I went in today for my appt because of a cracked screen . Jackson was extremely extremely helpful . He greeted me immediately. The process was very simple and complex . Jackson guided me on the steps i needed to do on my phone before I left . Told me 2 hours and it was actually fixed before that. My phone screen quality was also good. My phone is looking new . I was hesitant because I never been there or heard of them, but I definitely recommend here. Nice spot in Metairie.

Ive been here before, right around the time they first opened. I was happy with the service then. Not sure what changed, but when I called to get a quote for a screen replacement, the guy who answered the phone was incredibly rude. I came in anyway the next day, since I rationalized that he may have just been having a bad day. (Ive worked retail and it happens!

The place is clean. Some of the workers need more customer service training. I brought my laptop to be serviced. It is an older model laptop so there were some difficulties that required that my files be removed. I brought my portable drive but apparently it didnt work. So I had to bring my only laptop available and informed them I would need it back that day. When I arrived there was alot of confusion on the tech side as to what I was there for. It was partially resolved by him reading the notes on my case. However when I explained that I needed the laptop right back after the transfer he told me that they may not be able to do that because there were people ahead of me. I told him that was promised to me and he checked with someone in the back and then he came back and said it would be completed today. Fast forward I went back to pick up my laptop and after signing a receipt, I inquired about the first laptop I brought in. Had I not inquired I wouldnt have known the computer was ready. As I do not live anywhere near the place, I would have been quite angry if I left and had to come back. What I figured out during my business with several different techs us that some are more knowledgeable and customer friendly then others. That problem needs to be addressed.My other concern is there is no handicap parking available due to street construction. The curb to get into the stores are very high. I have a disability and found it quite difficult to get into the businesses. Im not understanding how people who own these buildings are getting away with not being ADA compliant.

Scheduled an appointment to fix the screen on my girlfriends Galaxy S20 and it went horribly. It took AT LEAST 4 hours, and when I got it back and left the vibration didnt work. Turned around and drove back to show them, and the long haired guy with the glasses didnt even know how to wake the screen so he fiddled with the volume buttons until I hit the power button for him. They took it back again, and when I got it back the second time they told me the motor wasnt hooked up and they just forgot to do it. I guess they didnt test it either since they didnt catch that very simple error. So that was fixed and we left again, only to discover the next day that there were fingerprints all over the inside of the camera glass making the pics I took blurry.So now I have to drive an hour back to them for them to open it up and fix it A THIRD TIME. Also, they were blaring garbage early 2000s nu-metal from the back the whole time. If you want your phone fixed and you want it back quicker than about 6 hours for the whole experience, and you also dont wanna hear 2 basement dwelling neckbeards sing bad Disturbed and Bullet for my Valentine covers from the back room while you sit and wait on them to crack your phone open 2 to 3 times in a row to fix mistakes they made then I suggest you go to the Nola one. Ive never had a problem with them and idk why I decided to go to Metairie this timeEDIT: Sorry I forgot to add, the owner reply reminded me; please dont buy the screen protection package they offer here. I bought a front and back screen protector, and upon receiving my phone back, the plastic screen they put on was terribly dented and creased. I totally understand bubbles and the rainbow effect of the wet adhesive film, but this was much worse. I could see defects in the film with my screen on. The package also came with a back protective plastic, which was applied fine, but they didnt bother to clean the back of my phone at all. It looked like I took my phone straight out of my pocket and put a piece of packing tape on it. But I requested a refund and they were very understanding and fast to deliver it. They were very nice throughout the entire process, even when returning our device for the vibration issue. If not for the camera issue we discovered shorty after I would never have given a bad review, but this third visit were going to have to make is enough to leave this bad review. The guys were very friendly, but they were very lacking in respect to the actual repair, which is the only thing I feel they SHOULD be good at

I left my phone with one of the techs to be fixed. They told me the data on my phone was backed up. When I came back a few hours later they said couldnt do the factory reset because my data wasnt backed up. It was a complete waste of time. The tech should have done been more certain that my info was backed up before I left my phone with him for hours. He didnt even tell me what the issue was initially. I just trusted him with my phone and he wasted my time by not doing thorough enough diagnostic testing. I wouldnt recommend this place. The techs they have are young, inexperienced, and not particularly skilled especially in customer service.

Seems to be good repair work (Ive only had screen replacements done here). But the service is very slow and I dont like having home+ insurance pushed on me every time I walk through the door. Getting each customer checked in, put into the system, and repair started takes far too long. I thought this was a one time thing, but it has happened all 3 times Ive used their service. Good repairs, could use a little streamlining to get faster services though.

I got my screen replaced here, and it was the most convenient experience I have had with phone repairs! When I called, they gave me a quote of what they thought would be the issue. It turned out to be accurate. When I came in, they went out of their way to explain the problem and show me the parts I was purchasing to understand why that would fix the issue. Done in under 2 hours! Very friendly here, as well.

The company website lists the screen replacement for a pixel 3a @ $119. I drive 30 minutes to drop off the phone and the price changes in store to $149 not including tax. Service was fine, otherwise.

He looked at it and popped the broken charger piece out and told don’t worry about anything that was free! Made an online appointment (time optional which worked for me because I wasnt sure when I would be there), showed up and was quickly greeted, diagnosed, quoted and paid the extremely reasonable price for repair and contacted via various points of contact to confirm repair was complete and ready for pick up. Definitely would recommend and go again if service was needed.

Great customer service! I was having an issue with my USB C port on my Pixel 3 XL. Paul was at the front desk and helped me out. He cleaned it out in just a couple minutes and I was good to go.

Seems like good work and on time. But be careful. The work order receipt when I took the phone in was $20 less than the cost when I picked it up.

They were awesome. I cracked my phone screen and was having trouble doing an insurance claim. They talked me though what I need to do on the phone. When I finally was able to make the claim they let me come in that same day (even though they were closing in an hour). They fixed my screen in about 45mins. They were so friendly and nice at the store. Thank you guys!!!

I wish i could give this place the 5th star, but my initial experience takes that away. Jarrod, the first employee I spoke with, was not pleasant. He said he couldnt find my claim by any of the information I had and he definitely needed the confirmation ID # to find my claim. This was not that easy for me, as my coming in to fix my phone hindered that. I couldnt use my screen at all. I drove all the way home to my computer to get this information, which normally because of my retail experience I would blame on myself, but when I came in not 10 minutes later, Drew, the employee I was handed to, found me almost immediately. Jarrod also decided to be short with me upon my return, there was no helpfulness, no pleasantries, nothing. Sure, when I first left I was upset, my device provider was unhelpful all morning and it is very hard to get your screen repaired when you need your phone to make claims and appointments, which is so odd, and no one was willing to help when I am already stressed this happened in the first place. I am very grateful for the fast service that followed. Under 3 hours and I had a brand new screen, thats also Samsung certified so all of the water resistant properties were assured. Drew, if you ever find this, I am so thankful for your help and for being so nice and great.

I brought my Pixel 2 XL in because the charging port was full of dust and wouldnt accept the charger anymore. Hector had us in and out in 5 minutes and didnt charge me anything for the service.

The place was nice enough, and they very well explained what they believed the problem with my phone was for no charge. I didnt end up getting my phone fixed here because the person very honestly told me it wasnt worth fixing and explained why in good enough detail for me to believe him. Its also Samsung approved so that was very nice as well.

I went to ubreakifix on Severn in Metairie to get my desktop fixed. Rodolfo helped me out and went above and beyond to make sure my rig was in the best shape possible. I built my pc myself (first build) and didn’t do the best job with the wiring (it was a mess). He reorganized all the wiring for me in addition to getting my battery replaced. Highly highly recommend, kids a genius.

Went here to find out what was wrong with my PS4, they wanted 150 for a power supply and said it would take about a week. Found Wisp and they only charged 87 and fixed it the same day 🤷🏻‍♀️ Giving four stars because the staff was friendly though and the consultation was free, place was nice and clean too. Prices are just so high.

Professional group of technicians! Have used them a few times now with multiple users in my household having variety of issues; all were resolved! I highly recommend to others and will continue to use their services in the future above all other phone repair businesses. Would love for them to open another location soon in Baton Rouge so it can be more accessible to my kids rather than coming back to NOLA.

The fixed up my note8 quickly and had all the parts in stock. They did it for about 30% less than what most other places were offering and extended a warranty that was longer as well. Will definitely be coming here for future needs. Just wish they had a location on the northshore.

I phoned them one evening to discuss the repair of my OnePlus 5 which had a broken screen. They checked and told me they could order the part and complete the repair. I phoned again the next morning to confirm since I would be driving well over an hour to get to them. They again confirmed they could get the replacement part needed. When I arrived Im told they cant get that part!! 2 confirmations from them in advance then I go out of my way to get to them just to be told We cant get that part. That was my first and last experience with them. Hell, I can order the part myself. Why cant a repair shop like this order it? Very frustrating

They fixed my screen on my galaxy and they did an excellent job. I paid a little more than the no-name repair shop, but I left with the comfort that my device was repaired with folks that were certified to work with the s8. The job was done in about 2 hours. The repair has a 90 day sanding warranty.

These guys are amazing!! My LCD screen broke on my new Google Pixel XL. I was faced with having to replace it for $500, they replaced my screen in an hour & only cost $160. They were so helpful. Well worth the drive to Metairie.

Looked around for two weeks for the best place to fix the cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy S8 +. Not only was uBreakiFix the least expensive place I could find they ended up being the absolute best. A warning to others patronizing this location - test your phone as well as you can before you leave. Dont take their word as gospel that everything has been fixed. That type of business practice probably works for the older generation segment of their customer base, but it left me aggravated and looking for other avenues.I took my wifes Samsung in to get a screen replacement as part of an insurance claim. The techs at this uBreakiFix location certainly replaced it, with the side effect of the s-pen not writing on/interfacing with the screen. The detection sensor still worked (evidenced by the vibration feedback when the pen is removed), but the pen would not interact with the screen. I understand a screen replacement on any phone is a very delicate process, but if you know that as a company then you should test any component related to proper operation of the screen once a replacement is done. I live out of town and only visit the city every few weeks, so we accepted this for awhile until my next visit.Fast forward to me going in for follow-up help - instead of the technicians agreeing to do another screen replacement (followed by proper testing), they tried to gaslight me into believing the s-pen shorted out somehow and that I should contact Samsung for a replacement pen. They knew that that was not the problem yet refused to accept it, or admit that they had not tested the phone post-replacement. I had indeed tested the s-pen on my own Note 8 and observed that it worked properly. I will update this review when I have a resolution.
