Toyota would be my go to car lot! I was in there for only 2 and a half hours and walked out with a better car than what I expected to get. The car salesmen were very nice and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase! At the end they call and check to see how you are enjoying your car and if you have any complaints! Toyota lakeside has a customer for life !
The service personnel that greeted me this morning was friendly and efficient. I arrived early but was still assisted immediately. The service visit was taken care of in a timely fashion and all services that were performed were explained to me in detail. Ive purchased three Camrys from Lakeside Toyota and can honestly say each experience was a great one.

I bought my car IQ at Lake side Toyota 2015.Since I bought my car, I bought maintenance and oil change every single time.As usually, the oil change time is came, I made the appointment and brought my car at the service. They took my car to the back.After little while, I was called, the guy said,.“ Have you ever been before?” “Yes,.” “Your car is too small to fit to the place to oil change. We can’t do it. Sorry.”Really? Really? Really????????Suddenly, You can’t change oil my car?My car is short, but width is not much different from regular car.Don’t they know my car size????Am I too cheap customer?Without maintenance, can’t you change oil?It’s unbelievable experience. I want true answer.

I was satisfied with work (general maintenance check up) but not with their time line. They scheduled my appt for one midday and did not have maintenance completed until following day after I called and informed them that I was on my way to pick up vehicle whether or not completed. This was a brand new vehicle and just a routine oil change maintenance. I’ll go elsewhere in the future.Employees were polite when you could get someone to answer the phone.
I asked for an oil change and for them to check out why my steering wheel shakes violently at high speeds. On the spot, they said my steering wheel shakes because my tires, but they didn’t have the tires. I took my tires to be checked at a different place 3 months ago and I was told they look good. Because they didn’t have the tires I needed, Toyota said they will just do an oil change and it would be quick, so I sat down. 2.5hrs later they told me I also needed to replace my air filter. I guess this is a learning experience: when they say it will be quick to replace oil and air filters, it will take them over 2 hours… i guess that’s quick for them.
Dropped off my 2020 Toyota at the Lakeside Toyota Service Center for my scheduled 15k service inspection/oil change. I usually have a great experience there and hope this is an anomaly, but I requested that they check the air in my tires, which is part of the ‘Multi-Point Inspection,’ and I asked if they could get me an estimate for the replacement of my cracked windshield. The service coordinator said they are extremely short handed and I understand that’s a problem with many businesses, but they were too slammed to provide an estimate? Fair enough…I appreciated his candidness and didn’t have a problem with the explanation being that lots of businesses are in this situation. After getting my car back I noticed the car display indicated that the vehicle and meter settings were not set and no one bothered to finish the work. They are supposed to verify the the tire air pressure is correct and then finish by completing the vehicle settings so the car has a reference point to know if the tire is low. They also, broke one of the clips on my cabin filter enclosure. I told the service coordinator that I get my filters sent to me and I change them myself, but they still called me to ask permission to change them. I tried to reach out with a courtesy call to my service coordinator and the service manager and left voice messages in order to give them an opportunity to respond and hopefully resolve the issue, but I suspect they’re busy. Unfortunately, that’s not acceptable and they need to make time for situations like this. Had they contacted me I would have held off with posting my experience. I hope the Lakeside Toyota Service Team receives my feedback so they will consider reaching out to me and so others won’t have the same experience. Thanks. -Bill, Metairie

We brought our car for a recall campaign. Drop off was quick and easy. Work was performed in the time frame we were given. Everything is satisfactory. Would not hesitate to return for other services.
I dropped my car off for new tires right before Hurricane Ida. I was not told by John Paul that the service department was going to close 2 hours early. I needed to evacuate and was at risk of not having my car. I had to beg the sales department for someone to find my keys. They could not contact anyone in the service department. Finally, someone found my keys, but when I tried to pay, the finance department proceeded to cuss at one of the salesmen when he asked him to take my payment. Everyone was unprofessional. I will never take my car to Lakeside Toyota ever again.
Everyone was super nice. I was stressed out when I arrived, and was welcomed with open arms (literally). The lady checking me in was so sweet and understanding, and a lady at the desk inside gave me a hug. Thank you for making my day better!
Radiator replacement due to crack. Had to wait one day for the correct part to come in. Got the car back pretty close to the time they estimated. Only complaint I have is that they did not clean the engine off from where the fluid had sprayed so it still looks pretty bad.
They were efficient in registering the car at drop-off. Didn’t even need to leave my car. Waiting area bright and clean. Sales person there when picked up car was friendly. Car brought to entrance quickly. Grateful for service on recall part.
They were pretty good. They forgot to do a couple things, but said that they would take care of those items next week for no charge. They are a little expensive for some things, but reasonable for others. I have been using them for years and have been very satisfied with the service.Update: Brought car back the following Monday and they did take care of the items that they forgot. Happy with service.

Service was good but I did not feel like my time was valued. I spent over 2 hours there for a simple oil change, tire rotation, and replacement of 1 tire. I was told the tire replacement would only be ~40 min but it took nearly an hour and a half.
I dropped my car off on my way to work at 8, even though the appointment wasn’t until 9. Imagine my surprise when I get a call at 8:45 saying that it was ready to go! Great, fast service! I will definitely be back!
Never buy a used vehicle with high miles from this place. They do not disclose problems with a vehicle when purchased. Bought a used tundra and first day of driving the transmission is shuddering. Never will I buy from Lakeside Toyota, nor will I let my vehicle be serviced by them. Beware!!!!!
Lakeside Toyota not only gives professional but are observant about other issues that may exist. Thus is the only place I have gone to have my vehicle serviced for the past 18 years. I know that I receive the best of service that I can depend on for my safety and piece of mind.
The service center has gotten a fantastic cosmetic lift since the last time I was there. It looks great! The service was great, too. I was finished in less than an hour, but I hear it doesnt always go that way. Always plan for staying longer just in case.

Low refrigerant level so cool but not cold air was coming through which is a problem in New Orleans summer. Probably a leak but they couldnt find it. So refilled and added dye so if it is s leak, it will become visible in the future. I wasnt charged for a repair but only a diagnostic test. I thought that was fair. I made the appointment with Jean Paul who is always on time and checks me in quickly. He never disappoints.
The service personnel acknowledged me right away and took my information. Oil change was completed within an hour, which was way better than two other Toyota dealerships I had been using. Waiting area was extremely clean and comfortable. I will definitely continue using Lakeside Toyota for service.
I have a 2014 Corolla ECO and Lakeside Toyota Service is the only team that has ever touched my car. I trust them implicitly and will not go anywhere else! Plus, the new facility is super clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely accommodating.

Service was great! We were greeted by Mark Kelsey immediately as we pulled up! She was very welcoming and friendly. Kevin was very professional and did a great job working on our vehicle. My battery died while I was at a meeting downtown. The valet folks got it running but I didn’t want to drive back to Baton Rouge with a bad battery. I had called a place downtown to ask about replacing my battery and they said the wait would be over three hours. I called Lakeside and they said if I could get there by 3 they could take care of my car. I got there, they analyzed the issue, replaced the battery, didn’t try to sell me extra stuff, and the price was the same as the other place I called. Everyone was friendly and professional.

My car would not start except with a jump. I used it several times on Wednesday and Thursday evening, I got into the car and nothing but clicking. I had AAA tow it to the dealership. They checked it and couldn’t supply an answer. The service department charged the battery. Just hoping it doesn’t give out right after my 3 year warranty expires. This is my second Toyota Sienna.
David Windfield was the nicest and most professional service manager! I was away from home and called Lakeside Toyota Service Department, due to an engine light showing on my dashboard, last night! Scary! From the first phone conversation to our final farewell, David listened and treated me with sincerity and honesty. The service was completed swiftly and I was out the door and on my way to start the day! I will definitely return to Lakeside Toyota Service Department for any future needs. I had my car serviced for the first time since the pandemic. I was greeted promptly and my car was taken immediately. It took a bit longer than normal due to the recall that had been issued but was given a loner vehicle and my car was done the next day. Her happy with my service.
This was my first time at this location since we just moved. The overall service, as in face to face people interaction, was great. However they tried to charge me more than double for a battery. After speaking with my previous dealership that has always serviced my vehicle. They made it clear that it was half the amount they said. I’m just confused how 2 dealerships can come up with 2 very different prices for a car battery. Seems like I’ll continue driving to my old dealership so make sure I’m getting service I can trust.
John is very unprofessional... Sent my truck to get fixed near the new alternator they told me it will be in within 2 days I waited 12 days finally call me to come pick it up I go pay for it I swipe my card he tells me its decline where on the screen it tells me approved I swipe my card again approved yet he tells me declined again I show him my bank statement showing that its pending for $1,300 he tells me its declined instead of being professional about it and seeing where he was in the wrong the manager comes manager also doesnt know what hes talking about I show him my account they told me its still pending let alone the entire time they refunded both of my cards to make it look like they werent in the wrong I use my card again It went through very very poor professionalism very bad attitudes be careful from these people
I’ve never experienced such rude service before. I will not return to this location. From when I dropped my car off until I picked it up, I experienced the rudest customer service. And I work in fast food. The woman who “helped” me when I dropped my car off was beyond rude. And every woman I spoke with on the phone either hung up on me or cut me off mid sentence. I am more than aware that there is a labor shortage but I do not treat my customers this way and I am well understaffed at my business. If I hadn’t called to check the status of my car, I don’t believe they would have let me know my car was ready until the next day. I spent over 45 minutes being redirected to the wrong service department then yelled at or hung up on for “calling” the wrong department. I will let everyone in my circle know not to return to this location, as we all have Toyotas. My only advice is to simply be kind and maybe you will keep customers.
If you do not have a new vehicle, do not bring your car here. They will not service it. They wont even do a thorough diagnosis.Brought my car in to be inspected after experiencing severe issues when shifting. They told me there was nothing wrong with the car. Lost gears about 7 miles after picking it up. Wasted my time here and now have to take it to another shop.
The service department has gone above and beyond what was expected. They have helped get to the diagnostic issue at hand in a timely manner. I especially would like to thank both Tina and Howard in the service department. They turned a very stressful situation into a bearable one. Thank you!
So the brakes keep making that high pitch squeak sound. I hear it, they didnt. I even heard it at the dealership and they said they didnt. So I just think they didnt want to bother. Said brakes were fine so Im not sure what the issue is.

I had to make an appointment, which was a new concept for me in getting an oil change. I was there 15 mins early. Still waited 30 mins to get checked in. Took 2 hours for an oil change. Staff was friendly and professional. Checkout was easy. The price was decent.
I had an appointment for 11 am but I waited 25 minutes to be checked in. Many employees were standing around but there seem to be no order of how the initial check in was to take place. Cars behind me were serviced before anyone asked me if I needed my help. Then, a man wearing a blue shirt walked by and said to get out of the car and wait inside. He was very rude. After waiting for over an hour and 30 minutes, another rude person brought my car back and said nothing to me. This was very poor service with seemingly angry, rude people in position of public service. So many employees standing around wearing red shirts doing absolutely nothing. Very disappointing indeed.

I made an appointment easily. I was treated respectfully by everyone. My service was completed hours before I thought it would be done. I didnt have to wait long for my car to be returned when I picked it up.

Not terrible, definitely not great.My car battery had to be replaced 4 times by Toyota every 2.5 years on average. After two years the warranty only covers 50%, fine I’ve paid for it with no questions.After the 4th time with no reason or answers why, I found it strange that the only response I got was “Well, it should last longer then that.”I asked “Is there something I can do to prevent this or is it more then just the battery?”Response “I dont know what to tell you.”I came in to fix an on going battery issue, left charged $982. When asked about the services preformed and price the response was “ I talked to her about it and she agreed.”I checked the receipt for all the services that were rendered. I was charged for front and back brakes, battery and AC belt. $500 for labor which was not mentioned with the price and the AC belt that was “replaced” was not new.Overall, My warranty for my car has been up for sometime and I did not need to receive any services from Toyota. I definitely wont be back after being dismissed and over charged. As if I throughly enjoyed being out of a car because of an ongoing battery issue that is not my fault. He couldve at least been nice or professional before taking advantage of me.

I went for a airbag recall on Friday 8am morning. I told Toyota my maintenance light came on and they said no prob, most likely an oil change they said. We will call you when its done or have any other issues.. I asked should be done by three hours and they said no, theyre really backed up and me be longer then said well call you.I called them at 3pm asked if the car was ready since I had to pick up the kid at school. They said no its not ready yet. I was getting more nervous as time was going by quickly and since I had to go to a unplanned memorial 4 hours away the next day. I didnt get a call on Friday, Sat, Sunday and today Monday I called and they said its been ready since Friday. I went to pick up car they replaced oil and rotated tires without asking me and comped that work. As Im driving home Im noticing an alignment problem which I didnt have before. I dont want to ever go back that hell hole.

I had some issues with a tire leaking and had to get the tire replaced ASAP. I called in the morning and talked to Jean Paul who got me scheduled right away. I drove over and got two tires replaced the same morning. Super fast service, professional and courteous. Also a nice little waiting area with WiFi and coffee so I could work while I waited. Awesome service and a fair price!
I have a 2021 Avalon Hybrid that has less than 5k miles. The interior glove box was malfunctioning. My first trip determined it needed to be replaced. The part was ordered and couple of weeks later it arrived. I found out it was in by making a second phone call. My first phone call was to make sure the part was ordered. There was some confusion with locating my ticket due to a misspelling of my last name. The system would not update my last name from Brisco to Prisco - my correct last name. When I made my appointment for 9:00 AM I arrived early before 8:30 and my car was taken to the back and I left around 10:30 AM. On the way home I noticed a 3 to 4 inch line pressure scuff on my console box between front seats which ran forward into the gear shift trim. I didn’t see it till I left the dealership with a lot of rain. So my eyed were focused on the road but noticed during my ride home. The glove box appears to be working probably. The waiting area was very comfortable. The employees and David were very friendly and professional. I’m hoping the line scuff settles out.
I Love my 2021 Toyota RAV4 and love Lakeside Toyota! I was set to have my first oil change and maintenance check automatically when I bought it and it was so fast and thorough when I got there. Was happy with the service except for the fact that after putting 2 new tires in they didn’t put the valve stem caps on. Frustrating to get home and realize that and either gave to go back or go get them from somewhere else

Great service. Scheduled an appointment and I was actually seen on time which is unheard of in New Orleans. Employees customer service skills were top notch. Shout out to Tina and Shelby. Opened the hood to find out the engine air filter cover wasnt on. A sincere was hanging by its wires in front of the radiator when clearly it had a push on clip. When I called service no one picked up at 4pm. Do you want to see the pictures. Whats going on over there service???

I was given an estimate of 1.5 hours for the service time of my vehicle (multipoint inspection and tire rotation). I brought the vehicle promptly at 7:30 am and the vehicle was returned at 9:00 am, just as discussed. The waiting area was extremely clean. I was able to work while waiting as they provided complimentary WiFi to guests. The representative who signed me in upon arrival and collected my payment upon service completion was very polite and pleasant to work with.
Sold me a car 4 months ago and nothing but issues. Went somewhere else and got my car fixed

I was driving to work out of town when my car started vibrating and the engine light came on. I called Toyota to see if I could bring it in and get a rental. Jean Luc was exceptional. He told me to come in. Dropped the car off got a rental in about 30 mins. He called me not too much later to tell me the problem and it would be fixed that evening. I could pick it up anytime in the morning. The whole team was extremely helpful and efficient. I was only late to work by half an hour and I work in Baton Rouge. They are always helpful and friendly even when it’s crazy busy. Jean Luc is my usual go to guy fir service repairs. Have had my Toyota for 11 years

Good service, nice staff but wait times are unpredictable. Might be one hour or 6, with or without an appointment, arriving first thing in the morning or middle of the afternoon -- it doesnt seem like much makes a difference in their timing. They stay busy and they get to you when they can. I miss the complimentary shuttle service they had before they moved and renovated; at least then you could get a free ride home (or to work) and only have to pay your way back there to pick up the car. Anyway, just plan to leave your car there and pick it up later. I continue to go there because prices are comparable and service is reliable. An estimated wait time given on arrival would be FANTASTIC/STELLAR/OUTSTANDING! PLEASE!

I went today for an oil change for 9 am and I was bit surprised that the new service building was open. The seating area is very nice and spacious. But the best part is that they were done with my car in 45 minutes! Usually I have to wait no less than 1 hour and 30 min. I hope they keep those service times up. Overall a great experience.

I had a coupon for an oil change that was $29.99. The representative was charging me $48.99. before I presented the coupon. He then told me it would be cheaper. I asked how and he said 19.99 was added for labor. I had used Toyota coupons at dealerships before and have not paid for labor with the advertised couple. I left paying over $50 for an oil change because 19.99 for labor was added to the service.
I like being able to drop my car off for service on Saturday without an appointment. They will let me know what else they think needs doing and will do the service if I agree. The young lady who is the Valet/Porter is very professional and personable. I’ve always been pleased with their work.
Third time I’ve given them another chance, never again. You can tell the right arm has no idea what the left arm is doing here. Never got a phone call informing me my vehicle was ready, that I had dropped off at 12:00 for an oil change and alignment. Called from 5:00-5:45 to get an update before they closed and finally got an answer at 5:45 telling my vehicle was ready but, I needed to get there before they closed. Was never given an explanation why I was never informed even after repeated inquiries. Either they are too busy to care about their customers or they don’t care. Disclaimer, the response for them once this review posts will be for me to call the manager. It’s their basic response they do to make it look like they practice due diligence there. Good luck to all of you that don’t heed my warning. You soon will become a statistic.
