I’ve used Murf’s Appliance Repair for years. He is reliable, friendly and priced very fairly. I appreciate the fact he is candid in telling me if something is worth fixing or getting something new. My washing machine was being all kinds of difficult. First, the filter clogged, no problem - cleaned the filter. Then the temp sensor went out, thats a pretty easy fix, Amazon and 15 minutes of work. No problem. Then, it started leaking. That was beyond my, admittedly meager, washing machine fixing capabilities. Murf took a look at it, diagnosed it, got the part and went at the next week. He was really clear with the timeline and responsive through calls or texts. Appreciated that. When the time came to fix it, he ran into an unforseen issue. Poor guy spent hours working on that thing with no AC because Im also waiting for my compressor to come in and get fixed for my upstairs ac unit. Thats a different review. But, working conditions were Im sure pretty miserable. Still got after it and spent hours working on it. Eventually he had to call it a day and come back. He was really upfront about it and went through everything with me and just wasnt willing to give up on it just yet. Which Im pretty thankful for since Im going out of pocket for that damn ac unit rn too. Came back the next day and figured it out, washing machine is fixed for a reasonable price and I couldnt be happier! Good as his word and he knows his stuff. Thanks so much Murf! Wouldnt hesitate to use him again!

Wow!!! I had Murfs come out when our dryer stopped. Murf the owner showed up and what a professional. He was great to deal with and explained everything. I had told him that if it was past a certain dollar amount not to worry. He advised it was well under that and that he could have it fixed in no time. He came back the following Monday and within an hour he was done. He also gave me tips on my washer and fridge to make them last longer. I would recommend Murfs to anyone. Great service and great owner.

Moved into a new home and the dryer wasnt working properly. Called murf on Saturday, left a message and he promptly called me back. He was able to come out on Saturday, which was great. Normally doesnt offer service on Saturday but made an exception, greatly appreciated. He was professional, and fixed our dryer super quick. Overall was a great experience and highly recommended.

It is never convenient for your refrigerator to break down especially when you have a fridge full of food and a family holiday dinner expected for the next day, not to mention trying to find a repair man on Sunday also was a challengingbut Murf’s appliance repair was there within four hours with a review and a professional estimate.We ended up avoiding future issues and purchased a new “white” refrigerator which is what I’ve always wanted. I have had the same washer and dryer for 17 years! I’ve used Murf to help me keep them. He is quick to respond and efficient in his work. His knowledge of the industry is educational, to say the least. He can speak to my old models and to the models of today. He is fair and honest...always! I unfortunately have to put my dryer down now...but he could’ve taken me for a ride on it!! Very lucky to have found Murf.

This is the second time Murf has come out to see me. The first time he fixed my ice maker and my washer timer. My appliance are over 15 years old and today I overloaded my washer and really broke it badly. I called Murf not expecting him to come out late on Saturday but he called me back and informed me he was on his way. Once again he fixed it on the spot. I am an older single women and he is the first company that has not taken advantage of me and has been up front from the beginning. I will definitely call him back if I need him to fix anything else. Merf is honest, trustworthy and fair. We had him out to repair our main refrigerator last fall and have had him out twice since then for other appliances. I would recommend him to family and friends

When our washer broke, we needed someone right away and Murf made a point to come out on Friday afternoon. He was able to give us an exact price and was back Monday morning as promised to fix the issue. He was quick, responsive and friendly. Will be calling Murf again if we have any future issues.

The company personally knows me when I call. They all ready know all the issues related to your machine from the past. They fully explain how to avoid the situation in the future or to minimize it.

My dryer broke on a Friday evening and was repaid by Saturday morning! Wow! I had a wonderful experience. Murf was very courteous. I called and the owner Murf was out within an hour. He diagnosed the problem on Thursday, and ordered the part. He came out after 5pm on Friday afternoon to make sure I wasnt down without a fridge over the weekend. He went above and beyond to get me back up and running. I would highly recommend this company.

Best service I have ever had with any company! Mr. Murphy came out first thing this morning and fixed our dryer in less than 45 minutes, and very affordable !! He was honest and told us whether or not it would be worth a repair or not. He’s super friendly and such a genuine guy. We now have a forever appliance repair man! Thanks !

Murf gets the job done quick and efficiently. That’s really about the only thing I can say positive. His motto is “One Fix, That’s It”. His motto should be “Two Trips, & A Trick”. He overcharged us an insane amount. I was charged the amount of $280 to fix our appliance when the part to fix it was only $20. Definitely would recommend any other appliance business. Had another appliance guy come out for a similar issue and I was told I shouldn’t have been charged more than $80 for the service and parts. I was also told by that Murf “rips people off” all the time. I asked Murf if he could look at another appliance in our house that needed fixed once he finished and he completely blew it off. Once the job was done and he got his $$$, I asked if he could try fixing another appliance in our house that wasn’t working and I thoroughly explained what seemed to be wrong with it. Once he got the cash, he didn’t seem to be listening or even slightly interested at all and replied “I’m short on time and I would have to charge you anyways, just go ahead and flip the breaker” than walked out the front door. He should be given a license to steal.

Murf came out and had my fridge diagnosed in just a couple of minutes. We had to let it defrost to verify the problem. He came back after it thawed out and was right. He had the part with him and had it fixed in no time at all. He was professional and courteous He explained the costs up front. I am glad that he talked me out of just buying another fridge from craigslist. My only complaint was that he as a little late. All in all I am pleased with the outcome.

I was doing laundry on a Saturday afternoon in preparation for leaving on a trip the following week, when my washing machine stopped mid cycle. Murf was in the area on a scheduled repair and offered to come by when he was finished. He found the problem immediately. He didnt have the part to fix it with him, but came back first thing Monday to finish the job before I left on my trip. I was impressed to get this type of response on a Saturday afternoon, especially without an appointment. Murf was knowledgeable, friendly and true to his word. I will DEFINITELY call Murfs Appliance repair next time I need help.

I called Murf Friday afternoon to ask him about sounds that my refrigerator was making. He called me back later that even and he actually came out to my house on a Sunday afternoon (which he says he doesnt normally work weekends, so I was pleased.). The noise was the compressor and supposedly those are very expensive to repair ($700+) and you are better off purchasing a new/different refrigerator. He said he thought the something inside the compressor had come loose and was contributing to the noise problem. He managed to do something to brace the compressor and quiet it down quite a bit, but recommended keeping my eye out for a new used one on craigs list (since I cant afford new right now). He even gave me some pointers on what to look for. He was very professional.

I called Murf and he was kind enough to talk me out of service call. Murf spoke with me about the options available for fixing my mini fridge and said my money was better spent on buying another used one or even a new fridge as the service call would cost half the price of a new fridge. Thanks Murf.
