Hello all,Please take 2 mins to read this before you want to work with IIT Inc.I worked for IIT when IIT Inc was the preferred vendor of New York State. But NYS cut them off from their vendor list because of the poor performance and 100s of complaints filed in Office of General Services and Labor Department by consultants. After working with IIT for 4 plus years when IIT was preferred vendor of the New York State (and recommending many of my colleagues to them), my contract was due for extension but since IIT was not in the list of preferred vendors anymore, I had to choose another vendor for the contract extension. Now, Anu Kumar who is the Vice President of IIT and also the wife of the owner (Dinesh Gulati) told me that I must extend the contract with the vendor they choose for me. I told her that I would have extended the contract with IIT but since IIT is not in the list of the HBITS vendor I will choose a vendor that I prefer to work under. She told me since I have signed a non-compete clause with IIT I cannot extend my new contract with a vendor that I want to but she will select for me. I told her that is a slave like clause that I must work for whom IIT chooses for me.Since, I did not agree with such a clause I extended my contract with another vendor. Because of this, IIT blocked my pay and did not pay on time for my 2 months salary. When I called the accountant, he told me that Anu Kumar has directed him to negotiate and will only release my pay if I agree to pay her $7000. I told him it is not fair to block my pay as I am having economic hardship with my medical bill piling up as my wife is currently going through cancer treatment that too on a pandemic year (COVID in full fledge). The accountant told me he will convey this message to Anu Kumar. He called me back and told me she will not release my pay until and unless I agree to pay $5000. To retrieve my rest of the pay which was almost $9000 I had to give up $5000 even though I knew what she was doing is totally illegal, deduction of pay. I had no choice. In a mafia style threatening phone call, IITs accountant told me that if I go to court and complain I might end up loosing all my pay and on top also have to pay for lawyer fee. I had no choice but to agree even though my deep conviction told me this is great injustice towards me that IIT has done.My pay was released but IIT deducted $5000.I feel like I should be free to choose who I work for and where I work. I shouldnt be dictated by IIT and Anu Kumar who is not a States preferred HBITS vendor anymore. What they are doing is intimidating States consultant by saying you have non-compete clause and you must extend the contract with the vendor we choose for you. Well, the non-compete was signed when IIT was NYSs preferred HBITS vendor. Since last year they are not any more HBITS vendor. How can they dictate who I should work for. This entire fiasco reminds me of Slave trade back in the day where a slave owner sells his slave to another slave owner. IIT wanted me to trade my contract to another vendor and make profit out of it.They illegally deducted my pay by forcing me to sign a release letter by threatening me if I do not agree to pay $5000 they will block my entire salary approximately $14000.Beware of Anu Kumar and IIT Inc.

Unprofessional, rude, unaware of how to properly place recruits. So called Talent Sourcing Specialist really is just a clerical paper pusher and unaware of how to professionally work with perspective recruits.Supposed supervisor must be a relation to the owner for her to speak in the manner she does in addition to not knowing the proper protocol of how to receive and apply employment references all while trying to talk the recruit into lower pay.Unfortunately they seem to prefer placing the lowest paid recruit in lieu of the more experienced and the recruit the client requests.True professional recruiters are disappearing and somehow companies such as this continue.I would stay away and not waste my time. In addition, our sensitive personal information is given to a company such as this...something to be very concerned with.

Im not sure why there are a rash of reviews beginning a week ago, but I worked for them as a SharePoint consultant on a contract for a little over 1 year, from late 2015 to 2017, until the project ended. Theyre much the same as any other outsourcing firm: you really work for someone else, but they take a cut of the pay because they found you the job. The pay was not bad. The only issue I had with them was they did not explain they dont offer any benefits until after I got the job. Shame on me for not asking, but it was my first experience with a company not offering benefits. They didnt even have health insurance I could buy into if I were to pay 100% of the premiums. I was on my own, paying COBRA from my last employer. I doubt things have changed since then, but you should inquire about benefits if its important to you. Also they had a Christmas party where you could bring someone with you ONLY IF that person worked in the software industry. I suppose they did that for recruitment, but I thought it to be a little anti-social and not in the spirit of the occasion.

A**holes.,doesnt know how to treat a person with respect. If you are doing a business in consulting learn how to talk to a person thats the basic thing you need to learn before offering a job. Not even professional.

They are running a MAFIA on Vendorship and trying to cheat innocent people who are trying to earn money with respect and hard work. Not sure if Dinesh Gulati is even aware of all this non sense or even accountable for his company.
