These Sears folks brought a drunkard or drug user to my house. The technician spent 16 minutes at my house and without touching, opening, checking or putting the washing machine into use, he told me that it would cost me $ 1,200 to fix it. He also told me that I had been lucky to use my washing machine for 5 years that I had to buy another. They charged me $ 95.00 for 16 minutes of service. Then I called to request the money or another technician and they told me that they could not return the money and if I wanted another technician I had to pay again. I will never ever use them.
The 9 hour window (8am to 5 pm) for service is ridicules. People have to take a full day off from work for Sears Home service.The technician was great, very friendly and knowledgeable.
Do not use SEARS for your repairs! It took them 2wks to get someone out to look at my dryer. He didnt have one of the parts so he ordered it. Fine. They charged me for parts and service call. The part he didnt have arrived, but they insisted I was suppose to get two parts not one, the other one was just a belt which they said he ordered...but he didnt aparentely. They we had an extra belt so please send him out. They refused to. Now Im going on 6 wks no dryer! I ended up calling someone local who came out next day and repaired the dryer. Sears said they would send me a return label so I could get a refund for the parts, $70 which the new repair guy said they charge me more than double for the parts! Go local, never again will I call Sears or buy an appliance from them.
The repairman was courteous and friendly. He explained what he was doing and he did an excellent job for us. He was also very neat and left nothing to be cleaned up.
Horrible service for paying customers. My Kenmore refrigerator broke over the weekend and I called and was scheduled for a service appointment on Monday and even received a confirmation text of such. My husband then called the Kenmore number the next day to find out what was still under warranty and was only told then that no technician had picked up our service ticket so NO ONE was going to come to our appointment the next day. We NEVER received any notice or apology for this error or cancellation. We were then told the earliest available appointment was not until Wednesday. I am currently 8 months pregnant and we also have a toddler at home and do not have a working fridge. It is UNACCEPTABLE that Sears does not keep or honor scheduled service appointments and even worse, DOES NOT COMMUNICATE with customers when they arbitrarily cancel appointments. We made arrangements to be available for a 4 hour block for the technician on Monday and now have to rework family schedules to change this to Wednesday. After explaining their error to the customer service team, we were told that it was a system error and nothing could be done. How can I now have faith that anyone will show up on Wednesday? I will make sure to never purchase Sears products again as this is the way they treat their customers. I will also be very vocal with family and friends and urge them to use their purchasing power to speak out against such disrespectful customer service.

It took four weeks to get the first technician to my home . he diagnosed a bad head gasket and told me not to use the machine because if something broke it would be off warranty and on me. it took nearly four weeks to get a technician out again. two came out and one over ruled the other and basically said it was only a loose bolt on a valve cover . now i know i saw oil coming out of the muffler. the lead technician said simply that he sees no sign of what I described and could not in good conscience do any further work.. if there was no problem why did the first technician condemn the gasket. I paid out over almost $400 to keep my lawn cut and was reimbursed $50 for my two months of trouble. By the way i paid out over $600 for this great 5 year warranty. I told the lead technician that I knew the valve cover gasket is a continuing problem but not the only oil related issue. he said to call service when it happens again. I said that will take another four weeks before I get some one out. .regarding the head gasket we will have to wait and see . the valve cover gasket will be a matter of weeks as it has be since I bought it. I ride around in a cloud of smoke because it drips onto the heat deflector shield for the exhaust. YOU BE JUDGE
My repair in called me before he came once there he was very nice and professional. He had to disassemble my tractor to installed the new belts and some other very important parts on the deck. I was very happy with his work, it wasnt an easy job replace all those parts. I will definitely recommend this service do any of my neighbors who need it.

The technician who came out to do annual maintenance and repair of my washer and dryer is the same gentleman who I have had for several years under my maintenance contract. He is always very knowledgeable and professional, identifying the problem and fixing it quickly. He is very neat and professional. The only issue I have and that is that weekend service is no longer offered to customers who are not private pay at the of service. Having to lose time from work in order to accommodate Sears only coming out Mon-Fri is bothersome to me. The service itself was excellent.
Nothing was done. Still have no air. It comes on and shuts off when it wants which is something I have never heard of. I have two small children who I am trying to keep comfortable in this house and it is impossible to do that when your central air unit doesnt work properly.
Our Sears home warranty service for our refrigerator was handled and completed to our satisfaction. It was done in a very timely and professional manner. We are very pleased with our service support.

I had to call them 2nd time for the annual maintenance after renewing my master protection this year and the person who showed up was very timely and explained things and got me to sign the paper work. I wish they send service men like him. The first time was very goofy, did not have any paper work except had a temperature monitor and said everything was working great and walked around the house.
The technicians were super nice and very professional. The part needed was immediately ordered and installed the following week.My only issue was with the online scheduling. There was a same day opening which I took only to receive a call that the spot was not available. The scheduling system probably needs an update.

Although my repair was rescheduled twice, when he arrived he repaired my fridge and freezer in a short period of time and everything works fine now.
Repair was done quickly. However, tech started to take Dryer apart to do a PM, then stopped because they said the Service Contract did not start till Jul 1, so they couldnt continue with the PM
Our grill had blown off the deck and tumbled out into the backyard. We were worried about it still being safe to use after how knocked around it had been. Our repairman called to confirm his time, but unfortunately got stuck in traffic and called again to apraise us of his new arrival time. When he got here he was friendly, knowledgable and worked quickly inspecting and making the necessary repairs to the grill. He tested it multiple times to make sure we’d have no issues with it. The diagnostic fee was 125. But since it didn’t take him long to do the work that was needed the additional labor fee was only 50 dollars. Far better then having to buy a new grill! We were very happy with the service.

In the past I have had generally good experiences with Sears. I have bought many appliances there, used Sears in the past to service them, and also had Sears install a new HVAC system when we bought our house.Recently though, I have had bad experience on top of bad experience. In early June I had a problem with my washing machine. The machine worked but made an extremely loud banging noise. I called Sears, set up an appointment and two repairmen came out. They diagnosed the problem, told me the cost and suggested I purchase a one year plan that would cover 10 appliances in the home and also save me 50% on the cost of this particular repair. I agreed.A week or so later the part arrived and the same men came back to complete the repair. They found that the new part was defective and needed to order again. However, they set the return appointment for over 2 weeks away, now leaving me with a washing machine that no longer worked. When I called Sears customer service to expedite, they told me they would do so, and I would have the part within the next two days. I wanted to set an appointment for them to return, but was told I could not until I physically had the part in hand. I specifically asked, when I get the part in 2 days, will I be able to set an appointment for the following day or the next and was told yes. When the part arrived and I called to schedule the appointment, I was told even after speaking to a supervisor that it didnt matter what the previous customer service rep had told me, they could not/would not reschedule the appointment . I had to wait until early July to finally have the washer fixed.Earlier this week, I scheduled an appointment for the vent fan over my range, as it has started making a unbearably loud grinding noise. When the service tech came out this morning, he told me that it needed a new blower motor but the fan was working and they dont repair something that isnt broken. (Even though the blower motor apparently needs to be replaced.) To add insult to this, he told me that because I recently signed up for the Annual Service Contract, Sears felt that this may have been a pre-existing condition.I am absolutely disgusted at Sears and will no longer be using their services or buying from them in the future.Andrew HarrisonMiddletown, CT
I am totally NOT Satisfied....This will be the 4th time someone has to come out to the house and work on my stove..... The sensor was replaced twice the board was replaced once...and I am still getting an F9 error on the stove. I have Holiday cooking and baking to do and I am totally discussed. Back when I bought the appliances for my house, I spent $5,374.00 for a new stove, fridge, DW, Microwave. I bought all the protection agreements and went to Sears because of the service but this is totally not acceptable.

Third technician finally diagnosed the real problem with the refrigerator which is the compressor. If this fixes the issue it will be a month that it has been down. The 8am - 5pm window for technician arrival is unacceptable. On all 3 occasions we had a technician scheduled, the arrived time was after 5pm. Had to stay home 9 hours 3 times!!
