This review is a To Be Determined- what will they do? I will updated it should things change but here it is in a nutshell. Approx. 1 month ago (July 2021) i noticed drywall coming down in a newly remodeled shower (photo). When i went into the attic, i noticed water coming off a soaked duct from our almost 1 year old, brand new unit of which i paid over 10k purchase and install. The water was running onto and soaking the drywall and insulation from this duct. I placed a pan under the issue and called the company immediately. (Photo). The next day the company sent a tech that made it clear that it was an installation issue, wherein between the duct position and the speed the blower, the condensation was being blown right into and soaking the duct. He cut open the duct, turned down the blower speed, left the duct open to dry out and said someone would need to come back to finish it and I received a bill over $200 which i had to fuss about twice before i received an email from them saying it was covered as still under warranty. Now, 4 weeks later, no one has called, even after an additonal email asking them for an update...waiting to see, are they going to fix this duct? My drywall? I received a bill to repair and repaint the area for $325.. We have also noticed a sunstantial amount of cool air in the attic? I was recommended by a good friend and until now, had given them other recommendations- but this just simply isnt consisent with those recommendations. I will update this post with how they handled this issue with me!!!

Tim was so helpful in finding us the right system and solution for our house. We cant believe the difference now that it is installed. Red Mountain Air has been my service provider since they had a local office, probably at least 10 years. Service has always been excellent including once when the receptionist talked me through a fix to prevent us freezing. With the time finally here to upgrade our freon system, I read all the stellar reviews and called them for a quote. Tim and John came by and said all of the right things, they knew their stuff and gave quotes for several systems with the appropriate pros and cons. The prices were very good but the biggest surprise came on installation, Reno and Esteban are outstanding. They are a team that worked individually on different parts of the install, very professionally and quiet and respectfully. The job site was left secure and clean. I strongly recommend Red Mountain Air and will use them again when my second unit needs replacement.

I was referred to Red Mountain Air Conditioning by my friends and I would definitely refer Red Mountain Air Conditioning to everyone.After the usual maintenance on my 10 yr. ac unit, I was told I needed a new fan motor because it was wobbly. Because of the unit’s age, I decided to get quotes on a new one.Red Mountain Air Conditioning confirmed that I neither needed a new fan motor nor a new ac unit at this time. With annual maintenance, I should have my ac unit several more years.

My ac went out late last night. I went to thier website to request next day service on Memorial Day. Got a call @ 730 advising they would be out in just a few hours with a call from the tech prior. JD called and arrived 15 mins later like he said. His diagnostics were quick and got right to the fix. Ive used Red Mountain Air previously and have always been given great friendly service. JDs service was nas no exception. I will keep using them as long as I can.

AC fan wouldnt spin, no cold air so I left a message at midnight on Saturday hoping just to get a response on Sunday to set up an appointment. Not only did I get a response first thing Sunday morning, the technician, Pete, was out to the house finished with the repairs and I was back in an ice cool air conditioned house before 10:00 a.m. that same morning! I have used Red Mountain for a few years now. They helped me initially to fix some issues another AC contractor left behind. Recently we had a 5 ton Carrier air conditioner and furnace installed by Tim Friederich and crew at Red Mountain Air. The crew did an excellent job in tight working conditions in the attic (crawl space) and at 105+ degree temperature. Because of the narrow ceiling access opening they had to disassemble the old unit and disassemble/reassemble the new unit to fit through the available space. All of the crew were professional, courteous, and hard working. Job clean-up was outstanding. Additionally, two weeks after installation Tim performed a thorough walk through inspection to ensure there were no problems, I highly recommend Red Mountain Air.

Red Mountain was recommended to us by our neighbor who is particular about his dwelling so I basically knew he had done his homework. I had an older system that was hot water heat and that caused some problems with the air conditioning. Since I also found out Red Mountain had done work on similar systems, I felt that they would be a good fit for me. I was not disappointed. They arrived timely, worked hard for several hours, did a great job, cleaned up after and were very professional in the installation. The system appears to be running as, or better than expected. Cooling is faster, system is quieter and I am extremely satisfied. I would recommend them with confidence.

Had the guys out within 3 days to do the install and they were here most of the day, needing to get creative with my install due to tight quarters. We replaced our heating and air conditioner and had two quotes and Red Mountain had the best quote so went with them and because many in our complex have used them and recommended them. They have excellent customer service and you are able to reach someone when you call. After the work was done, the one who gave the estimate came and checked the work to make sure it was done well and that we were satisfied. Would recommend them.

I have been very pleased with the service from several technicians I have worked with at Red Mountain A/C, formerly C&M. I appreciate that they are not paid on commission so there is not an incentive to push unneeded parts or repairs. They are honest and willing to explain technical details in simple terms. I was very glad that I took their advice to install a safety switch 2 years ago, which worked last summer and prevented me from having a big mess and water damage in my ceiling. I would recommend this company highly!

I received a recommendation from a friend about Red Mountain Air when my air conditioner stopped working. 1. They came out when I called them and found the problem after I had called several other companies - yes, even on a Sunday. They got it going for a fair price, and offered me that discount if I ever wanted to purchase a new one. Mine was 22 years old. 2. When I wanted to purchase they sent an engineer, Tim, to evaluate my air conditioner. They looked up who had recommended them to me and commended the man on all aspects of how he investigated them and other companies and had them replace his. Tim went up and took pictures of it and shared all the photos with me. He went piece by piece, so I would understand what they would do. 3. I wanted a Trane. They only sell them. He went over all costs up front so I knew exactly what the cost was. I payed half. 4. I ordered it and a few days later Techs came and I received a new air conditioner in a day in a half. I had an air scrubber put on because I have a dog that sheds. 5. Tim was just here and checked all the work, went through the house to make sure all vents where working optimal, checker temp in each room to make sure it was balanced. checked on the roof to make sure all was correctly done, even checking my flat roof repairs and that the drain was taking water off the roof. He had to do some engineering to make sure that happened.I cannot say enough about Red Mountain Air. Their attention to detail, great techs installing, clean up, and follow up are excellent.I highly recommend Red Mountain Air of Mesa.Mary Ann

Tim Friederich, with Red Mountain Air, went out of his way on a Wednesday evening to meet with me to make sure I had good information about my HVAC needs and got me scheduled for a furnace/AC installation right away. The installation team was timely, courteous and went out of their way to make sure my home was back up and running with no issues. Rhino, Alex and another young man with them (part of the team) made special efforts to protect my home while they worked. They also figured out a way to get the unit in the backyard without the need of a crane, saving me money. They even painted my wall when the replacement thermostat was smaller than the original. Good thing I called, as I was able to get someone to come out by the end of the day👍🏼. When the technician got there, I prayed 🙏🏼 he would get it working. Shortly after I heard my AC turn on. I love dealing with companies you know you can trust and C&M is one of those. When they have come out for inspections they dont try to sell me a bunch of things. They just find the problem or problems and fix them. They are also a good resource for making your home more efficient.

Our original AC unit, installed in 2005 at time of house construction, was performing poorly the last couple of years and the SRP bill was increasing as a result. After 12yrs it was time to replace the unit, especially since my wife and I had little confidence it would make it through the 2017 summer. This was in mid-April and we didnt want to wait until the heat of summer to get it replaced.We researched quite a few companies, had some estimates and called Red Mountain as the last one to come out before making any decisions. The sales rep Tim came out on a Saturday morning, early in the time window he gave us for arrival. He even called to say he was nearby and arriving soon. He was, professional, personable, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. After a thorough walkthrough and check of the current system, Tim took plenty of time to explain our systems issues and several options for new units. We settled on a unit that fit our budget and needs. What we really appreciated was that he explained upgrade options BUT did not push to upsell them.Tim had a crew at our house for the install that Wednesday morning (3 days after the estimate). Two excellent, friendly, professional techs showed up on time and a third joined them within 30 minutes. They were respectful of our home and laid down tarps to minimize dirt, worked hard and knocked the job out in 6.5hrs (with only one short break) and cleaned up perfectly when they were done. Although the install was fairly quick, they didnt rush the job and took the time to do it well.Tim came out a week later to ensure everything was installed properly and working well. It was! What an amazing difference the unit made in both home comfort and energy savings (cut the bill almost in half from the previous summer). The office also followed up shortly after to check that we were satisfied with the job... and we were... still are!This company is outstanding with performance and customer service (and pricing) all around, from the office, salespeople and technicians, which is becoming more rare these days. I got to know Terry 19 years ago when I first got to Phoenix as he was servicing the HVAC for the restaurant I worked in. Naturally, when I needed new A/C for my home he was the first guy I called.Not wanting to make a decision solely by blind faith, I did call a few others for comparison and Red Mountain stood head and shoulders above the rest. The initial visit (and the following ones as well) was friendly and professional. They took the time to discuss my options vs. other companies that tried to force their solution on me.The installation was done professionally and on time. They checked to make sure everything was working well and followed up later to make sure things were still great. Two years later I cannot find any fault with the service that was provided and I confidently recommend Red Mountain to anyone that needs HVAC service.

I cant actually speak to the services they perform as Ive never used them. However, I was in Scottsdale turning into a restaurant drive-thru a while back. I finally made my way into the drive-thru when a man in the Red Mountain Air Conditioning truck started screaming, gesturing, yelling in my direction. He said that I cut him off and he should have been ahead of me in line. I dont know for sure if I did or didnt, it certainly wasnt intentional at any rate, there was a huge mass of cars coming from every direction and it was a total madhouse...I truly didnt mean to cause any harm or to cheat this guy out of a place in line! I was shaken and I left the drive-thru line. At that point, he drove after me, rolled down his window, blocked my exit, gestured at me, and continued to scream about how I cut him off. I felt pretty threatened. I called the number on the truck to let them know about what happened. The woman who answered the phone had no apologies, she justified it by saying that it was really hot out and the guys had a really hard job, and that she didnt like it if people cut in front of her either. While I have empathy for the fact that it certainly would be a hard, sweaty job in the Arizona summer, I still dont think that behavior is ever okay. I have to wonder if he would have acted the same way toward a big burly guy as he did toward a woman in a car by herself. At any rate, I wont be calling them, ever. I dont need people who exhibit road rage over waiting 30 extra seconds for a taco and people who threaten women they dont know to be in my home.

Beware! I called to get a bid on a compressor since I already knew what I needed and they wanted to see the unit first I agreed they gave me a quote not for a compressor but a new unit. I ultimately decided to go with another company to replace the compressor. Now they have been bugging me to pay them for a service call and insist that I signed their paperwork therefore I owe them.I told the lady on the phone who could not even copy the address for the job right on the invoice that this is a mis-understanding she kept saying I signed for it and it is now a legal contract. I told her the $69 is not worth my time and is not the point so I will pay them since they need it more than I do! But beware as things arent always as they seem
