my pool ready for this weekend. Since were stuck at home I want to get our pool up and going earlier this year. He went out of his way to make sure our pool sparkles. They have earned my business.Their store is beautiful. They sell other stuff besides pool supplies and chemicals too. They have a really nice selection of gifts. I picked up a really cool chew toy for my fur pup.

Had a little live everything nice store

I needed a part for my Pentair 320 and went to our usual pool supply store. They sold me a part but it did not work. I could not get them on phone and went back waiting 20 minutes to talk to the only person in store that could help me even though there was more staff there. He knew what I needed but did not have part in stock. I tried the new store in town and voila. Staff knew there stuff and when they werent sure knew who to ask right away. I came home and fixed did my repair in 10 minutes for $30. Early in the day, I spend much longer trying to fix it and visited the competitor twice. Thanks Jeff and to the young guy who helped me as well, I think his name was Jacob or Josh. The store is beautiful, well stocked and staff is knowledgeable and hardworking. I will save 20 minute drive and come see you first next time.

Needed a new salt cell. Ducky’s was $75 cheaper than another local store and $45 cheaper than Amazon. The store is very nice inside and service is even better. I brought my water sample to be tested the next day and found that I was getting bad advice from the previous store that always tested my water. This shortened the life of my salt cell. Just to be sure I verified what Duck’s water lab told me with the cell manufacturer. I will only be going to Duck’s now.

I needed a part for my pool pump. The manufacturer is out of stock for at least the next month or two due to Covid. Not only did Duckys have the part on hand they were $20 cheaper than a price I found online. Better than that 2 staff members (sorry didnt catch their names) took the time to help me make sure I was installing it correctly. All of this for a transaction well under $100.I returned today and their chemical prices are rock bottom too. This is now my go to pool supply store. Apparently they are locally owned which shows in their service.

Went in today to purchase the 18×33 above ground pool. Wanted to speak to David who originally helped us with the quote. He was busy helping someone else at the time so we waited until he was finished. The young employee that was working knew we were waiting specifically to speak to David. Another couple jumped in front us and we let the yound man know that. We had to wait even longer which was not a big deal. When he was finished checking out the couple, another couple went up and David started to help them. All the time this young employee knew that we were waiting. He could have said something to David to let him know that we had been waiting for him. So we left. I gave a review on their website about the mishap and we recieved a message from one of the owners the same day! My husband was able to go in the next day and speak to Josh and David. They were very helpful and we were able to purchase our pool. Thank you so much for taking the time to help us and caring so much about your customers. 5 star service all the way! We cant wait to enjoy our pool this summer!
