Daves Auto is the best automotive place around. Professional, kind and honest. We have a fleet of vehicles that we only take to Days for our work trucks. We all also take our personal vehicles there too. Wouldnt go anywhere else. Have been using them for 10+ years with no issues.

First time customer of Dave’s Auto Repair Clinic. Usually fix my own vehicles but just didn’t have the time so I gave them a call. Was able to bring my truck in the next morning. I already knew exactly what needed to be fixed and the labor involved so I was pleased when Dave’s didn’t try to hit me with unnecessary repairs/charges. Seems to be a good outfit, will take my business there again in the future if needed.

Daves is great. Ron is kind and honest. They dont rip you off here. I have taken my care and my fathers car here for years. Firestone tried to rip me off and this shop saved me hundreds of dollars! I cannot recommend these guys enough.

I was referred to Daves by my boyfriend, who has his company vehicle serviced there. Ive never had an issue with a vehicle before in my life. I had no idea what to do. Without hesitation, my boyfriend suggested Daves. The communication between myself and the shop has been phenominal. Ron is great! *IF* my car ever has any issues in the future, I know I will have a trustworthy and reliable place to go!

Ron and Daves Auto was referred to me about a year ago and I have been more than pleased ever since. Never have they attempted to take advantage of me. The prices are what they are, but the quality of work and the turn around time is worth it. Recently, I had 3 oil leaks on my Yukon and they not only fixed it but cleaned up the mess it left over the last couple of weeks leaking all over the undercarriage. I am very meticulous, so this was a huge surprise and relief. This is not normal in the industry, but it should be and Daves definitely represents going above and beyond.

My family and our family business have taken all our cars here ever since we found the place. The bottom line is that if they say you need something, you definitely do. They dont push you to fix anything you dont need right now, but they will let you know about potential future issues they notice so you can be informed and prepared. Their prices are fantastic as well, and its just nice to trust that they only fix what you need fixed and at a good price to boot. We consider Jim a family friend at this point and regard him very highly.

We have been going to Daves Auto Repair for about 3 or 4 years now and have never been disappointed unless you count the cost of auto parts which unfortunately is out of Daves control. Daves work has ALWAYS been top notch. Weve never been disappointed and his Manager Ron is a straight shooter who tells you the truth without trying to sell you excessive product and services like the dealerships do. We refer Daves often and highly recommend them for your auto repairs.

I took my van in there because it was making a squealing sound. They call & say its the rear brakes which will be $165 & they also mention a there is a clip on the front brakes that could be replaced thats $120. I am basically led to believe by the guy on the phone that the rear brakes are the problem with the squeaking sound. I am not made of money & am in fact struggling very much right now just to pay the bills so I say just do the rear breaks if they are bad, that other thing can wait. They fix the brakes, I go pick it up & when I am driving off I hear the exact same squeaking sound! I call my husband who works out of state & tell him. He calls them & basically finds out that it is the clip actually making the sound. They basically just threw in the rear brakes to get extra money but bc they mentioned rear brakes first in our phone conversation I thought they were the main problem. What is there solution? Bring it back in & they will fix it for a discount, $100 instead of $120, that is on top of the $165 already paid them for rear brakes that probably could have waited to be replaced. Very disappointed & they need to communicate better between the phone person & the mechanic as to what the real problem is and the tell the customer the exact cause of the problem not lead them to believe something else so they can get more money out of them. People are not made of money in this economy!

Are the most honest mechanic shop that Ive been to they wont sell you something you dont need great job guys

I have been going here for many years and have (2) vehicles. Their service seems to be going down hill, on the oil changes the fluids are not topped off, I have a fuel pump replaced, I supplied the part, they never checked their work. The pump failed after a few minutes running. The part was was installed wrong causing this problem. The Manufacturer warranty covered the part, Daves did not want to refund the labor? So, I wont be using them anymore. I ended up redoing the rear pump again myself, If you want something done right,do it yourself

Beyond Horrible. Most people would not believe the poor quality of work they did on my car. Everyone I have shown it to, has just shook their head in disbelief. They screwed a silver flat head screw with 2 mismatched washers through the door handle where everyone could see it. This was on the 3rd tip to repair the same thing. I have create a WebSite with pictures of the work they did so you can make your own judgment. It can be found at dignet.us/daves if you want to look at the quality of their work before you use them. If they do this kind of work where you can see it, then what must they do on internal repairs. I have no idea what I am going to do to make my door right again. I just know that I will not be going to Daves any more.

Arrived in Gilbert after a long trip and car heated up. Was advised to take it to Daves. Turned out to be major problem and they were very honest and efficient and had it fixed for the long trip back home. Would highly recommend them.

I will never go anywhere else. Daves Auto is the most honest repair place around. When other car repair places try to make you pay a bunch of extra for erroneous work that doesnt need to be done, the people at Daves tell it to you straight. My family has been going here for years. The last time my mother went there, she was worried it was going to be an expensive trip since her check engine light was on. It turns out it was just an emissions issue and could be put off until she needed an emissions test. You know they give good service when all of the cops take their cop cars there. I have recommended Daves to friends more than once and theyve all been immensely happy with them.

Replaced an Alternator for my wifes car, kinda steep on the repair, but they did the job quick. My problem is they only offer a 1 year warranty on the parts. True to form, it broke and no warranty. Auto Zone, OReilly, NAPA, and others offer lifetime warranty on these parts ????? Whats up with that ? SO now im stuck with paying a super high price for a part that didnt last very long, with no warranty. Thanks Daves . I will not be going back there ever again. I cant recommend a place that installs crappy parts and cant provide a good warranty when lifetime parts are available.

When I was a teenager I would take my car in for any thing I thought was weird. So about every couple of months, lol. As a teenage girl they could have totally told me anything was wrong and I would have believed them. They always handed me my keys and told me it was nothing and sent me on my way. I take used cars I want to purchase to give it the once over. They give an honest and fair assessment every time. Once even chewing out a guy for trying to sell me a lemon.Sent my sister in law in to them when her suv was throwing 7 diffrent codes! They looked it over and there was nothing wrong, and explained, those things sometimes go off if you put high miles on. I now live in South phoenix and I still haul my cars to them for everything. I love this place, I wouldnt go anywhere else.
