Andre the maintenance guy was great. The leasing office people were nice but never really made sure things were fixed. The apartment I had (I didn’t get to see it or choose it before signing the lease) ants everywhere, but mainly in the laundry room and in the bathroom. They had to be living behind the tub. They weren’t interested in food, just a warm place to stay, I guess. Eventually they invaded my furniture, were in my bed and my electronics. All the front desk did was say “pest control came by” (they didn’t) and charge the extra fee every month. Lived near the dumpster so at night I couldn’t leave the patio door open because roaches would run inside.Also you can’t use shower when your neighbors are using the showers or flushing the toilet. The water pressure is shared. I stayed there for 6 months and let’s just say I had my house packed up at the beginning of month 5. If I had it to do again, I would’ve just lived in another part of Memphis and saved my money.EDIT: THREE MONTHS later I get an email for a final bill for water and pest control (that never happened not one time in that ant farm) with late charges. No emails, calls, letters or any communications from them about a past due water bill. I state that Im not paying late charges and heres the response: I am sorry you feel that way, but please reference your lease contract stating you are legally unable to withhold any funds for any reason under what is owed. We will only accept full payment of balance due, or the account will be turned over to collections. So basically, they can add a charge and you cant contest it.Just stay away from them. Learn from my mistake.

I have nothing but good things to say about The Edge of Germantown. I lived in one of the renovated 2 bed/2 bath units for about a year. The units are very clean and well maintained. Everyone I met, tenants and employees were very friendly. Put in 2 maintenance request while there and they were both completed and closed out in under 24 hours. I highly recommend these apartment homes.

The Edge of Germantown was a great first experience for me and my husband. We lived there our first year of marriage. First off, the area is great. You’re at the tip of East Memphis close enough to enjoy all the great stuff like Salsa’s and One and Only, but also close enough to Germantown to enjoy Trader Joe’s and Five Below. I never felt unsafe. The alarm system was great, but we honestly never needed it. Coming home at night alone as a female, I always felt completely comfortable. The managers keep people in line. They will make sure everyone follows the rules. No crazy loud parties or anything of that nature. This place is great for the quiet homebody that likes to feel like they have their own home (without actually owning one). Their occasional parties with free food and games are a blast, and they always go above and beyond via email or call if you need them. Safe, cozy, all the good things. I would go as far as to say the best complex in Memphis. We only moved out because we bought a home. Worth every penny!

This place is fantastic! Price, amenities available to residents, the pool, and upgraded units are all outstanding! From touring the grounds to post move-in, the employees (especially Shelby) were superb in accommodating my requests and answering my questions! Quiet, clean, and beautiful place to live in Memphis. I have had a great experience here! I actually moved to this complex, sight unseen, from a different state. I chose these apartments because they were really safe, and Shelby was so helpful over the phone. The complex is really quiet (which was my number one must have) and the grounds are kept really nice and clean. Everyone that works for the apartments are extremely friendly, and will pretty much bend over backwards to help you out. I can honestly say that moving here was the best decision I could have made.

Amazing little community. We relocated to Memphis from the United Kingdom because a work transfer and needed somewhere to live with my family. The edge of Germantown Apartments are super value with some fantastic facilities on site including a huge pool, tennis courts and a fully loaded modern gym.The experience I’ve received from the start with the amazing sales team all the way through to moving in and sorting out little problems has been an absolute breeze.

The complex is well maintained and staff are always very helpful. Its quiet and tenants are friendly. Close to almost anything you could need. Enjoyed my time and if we were not moving out of state I would stay here for a long time. Thank you edge of germantown for a great experience

I seriously couldnt be happier with The Edge of Germantown. The grounds are safe and well-maintained, the apartments are clean and quiet, the staff is friendly and attentive... I could keep going. Theyre a little pricier than others in the area, but my opinion on apartments is you get what you pay for and its definitely worth the extra few bucks a month. Ive been living here since August 2016 and have had zero problems or complaints.

Excellent location next to many great venues. Great community with very friendly people. Maintenance does a very good job of responding to issues within a very timely manner. And everyone at the leasing office are kind & easy to speak to.

Its a great collection of apartments. The management team is very friendly and works very hard to address your concerns. The maintenance team is very prompt and thorough with any issues submitted. You can also pay your rent, submit a maintenance ticket and other items all via the constantly updated app. Soooooo, Im not going anywhere.

I have been very pleased with my experience at the Edge of Germantown thus far. I have lived here for a month, and it felt like home the day I moved in. The staff have always gone above and beyond to help during the moving process. One of the things that sold me on this complex was the extensive amount of positive reviews from residents, and I can see why that is the case.

This place is fantastic! Management staff is so nice and friendly! They also truly care about the dogs that live here! That was very important to me when I moved here!

Been living here for over a month now, Shelby and the rest of the staff are great. Love the location with it being so close to Shelby Farms for bike riding and walking distace to good resturants and shopping. Highly recommend!
