I have been coming here since 7 or 8 with my mother. When they moved locations everything became very rushed and unprofessional. I am not sure if they are getting tired of the service they provide or the people. But please stop rushing on painting and the price is constantly going up. I understand due to the pandemic things change but for regular polish and to still have skin on my nails it was not worth it. Ms. Tam was my go to person. However, she has become rude and the other people only rush. They are always nice but learn how to do nails properly if adding new people to the nail world. I have to find a new place after so many years🤦🏽‍♀️

This is the worst place I have ever been to in Memphis. I will never step foot in there business ever. I received a pedicure and my feel still had dead skin on them and my polish was slap on poorly. My daughter got fullest and her nail was very uneven and poorly put on and my fullest was also done poorly. I asked to speak with manager to get them done over but no manager was there at the time and I had to call the police. They refuse to give me my money back I did take pictures also so I can take them to small claims court. I repeat Megan’s Bails service was very poorly I do not recommend them at all.

They were quick and to the point but not really good at giving me the shape I wanted. I asked if someone could do a better job shaping my nails and a lady came and really did nothing to fix the shape. I said I wasnt satisfied, it was as if I wasnt speaking. However they were good with making sure they kept the place clean. They were also very polite.

Horrible! 4 different people worked on my nails. The quality is the worst I have ever experienced. Ever. My nail surface is not smooth. The lady next to me said her hands were numb from soaking in acetone for such a long period of time and no one even spoke to her the whole time my nails were being done. Just awful.

They finished my manicure in 7 minutes. They go way too fast. Some staff are rude. I have been many times and it has never been as bad as it was today.

Megan’s need to learn that the customer knows what they want and just bc you don’t like it, it’s not your choice. They rush you and expect you to accept their poor service. If people can come here and open businesses then they need to make it mandatory that they learn courtesy and the customer is always right.

They are ok but they rush you when they are busy and make you feel like you are being rushed when getting these kind of services should be a relaxing feeling . The one guy that does nails up in the front booths they are really good and the older guy is friendly when you finally do get to him to do your nails but they have so many booths going with Techs doing all the services it reminds me of a assembly line and its all about the money and production. They need to work on customer service also because with out clients they dont have a job

I was going here and loved the service at first. They started rushing and yelling out prices before I could even sit down. I stopped going for several not be but went back March 17, the worst mistake ever. My daughter asked for the French Manicure but she want the white to be thin not thick. Anna said she would do it but when more people started coming in, she sent another lady. This lady would not listen and kept saying put your hand under the dryer. We kept telling her we didn’t want the white that thick but she either couldn’t understand English or just wanted to do it how she wanted. I told Anna that’s not how we want it so now she says “oh, I didn’t charge you the right price, you owe $15 more dollars.” Of course I went off and my daughter left with unfinished nails. I paid $195 for 2 pedicures, a full set, and a overlay. UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE!!!

I mean by farthest the worst place I’ve been to was looking for something in the area to do my nails specifically asked if they knew how to do the set I showed them I don’t even know where to start supposedly the manager was doing my nails cause no one else know how to do I say total rip off of my money and my time .

The location is great, and the establishment is clean. The employees are friendly. My complaint is with the quality of service provided. I requested ombré dip powder nails, and the nail technician did not do a good job at all. She left me with chunky fat uneven nails, and the powder was not filed well around the cuticles which caused it to lift 2 days later. I will not be returning for acrylic or powder service.

I have known Megan since it was just her and her husband that work there she has built her business by Word of Mouth I think its a wonderful place to go is courteous theres a lot of friendly people the work is always good enough to the best standards I found place is clean and the people are friendly

Customer service is awful and they talk about u and refuse to give u wat u want... they never have shellac colors..they also get mad and over charge quality is also poor.. this is coming from a licensed beautician .. Go to Rose Nails they are a 100 times better

The lady owner who is the wife of the male owner is very rude to her customers. They act as if the customer doesn’t have a voice. Why are we paying so much for mediocre service? If I want a specific color that makes me difficult? If I want the foot bath ti not have dead scales and skin that makes me difficult. If I want the nail station to be cleaned especially during a pandemic that makes me difficult? No it makes me a reasonable customer. It makes your establishment difficult for putting a customer in such uncomfortable circumstances and then attacking them for speaking up. The nail technician/ manicurist are often rude and arrogant. A fight broke out in this place recently it was scary for me to be in there yet I was asked to leave just because I made a simple request. I did not feel safe here. Anytime you feel you are too big for a good customer to turn them away for having a voice I suggest you stop and look at who your customer base is. You’re not doing anyone any favors... In fact were the ones keeping your businesses afloat. Were keeping many of you employed. So never ever think you are too big to the point where you will mistreat a customer just because they want to receive good service and what they pay for. Attitudes and good character goes a long way. Don’t assume what your customers can or can’t pay. I always pay what is asked and I always tip generously even though its sad that the nail technicians aren’t likely getting their share. My toes were very uneven and I spent almost $200 in this place. My cuticles weren’t done well. If I can help it I will not be going back but sometimes they are all that is available on a busy weekend. When you start losing customers and begin to feel desperate remember your attitudes. Don’t think it could never happen... It can and it will if you all don’t get it together.

I asked for the shape and length from the picture with the purple. And came out with this. i asked the lady to fix the shape she said ok and just started to paint my nails. She rush and slop paint on my nails. I asked them to be repainted, she did but it still looks a mess. iI rarely get my nails done and thought I would treat myself for my birthday but all I did was waste my hard earned money.

I have been to this place several times. You have to know which specialist to use because alot of them do messy work on your nails. They can come off rude with the way they talk to you & they close early whenever they want. They closed over one hour early without any explanation. The website say 6pm Sunday. When I went a few minutes before 5pm, the man told me they usually close at 5:30pm Sundays but he is going to close 5pm today. I replied by saying you know its not 5pm yet. Its unprofessional to have your customers drive across town just to find out that you made a quick decision to close with no explanation.

I understand that you have to make money but $20.00 to add tips to your nails is a bit extreme. If you are fair with your prices you will always make money but when you price gouge you will only make money once. Especially with me.

I went on 11/ 15 to get shellac and a pedicureMy pedicure was just perfect but oh my shellac it seem like a pre-k did them. So I went back today, the lady go tell me she doesnt see anything wrong with my nail I told her you kidding me. Now Ive gotten them done over and they still look the same Megans Nails never again and also may I add they reuse those pedicure shoes. I saw that for my own eyes.

When I entered the shop. I showed two pictures of how I wanted my feet and hands. I was told that they could do it no problem. I also showed the woman who did my pedicure. She said that she could do it. However, when it came time to design my nails. They simply said. Oh we don’t have the kit for that. Mind you it was literally a glitter nail and a few sparkles on the big toe.Also my pedicure and manicure was rushed.I wasn’t allowed to soak my feet and they literally just had me dip my fingers in the bowl for the manicure. No soaking whatsoever.I get my nails and feet done not only to be cute but to relax. I hate to have my feet in the wet and literally two minutes later they’re pulling them out trying to work on them.Which brings me to my feet not being soft.I’m used to getting pedicures where your feet feel like butter when they’re finished. Don’t misunderstand me. My feet aren’t hard. They just don’t have that usual softness that I’m used to. I also noticed that they didn’t wipe down the seats or spray any disinfectant between customers. The girl also stepped on my big toe and then accused me of bumping my toe.Other than that they were friendly enough.I won’t be returning, can’t wait til my usual shop has an available appointment.

Normally, they do my nails pretty well. However, yesterday, I came around 2 pm. This is when everyone gets off for work or school. They began to start on my nails, then leave to go to someone else. They rushed and now my nails are lumpy.

Excellent on in grown toe nails and the eyebrow was was on point.

Usually quick to the chair. Covid friendly. I drive from Arkansas to their shop. Nails were not over drilled. Nails were polished well to the cuticle. I should get 2 weeks out of it. Nails cut even filled in and buffed well. I respect diff cultures. The constant foreign language talk is unprofessional. Its like employees huddling constantly talking joking laughing. Should be more professional there

This is the only place I prefer to have my nails done. That look so natural. The new place is clean and inviting. They talk to you with respect. Please try them out if you are in the area of Poplar and Highland. 💅the prices are reasonable also.

Went there this past Monday with my husband so we both could get a pedicure I was also getting my nails done. I went in and asked did they do men feet and the lil short guy said yes and he took my temp before allowing me in which was cool. So I told him my husband was in the car let me get him. So my husband is 62 and and big guy. Im also a plus size woman. But when my husband came in he refused to service him saying he was too overweight. So we left. Never had that problem at any other nail shop anywhere. So I post this to say if you are a overweight person you may not be serviced here.

Everyone is very nice. I always get good quality nails done here. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because not everyone in the salon can file the nails correctly. I always get stiletto shaped nails but they file it to where it’s not sharp at the tips like I like it. Other than that. They’re great.

I initially loved the service and my nails. But the morning after getting them done, I awoke to a broken nail. I noticed the nail was filed down so far that it was basically non-existing. I had planned to call them the next business day, because they were closed. So, maybe 30 later I got in the shower and after I got out another broke as I was applying lotion. Noticed the same issue with that nail. By the fourth day, only two nails survived. I went in the nail salon to get it corrected and I was told that they could correct THEIR mistakes for a discounted price of $20!!... So, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!...

Ive been going to Megan off and on since I was in the 8th grade and Im 36 now. She cold with shaping, polishing, and applying product but she move too fast and do what she thinks looks best. We have a love hate relationship but shes good

I was referred to Megans Nails by a friend that was a client for a long time. My friend stopped going to Megans Nails because of Megans rudeness. I continued to go to Megans Nails because Id received good service. Along the way I did notice Megans harshness toward her employees and some clients. The quick in and out dont speak English well nails shops have monopolized the industry. Most of them talk loudly, pointing, laughing the whole time. Its really not as relaxing as it should be and the prices consistently differ from whats posted or not posted. My last experience was when Megan insisted against my intial request to remove my shellac nails with a tip instead of soaking them off like Id asked upon entering the nail shop. The result was a hole in my nail surface which extended into my flesh. Megan is very rude and pushy and doesnt listen and when Megans Nails has messed up she offers no remorseful apology. Megan still expects to be paid and most times more than whats posted. Im currently searching for a nail shop that can speak to me, understand me, doesnt ignore what they do understand. A nail shop that offers good service at a good fair price where I can relax while the service is being performed. Im so very disappointed because the nails look good but the negatives arent worth me continuously giving them my money. One Saturday night she was so loud arguing with an employee about a dollar from her pay that I was concerned deeply about how it would end. Its time for me to move on.

They are pretty nice but when it came to getting my acrylic done i wasn’t impressed they seem like they were rushing. The shape isn’t great either, pretty sloppy actually. But they do have good customer service and do well with pedicures. I recommend checking out other nail places like elite nails that focuses on shape and polishing.

Love this place. They are fast. They use these wonderful hot rocks on your legs and feet.

I always come here and I normally have an ok visit but this time my technician clipped my toenail uneven and said that it was my fault because of my toenail but that was not the case. Will ask for someone else next time....IF I RETURN

Horrible, horrible, horrible ... I went to Megan’s Nails on Sunday 6/24/19. There were towels everywhere. Filthy pedicures bowls and the staff looked as if they were tired and was working like slaves to keep up the amount of customers. Awful experience this nail salon is the worst at customer service and does not value customers time. If I were you, i just go to the nail salon down the street. I only went to get a pedicure and the nail lady just rolled insults between her and the other nail person in their native language. I am disappointed and dissatisfied! Memphis you deserve better an nail experience than this.

They don’t go according to order they go by what the feel like doing. I was there for 20mins and was skipped 4times because they were doing pedicures instead of regular nail polish. I will not be back‼️
