I had Jada and omg she was so sweet. She made me feel comfortable and told me everything she was doing. She talked to me and didn’t snatch until I was ready. I definitely will be going back!!

This was my first time here and I had a good experience. First impression was the interior was cute. The woman at the front desk was nice also. My esthetician Kay was quick, professional, and conversational when I started talking to distract myself. She was also training a new team member who was also very professional. Kay does my Brazilian. I love her. She is quick and efficient! I never have an trouble scheduling at the last minute (Im always on call so I cant plan too far in advance). Everyone there is so nice and they keep the place clean and smelling good. There are places closer to me but I drive here!😁

Ive been coming to the Wax Bar for 2 years now & I must say I love it. Nishira is always friendly & has a great staff. The new location is gorgeous! It feels like a womans sanctuary. I always chose the pretty kitty special whenever I go. It includes the Brazilian wax & vajacial! Very well worth it & it lasts so long. Bottom line, I highly recommend this place.

The girl did a good job with my wax but she was late and waited until after the service was done and charged me $12 for some numbing spray. They were very unprofessional! NEVER AGAIN

From beginning to end, I received the most friendly, professional service ever. From Lexus at the front desk answering any questions that I had and assisting in booking my next appointment to the expertise received with Jessica when she did my Signature Facial. They are amazing and have definitely just received a regular. My skin feels and looks amazing and Jessica was so knowledgeable about the upkeep of healthy skin between treatments. The Wax Bar Memphis is well worth indulging in. I can’t wait until my next appointment!

I have scheduled an appointment on 2/12 for 3/3 wax. On 2/28 I canceled due to circumstances out of my control. They took my money out on (the day I made my appointment 2/12) but did not refund it back to me. I contacted them & I was told they have a no refund policy UNLESS it was something out of ur control. My situation was out of my control. They continued to tell me they have no refund policy. On the website there’s a cancellation policy, but they do not have a no refund policy. I ask where can I find their “no refund policy” I got no answer to that question & they again told me no refunds. Luckily I was told by my sister to screenshot their policy & so I did. TODAY I found out they put a “no refund” on their “cancellation” section. I have screenshot of both before and after. I have agreed to the terms BEFORE they changed it after my complaint. They have not refund my money. I have followed their terms BEFORE they changed it. I do not want to reschedule, I want my money back. Again I paid w/ my card 2/12 & they took my money out 2/12. My appointment was 3/3 & I canceled 2/28. It’s a struggle to get my money back.

I have had some kind of experience with this place lol! Make a long story short, you cant punish a business based on one experience with an employee! I had a horrible experience with the person I booked with and it was my first time! However I will say this, when I returned(because I paid for a service that I was not able to receive at that particular time), that young lady did not work there anymore. Management was very professional about the mix up because that young lady didnt even reschedule my appointment. The new young lady that did my wax was the best yall! She knew exactly what she was doing! Got me smooth as a babies bottom! Even though nobody talks about the pain you will endure your first couple of times, let me tell you.... NOTHING can prepare you for the pain of snatching your follicles out of your personal area! However Im going back! O... I got the pretty kitty special! Its $120 and worth every penny in my opinion!

First and foremost .. GO TO KAYLNN !! I have NEVER had a Brazilian experience that was PAINLESS !! She took her time, was professional,& made me feel comfortable ! She didn’t just lay and rip, she prepared me for every pull, but she was so gentle that that part was just a formality.NEXTTTTTT...I also received a “booty” facial ( the name is much fancier, but I don’t feel like misspelling or searching for it ) .. no lies, I almost went to sleep on the table because it was so relaxing.10/10 ... will be back... will ONLY go to KAYLYNN

I had the most WONDERFUL experience here. First wax that was not EXTREMELY painful. Nishira explained each service before she began so I would know exactly what I was getting. She asked about me about myself since I was a new customer and this started a conservation that lasted the entire time. She even gave me a cute joke to use on my husband, lol. I will definitely be back and will recommend her services to others. 5 ⭐️ s for sure!!

This place is the best, from customer service to processes to quality of services. Booking is easy AND SO IS RESCHEDULING (nod to a recent review). Their policies are clearly stated upfront - just dont wait until the last minute to say you cant show up. They have specials for first time waxes, different types of wax for different skin sensitivities, a range of skin care products, and a knowledgeable staff to help you with any questions you might have. They even came and did a brow class for a group of my students. I personally only book with Nishira for all my waxing, but all the ladies in the shop come highly recommended. 10/10 - definitely recommend.

I am not the type to post on here, but I really didn’t feel welcomed at all by this business. I understand a cancellation policy because time is money, but every situation, especially for new customers, is different. I was so excited for my first appointment and scheduled it the wrong day, an honest mistake. I was charged for the entire appointment. I called up there multiple times and was never rude or disrespectful. I felt like I pleaded on the phone to even reschedule the appointment for the cancellation price I paid. I asked to speak with the owner and never got to her. 87.00 I spent for no services rendered to me. I’m not gonna knock their work cause they clearly do good work, but as far as business practices and customer service, they don’t even deserve a star honestly.

They are very unprofessional. During these troubling times one would hope that businesses would be more understanding of canceling appointments. I get waxed here by Brea. Absolutely amazing place. The environment is very nice and relaxed. The body scrubs are one of a kind. I’ve bought them as gifts and my friends love it. Overall a great place. They get you in and out with no problem ! Definitely my favorite waxing place in Memphis.

Retaining customers that would remain loyal or try to gauge them with unreasonable demands is a key question for her to consider. If i could rate them a zero star i would. horrible customer service. the owner of this company is extremely unprofessional and rude. her policy for 12 hour cancellation and rescheduling is retarded especially when it comes to same day booking. i would not recommend for younger girls nor first timers. my first time and first experience with them was so horrible i wouldn’t try them out again nor recommend to a friend. anyone who brags about taking money from you deserves nothing for me. go at ur own risk just make sure if you book same day, nothing misfortunate happens or you’ll be out $44 even if you call! in my case twice!

I witnessed an employee of this location ask someone on social media to meet her at work to FIGHT! Of all places, you want to invite that kind of drama and unknown danger to your JOB. I would NEVER risk going here! Its sad that this is an actual occurrence that is condoned by a group of WOMEN! And it only contributes to the stereotype of the typical Black Memphis female. Pathetic.

This place is truly a hidden gem. This place is so neat and clean. This was my first time ever getting a wax job on my body. I was so nervous of the pain at first, after talking with the Tech I was at ease. Here it has been entire month, my hair is just now starting to grow back on my arms and legs. When I was using Veet hair remover, my hair would grow back in 3 weeks. However, first time ever getting a partial Brazilian Wax.. which did hurt a little bit. (no cap) lol... But the After Results.... babyyyyyyyyyyy... it was all worth it!!!!!!!! In fact, I am still bald down there. Yessssssssss...I must say I will be definitely be back for another visit. The Wax Bar Memphis is where it is at..... I promise you will not be disappointed.Big Facts!!!!!!
