They are receptive to concerns we had while working at our house, they are polite and knowledgeable about the business, and they are clean with their work inside too! Excellent service, very efficient and knowledgeable technician, competitively priced. I called 10 minutes before closing and got a morning appointment the next day. The tech was running a little late from the first customer but the office called with an update on his status beforehand. The problem was diagnosed and explained and the tech left to get some needed parts. He was gone about an hour, during which the office called to let me know the first supplier did not have the needed parts, meaning he would be gone a little longer than expected. Only an extra 15 minutes or so. Tech left a neat job with no mess in the house or after going in attic. Price was 10% lower than competitors quoted. No upsell or sales pitch.

Awesome Family owned company that has done great work for me over the years.They have done work for me for both residential and business. Theyhave great customer service, and are very easy to work with.

When I bought my house the company who installed the heating and air system wouldnt sign off on it, so the seller hired Calcotes to do that - they came and did about $1200 worth of work and signed that all was in working order - that was June 2013. In November 2013 when the heater didnt work I called them and they said it was probably the thermostat that was broken and a visit would be $200 to replace it. I waited until the weather got really bad in January 2014 (barely six months later) and they came out and for $397 said it was set to the wrong level and rewired it. Only it blew out the electrical because a) they wired it wrong, and b) they didnt follow the instructions that were sitting on the unit itself. They then told me that it would take $1200 to fix the problem. Another repair person came out and took photographs that showed the absurdity of the situation - sitting on top were the instructions that clearly said how to wire it - these instructions were not read (obviously) - and they would not fix their problem so this repair man was able to fix all that they had not done and undone for $90.So far my real estate agent at Tommy Crane has tried to resolve the issue with them but they refuse to see how this is their problem.So Im here to tell you - dont use them. What good was the sign off when I purchased the house if a few months later the system didnt work and they charge me not only to come out and fix it but they burn it up and I had to pay a reputable service to do that and still havent seen any reconciliation from this company.Bad news.
