Great place with good that old school feel! Real barbers with clippers and clean fades, not to mention the friendliest people youll meet. Ive had a cut by Lee, the young man and the other ladies who work here. They are all very knowledgeable and make you feel at home. Easy to talk to and they make sure to give you just what you ask if not better. Thank you guys for taking care of my haircut and beard. I felt 10 years younger!

My adult son has been going to LGs for at least his last 3 hair cuts. Today he was told not to return because hes WHITE. Very sad! No longer supporting non-inclusive/prejudiced local companies if they cannot be inclusive.So if youre white guess you cant go to LGs in Mesa, might not want to go to one in Tempe either since its the same owner and evidentially they are prejudiced.

Lee was quick and experienced (25+ yrs.). If you’re looking for a barber on Tues or Wed. Stop in.

I asked for a medium low fade and the barber gave me a high fade. He was talking on his phone the entire way through before, during, and after the haircut. I also asked for a trim and he didnt listen to that either and buzzed it. WORST barber experience I ever had!!!

My son absolutely hates getting his hair cut, always has, even at 13 years old. (He has sensory issues bc of autism). Lee cut his hair perfectly and in such a short amount of time that my son was amazed and actually happy to have had his hair cut by him! If you knew my son youd realize thats a big deal! I have been looking for a new barber shop to call my home...somewhere where I know I will always feel welcomed and somewhere where I trust the people will always fix my hair and beard so I feel my best. I found that here at LGs Barber Shop! I usually go with LG or Steve at Tempe but I have been to their three locations and have gotten haircuts and beard shaves with different barbers, and they ALWAYS leave me feeling my best! Their barbers are always so nice and you can tell they genuinely care about their work. Im a big fan of their prices too because in the past I used to go to another barber shop where they charged me way much more, but left me with a horrible haircut. Their prices are very fair for the services they provide! They have TVs and a kids corner at every shop, perfect for families or people with kids!

While a great cut, nothing is worth this exorbitant price.

They have three locations and I love them all! They have excellent barbers and such a friendly atmosphere. All three shops have various televisions for the customers and all three have a kids corner where kids can play while they wait for their turn! I recommend any of their barber shops for anyone looking for QUALITY cuts and awesome people. Most if not all the barbers there are also bilingual!

I came into this Barber Shop today and LG took care of me and my son. He did a fantastic Job on both our cuts! During our service, a man came in and took a look at the prices and complained. Apparently they were too much. I feel the prices are excellent! Definitely worth every penny! Dont listen to the negative reviews, they take care of you here and give you a five star experience

This is my original review copied from my yelp review:The only barbershop I go to and take my husband to. Been going every week for over a year and they have the best barbers in AZ I trust with my hubbys hair. My husband has recently had surgery on both his legs so he is in a wheelchair. The compassion and kindness they showed to him both before and during his struggles have shown me that they are truly nice people and flexible barbers. They would cut my husbands hair from the wheelchair when they place it in near their machines. Overtime we walk inside we are received by a simple friendly hello. Their barber shops have a different vibe to them, and they never do us wrong and they always do a perfect job. Their prices are listed at the front when people walk in so I dont see why some people have a problem. Its a fair price to pay for the excellent services they provide. Everyone in there is awesome! Definitely recommend

I gotta tell you, I needed a haircut done fast and well because I was leaving town for a business meeting and wasnt gonna be able to get one after landing before the meeting. I came to LGs Barbershop and Sury gave me a haircut better than what I was expecting and she was fast. She also asked several times throughout the haircut if it looked good to make sure I liked it. Definitely go and check it out!

Sury the female barber and other barber’s do a wonderful job and they make sure you like the haircut and are always asking questions to make sure your visit is good. It’s a great service I’ve been coming here every month or so for the last 2 years so far a great experience

Horrible hair cuts! Overpriced hair cuts and no care for quality of the cut. It seems like they just want to get you out the chair ASAP and overcharge you for a poor job on a hair cut! 21.00$ I stopped here because it was closer than my usual barbershop. Unless you want to pay for a messed up hair line id advise to go some place else.

Was helped by the gentleman in the first chair on Tuesday and was overall impressed with the entire experience. He was quick, but not so much that he was being careless, more like he knew what I wanted and delivered. Will be a returning customer for sure.

We love coming to this barber shop. Great haircuts every time we go. Roberto is great. He gives the best recommendations and is real friendly. LG is great as well. He is only there on Tuesdays and when we go, its always a great experience. This is one of the best barber shops in Arizona.

Moved into Arizona 2yrs ago, found that my biggest adventure was finding a barber shop I appreciated. The barbers at LGs are good people, both professionally & personally. Always welcoming and open for good conversation. HIGHLY recommend.

LGs Barber Shops are the best! I used to go to the Tempe location but like going to the Mesa location for location convenience and Roberto is there on Thursdays. Roberto takes his time and at times has fixed my childs hair from other barbers, he also advises me on the best hair styles for my son. All the barbers are great and trustworthy.

Second time here. I sat down and the Barber in the first seat was talking down to the other barber at register. Not professional to argue price, out load in front of customers. So, I told the barber what I wanted and that I had sensitive skin. He shaved my neck and it began to bleed in two areas, he called it razor rash.... but it felt like he was trying to remove a layer of skin. Ive never had this happen before. My beard and mustache were crooked/uneven and my neck on fire. Again I go to the register and Mr. First chair is arguing price and I was charged $36 for a haircut and beard trim?? I go home and had to fix beard, mustache and finish hair left around ears and on neck. Also had to fix a high spot on top of head and soothe the burning neck. Will not go here again.

Great barber shop. I usually go to the shop in Tempe but the guys in Mesa are just as good. Ive been going to this shop since they were located on Baseline and Rural near The Lakes. Always satisfied with my haircut. Ill be back.

This shops the best never disappointed I’ve let multiple of their barbers cut my hair, they all do very good work, my 4 yo used to be scared of getting his hair cut, now he sees us pull up and he’s excited and runs in to see if he’s next!

Roberto is the man! Best fades in AZ! Love coming to this location, never a wait and if there is one, its usually not that long. My Dad and I have been coming here for a long time now and have LG or Roberto do our hair. We always leave the shop looking like a million dollars!

I came in a few minutes after they had just closed. The barber saw me and took me in. I was able to get a great haircut and beard trim. Thankful for these guys and their understanding!! I felt bad for coming in late but I really needed a cut💯

Decent-ish haircut. I showed a picture I wanted the cut based off of and it didnt end up looking like that at all, and it was a lot shorter than expected. Customer service didnt seem great but the cut I recieved was pretty good.

I went to LGS in Mesa I brought my kid 3 years old. He never lets anyone give him a haircut but today he did. And all 4 barbers look professional

Very unsatisfied with the service I received this morning, the second chair in, the barber was in too much of a rush to get to the next guy he didnt even finish my haircut. I wanted more done & he said he couldnt because the other gentleman has to be at work soon. I will definitely not be returning.

First class haircuts a real barbershop, after I got my haircut I brought my brother over to get his cut he was as pleased as I am.

I went in last month with long hair came out bald... Half way through my LOW FADE it was so high and messed up... I had to ask for it to be taken all the way down... Barber seemed amused by it but I still paid the 18 plus the 2 dollar tip... His excuse was the barber school he attended trained him that way and due to my race it should grow back quickly...
