I didnt have to look for long when I was looking somewhere to move. I applied that Saturday and Ms. Bishop emailed me that Monday about the walkthrough that Tuesday 2 weeks later I was moving in. My mobile doorman isnt working Ms. Bishop made sure all my issues were handled. Ms. Bishop is on her job making residents feel at home. I give the whole staff 5 stars.

Moved 1000 miles to Memphis. The Nova, especially Ms. Devette Bishop made the process seamless. She stayed in constant contact with my wife and I for over 2 months on the status of our unit and to offer any assistance I may have required. Once my move in was completed I was happily surprised with the services and amenities included and the continued personal assistance from Ms. Bishop and the entire staff. WOW!!!!

Ive had a great experience so far. The leasing agent was nice. The apartments are well kept and my apartment is home to me now. I am very excited.

Moved to the nova the fourth of July weekend. I was satisfied with my apartment everything was new in my apartment and clean. Ms Devette was nice & helped me with everything. I give this property 5 stars!

I had nothing but a great experience with the process of moving into the nova. Ms. Devette Bishop was extremely tentative to all of my questions & provided wonderful service as well as the rest of the staff. The apartments are very well kept & in a nice area.

Do Not Move in here it is a trap. Everything seems fine when you first move in, but you don’t get a full closet, don’t get a full kitchen, it is way smaller than advertised. The parking is terrible. They upped our rent $300 the day that it was due with no warning. Poor communication with management you have to call 15 times to get a response and they always have an attitude. Almost $1000 total for 1br 515sqft rent when the area is not that nice you can stay in better parts of Memphis with cheaper rent and bigger space.

Very courteous staff and welcoming. I feel very sure about my decision to move here at The Nova. Ms. Devette Bishop was such a joy. I am very much pleased.

Moved in to the nova today. Its straight the women in the office straight everything look good in my apartment. I’m happy the leasing lady Ms. Vette helped me.

I love my one bedroom apartment because it is my place of peace. I absolutely adore the staff especially the property manager. Ms. Hamilton because she takes care of all the residents in the complex and simply makes us feel like a family. My mom lives in the complex and the staff really takes care of her whenever she calls. I spent 10 beautiful years at the Nova (formally Brair Club) Ms Kelly Hamilton is so wonderful and professional....its been a pleasure knowing her and all the maintenance men.....the only reason i moved....i needed a three bedroom.....if i ever needed to down grade to a one bedroom ...i would go back with no hesitation.

Take your money elsewhere. You’ll be charged double in water, trash and other “fees.” The manager Kelley is rude but the front other lady is pretty nice. Also they are quick to lease out an old apartment when a newer renovated one is available. Very very small kitchen, old/ugly cabinets and appliances take your money elsewhere!

Customer service is everything to everyone all the time; its what makes people not mind spending their money, investing their time, and more.Ill start with the positives as I normally do. The apartments itself are nice and spacious, and there is parking. Managed by Kelly; Ive heard horror stories. Disclaimer: Im huge on documentation, customer service, and knowing how to deal with individuals who lack professionalism, try to exhibit intimidating behavior, those who are blatantly rude and condescending, exhibit malpractice, and those who create hostile environments for others during times of crisis. No one who is spending over $800 a month wants to deal with a property manager who doesnt exhibit great customer service skills or one who displays a nonchalant attitude, when everything is important when dealing with someones safety and livelihood. Ive witnessed Kelly speaking to tenants sarcastically, in a condescending manner, and just being down right rude and spiteful. Ive seen reviews that there is a great maintenance staff, someone please direct me to them, please. According to other reviews, its like living in a parallel universe because (if the positive reviews are indeed true and not friends helping friends out) then some residents seems to get treated better than others, and I hope that is not the case because that would be unethical and unlawful...if true. I spoke with a maintenance man in person about two months ago, who said he would take care of some very pertinent issues in my apartment, and I havent seen him since. We discussed leaking ACs, the parking lot, carpet, cabinets and more, and I told him that I desperately needed repairs especially since it is expected that I pay rent in unlivable conditions...I have yet to hear or see this maintenance crew. My car was also broken into twice...after filing a police report; I proceeded to tell the front office, so at least the community is aware. The maintenance man (older guy) and Kelly just told me to be safe and continue calling the police if needed. Other complexes usually notify residents of recent crimes happening in the area, but I was just told to be safe. I feared for my life; I feared someone coming to even possibly retaliate; I dont understand why the Nova is the only apartment on the street without security. Have to constantly peak out my window and rely on the police, and that in itself is scary and no way to live. Ive waken up to gunshots in the middle of the night, bullets on the ground in the parking lot, along with all of the other trash that has been dumped outside workers cut trees and tree limbs down and left them lying in walkways, in parking spaces, and more. I had to drive around the trees to enter and exit, and I had to hop over tree limbs to get into buildings; just glad that neither spiders nor snakes came from under all the residue that was left out for weeks. Im thankful for a roof over my head.Some tips:1. Train all staff on customer service, etiquette, and how to handle challenging situations...it should also be very inclusive of creating a positive work environment and removing biases from the workplace.2. Create a strategy or plan that is all-inclusive for residents that feel unsafe in an environment they call their home.3. Have an open-door policy where residents feel intimidation free where they can voice their concerns without feeling that someone will retaliate against them via eviction or harassment (which is also unlawful and against policys put in place for tenants and landlords).4. Giving residents a resource handbook online and virtually... (help line, security, TN landlord tenant law book, so they can know their rights)5. Give deadlines to maintenance workers and keep in constant communication with tenants to ensure their concerns and voices are being heard.6.Keep it professional and dont take it personal.7 Redo all the carpets and cabinets in all the apartments.8 Give advance notice of workers who will work on the property, not the day of or the day after.9 Fix the potholes...please.

I really wanted to move here! Overall, the apartments were nice as well as the unit I was shown. However, my application was denied due to an error on my background that came from the old apartments where I used to live. I had all the proof I needed from the old apartments stating it was an error and that I was in good standing. I was willing to provide that information to the manager Kelly. She didnt even try to listen or hear me out. She simply said just go somewhere else sweetheart. after I was trying to get her to understand. Everything they needed to know from contact information to the property managers info was in the document I received from the property manager himself. Due to the circumstances of my situation at the old apartment, I was able to be released in good standing. The eviction that showed up on my report was an error on the propertys behalf. But Kelly refused and continued to cut me off and even discouraged me from reapplying! Its just the fact I had PROOF and she STILL was cutting me off. The apartment is really decent, but the manager is very superficial.

Leasing agents are... Very monotone and nuetral. They talk to you as a normal person and not as a professional worker. So if that kind of stuff irks you, this isnt the place for you. The woman I encountered wasnt disrespectful, nor rude, she was just very nonchalant. Me personally, i dont care, long as she wasnt disrespectful. I was shown a model of a one bedroom and it looked nice. She also informed me if I chose a 24 month lease, my rent would be cheaper, a bonus. It affordable and more safe than the other apartments in the location due to it being in the cut. Ill be applying soon.

The rent CONSTANTLY changes. The management is RUDE and money hungry . The apartments are beautiful do not get my wrong, however by the time they add a thousand fees to your rent, it won’t be worth the money. Management never answer the phone, return calls, or emails.

The worse apartment ever my ceiling fell in and they patched it up had a big hole in the wall as well there was mold everywhere in these apartment. They are not worth a penny and the property manager steal your money and act as if you never paid your rent I hate this place and will never go back!!!!!!! It really dont deserve a star at all.....

I honestly have no complaints about living here. Its quiet, my neighbors were nice (if I saw any), and whatever i needed fixed was fixed or replaced nia timely manner. I never had any problems with management or maintenance. The best amenities were paying rent online and a WD came with 1BR1B. Water cuts off from time to time because of work being done outside. Other than that, its pretty decent here.

Karen and Kelly are awesome. Our apartment faced the pool so we had a nice view. The complex is a little outdated but is ok for someone needing to get on their feet. Its decent and what you make of it. They were beginning to update some of the apartments. Neighbors were cool. There is a tank that takes up closet space but that should be in the model viewed before moving, to whoever may complain. Maintenence was on point, we called, they came. We had an issue with our air but they got it fixed in a decent time and we were patient. Only downside was the flooding. When it rained heavy, it flood because the leaves covered the drainage area, which means the water was past your ankles. For the bottom floors I could see that as an issue but upstairs would be fine.

Worst apartments ever! I’ve had the same leak in my bathroom for a month. The old maintenance man calls himself fixing it but days later it leaks again. My bathroom flooded on a Saturday and i called the maintenance he told me to turn my air off until Monday and he will be by then. Remind you it’s 100 degrees and he wanted me to turn my air off. My rent is never the same. The staff in the leasing off is VERY rude . I wouldn’t recommend anyone to live here .

Horrible didn’t fix anything When the roof started leaking that was it we broke our lease then when we moved they billed us for all the things we’ve complained about fixing. I honestly thought they would have been a nice place to live with my children.

2017 RUN! PLEASE AVOID THESE apartment complex. These are the worse unprofessional staff that I have ever dealth with in my life. They hit you with all types of hidden fees when you move out. When you ask questions they become upset and rude! I recently moved out in May 2017. Here it is almost August and I am receiving bills for water used in April of $111. Really....Never have I ever missed any payments and now they are talking collections. The staff members are Crooks Im still waiting on my deposit of $200. Please DON NOT let these people get over on you! RUN RUN RUN

Staff uses a knowingly faulty email system to send imperative information rather than taking the time to send out written notices concerning cutting the water off for 8 hours at a time to something as important as eviction notices. Your hands will be tied because the corporate office will not offer any response to any issues that can’t be resolved with property management. I really like my apartment but the grounds are filthy every weekend. Many of my neighbors place bags of trash on trunk of their cars and forget it’s there leaving a trail trash behind; not to mention the neighbors who dump fast food bags and any other trash they can find in their cars in the parking lot. I’m borderline OCD and this is something that gets under my skin. Don’t get me wrong the groundskeeper takes good care of the property during the week but think about a holiday weekend (smh) the property is a hot mess during those long weekends. The rent is extremely cheap and if you’re okay with mediocrity you’ll be happy here. Its not the place for me.

I stayed here for a year and witnessed several cars that was stripped of their rims, the ppl in the office was nice. But at one point I had a leak in my bathroom right above my tub that was buckling and then a hole came about and I had to go to the office several times before they came out to fix it, I had a very bad ant infestation when I moved in but went to the store and got some stuff for that. I HATED the counter tops because they seem like they were painted and would chip when you WOULD wipe them, the bathrooms sinks was like that too! But my heck no moment came when someone was killed in my door step. I know that has nothing to do with the apartment complex but thats when I started to box my stuff to LEAVE!!

Unprofessional manager refuse to show model 3 times think her name is Kelly...denied an application because of income but told corporate because check stubs were turned in late..kind of happy I was denied don’t need her problems

I had doubts about moving into these apartments because they are off in the cut, but I went against my better judgment and did so anyway. I dislike the fact that I have a huge hot water tank in my master bedroom closet. I dont like the attitude of the leasing manager D. Conner. The year I moved in the apartments which was in 2012, I had my car broken into, I didnt report it or anything because they didnt break any windows and nothing but change was missing. They threw things around in my car but that was it. I left my door unlocked that night so I just brushed that off. There was one time I had to call several times for them to come fix the light in the breeze way because I felt unsafe at night. However, they did eventually fix it. Now lets rewind to today 4/2014 my lease it due to be up next month. My fiancé car was broken into last night. The person that did this took there time and took out the speakers that was in his trunk. We know this because his cords was not damaged, they were neatly laying in his trunk. When he went to the office about it (not looking to be compensated for anything, but just wanted the people in the office to know what was going on in these apartments) He got attitude from the leasing manager D. Conner. She went on asking him about where he lives when she in fact knows because she lives in the apartments as well. I hate to spend my money with people that acts as if are bad people or if we have done something to them, or as if Im spending the government money or living in some based on income apartments. Even if I was I would still want to be respected and treated better. The least they could have done was showed some concern! Since we have here, we have only been late on our rent once, that was only because my fiancé became permanent at his job so his pay date changed. We never have friends hanging out, or have they had any problems out of us. Needless to say, we will not be resigning our lease over here. Other than these incidents, I havent had any other problems. It is quiet and its not a lot of hanging out, though people do sit in their cars often. Would I tell recommend people to move over here? Lets just say these apartments are no better than any other. I would definitely recommend them to look around more before settling here, simply because they are off in the cut and the security is not what it should be. Yea security ride around every now and then but it should be every night and often, considering the fact these apartments are backed off in the cut.

This is the most nastiest place you could possibly move in, the day that I moved in I start killing roaches and the next I called in to complaint and let them know that their were roaches in the apartment the lady told me that i would have to wait a week before they could do anything and i find that horrible because roaches are one of the nastiest bugs that you could have in your house and now im having to pay for a hotel until they come spray. I wouldnt refer them to anybody!

THese apartments are well overrated. No apartment gate (open to THieves, Murders, & Robbers) As me and my wife were moving out? 7-12 people left before or same week as we did for same reasons (Rude/Hostile/Careless Management, except for Kelly...sHes cool.) Wont meet tenants wisHes or Wouldnt repair anytHing, Raccoons in tHe walls) but was fast to send a letter for tHe rent to be paid on tHe 1st but late after tHe 5tH tHat constantly went $20-$30 more.

My apartment flooded two weeks ago when the city received very bad weather. I contacted the emergency maintaince and told them that it was flooded they told me that they couldnt come out until it stop raining. They did not come take the carpet up until three days later it has been two weeks and apartment is now molded with mildew and I still havent heard anything about what they gone do to my apartment since its mildewed. PLEASE dont move here.

I enjoyed my stay . However dealing with hidden fees after moving out has been terrible . I’ve contacted the customer service email twice for a resolution before my credit is ruined and I’ve yet to receive a response . I first attempted to talk to the office manager Kelly but that conversation solved nothing . I couldn’t get past the first issue I was trying to discuss because she combative and extremely unprofessional . I received a email stating that my account is 14 days past due but I was never told a due date for any of these charges !

All i see is flooding whew thank god i didn’t apply
