Mark is a hero. I want to give him a special thanks for the service he provided. It was a busy day and a long line…. I had just gone through a recent really tough death in the family and he was able to help me get a really important painting shipped out to one of the family members. I went through orientation and training to become a Cca before deciding to do something else & they didnt pay me all I was owed.... Ive sent emails, spoke to supervisors and the post master and still NOTHING!! I am sooooo disappointed that it was completely disregarded, as if I didnt need that money for bills.... Literally my car payment! To fix an error on their behalf, MY PAYCHECK, would be wonderful.3 wks later.... Still no paycheck.... Thieves

I recently had an issue where I could not open the larger box with the key left by the postal worker and was unable to retrieve my package. I called the post office and spoke with Jeremy who said he would reach out to my carrier, and within 20 minutes there was a knock on my door and the Postal Service carrier had my package for me. I really appreciate the effort by the post office to get me my package. Great customer.service!

Update: Still no sign of the missing paychecks so we had to contact the places to tell them to cancel those checks and tried getting them a different way. Still cant get ahold of anyone that seems to care. Still blamed us for everything. I really wish there was a different option to receive my mail because I do not trust these guys at all.Original post: They are rude, unprofessional and seem like they really dont care about anyone or anything. We have been having problems with the office, customer service and our mail carrier. They have refused to deliver our mail as punishment (their words) for having a car just a little too close to the box yet our neighbors car was too yet they still got their mail. Mail went missing (including paychecks which we still have not received) even when the mail tracker said it would be delivered that day. No one has any answers as to where they went or what is going on but when i confront them about how rude and unprofessional the mail carrier had been they blame me. I just want my mail! This place is shady. We have tried to contact a higher up to take the complaint to the next level but no one will tell us the information to contact said person.

Visited this post office 6 days before Christmas at noon and fully expected a super long wait. Despite the long line, the employees were efficiently and kindly helping folks quickly and I was in and out much faster than expected. Great experience!

Seen some tough reviews of this Post Office here, and admit I was nervous, hopefully improvements are in the works. My customers package was late delivery/misplaced, I called and spoke with Gwen, she was fantastic (and of course I was polite as well so you receive what you give). Well I ordered something through Best Buy and usps was delivering it. The day it was supposed to be delivered said it was late and would be delivered by midnight. The next day it said that it would be delivered that day and each day it said that but it never came. Today is the 5th day and now it just says delayed. I tried to call but I got the same response. It’s late and on its way to the next facility. What facility if it was ready since 5 days ago!!!

A little mad that only one employee was wearing a mask. My place of employment forces us to keep them on at all times when we are interacting with others. There was no regard for others seen. The woman I saw, Bonnie, mumbled too much and leaned around the glass to talk to me and hand me my receipt. No mask.

I paid extra as given the choice by window CSR to deliver a package to Costa Messa CA for a three day delivery and it still has not arrived at destination. It is now going on seven days not received by my party. I went to the post office to speak to the supervisor and give him tracking number, who was on break with several employees. Twenty minutes later when he finally came to window, his attitude was rude, unhelpful and vague where my package was. I asked him if he could please call the annex to find out what happened or where it was in transit, he said No, he could not call them. He kept repeating in was in transit...I asked where in transit? This supervisor is the worse one yet. He said I should have paid $96 to get a 10 lb package if I wanted it delivered overnight. I never asked for overnight I told him... I asked where it was in transit? The online site never disclosed location, six days later its in Anaheim in transit to where again, packaged still not delivered? I understand in these times, it rough for everyone, but do we need a SUPERVISOR who is incompetent and unable to solve issues. The window reps were more helpful in at least trying to get him to the window. ONE SUPERVISOR WHO NEEDS TO BE DEMOTED!

Good service is typical with the exception of Mark. Not sure if its a power issue or other. I was mailing something and he blurted, you cant send it like that, youll have to take it out of the envelope and do it all over. As I told him that I had mailed a letter like this in another office the way I had it, he said, thats not how its done, Ive been here over 20 years and it doesnt go out like that. If youre in line, wait for one of the other workers, not worth getting the attitude. Fortunately he hasnt afflicted the others that Ive had the pleasure of being helped by.

I frequently have to take numerous boxes filled with bulk mailings to this post office for my boss. Today,again, I drew the short straw and ended up with Mark. He had just finished harassing a gentleman who was sending ashes of a loved one. I know this because Mark loudly announced the boxes contents no less than 4 times and made heartless jokes during the transaction.My boss spends $800 to $1100 each time I bring those boxes in. Each time I have Mark, he harasses me even though my paperwork and packing is correct. I do the exact same transactions at the Fivemile location and never have a problem. I should not have to feel punished because this worker has to do his job! And shame on him for tormenting that poor man mailing his box!

I needed help finding a lost package. Was in line less than 2min. Explained issue to desk clerk. She immediately said she would need a supervisor. Supervisor (Heather) came immediately and was friendly and accommodating. She promised to call later today with an answer and gave me her direct number in case I needed it. Very impressed!

Changing all shipping services to FedEx. For some reason this location seems to lose 15-20% of our packages. Then claim they never got them. Have had in town shipments somehow make it to New York, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii, only to come all the way back here. Total waste of inventory and shipping charges. I was there a couple weeks ago, and there was the usual line. While I waited, I got to watch a compassionate employee help someone make a package for odd shaped item. She made a container out of pieces of a box, with a lot of tape. She explained that it was totally mailable, despite appearances. I feel Way better about my sketchy Amazon returns packaging! And line moved fast, like it always does unless Im in a big hurry :-) Having lived around the country and visited a few I think our post office is great! Especially with the population growth and the same post office for many years.

When instore their typically as fast as customers allow them (if customers are difficult or slow they cant do much), sometimes their understaffed for the time and should really have more clerks out. But the phone service is STUPID, you used to be able to call them but now its a 800 that is a mine field to get through (took me 6 tries) to get to a real person that will never come. give us back calling to the actual office!!!

I predominantly use USPS for my shipping needs (typically 10-20 packages per week) and things have been smooth sailing for the most part. I have had some issues before, but mistakes happen ; especially when you are as large as USPS. Its how they handle the issues to resolution that I care about, and that has been satisfactory. Usually takes one call to the main USPS line.Unlike the current trend of Google reviewers, I wont be chastising the Meridian USPS location and its employees for the logistical issues that occur in a very small percentage of packages sent. Most of the time, the issues are in larger sorting facilities anyway.The morning crew is very friendly in spite of being short staffed. Between 8-9AM during the weekdays, expect a small wait as its usually one postal worker (rarely two) . Its all about the service.

For some reason they couldnt deliver the package. Why? because it wouldnt fit in our mailbox? Either way, they left us a redelivery card. Except they didnt try to re-deliver. And the tracking number on the card was not recognized by the 800 number I called after not receiving the package. So....after a frustrating few days, I was lucky enough to get the correct tracking number from Amazon. USPS has messed up two numbers. When I entered it, the number was no longer listed as no recognized. Instead, they said it couldnt be tracked. So..now its a Saturday afternoon on December 23rd. Im screwed.

Sent a card to a friend with $100 gift card and his house key in it. The letter showed up in a transparent postal service envelope because the original envelope had somehow been ripped open at one end. The key and gift card were gone, big surprise!

Slowest post office ever! My tracking number is showing that my package arrived there on Friday, its now Wed afternoon and its still not out for delivery!! Really??? And they apparently have no working phone numbers....just 1-800 numbers. So I cant even call them! Both local numbers I could find for them on websites didnt work. So frustrating!

I went to claim damage protection that I bought for my shipped item. But when I got there and explained my situation, the lady said the box isnt damaged enough so we cant do anything for you. When I shipped my item it worked perfectly fine and didnt have the front end damaged, but because your box doesnt have enough damage then I cant claim the protection that I purchased. So thanks USPS for destroying my package and then not letting me use insurance I purchased!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a Post Office. Clerks are slow as can be, could care less about the customer experience, rude, combative. Replace these clerks with automated tellers and put them in the back sorting mail. Maybe that would reduce your terrible delivery times.

So far the Meridian USPS has lost 2 packages this month. The best part is I had two packages that were supposed to be delivered on the same day and only one arrived! Whoever delivered the mail flat out did not even attempt to deliver the second package. Both packages had been scanned as out for delivery at the same time. Its a federal offense to steal mail and clearly the mail carrier needs to be looked at for not doing their job, and for having packages that are scanned into their care randomly disappear.

I was walking up with a heavy box that I needed shipped. They saw me and locked the door! They refused service saying they were closed! It was 2 min before 5pm. Then I used the after hours machine as directed. I knock on the door after paying my money. No one would answer! So long story short... paid them my money and still have my package. This is the 2nd package in less than 2 months that they have delivered to the wrong address or not delivered at all and marked it as delivered. MY HOUSE DOESNT MOVE!! My landlords received their mail just fine that same day but yet my package is nowhere to be seen, and I am not in an area of package thieves. Last time they said they delivered it- but it was still with the carrier. This time I have to wait after the holiday to figure out what the **** they did with it. My landlords have told me nothing but awful stories about USPS which is sad, because back in Spokane I had no issues with them.

Honestly, Ive mostly only had good experiences with this post office. There have been occasional mis-deliveries, missing packages, etc, but every time something happens I fill out one of the online forms with usps customer support and I get a call back from the post office within a day. The staff at the post office has been extremely helpful every time, and my issues have always been resolved, whether its locating a package or filing a claim. The actual mailmen arent always reliable and deliver my stuff incorrectly sometimes, but the post office itself has been great with resolving any issues Ive had.If you need to get ahold of customer support, I HIGHLY recommend using the email customer support tool online and having the post office call you regarding your question or claim instead of navigating the 800 phone system.

I wish that the score would allow you to do less than 1 star. This is absolutely the worst post office that I have ever dealt with in 65 years! They continually dont pick up scheduled pickups, they bring other peoples mail and I have called numerous times to complain and speak with the so called supervisors who are unfriendly and uncaring and they say just keep calling us every time you have a problem. Why not fix the problem instead of allowing it to happen over and over! Obviously there is a huge management problem. They have NO interest in customer service whatsoever. Sadly, zero stars would be far more appropriate than one. The Meridian post office desperately needs an effective LEADER! Employees at the front counter are downright rude (just short of being combative) and unfortunately, their supervisor has the exact same affliction. The past two years weve been forced to endure non-deliveries, failed pick-ups, non-recognition of mail suspension requests, receiving the wrong mail, lost mail, returned mail, incompetent temporary carriers, and extremely poor management. This post office is dismal at best.

Extremely rude inside and didnt listen to my issue at all. I am waiting for a package that the Post Office said they tried to deliver on the 5th and left a note. They did not attempt a delivery and they did not leave a note. I went in and asked about mail delivery and they said I would be getting my mail and the package today. Checked again tonight and now the website says they were unable to deliver due to conditions. FedEx and UPS dont have any problems delivering my packages. Both have been to my house in the last two days. USPS is a joke!

The only online phone number available goes to a fax machine (loud tone). There was NO delivery today, here in central Meridian -- how tough is that? -- and no way to reach them or ask about it. On a Thursday. Is this really America and the first world? Highly frustrated dealing with this company. I called after the postal service after waiting on the phone for 50 minutes and the lady on the phone told me that my package would be delivered the next day. I received nothing not even a notice and I am still waiting for my package from amazon to be delivered. Wait times on the phone is just ridiculous no one wants to wait on the phone for an hour just to talk to someone that doesnt know what they are talking about. This service is an inconvenience. Makes me want to pull my hair out.

This post office needs a ticket number machine when you enter so you dont have to stand in a cattle line but can get the labels etc for shipping you need that are all inside the main office and start filling your Priority and Overnight labels out at the shipping station and not lose your place in the queue.. Denver sub-stations post offices have them... why not Idaho?Lastly, there is one rude male postal worker at this office that needs to be replaced.

Usually have a good experience but not today. Clerk was rude to my kids (yelled so loud the whole room went quiet) to the point of making my 7 year old cry and never want to go to the post office again. I understand everyone has there bad days, but loosing self control to my little kids was not ok. My 4 year old was pulling on one of there attached pens, but he should have pointed it out to me or kindly asked him to stop. I was busy filling out customs forms. His coworker apologized to me for it and gave my kids stickers, he was very nice. My daughter learned a hard lesson today that people can be mean, but we can only control our own actions.

Very Slow service/staff. Waited in line for 35 mins with only 5 people ahead of me. The counter person was very slow and what appeared to be common job duties. Listening to him repeat himself etc was torturous as well all looked at eachother in line sharing the same thoughts.. It is very doubtful the mailman bothered coming to my door for a certified letter considering I was home all day. I think the residential/community mailbox systems are the laziest idea ever.

My father sends us fruit for christmas every year & the postman always leaves it on our front step. This year, we got a sorry we missed you slip, which is odd because our shipment doesnt require a signature & I was home ALL day waiting for the package. I went to post office to pick up a few days later & was told it was out again for delivery. Never got the package & never got another slip. I then accessed the website to have it redelivered on a specific day. It is now a week later & the package is still not here & $75 in fruit.is probably sitting on their counter, rotten. There is a man that works here (slender, glasses, and black, thinning hair) that is the most rude person. This is not my first experience with this guy and every time I walk away feeling sorry for him. He must have such an awful life to be this rude to people. First clue should have been that a lady in front of me was having an issue with him and after she left he made rude faces mocking her. I was there checking to see if extra invitations I was sending were okay to be mail and when I found out they were okay I was going to put 4 stamps on them and leave. He barked Do you have more than one? I said yes and as I started to explain he talked over me Move aside maam. What? The time it took him to say that I wouldve had my stamps on. Charged a redelivery fee for a package they delivered to the wrong address. Yes, they were the ones who screwed up, and they charged us a fee to correct it. Refused to look up the case number for the package (which we got when we reported the missing item), claiming we should have bought insurance for the item if we were that concerned about receiving the package. Judging by the reviews there appear to be some serious issues going on at the Meridian Post Office.I had a two-day package due on Thursday, but due to it being sent Heyburn, Idaho, by the Boise PO - not Meridian POs fault this one - they didnt receive it until 1:30 am today, Saturday. Yup, Christmas eve.Youd think the Meridian PO would put it out for delivery within a few hours but no, they shipped it off to the Homedale, Idaho, PO instead! I called that post office and confirmed that it was indeed there, and had my correct Meridian zip code.Were now looking at Tuesday delivery for an important Christmas package. Disgraceful considering it was sitting in the Meridian post office just a few hours ago.I note that theyve removed their local number from the Google listing - probably due to the complaints - and now direct everyone to the Post Offices national 800 number which will get you nowhere.

The elderly white woman -- she has a grey ponytail or bun-type hairstyle -- should have been fired long ago, as any other business in our community would have done.
