We had a pre-sale home inspection, during which a small shower drain leak was discovered. I was referred to Paul Davis and they had a technician out to my house in less than 24 hours. Thankfully, no mold was discovered - just some water staining. The area was cleaned and treated anyway, just to be safe. Joe was prompt, professional, thorough and courteous....cant ask for much more than that. I would use them again without hesitation.

Parents house used Paul Davis and for the last 18 months they have been giving them excuse after excuse on why they won’t replace the floors. Paul Davis project manager has lied about replacing the flooringUsed two colors of paint on the walls and haven’t acknowledged it.Scratched and discolored our epoxied garage flooring and claim they put down plastic but did not.They threw our furniture into a POD and scratched and dented multiple furniture pieces.Put everything back in the house in the wrong rooms.Lost items when cleaning them from our flood damage. CDidn’t hang up any pictures or items on the wall.Said house would be put back together as if nothing happened.Promises have been broken repeatedly.Steer clear. You’ve been warned.

He and his partner worked HARD to get the remediation work done so fast so we could get on to the next step. I appreciated that after each day of work, the space was very clean and tidy, with everything put away so my kiddos didn’t get into anything. Hopefully we never have to use Paul Davis’ services again (flooding is NOT fun) but if we do, I know we will be in good hands.

The Paul Davis team was amazing!! Minutes after our Insurance Company called them we received a phone call, which was after hours on the weekend, and scheduled a time to come out and start working on the remediation. The remediation team member Rob was always available and help us understand the next process. His supervisor Joseph even came to our house to check in on the progress. When it came time to get an estimate from the Insurance company Ben Davis, from the remodeling side of the company, worked direct with the Insurance company so they understood exactly what the scope of the work. Think twice before buying a refrigerator with running water. A slow leak for weeks destroyed my lovely wood floor and the subfloor beneath it, leading to a complete restoration of four contiguous rooms. My insurance company sent Paul Davis Restoration my way and I was well taken care of for months. I packed. They packed. I chose new materials. This team is AMAZING!We had a flood and it was such that we were completely verwhelmed. They walked me through the process and even have gone above and beyond by covering shortcomings left by another company so that I can survive this and focus on getting tasks done. Seriously, AMAZING!

Joe and Reed of Paul Davis inspected my crawl space for water damage for a potential insurance claim. Luckily my damage was not significant so no need for a claim. Joe and Reed were professional, knowledgeable, polite and kind. They sprayed a bit of anti-microbial to ease our minds about mildew, etc. They made the water leak experience less stressful. I would absolutely use them in the future should the need arise.

What a nightmare situation we had in our home. Water flood due to a cracked water line off a faucet. The local Paul Davis team (Jeremy, Reid, Dave, and Joseph) have been exceptional in all areas. I didnt know what to expect but these folks have really made the water mitigation process much more tolerable.Im looking forward to the repair to be done over the next few weeks ago my house can be brought back to normal.

We had a small leak that turned into a big problem. One call and Paul Davis was quickly at our house. They were thorough, explained things well, clean, and professional. Our insurance has been a little bit annoying to work with, but Paul Davis has been patient and handled the bulk of it. I would definitely work with them again, if we ever need it.

Paul Davis provided excellent service from start to finish. They were on site within 2 hours of the incident and got right to work. They were very professional throughout the entire process and worked around OUR busy schedule. Highly recommended!!!

If you endure a house fire, do not use this company. They will visit your home, take photos and measure room. Then they will leave your house without so much as giving you a fan to clear out the terrible fire smell. Then, three and one-half days later, they will send out two workers, one with a sling on his arm, to clean fire damaged room and the adjoining rooms. You will end up cleaning the adjoining rooms affected by soot YOURSELF, after the workers did a very substandard job of cleaning the adjoining rooms. I had a very stressful experience in using Paul Davis Restoration at a time when I greatly needed help. Paul Davis Restoration only added stress to an already stressful situation. Interesting that PDR only responds to positive Google reviews. Also, if you read through the reviews you will see that the owner, Garrett Meikle, wrote a positive review himself to boost the Google score.

Terrible customer service. Always failed to meet promised appointments. When called, they had no records or memory of appointments. Left dangerous conditions untouched and incomplete. Failed to mitigate hazards. Failed to return calls or answer calls.

Not the type of company I would use. Ethics are next to none. Very disappointing. Perhaps the Idaho Falls office is different. But the Meridian one is unorganized and lacks follow through and training promised by management

I recently attended a continuing education class at Paul Davis Restoration that was very informative. I learned so much about structural drying and the process that they use. To see their tools of the trade and to learn why they use the brands they use was so helpful in understanding what they do. It helps me to help my customer and to be able to speak with knowledge when helping them determine what they need to do next if faced with a water claim.

Horrible service! Our house flooded and our insurance company sent them out. 2 months into things I had to call my insurance company to see what was going on because nobody had been in contact with me for almost 3 weeks. My insurance company thought the job was done. They finally showed back up and finished their job. Didnt bother cleaning up their garbage or anything. Left Staples in my walls and ceiling from them stapling their plastic up....never use them or recommend them

We had a water damage claim submitted through our homeowners insurance and Paul Davis in Meridian, ID was contracted to do the water mitigation. I wish I could remember the techs name that came out; he was great. He came out three days in a row to check equipment and was very courteous and communicated very well. They were able to dry out the flooring in three days and cleaned up everything afterwards. A perfect experience for this type of work.

This company does not play fair. I will never do business with them again. When I first called and asked what it would cost to have their service guy come out and take a look at some water damage I was told it would be a $75 fee. I decided to go ahead with the service. The gentlemen came out and took a look at the damage and took some measurements of the surrounding area. There was no additional water mitigation or drying performed whatsoever. When I received the bill it was for $200+. I flipped out and called and asked them why they are charging me $200 instead of the $75 I was quoted. The assistant manager said it was due to the insurance call that was made before working hours. I had called in the afternoon and the gentleman showed up the following morning around 10:00. Not sure what this emergency stuff is all about. Anyway, there was nothing done but some moisture measurements and I am being threatened with a lean on my house and a law suit. I just want to pay what this whole thing is truly worth, that for which I was given an estimate of $75. DONT CALL PAUL, he is obviously going to charge you more than is necessary and fair.

I am so disappointed with this company. September 27th they came out to work on our bathroom. We had a shower leak and some water damage had taken place. They had commercial fans running in our home for three weeks; instead of removing the tile that needed to be removed anyways they preceded to run the fans with the tile still down knowing that it was not drying any of the flooring. Finally after the drying process we were assigned a project manager for the restoration and replacement. Everything was going smoothly, and then I lost all contact with the project manager. We had picked out all the tile, and trim, and then no communication what so ever. After a week I got a call from another project manager who said he was taking over our bathroom project. I had to go back to the tile stores and show him all the tile and trim we had picked out, he then said he would get back to me with an estimate to submit to our insurance company. Two or more weeks later and he still had not back with me. I called the main office and talked to a manager who thought the holdup was because I had not made up my mind on the tile selection when in fact I had picked out the tile A MONTH prior. Finally the tile was ordered and installed; the tile guy that was used did the BEST job!!! I would recommend him 100%! We are SO very pleased with his work. Now that the tile has been installed we are at another stand still and no communication. January 27th will be 4 MONTHS into this project which should have been completed in two or three weeks!! For 4 MONTHS we have been without our bathroom. The shower installation guy was suppose to come out last week, however due to an injury it looks like he can’t make it for a few more days. I find it hard to believe that with a big of a company as Paul Davis they only have 1 shower installer in the entire Treasure Valley. I understand that the company has to take care of their contractors first; however we have been GREATLY taken advantage of. I very much regret going with this company and advise anyone who wants to get their project done within a REASONALBE about of time to GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY!!!
