Not impressed. I thought my first appointment was for a cleaning and x-rays. Nope, it was for a consult...with a dentist.Went for a couple of cleanings, but just felt like it was going to always be something that needed to be taken care of, a reason for additional visits. So I didnt go back.I thought I let them know that I wouldnt be back when they tried to schedule another cleaning. Then I started getting calls to come back in, so let them know to stop calling me.A few days later, I get a letter about how concerned they are of possible periodontal relapse.You know, I managed to find another dentist.

Great staff! Every one, including Dr McKnight, took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. I never felt rushed. They clearly know what they’re doing and I feel like I’m in great hands! I’m glad I found them

Dr. McKnight has been my dentist for many years. He is a very kind and giving person . He wouldnt charge me after a filling he performed because it was in a difficult place . He didnt have confidence that it would hold up for any reasonable period of time. There are not many specialists that have this kind of ethics. He is a great dentist and very honest.

The entire office aced the first time impression, to say the least! Donna is absolutely wonderful! She is so friendly and warm, she makes you feel at home. Dr. McKnight was amazing! He is very thorough in his explanations of his examinations and procedures. Answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. All I can say is WOW! This office is over the top. The do so much to accommodate you. I got stuck in traffic and was 20 minutes late. It was no problem. They got me right in. Everyone was so kind and friendly. I am a horrible dental patient. But, Dr. Mc Knight answered all my questions (probably more than once) and all his staff were so very helpful. My up coming procedure is in about 2 weeks. Cant really say that Im looking forward to it but, I do feel very confident that Dr. McKnight and his staff will go way above and beyond to make this go smooth and make me comfortable. Shelly (Michelle) normally is my hygienist but was not in today. This was my first time having Milly as my hygienist-Milly is outstanding! Dr. McKnight hires the best! / We first went to Dr. McKnight about 15 years ago for my wives TMJ. Talked with the Executive staff of the Dental Society regarding dentist who treat TMJ and Dr McKnight was very respected. (Earlier days they did dental students didnt receive comprehensive training in TMJ. Byron did this on his own initiative and many hours of Continuing Education Courses.) We could only give them 5 Stars cuz thats all they had to choose from.

I have been a patient of Dr. McKnight for about 20 years now. I like his preventative approach to dentistry. His staff is efficient and very friendly. I usually only need my teeth cleaned, but the times when I needed any serious work done it was done with my ease and comfort in mind. It may be hard to believe, but a visit to him is actually fun. I really enjoy and look forward to my visits.

Dr.McKnight and his team exceeded my expectations. From walking in the door and immediately being recognized by Donna! LOVE IT. Made sure I was well accommodated. After getting the run around from other dentist, I felt at ease after leaving my visit. He was by my side my whole appointment walking me through options. His staff was very informative and patient with me. From my silly questions and concerns, all was answered. Kelly was very kind with me when doing my X-rays. She even showed me some cool stuff on their microscope! Who would of known! Would definitely recommend!

I just visited Dr. McKnight for the first time this week and it was by far the best experience I have ever had at a dentists office! The staff are incredibly friendly and take time to make sure all of your history is correct, that you are comfortable and answer any of your questions. They explained the process and everything that was going to be done before it happened which helps ease any anxiety about procedures. I would recommend Dr. McKnight to anyone looking for a dentist, you wont find someone who will give you a better experience or a prettier smile!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. McKnight over 20 years. He has always provided good council on our dental needs. He explains what needs to be done and the approximate time and cost involved. His work is great and it lasts. Prior to our going to him, I actually had work fall apart within months if not weeks! He is an excellent dentist with an excellent staff. You will feel welcome and as if you have known everyone for years. They know what they are doing and work to make you comfortable and as pain free as possible. I highly recommend Dr. McKnight.

I recently moved to Corinth, TX and still go to Dr. McKnight because it is worth it. He takes time to come see every patient during you visit, no matter how routine it is. Also, I always feel like I get a deep, thorough cleaning and not just rushed in and out of the office. All the hygienist are very nice and fun to talk to. Overall, its a great experience every time I go.

They are not in my dental plan, almost went where my dental plan is accepted...however, remembered so many good things about this practice, came back here and so glad I did. My entire family loves Dr. McKnight and his staff - we laughed yesterday about the picture in my file where Im in HS and wearing a shirt dated 1998! Dr. McKnight is terrific at any necessary dental work - no lingering pain and I dont even need the laughing gas. When I moved across the metroplex he referred me to a new dentist who told me He did such a great job that I cant even see where these fillings are! I just started going to Dr. McKnight in March at my husbands recommendation. The standard of care here is excellent, and client satisfaction is definitely a priority. Dr. McKnight explains things very well, is very practical, and the technicians are fantastic. I had my first cleaning with Michelle today and she was thorough, pleasant, and efficient. Ive learned a lot about my dental health that I didnt know before.

I be had some very bad experiences in the past with other dentists and Dr McKnight is very sensitive and sympathetic to my concerns and really goes above and beyond to make sure that I am comfortable and that I feel in control. Ive been a patient of Dr. McKnights for almost 20 years now. Hes a terrific dentist who consistently is featured in D magazine and Texas Monthly. His staff is also amazing - I love my hygienist, Michelle. When I moved across the metroplex I asked them for a referral to someone closer to me. During my first examination with that dentist he kept going on and on about how Dr. McKnight had done such great work on my teeth that he couldnt tell which of my teeth had been worked on. Now I drive back to Mesquite to see him - if even other dentists rave about him, why would I go anywhere else?!?

Dr McKnight and everyone who works at his practice are incredible!! I have always been _terrified_ of dental work!!! But they are willing to work with you on all of your needs, however unique!I happened to find them via 1-800-Dentist and couldnt be happier.I have had cleanings, a root canal, and 10 fillings with Dr McKnight. And every experience has been wonderful.For the root canal, they let me listen to music, put me on laughing gas, covered me in warm blanket, and let my husband sit in the room with me and rub my feet!!For the 10 fillings, the office arranged an anesthesiologist to put me under (due to my extreme fear of fillings). It was a simple and peaceful experience!!I would recommend this dentist to anyone for any possible dental need they have!!! Everything is clearly explained and they will answer all of the questions you might have!

My wife and I have been using Dr. McKnight for several years. They get all the basic things right: scheduling, reminders, billing, etc. Everyone we have met in the practice has been cheerful and helpful. I especially appreciate that I am affirmed for taking care of my teeth, not rebuked or lectured for lapses, and that Dr. McKnight tends to take a wait and watch approach instead of pushing for procedures that may or may not be necessary. Since he takes that approach, I pay close attention when he does express concern about dental problems.

I am such a fan of this office, from the front to the back. Everyone is very knowledgeable and welcoming and the technology and bedside manner are fantastic. 18 Years and Going Strong! We first saw Dr. McKnight and his crew 18 years ago. We have been part of his family ever since. The entire crew seems to go out of their way to make sure you are not just properly cared for dentally, but perhaps more important, that you are part of their family. We called early Monday morning to see if they could fit us in for a problem check (my case) and a cleaning (my wife). We were in and out by one in the afternoon, well cared for and completely happy with the care we received. Thanks to Donna, Melissa, Anna and Dr. McKnight for taking care of us!

I have been going to Dr McKnight for 30 years-ish. I continue to drive to Mesquite despite living in Carrollton because the level of care that Dr McKnight and ALL of his staff provides is always amazing. And - Dr McKnight does great work! Case in point - I have a veneer on my front tooth that cracked 2 days ago. They were able to fit me and resolve the issue in 30 minutes. Always, always fantastic!

Since I have experience from working in a dental lab, both appts were very quick but very informative. I got on line at 1:30 in the morning and requested an appointment for a painful tooth. Donna called after the office opened and they worked me in that day. Dr. McKnight assessed the problem, scheduled the work I needed with an oral surgeon, wrote prescriptions for the medications I need and I was out in no time. He and his staff are like family to us.
