My vehicle wouldnt start, I walked over to KB told them my problem, the Service guy Paul came over found the problem (dead battery) drove me to Auto Zone to get the New one drove me back home and replaced the battery! Theyve just earned my respect and patronage.

Just picked up our truck from them. Our experience from beginning to end was great. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. We are in a bit of a battle with a previous shop that is responsible for ruining our transmission and Brad, Kenny and team went above in beyond in explaining things to me & they were willing to talk to others on our behalf. They quoted me a price after diagnosing the truck and that is what we paid when we walked out the door. Obviously only time will tell as far as workmanship and how long this Allison transmission will last, but I trust that these guys will stand behind their work like they said.

Called to get an estimate on rebuilding an engine and then the gentleman on the phone told me they don’t work on Hyundai’s. Even though their website clearly states they work on foreign and domestic engines. The guy on the phone says we only do LS’s

Absolutely terrible!! All they do is lie to you. They tell you were getting on, it were getting on it, were getting on it and they never get to it. You can never get a straight answer over there. I highly do not recommend

KB Transmission is the only shop I will let touch my transmission repair/rebuild,,they are absolutely the best! Weve known Kenny for over 20 years, he and his team are freindly, fair and trustworthy.. weve had a few cars to him, always happy with them.

The first time they built my trans it lasted 5 years. And I took it back to rebuild going on 6 years with a larger torque converter

Had a new transmission put in shortly after installed transmission went out within a 2 months of having it back so they came and picked me up told me it had a bad pump in it so they replaced the pump got the car back lasted another maybe 2 months went out again pick me up they took it in fixed it said it was a pump issue again third time it went out same thing came and picked me up towed it in and said that it had another bad pump in it so they said that they would buy an oem pump and put it in there so they did that had it for another few months went out again came and got me and then they told me that there was something with the torque converter wasnt shimmed right which I didnt think you could shim a torque converter but they said it was shimmed wrong so that caused it to go out so they fixed it got it back again transmission went out again took it back to him for warranty work which they had it for like a month this time and then when I went to pick it up for warranty work they handed me a bill and told me it was because my transmission cooler it needed transmission cooler and I said it took you five transmissions to figure that out and I asked them how did the transmission cooler that came on it from the factory it lasted 220 something thousand miles and I bring it to you guys still driving I was just concerned about the high mileage on it they charged me $2,000 to overhaul my transmission and all I got was junk so I had a good running vehicle before I took it to them because I was concerned about the high mileage on the transmission for all I know they just changed the oil on it and told me it was a new transmission because I dont know how the transmission fluid in it right now can smell so burnt and have metal flakes in it and its been sitting in my backyard now for two and a half months I dont even have a vehicle to drive thank you guys at k&b transmissions for selling me junk and ripping me off I hope you sleep good at night.

No BS, up front and great customer service.I brought my lifted Chevy into this shop with a suspected transfer case problem.Kenny took a look at and found that it was not my transfer case, but my drive shaft rubbing onto my crossmember.He gave me the option to repair the problem.And they did!No more rubbing and topped off differential fluids.I have dealt with some shady shops in the past, but Kenny and his crew restored my faith in honest shops that take pride in there craftsmanship and attentiveness to customer service!Thanks you KB! I went to Aamco and they wanted to charge me $1,200 to look at my transmission! I knew there was a solenoid problem. Kenny set me up an appointment in 2 hours fixed everything and my truck is running great for $250!! He treated me with respect and was very awesome deal with! Great shop. I came with a trany that wouldnt shift into drive. It needed a rebuild. Fortunately they had one already rebuilt. I was on the road by the end of the day. They art very friendly and behave like they have nothing to hide. KB is also very busy a good sign of an honest business. Thank you for your great work.

KB did a great job replacing my cars torque converter at a reasonable price. They essentially corrected issues that were left behind by the local AAMCO years ago. One of the workers even took me into the garage and showed me the smashed up parts from my old transmission - not a lot of places will do that. Would recommend to anyone needing work done on their car.

Garbage service. Price agreement was one price, and then I was charged a whole different amount. Will not suggest these jokers.Update 4/1 - After further review, they failed to install the exhaust correctly. Completely disappointed.

Called to talk about getting some work done. Was told repeatedly I had to come down in person to discuss work, even though the car was disabled and I couldnt get there between 8-5 because of work. Went over on Saturday morning to find they have NEVER been open on Saturdays, despite what their website and yellow pages say. What a joke.

Complete rebuild of the transmission in my 2010 Dodge Charger. Runs great, shifts right and I couldnt be happier. And at a fair price too!

I took in my classic 1956 chevy to have them see why the 700r4 with overdrive was taking too long to shift into 4th gear. Kenny looked at it and called me the next day to tell me it was fixed. He made adjustments to the tv cable, did a throttle body service and put in another governor and it now shifts perfect. I would recommend Kenny to anyone. He is honest and doesnt try to sell you on what you dont need. The charge for the work was reasonable and I would go back anytime. Excellent place to go for transmission work.

We were told by auto zone to take our daughters Nissan to KB Transmissions so we did love auto zone, we took the car in yesterday at 10am and they said they would call us back sometime in the afternoon, so by 4pm i called them they hadnt looked at the car. Next day we called them around 11ish and still nothing Kevin said Kenny was working on it and Kenny would say Kevin was on it, SO finally we called them at 4 pm and they told us that lots was wrong and they rattled off all the codes we got from Auto Zone So they still didnt know what was going on. So i would never recommend them to anyone not even somenone i didnt like. If you want your car fixed you might want to take it to a real mechanic who knows how to troubleshoot a problem and how to use the phone to call the customer that have entrusted their vehicle to. if i could rate them i would give them a -5star rating. Bad BAD BAD
