Service man was prompt and fixed our dishwasher. However, this was the 3rd repairman we have had out to fix this less than 3 year old Kenmore Elite dishwasher. 2 motherboards have been replaced and now the start mechanism and we still have the lighted number area not showing the whole number. Would never buy from Sears again, after what we paid for this unit and the money we now have invested, if it breaks again we will buy a Bosch, which we should have done in the first place.

Original cost listed was $89 for coming out. Repairman came on time and left after being paid $200+ saying a part would be ordered. Part was delayed for weeks and we ended up getting a part online and repairing the thing ourselves. Repairman was nice but the overall service was not what I would have expected from Sears.

We have had a few visits and were lucky enough to get the same technician, Mark. He was so professional, helpful and on spot in repairing our appliances! We have always had great experiences with Sears warranty. We have it for all of our appliances. Worth every cent! Great job!!

Total rip off. Part was $55.00, was charged $355.00 for labor. Repairman was here for 50 minutes. Was very rude when I questioned him on part price and labor. Never again, will call small repair service.

After taking the day off from work for a confirmed appointment and receiving 4 reminder txt messages, I receive an automated message at 2:PM the day of the appointment telling me to call and reschedule.I called, supposedly the tech called off at 9:AM and next available appointment is a week away.Must be great to have this much business and such poor customer service.

Bob, my Sears technician, was professional and knowledgeable about the issue preventing my oven from working. Provided specific information and clearly explained the problem to me. He ordered the parts to be sent to my home.. they showed up on time... he showed up the next day and all is repaired to excellence. Flawless, painless experience. Thank you!

They were really good about scheduling a time for the repairman to come out. He said that he had to order parts. We received the first package a week after repairman was here. The reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 star was it took almost 3 1/2 weeks to get the other part needed. Other than that did a great job fixing everything.

Found problem quickly - so far so good. I am not convinced the problem (not defrosting properly) is fixed but seems to be a design issue with Whirlpool refrigerators.

Really good service from a trusted brand and network of service techs. But Sears needs to, at least, offer AM or PM windows. Heck, if the cable company can give 2-hour windows, Sears should be able to provide morning or afternoon appointments.

Everything went smoothly from the initial schedule call through repair. I initially called a local repair company and struggled with them for over a month. Big mistake. Then called Sears and it was taken care of. No drama. No hassles. Fixed right the first time. I am very happy.

Home repair service was great, but disappointed in time taken to get the part in. Part was apparently shipped and then returned for some reason, and I had to wait a long time to get another one. Once it was shipped to my home, technician promptly came out and did his usual great job on getting my tractor up and running again. Overall I rate him and service on tractor as five star and excellent.

Service representative was quick to identify the problem and parts needed. There was one major part that required ordering. The service representative ordered the part and automatically set up a follow-up date to install the item. When the part arrived, it was installed with the unit now working properly. I am a strong believer of the Sears service contract system, one of the main reasons that I consistently purchase Sears appliances. The service representative was one of the best repair persons I have dealt with in recent years.

The worst experience ever!!!!! They came out to and attempted to fix my dryer twice and charged me $275 and 3 weeks later it’s still not fixed.Now they’re giving me the runaround about issuing a refund. They told me it would take 10-15 business days for a refund. I was patient and waited. I called yesterday and was told someone call me back within 24 hours. No call back so I had to call them again and now at first they said no refund will be issued but after awhile, she stated she would resubmit my request. I’m sure just to get me off the phone. Ridiculous. Never ever use them!!! Would give zero stars if able.

Mr Clark Sims came out today and repaired the air Conditioner Heat pump yet again.I spoke frankly to Mr. Sims about our concerns with transparency and not being on the up and up.because on 4/5/17 He previously had stated we needed a new unit because of the Condenser coil was bad and said was not warranted. This was not the problem.on 4/14/17 We called again the unit stopped working this time he ordered a Condenser Fan Motor.and replaced it. The motor stopped working was defective .On 4/19/17 He came again replaced the condenser fan motor again.on 4/27 Clark came again to repair defrost Relay for heat pump and Reversing Relay for the heat pump, Stated he had to go to pick up a part in Melbourne, left wire and nuts on the ground. and he would be back. latter, though Clark called and stated the parts would be ordered. and would return on 5/3/17. we had noticed he left parts on the ground nuts an wire. on returning today my husband ask what the wire was, he stated it was not needed though after installing the new part he had to go back in and reinstall the the wire that he had removed. we have documented the wire and nut he left on the ground the previous week as we are no longer confident with this service man. he left no work orders on any of the previous visits. (except today repair. ) although we have requested them every time, as is standard practice with Sears. I have documented this complaint with Sears Representative...Clark stated he sent the previous work orders to my email. We have not received them to date.Sincerely,Kathy Kowalsi

Thank You Sears Appliance Repair Tech Drew! He cant help it he has to work on a lemon of a refrigerator!! Poor guy has been to my house in April 2018 & Feb 2019 to service my expensive LG Side by Side Refrigerator which I purchased on Oct 2016.This fridge stops cooling!! (I believe Jason was the tech in May 2018 for the same reason.) Drew replaced the mother board so Im hoping for another good year. Im really afraid to buy any groceries for fear that I will have to pitch more food!!

We started out with two problems:1. Water was condensing on the refrigerator section door seal.2. The Ice maker was getting jammed periodically.Note:We had six visits from Sears Appliance Repair (June 1, 2018 thru July 12, 2018) during which,many of the unit’s electronic components were removed and replaced at least two times. Thetiming between visits was controlled by parts delivery schedules.We still have two problems:1. Water is still condensing on the refrigerator section door seal.2. The ice maker now makes Ice OK if somewhat slowly but no longer dispensed same.When “cube” or “crushed” buttons are pressed, a continuous beeping sound is emitted, but no ice isdispensed.ResolutionI don’t believe these problems can be fixed by having the same crew replace the same partsover and over again. Perhaps it is time to declare my unit a lemon, replace it, and take it back to your shop to use as training device.

I have no issues for the actual service, however making the appointment and getting the work done have been a disaster. It took six days to get my dryer repaired. I made the appointment and was scheduled for three days later (not bad at all). The service man arrived and said he had to order the part. He made an appointment for Friday. The part arrived on Wednesday. I called to move the appointment up to Thursday and was told no, but that she would contact the serviceman and tell him to make it a priority. I then got an email telling me that I had to schedule an appointment to have the part installed. I called and they said to ignore that email. Then I received an automated phone call saying I needed to schedule an appointment. I called back and they set our repair for Friday between 10am and 2pm. I guess thats the earliest they could make it! At 2pm, on Friday the serviceman still hadnt arrived. We called and they said he wouldnt be there until 4pm. Finally we received a call from the serviceman saying hed be there shortly. It shouldnt take six days to get my dryer repaired. I will not renew my service contract. When the dryer breaks, Ill buy a new one from anywhere except Sears!

The technician told my girlfriend the drier was on Low temp so it doesnt heat on low. So nothing was wrong. Ive been drying my clothes on low the entire time Ive had this dryer...and surprise its not drying tonight. Ill be home the next time.

Worst customer service everHad a service technician visit to repair my elliptical bike...he removed all the the 3 wires he thought that needed to be changed...more than 5 months ago...despite all the calls they still have not been able to deliver all 3 wires for the tech to finish his job...$150 for nothing!!The absolute worst third party service I have ever experiencedM.A

Shane, the repairman was outstanding!!! Figured out the problem quickly, ordered the part needed, and returned to install it. Range works perfectly!!!! We purchased the Sears annual appliance repair plan after he explained to pros and cons. Thanks Shane and Sears!!!

Had two visits because a part needed to be ordered after the diagnosis. Sears has a great appointment program, they give you a window of time but you can log in and get real time updates as to when theyll arrive. However the repair itself hasnt fixed the refrigerator issue yet. Its improved (was only cooling to 54 deg, now it cools to ~41 deg) but its not fixed. Just set up a new appointment which is covered under the 90 day parts and labor warranty period...but the customer service person I spoke to tried to tell me I only had a 30 day warranty and tried to get me to buy the $320/year warranty. A little sketchy. Will give this one more try to see if they can figure out the issue.

After waiting four more days to have a technician service our air conditioning because the first tech couldnt figure it out we were given a window of 1pm to 7pm on a Saturday. Well that kills a weekend day for the most part. We end up getting a call at 630 from a tech saying he wouldnt be at our home until 9pm-10pm. Sears doesnt seem to have enough techs to do the job. We paid for a service contract w sears and have always been an advocate for the service and value we received. We wont be signing up with a future service contract once this one expires

The repairman was friendly and courteous, he misdiagnosed the issue a couple of times. But by process of elimination found a leak in the drain hose. Fixed it quickly and waited to be sure that it was the right solution.

Service repairman was fine. Did his job it was the whole booking process, not being able to provide credit card over the phone and an 8-5 window for service that was unacceptable. Plus the call center was very unprofessional. Could not understand the operators and background noise was distracting.

After waiting about 10 days for the motor to be replaced the technician either broke the heating element on my dryer or didnt put the dryer back together properly. Today hes coming back to fix that. Rather aggravating to go 2 weeks now without a dryer only to have the technician fixing the original problem screw something else up.

This is why you are going out of business. Your description tells me I can buy parts from you, but your physical location is wrong. When I try to call you, your voicemail system is an idiotic barrier. When I finally can breach that barrier, I spend forever on hold. Forget it, Ill just use a local business. If that fails, Ill order from the internet. Survival of the fittest, Sears. Youre going to wither and die.

The service technician was excellent very professional and was very knowledgable. Issue was corrected and explained how to make sure it doesnt happen again. Very clean and courtese. Sears had an online discount of 20 per cent off labor and parts which helped with the final costs. I found the diagnostic fee a little high especially since I did have the Samsung Dryer repaired. Overall very pleased.

It took 4 weeks to get the part because the name of our store wasnt on the package, when it finally got installed the fix lasted 2 days and it is broke again because the part wasnt secured to the machine. Worst service ever.
