The technicians were extremely professional and knowledgeable in regards to the repair needed for my Appliance. They help me to deal with my warranty company which was extremely helpful! I would completely recommend these folks for any appliance repairs!
The technician was great, on time, pleasant and very knowledgeable. The prices were outrageous. He was obviously on a directive to sell the warranty, because he said my bill would be $200 if I bought the warranty or $450 if I did not. Well the warranty is about $200/year and that didn’t make sense to me. And why would the party be more expensive if I don’t buy a warranty?!? I’d suggest going with a local person who would give you a more reasonable rate. (Note that I never buy warranties on electronics or appliances. My rationale is that if I bought a warrant for each item I would spend way more than if I had to buy one or two of those products again if they broke down).
Very good service and very nice Thank you for very good work
My family was without a microwave for 5 months while waiting for service. Multiple calls to the call center ended with no resolution and increased frustration. When the microwave was finally repaired the new door was dented.
I first started trying to make an appointment on Oct 4, 2020. It is now Jan 24, 2021 and I still have not have someone come out to service my boiler. I think I received this survey because I have made appointments no one has showed up. And Sears is not even aware that the service is not done.
Sears needs to hire more Technicians to service customers with repair needs. It takes forever to get a service call appointment for weeks on end. The service Technician that repaired my refrigerator worked steady and did a fine job, even though his personallity needs a littel fine tuning. My Kenmore Elite Refrigerator was “ ONLY” 1yr.and 10mo. old when the compresor stopped working. My advice is to stay away from this product !
This was a periodic check on my maintenance contract.
Sent me the wrong part 3 times and I gave them the serial number to my lawn mower.Enough of that!Time to try some place else!
Great price. Colin figured out what the issue was. He gave me a repair price. The unit works great. The price. stayed what was estimated. He cleaned up after himself. I would call them again.
Maintenance - on washer & dryer Very Good service
It would be a huge boost for Sears to have people at their call centers that are as professional, and as well-spoken as the Service Tech that repaired my appliance.
I was very impressed with the resent service I received by a Sears employee. He was on time, polite, informative, and experienced. My dryer was fixed on January 10 and I couldn’t be happier with the results!
This is what service should be!
I have never had such horrendous customer service in my 64 years. Do not let anyone from Sears Home Services ever sell you anything or come near your house. Our water heater (less than 5 years old) was leaking from the bottom. I called to verify it was under warranty and was told it was through October 2019. They needed to send a technician to verify the leak and it would cost me $89.00 (actually charged me $99.00). The window they gave for the technicians arrival was 8 am to 5 pm! My husband had to take off work with no pay to meet them. Mid-morning they called and cancelled! We set up for the next day (again 8 am to 5 pm) so this time I stayed home from work. The technician was disheveled and grumpy but managed to take pictures and verify the leak. Later that day the warranty department called me to say the tank wasnt under warranty. I explained that I was told it was and that was the only reason I had them out. The woman said that the person I spoke with didnt know what they were talking about, that she was the warranty department. I said that at a minimum, I want my $99.00 back. She gave me another number to call where I was passed from person to person for over an hour and no one could help me. Finally someone said that they left a message with the billing department and Id get a call or email within 3 days. I havent heard from anyone, but did get this request to fill out a survey. Sears, I know you are in trouble but if you cant do better, just close down!
The service was great...once it was completed. The only issue preventing a five-start review was that it took three weeks to scheduled someone to come out to fix my lawn mower, and in the meantime my grass did not stop growing and we had to buy a $250 push mower to get by with.
I got an appointment in one day after I called about my dryer. I was, (for a change), also told a specific time frame. The dryer required a part that had to be ordered. The part came in much quicker than expected and I was given an immediate appointment for the return repair. The repairman was excellent, explaining what had to be done and he made every effort to come back as soon as the part came in.
We had a repair done on our refrigerator. The repairman was very knowledgeable and friendly. The part that had to be ordered came quickly. The only thing that I didnt like about the experience was the notification of appointment process. We were supposed to be notified via text of the actual time frame - but that didnt happen. We had to keep going in and clicking on details to see the most current info. Dont advertise that if its not the case. Overall - great technician and good experience.
This review reflects on Sears and their logistical and scheduling system. The repairman was knowledgeable, competent and polite. However, when I called to make the appointment, I told Sears the model number and the error code on the dryer (F01). They actually already had us in their system. I got an appointment the next day and requested first thing in the morning. The service came around 1 pm and the repairman confirmed the model number and error code and said they dont carry the control board on the vehicle and ordered it. So I just wasted a Saturday when there was absolutely no point in this visit - no added value over the information Sears already had from the prior call. The appointment should NOT have been set until they had a part to deliver. A follow-up appointment wasnt available until 4 days later (Wed). The part was delivered to my house with 2 day shipping so it was expected to arrive on Tuesday, which it did, in the evening, which is typical. I received a notification on Tue from Sears to call them to confirm I had received the part, and to call until 8 pm CST. I called hours before that deadline once the part arrived and confirmed with the person on the phone that I received the part and the appointment was confirmed. I received a call the next morning to ask if I had the part; I told them I confirmed it the prior day. Since they lost all record of it, they said no appointment was available and changed it to Friday - a whole week since I reported the broken unit. When the repairman arrived on Friday, I told him what happened, and he mentioned that Sears scheduling had sent him home early Wed due to lack of work. This after I had even called Sears back and asked them to remedy the situation and find a way to schedule the appointment they had already confirmed on Wed. Furthermore, whenever I called back the automated line that had called me to confirm the appointments, it did not recognize my phone number - lets see - thats the same number they just used to call me. Overall, incompetent scheduling service, data systems that do not talk well together or synchronize information, slow response, long scheduling time windows - seriously - best you can do is offer an appointment between 8 am and 5 pm? I already took Wed off work to meet the repairman before they canceled on me, so I missed 2 days of work and was boxed in on a Saturday for the repair guy. Thats 3 appointments when only 1 was necessary.I cannot recommend Sears appliance repair.
The service technician was great, courteous, and knowledgeable. I have no complaints whatsoever about the technician. My issue is it took 18 DAYS to get an appointment once the problem was diagnosed. 18 DAYS to get the parts installed is outrageous. In the mean time we had to use the cleaners for our good dress shirts and blouses, and other outside sources to wash everything else. .
If I could put a multiple negative star I would. The technicians that have come to do the repairs have all been great, however the sears warranty and repair center is the worst company I have ever dealt with. After this contract is over I will never NEVER purchase an appliance or warranty with sears again. Our microwave has now been serviced 7-8 times since August 2016 and is still broken, they refuse to replace the microwave completely and keep ordering parts or refurbished parts and none fix the problem. I will never recommend this company to anyone and can not wait to be finished with them.
Eric was great! he knew answers to all my questions and then some.
I have experienced the worst customer service ever. 4 appointments with windows of 8a - 5p, rescheduled my appointments to accommodate and all 4 appointments were cancelled. No notice, no calls only no shows. I have gone elsewhere to have the dishwasher repaired and will never use or recommend Sear at Home Repair.
Didnt wear a mask, not friendly, already aid for other service repairman to diagnose problem. He was closing up back panels and I asked if he had cleaned the coils, he said no. I asked him to wait, got a vacuum and cleaned the coils-they were filthy.
I am happy with my kenmore washer/dryer. I have had several repairs that were covered under protection plan I purchased and have had good outcomes. I will mention that on TWO occurrences I experienced a NO CALL/NO SHOW. I feel this is DISRESPECTFUL. I understand people run late and may come outside the ALL DAY window, but to stay home all day to have someone not show or call is something that should not happen. When I called a number to check on where the assigned technician might be, I dont even think the person who answered the phone was in America.
First technician (not sure of his name) that arrived for a maintenance check on our refrigerator was mediocre. Rick is the individual who checked out our laundry appliances as well as our stove and dishwasher and he was exceptional! He provided a wealth of information regarding their care and use. The only complaint I have has to do with the pricing. I was emailed a special combo pack offer amount to have them all checked out for a certain fee; however, what was not disclosed was that if an appliance that was checked needed a repair the fee changed to a higher price and the combo pack price was no longer honored!! The labor and parts were to be added on which was expected if a repair was necessary but they would no longer honor the combo pack offer. The original service fee was then charged and I found this quite upsetting. This should have been disclosed specifically with offer that was advertised.
Your Email claims there was service provided to me on December 30th for my Samsung TV...There was NO SERVICE OR A TECHNICIAN here at all!!I am WAITING for the Service!
Clarence is one of the best service people that sears has. Much knowledge and a great attitude and personality. Hope he stays with Sears would be a massive lost if he left Sears.
Service tech was great...knew exactly what he was doing, was very efficient. Also was very helpful with giving me advice on what water filter system to install.
SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. REPRESENTATIVE WAS EFFICIENT, KNOWLEDGABLE AND COURTEOUS. WAS OUT OF SCHEDULED TIME PERIOD BECAUSE HE WAS HELD UP AT A PREVIOUS CLIENT.
This is my second repair with sears. My first was my dryer and while it took multiple weeks, parts and repairman, it did get fixed. It wasnt cheap, but my assumption is they are competitive, I havent tested that theory. This time it was the fridge. The repairman showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly and found the part locally. The quote was significantly higher than I expected, mainly in labor. I found I could get the same part online for a fraction of what they charged for it. It honestly felt like I was being taken advantage of, but with the 20% discount coupon from the website and my immediate need of refrigeration I afforded it.Bottom line, they were able to repair my appliances but they are expensive.
Repairman was due between 1 & 5Called at 4:30 running lateArrived approx 7pm. Fixed dryer.Man was very nice. Felt sorry he was working so late. Did a good job.
Pleasant young man, but did not solve the problem with the regridgerator.
The technician called me twice in advance to let me know when hed be there, along with providing information on the minimum charge. The work was done quickly and to my satisfaction.
The tech was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and quick. He had the parts installed and the washer working in no time. So far it seems to have solved the problem.
I made a request for repair on December 21, 2015. The repair was for a 14 month old leaking dishwasher, which had caused a 3ft by 6ft section of tile, laid 4 month after dishwasher installed, was damage. Two week after request a repairmen came out on December 30 and found there was no leak in the dishwasher and closed out the case. He stated to me that it would not leak, but if I would want I could place a piece of cardboard underneath it and take pictures. I ran it that night and the cardboard showed it did leak. I called the following morning and the next time a repairmen could come was Jan 15, 2016, 2 additional weeks or 4 weeks from initial call. The same repairmen showed up and said yes it does leak. He then ordered parts and said it would be 2 1/2 more weeks before a repairmen could come back to install new parts. After 6 1/2 weeks, the dishwasher was repaired on February 3; however, the 10 mo old tile floor that was damage from the leaking dishwasher is still being dealt with Sears property insurance division. 6 1/2 weeks for a repair seems excessive especially during the holidays when one uses their kitchen.
The repairman was efficient, quick and very good. We were back in business within a half hour!
Joe from A&E is always courteous and does a wonderful job, as well as gives us advice on taking care of our appliances.
You guys are the worst. Waiting 3 months now for our dishwasher repair. Your customer service is rude at best. Your tecs you send out have every excuse in the book as to why they cant repair our dishwasher that was on fire. I truely cant justify 1 star except i had to put it there to write this review.
My experience was awful! My wife, a teacher, took off from work/school to have our washing machine repaired. The technician came out and partially fixed my washing machine (got it running) for $79, then left. 5min later the machine stopped working as it had prior and I called the technician multiple times but no answer. I then called Sears who stated that I would be called back either later that evening or the next day and neither happened! I called Sears on Saturday morning and was informed that it showed I should have been allied but wasnt for whatever reason.. I restated that I have been without a washer for going on two weeks and that I need a repair man asap and how the last repair man didnt fix it.. I was told that the best they could do wastage following Thursday! I informed the man not to bother and that I will no longer be a customer of Sears and that I wanted my $79 repair charge reimbursed; the man stated that he could do that and then I received an email two days later saying that the $79 charge is a service fee charge that is nonrefundable regardless of the outcome!
Excellent service, fair price. Service man was the best!
The technician Mike was thorough in explaining what was going on with the washer, and explained the warranty options available.
The serviceman was on time, called ahead, done quickly. Very pleased.
Very happy with technicion--and he saved me some money
Service man was very knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. He took the time to explain things to us about our machine.
Excellent and professionally skilled and courteous with my repair to the dishwasher! Thank you!
Had issue with mower leaking oil, service man was out within 2 days and had machine fixed up and ready for service very quickly! Thank you again!
The gentleman was on time, respectful and explained what he did to corrected our problem. We are very happy with his work.
Service man was prompt, courteous, and was done quickly.
Everyone was on time and were able to solve the problem. Thankd
Very bad experience with my service recently. Technician left a mess after repairing my refregerator. When I asked him why he won’t clean up,he said it’s not their job. I would never buy or take any warranty from them.
Very good, quick and effective service.
You sent the wrong part - needed a seal for the freezer and you sent the seal for the upper sectionThe tech said that the freezer would ice up for about 2 months and then be ok. Never heard of that
This was the worst and most frustrating experience I have everhad with Sears.Three weeks t get a Dryer replaced caused inconvenience, stress, cost to go to the Laundromat, not getting straight answers. Not what I expected from Sears.Larry J. Theiss
Quick - timely - professional.
Technision did not complete PM work on freezer 😫
Our washer has been broke for 7 and 1/2 weeks, after 2 no call no shows ans sears sending us new dryer parts to fix our washing machine(?)two repairmen(who were nice and friendly)we are waiting for sears AGAIN because the pump they replaced is leaking.Looks like were heading for week 8 with no washer, thanks for the runaround and not caring about the customer at all!
Once the service man arrived the work was performed and my mower worked well. The only problem was that he did not arrive within the 4 hour window. We wasted the entire day for a short repair. I received an email that he was on his way AFTER the 4 hour window expired!
Very happy.
Parts had to be ordered, which were at my house within a few days. It took a week for the tech to come back and install. My wife says that the washer is still making the same sound.
He was very helpful.
Great job
