My oldest started here in the little dragons at age 4!The training and life skills have been awesome and we love the instructor, Mr. Gorham. Currently she is learning more advanced skills in the Hero’s class and even helps out in the younger classes.We are super excited now that we have enrolled the younger kids because I know they will gain so much focus and be coached to be the best they can be!!

My daughter attends and the instructors are super nice and spend time working with the students... The instructors also are teaching them very good values and respect for themselves and others...UPDATED: Wanted to update my original post as this was really a special time and memory for our family and not sure why I had accidentally put in only a 4 star rating as this experience should allow for way more than 5... 😀We really miss Mr. Gorham and how well he did with our daughter and all of his students, and if didnt move from Mesquite she would likely still be a student at 13... After moving we continued to make the 40 min commute until she earned her junior black belt, and to this day she even still remembers her forms... 😀 Thank you for teaching and never stop...

My daughter has been in this school for almost 5 years. She learned a lot and Im confident that she can defend herself if she needs to. I highly recommend to have your kid(s) learn martial arts with Mr. Gorham (great teacher by the way).

My son has been attending for a year now and he loves it! Not only has he learned how to be more respectful and defend himself when need be, he has broken out of his shell and has been more talkative which I love! I highly recommend mesquite martial arts academy!

I know 5 stars seems extraordinary, but when youve been a paying customer (parents of a student) for over 6 years and you cant think of a single issue - my wife and I believe the 5 stars are deserved.This place (Mesquite Martial Arts) is a place you need to check out, whether its for yourself (adult classes) or a child. Its right there in the heart of Creek Crossing - its clean, its fun and theres not a minute of wasted instruction. The owner, Keith Gorham, has been and is, a solid instructor and a ideal role model for my son.Thanks Keith for teaching him about doing the right thing not only when it comes to karate, but in everyday life. As a dad, he hears it one way coming from me. But from you, it takes on added emphasis.I also think its a testament to Mesquite Martial Arts that not once have I heard Dad, I dont want to go today, or Do I have to go to karate?He always wants to go. Hes excited to go. Hes learning things that hell carry with him all his life that will help him and possibly others as well.Professional with a capital P. So, I say ABSOLUTELY try them out!

Great instruction at a very appropriate pace depending on the general age of the class... Coach Kieth adds value to his instruction of the martial arts with life lesson stories incorporated in class. If your looking for a self esteem building activity for your child that fosters growth of the whole athlete, then this is the place for your family!!!

Don’t take your kids there! If you get any emergency in your life and can’t cancel membership on time they will not refund your money. My father had a stroke 2nd of July, he lives in Russia so I flew out the next day. I just came back to United States and canceled the membership because I need money now as I am paying for my father’s nurse in Russia and this company refused to refund the two month tuition. Yes, they have cancellation policy but they don’t care about their customers. Sometimes terrible things happen in life that a cancellation policy is the last thing on your mind but they don’t care, it’s just business. The worst customer experience.

My son attended this Academy. I was in process of going though a divorce and my son went to live with his mother so he would not longer could attend. I informed them at on July 27 his last day attending thay he would not longer be attending. I was assured that no more money would be taken out of my account. Come to find out I was still being billed in Jan 2016 before I noticed the transactions. I called and was informed that I needed to fill out paperwork to be unenrolled, I was not told this on July 27th when I told them he would not longer be able to attend. This is not an honest way to do business. He takes attendance before each class and didnt realize that he was still charging me 5 months after my son stopped attending. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
