Curtis Jackson was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He took us through the whole process with no issues, asking us the right questions every time and he is a very nice man. Next year I want him to do my taxes again.

I was called back in for an one hour appointment to explain some things. upon arrival the tax expert asked me to read the standard ledger for my rental apartment. This is a supper familiar document for anyone who has any accounting experience. His questions, how much in repairs & maintenance. I went to the group labeled Repairs & Maintenance and read the total to him, then we did this for the other retentive categories. When I take the time to prepare a complete package for the preparer and he wont or does not know how to read a General Ledger it pisses me off and leaves me no confidence in his abilitys beyond using your version of Turbo Tax.

The Merritt Island office is so efficient and courteous and make me feel so welcomed. Leslie Funck does my taxes every year and she does an excellent job. She is top drawer to me. H%R Block is lucky to have her working for them.

Maureen was wonderful again this year - always prompt and professional. Could not have been more pleased with her and the office staff. Followed safety protocols which I really appreciated!

It was not a good experience. After everything was entered I was told I owed 5,000.00. I questioned it and asked why I didnt receive child tax credit and was not supposed to be penalized for taking from my 401k because of covid. Finally Leslie came over and fixed it and now was getting a return of 2,400.00. And if not for Leslie I would have paid 5,000.00 because my so called tax Professional told me thats what it was and she was sorry.

I like my tax preparer Linda N. and she has been doing my tax return for several years now. So far there has not been any problems.

They have done my taxes for the past several years with few issues. This year, Ola didn’t know about the waived penalty for early withdrawal from IRAs. She filed it then found her error later and filed an amendment. H&R suggested I send the whole initial amount $12K, and wait for a $6K refund but weren’t sure. Which means I need to come up with an additional $6K that I don’t owe due to H&Rs error. This is the second time I’ve overpaid due to their errors.

Laurel at the Merritt Island branch literally changed my life. I’m a 21 year old server who had no idea how to do her taxes. She made taxes make sense to me. She helped walk me through my own W-2 and explained everything in a digestible way with the most authentic smile on her face. This woman is a goddess.
