Lees Auto is amazing! The best car shop Ive been able to find. Customer service is always very nice, friendly and keeps you well informed of costs. Ive taken our cars in for a variety of reasons and their pricing cant be beat! Never going anywhere else for my car repair needs.

They got my inoperable car in for repairs almost immediately. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and accommodating. Repairs seem to be good. My only beef is that the price seemed to be a little high (Im not a mechanic so this is just anecdotal)...but Im very happy with the entire experience. I will use Lees again in the future!

I was over 1700 miles from home on a crisis travel nurse assignment, scheduled to return in a few weeks. My check engine light came on. I called Lees, received courteous help and information from the staff and top notch repair service. I had a cracked hose which was repaired. I felt confident to return to Tennessee, which I did eventually without incident! 5 out of 5 STARS for Lees Auto Repair in Mesa, AZ!

Ive been coming to lees for years. Although Lee has retired the new guys have taken over its still a place of choice for me. Customer focus, prices are little high but worth knowing you will be taken care of. Waiting room add new site is definitely nicer than last location.

Overpriced services, cheap parts installed little to no business ...not even sure why the doors still open ...tax evasion for employee was executed at this facility

They always take great care of me and as long as they have the mechanic they have there I will never go elsewhere! He always has my car running like new!! Plus Tara in the front office is beyond amazing!

Rented a uhaul here but after meeting Tara and Graham and listening to their customers I plan on bringing our vehicles in to them. There was a minor hiccup with my reservation but they more than made up for it and were very considerate. Seems Tara runs the show and is the heart of the place. She was the reason I will keep coming back and refer them for all the services they offer!

Lees also runs a U-Haul rental at this location and goes above and beyond. We were running about 8 hours late with our trailer rental due to a medical emergency with my granddaughter. Even though I know the manager was in a rough spot because we had a trailer for the next customer, he was very understanding and compassionate. What could have been a very traumatic day was made less so by his one act of kindness and his words of comfort. If for no other reason than simple human kindness, I would certainly rent from this location again and recommend them to all I know.Thank you!

Just recently I had my car to Lees for a check-up before a long trip. I have used Lees for the last fifteen years and have found their work to excellent and the entire staff is very honest in dealing with automotive issues. His rates are very good and customers dont get stiffed with exorbitant prices. On occasions, if they cant fix the problem, Lee directs me to a facility that can repair it. Just recently I had a tire sensor that needed replaced, but Lee told me Discount Tire could do it cheaper and I should take the car there. Its pretty hard to find that honesty in the car repair business. Lees shop always keeps me informed if they find something that they hadnt originally told me and always gives me the price. I have never experienced having to take the car back because they didnt fix the original problem. If they cant fix it, they have never charged me and if I had overpaid, they always return the money. People who live in the East Valley are fortunate to have this shop around the repair their cars.

Awful Service--Slow, Unfriendly, Not Helpful!We took our car in yesterday morning and were told they wouldnt get to it that day but to come in the next morning at 7:30. Okay, if you know youre not going to touch it I guess thats nice. But when we went in today they told us they couldnt help us. We have now wasted two days when we could have taken it somewhere else if they had told us in the first place they dont work with anything transmission related?! (Assuming we know what were talking about when we say we think it may deal with the transmission somehow...) My husband had to get to work so we didnt have time to take it somewhere else, meaning we now have to wait until tomorrow (Wednesday) and we were planning on leaving town Thursday!Frustrated with the owner as well. We could hear the receptionist talking to him in the back but he wouldnt come out and even speak with us directly. We have no idea if it seems like a serious issue or not-if we can wait until after our trip to have someone look at it? I wish he would have at least looked at the car, or spoken with us to give us an idea of what we might be dealing with. We have wasted two full days and have absolutely no idea what might be wrong.

This place is amazing. Most honest repair shop Ive ever been to. Ive gone in a few times for things I thought was wrong. Instead of them fixing something that wasnt broken, they told me most of things were good and only charged me for minor repairs. They could have got for more, but were honest in diagnosing the issues. Thank you Lee and your staff. I drive from Maricopa to take my car in because I can fully trust them.

This place is a joke. I received a quote for one thing and went in to pick up my car and was charge $168.00 for them to look at my car. They then tried to hustle me for more than $1800.00 for repairs that supposedly needed to be done. I went to another shop and it cost me $0 for them to tell me what was really going on. I dont write reviews often but these guys pissed me off. I know everyone needs to make a living but seriously come on. My vehicle was fixed for less than $100. Lees Auto Repair are Liars, Scam, horrible management. To think the manager was the one that gave me the quote from the get go and tried to back track. If I could give no stars I would. Do not take your vehicle here.

As someone who doesnt trust mechanics as they usually try to screw you and make you pay for a bunch of stuff that doesnt need fixed, lees is the first auto shop that Ive ever gone to that has been straight forward and does the job right the first time without trying to upsell. Plus their staff is very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend them for anyone trying to find a good auto shop.

Great experience working with Lees. The dealership wanted to completely change the AC compressor, hoses, etc. With Lees crew, they were able to diagnose the problem, test that the compressor was OK and make the repair for far less money than the dealership and in much less time. He also took the time to explain the problem in detail, options and recommendations so I knew what was going on. First time customer, but will definitely return.

BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!My boyfriend and I were on a road trip about to leave that evening when we decided we really needed to get the car looked at because it was making a weird noise. The people here are so nice and helpful. They looked at our car, test drove it around with us to see what exactly was going on, and they found the problem almost immediately!We had called Meinkes before coming here but they were so incredibly rude over the phone so I am so happy we found Lees. They wrote us a report of what they found AND gave us recommendations for repairs at our convenience. Beyond phenomenal service, I would always bring my car here if I lived in AZ!

Have been going to Lees old and new location for a couple of years, always get honest, good work and service. I usually just drop my car off and bike home, but have been told they also have a drop off service and can pick you up or drop you off while working on your vehicle. Recommended.

Always treats me with respect, provides quality parts and quality workmanship, offers competative parts and labor pricing and is always very sensitive of my time, my needs and what I want done and what I need to have done.. Shop is spotlessly clean. Mechanics are in clean clothing and they protect the interior and exterior of your vehicle from grease, dirt and scratches while being serviced.

Lee is an honest man with a great staff. He could have easily charged me far more than he did. I recommend him to all my friends.

Do not use Lee Auto repair. He is a thief and a liar. I called because the AC stopped working. I explained that I had an extended warranty and would this be an issue. He said yes and silence.I worked with clients for most of my adult life and the correct answer is “No problem but you will have to do this or that first.” I should have taken his rude reply as sign of the service I should expect.After we sussed out the warranty and payment I brought the car in. I was told the system was over pressured by the person who installed coolant (me) and that Lee auto discharged the coolant and refilled it correctly and its done. No one ever called me to tell me what was wrong with the car or what it might cost. I finally called at about 1pm to see if they had looked at it since I usually hear from the shop when I bring a car in and I had dropped it off at 7:15am but no phone call from Lees.OK $150 .. done and I made sure to go to the bank to take out cash so he wouldnt be hit by a transaction fee for using my debit card.Two days later try the AC and get 5 miles and the air starts blowing hot air. Same symptoms I brought it in for. I tried to call the shop at 4:30 pm on Friday but no one answers the phone. Hours are stated open to 5pm.I bring it in on Monday and explain that it is not fixed. He tells me I am not on the list but he will try and look at it. “not on the list” you were supposed to have fixed it.He tells me now it must be a leak since they found a leak but you cant have a leak and be over pressured so the leak story doesnt hold.Now we have taken two vacation days to have the car repaired. He says an electrical connector was loose and that was the cause of it failing… Hmm why wasnt the entire system checked when I brought it the first time.“oh by the way no charge” .. great .. except for that extra vacation day we lost. We drive it less than 5 miles .. Cool air stops and hot air blows out.At every other shop I have ever visited they take a test drive. Shoot, my motorcycle mechanic wont put on a tire without a test drive. If any of his techs had taken the car to go get pizza for lunch they could have seen that the car only blows cold air for 2-5 miles. Shoddy service and BS story tellingSo now 2 vacation days with one more coming and I am out $150.00 and it still doesnt work. I could have used the time and money for a proper service.Cannot recommend
